“I don’t think that homosexuality is the worst sin.” -Rick Warren
The problem with people like Warren is that they are trying to apply principles from a book written at a time when ALL illness was seen as sin in a modern world that understands the science of illness, and deny that this is the case.
Warren has come out and said that he doesn’t believe that HIV is gods punishment, and thats better than most of his cohort, but he is still saying bigoted things like homosexuality is a sin.

It’s not bigoted if the Bible says it’s a sin. That’s what the Bible teaches, period.
I’m disturbed by the people that Rick Warren gathered together to submit their questions to the candidates. Sounds like a bunch of unitarian types and they are NOT Christians, even though they may think they are.
Geeze, is everything rigged against McCain? It appears so. Still he remains tied to a guy who has had all the boosting one could get from the media, etc. and that speaks VOLUMES.
Thank God most Americans are still using their brains, even with all the media brainwashing.

So Jo you are basically saying its not bigoted because you said so. Not a very sophisticated argument, sure, but I doubt any biblical scholars would agree. Remember, the Bible advocates genocide and slavery as well.

McCain has the Evangelical vote 68% to Obama’s 27% (I heard this morning on news). Also, as of today they are tied 44 to 44. Why did Obama never have the double digit lead he was supposed to after Hillary dropped out? Can’t close the deal.
I hope McCain speaks of his faith on Saturday at Saddleback, faith in our country and the faith that got him through five and a half years of torture. Americans need to hear some of his stories of faith during his POW days. I have faith….THAT JOHN SYDNEY McCAIN IS GOING TO BE OUR 44th PRESIDENT DURING THESE TROUBLING GLOBAL TIMES. GOD BLESS YOU SENATOR McCAIN!
NoBAMA EVER.

The evangilicals better check their facts before blindly voting for mccain. The guy is an adulterer. Obama has shown that he is a good husband and father. Obama 2008!!!
