Clinton on Brother Meeting with McCain Advisors: ‘Ask Him’

ABC News’ Eloise Harper reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y.,  visited the New York State Fair in Syracuse Friday afternoon, and for the second day in a row she was asked questions about being on the Democratic ticket. She continued to recommend that those questions be directed to the Obama campaign. Clinton was asked if she received a phone call from Barack  Obama. "You know my answer to any question about the subject that I think you are referring to is that all inquiries should be directed to Senator Obamas campaign," Clinton said. When asked by ABC News what she thought of her brother, Tony Rodham, meeting with top aides to John McCain, Clinton brushed off the question. "Oh that is not a fair depiction as I understand it, so you’ll have to ask him.” When asked if Clinton still wants to be the vice presidential candidate, Clinton said, “I have never said I did. I have always said I would do whatever I can because I feel so strongly in making sure that we elect senator Obama our next president. I’m going to do everything I can as I did yesterday in Florida to make sure that happens.” Clinton was asked what Obama needs in a veep candidate and responded by saying,  “Whatever he decides he needs. That’s for him to decide,” she continued, “I am not in that arena. It is his decision. I respect him to make it however he believes is best of him and for our party and our country.” Clinton ate a pork sausage at the fair and was asked by ABC News whether she was taking a late night flight to Springfield, Ill., this evening where Obama is planning a large campaign rally presumably featuring his vice presidential pick. Clinton smiled and continued eating her hot dog. For more coverage of the veepstakes click HERE.

Hillary Clinton should be the nominee and hopefully, she will come out of the convention as the Democratic nominee! Obama is a loser and will ALWAYS be a loser. He has flipped flopped, lied, played the racist card, and continues to decline in ALL the polls and is now behind in the electoral vote projections. Hillary is our ONLY chance to take back the White House!

Never, ever, ever Hillary!!!!!
Obamanation will always be ready with money and votes to put her out of the race again and again.

I just don’t see Obama winning without Hillary. I have to agree. I do think she has something up her sleeve. She hasn’t supported Obama that much since the primaries. If she did, the media would have jumped all over it. It seems as if she wasn’t even around. However, now, Chelsea and Hillary have the stage on Tuesday nite, Bill Clinton on Wednesday nite, and Hillary gets the floor vote on Thursday nite. This is going to be interesting, since the Democratic Convention this year is ALL about Hillary Clinton!

According to Politico today, Hillary was snubbed by Obama — no chance for VP! Face it, Pelosi wouldn’t want to share power with another woman and Obama is Pelosi’s puppet.
And that’s the way it is!

Hillary should be sec of state.
and I don’t care what either side says about the battle the best thing for America is an Obama Biden Clinton ticket but she as sec of state.
she can run when Biden doesn’t at the edn of the terms…

I’ll be here waiting for your Alice.
On Thursday night is the nominee’s acceptance speech. Remember my nickname: Carl29. I’ll be here.
The sad reality for Hillary is that there is a real anti-Hillary vote and that vote will always show up every time she runs. As I already told you, the next anti-Hillary candidate will be Mark Warner.
Why do you think that Obama gave him the keynote speech on Tuesday night?

They are both professionals doing what they do.
There’s no secret myth about either one of them.
Let her eat her hot dog for god’s sake AND let him choose his VP.
Why can’t you Clinton people be as mature as Hillary?

The republicans spend all of August on lies, lies and more lies. It seems like the American public is too stupid to understand this and the Democrats don’t have the nerves to fight. You can not win in a bar fight without kicking someone in the down and dirty and this is a down and dirty bar fight, and so far, Obama does not want to kick or hit anyone. I want to see Obama hit McCain where it hurts. He must attack him and the republicans where it hurts them. Show American how dirty republicans really are. We need to see some blood. I am tired of loosing the white house to a bunch of crooks because democrats act like a bunch of sissies. I am mad and I am not going to take it anymore!

It doesn’t matter who Obama Bin Lyin chooses, he continues to fall in the polls and will continue to do so and will lose the election. I actually hope he chooses Biden, since Biden supported John McCain on the Iraq war and many other issues, added to the fact, that Biden can’t keep his mouth shut…..hmmm….yeah, Biden would be a good choice!

Hillary would be able to regain what she lost if Obama wins and she gets sec of state…
she would be weaker if she was VP
It would not be good for either of them
as him losing is actually worse for her than for him…
Sec of State gives her more gravitas outside the “first lady role” she has with foreign policy…
which may outweigh concerns of anybad that came from the clinton years that did her in this time (I am not saying the clinton years were bad…but I am saying there is a lot fo bad there…mostly attached to Bill)
what she really needs to do is divorce Bill. He may stick up for her and all but he was a lousy husband and after a few years of her getting more strength as just Hillary… his existence in her life will far outweigh any positive he brings to her.

Posted by: dl | August 22, 2008, 3:35 pm 3:35 pm

I think that Obama/HIllary is O.K; however, Obama/Biden is even better. Look, Hillary flew, in the democratic primary, on her husband’s shoulders; however, in the general the Republicans will make her “experience” look laughable. Hillary doesn’t have real foreign experience. She was a mere guest; however, Joe Biden’s experience is just undeniable. McCain’s cannot measure up against Joe Biden.

Edwards from Texas
isnot liked by the gays… at all.
and for good reason.
He is anti-gay rights.
as much as they would be a small group… most of us are not anti-gay.
In fact most people (especially the under 40 crowd) believes strongly that gay rights, equality for women and civil rights are paramount to Obama’s message…and what our country stands for.
It is the “why” of why we are…uh…were if not are…looked up to.
Edwards sends a message very different than that.

Just in case you all didn’t hear the latest:
Democratic Party loses 2% of Nationwide registered Dems.
Now that is NOT operation Chaos as Rush Limbaugh would like to believe (his ego definitely needs so slapping around). No, instead, the loss of 2% of registered Dems is since June – that is a Hillary Supporter Effect.
You can try to paint it anyway you want to – it is not a successful Unification and the Independents are slipping away from The Pretender. He has spent $100,000,000 since May 1rst in advertising – and he has lost 20 points for doing it. The country is sick of seeing his face; the msm has rammed him so far down our throats we can help but puke. And if he tries to run ads to counter what is coming from the Right and Middle – he will only make people EVEN MORE SICK OF HIM. He is in a quandry. Add the ‘Whitey’ Video and the thesis – add more on Ayers, a Wright Book Tour in October, some Birth Certificate Fakery, and now a lawsuit demanding he prove his citizenship – all or any of them – and it is going to be a bad fall for Princess.
Just remember – 18,000,000 Hillary Supporters. And no matter how many dead people or non-existent people these Chicago thugs (re: Dean, Pelosi, Brazile, Blagojevich’s crew, Daddy Robinson and pet pal Emil Jones) they register – YOU CAN’T WIN WITHOUT MOST OF HILLARY’S SUPPORTERS.
And the insults just keep flying from them and they just keep resisting.
It is going to be a hell of an Autumn, don’t you think?

I think Hillary supporters are all sexist.
Here is my logic:
Obviously you support a candidate because you believe that the candidate has good ideas and values. SO if Hillary Clinton is supporting Barrack Obama for president, then here values are with the democrats, and having a democratic president in november.
So when a Hillary support says she will not vote for Barrack Obama, they are saying that they will not listen to what Hillary Clinton’s values are.
Are you people voting for Hillary Clinton, or just voting for a women?
If you are just voting for a candidate becuase that person is a women, YOU ARE SEXIST.
It works both ways. You can either be a Hillary supporter and vote for Obama like HILLARY WILL DO, or you can be sexist and vote for a class of person instead of values of a person.

To the person who posted about the 2% loss of registered Dems: I think it’s more than that. My extended family lives in Missouri. We are all Democrats, and all have switched to Republicans (12 of us). My mother and I tried to have our party affiliation changed, but in Missouri you don’t register as a Dem or a Repub. You just register, and then vote in any primary you want. So although we have changed our party, there is nothing written down anywhere on the county records to show that we will now be voting as Republicans. I know many, many St. Louisians who have done the same thing. Several of the people I work with, go to water aerobics with, etc. Bottom line, I think the Democrats will lose more than 2% of its voters . . .

Posted by: JB in St. Louis | August 22, 2008, 4:12 pm 4:12 pm

Here’s the deal, Obama cannot win without Clinton and here is why, right now he is running neck and neck with Mccain, in most cases there are 14 to 15% undecided, many of whom are waiting to see if he chooses Hillary. A canidate is supposed to get a boost after naming the VP and going to the convention. If the VP choice is not Hillary, of that 14% undecided he will loose almost 9% because you have 48% of Clinton supporters just waiting to go one way or the other. There is no way that he can win in a close race without the remaining Clinton Supporters, so for all of you that sit on here and spew this we don’t need Hillary and she will bring the ticket down, she will bring the ticket up if it is anyone else millions of televisions will go black tonight or tommorrow and will not come back on until Tuesday night prime time and they will go black again for the rest of the election because the decision will be made. Watch and take heed.

Washington Post Fact Checker: McCain Campaign Attacks on Obama Tax Plan “Overblown,” “Wrong,” and “Greatly Exaggerated.” “The McCain camp is attempting to persuade Americans that their taxes will increase dramatically with Barack Obama as president. The presumptive Republican nominee has repeatedly said that Obama would enact ‘the largest tax increase since the Second World War.’ A surrogate, former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, insists that Obama has not proposed ‘a single tax cut’ and wants to ‘raise every tax in the book.’ … The claim that Obama will ‘enact’ the largest tax increase since World War II is also overblown. The Bush tax cuts will expire automatically at the end of 2010, so it is hardly a question of ‘enacting’ a new tax increase. … Carly Fiorina is wrong to claim that Obama has proposed no tax cuts and wants to raise ‘every tax in the book.’ John McCain is on more solid ground when he claims that Americans from many different backgrounds could be affected by a rise in capital gains taxes, but he has greatly exaggerated the adverse impact.” [Washington Post, 6/11/08]

OBAMA’S PLAN WILL CUT TAXES FOR THE MIDDLE CLASS MORE THAN MCCAIN’S PLAN
Analysts Say That Obama’s Tax Cut Plan “Offers Three Times The Break For Middle Class Families Than Proposals” Of McCain. “The tax cut plan of Democratic nominee to be Barack Obama offers three times the break for middle class families than proposals of likely Republican nominee John McCain, according to analysts working for a left-leaning think tank. Families making between $37,595 and $66,354 of annual income with Obama would get an average tax cut of $1,042 per family while McCain’s tax cut for this group would be $319, the report states.” [Nashua Telegraph, 6/12/08]

John McCain wants to reinstate the draft so our children can die for Exxon. McCain’s voting record on issues regarding our troops and veterans: It’s abysmal — do an internet search and read for yourself; McCain’s voting record on women’s issues: It’s abysmal — do an internet search and read for yourself — this is of particular importance to Hillary supporters who are thinking of voting for McCain — after reading his record, there will be no question that Hillary supporters should NOT vote for McCain. Do an internet search of McCain’s voting record on any issues facing Americans today, and you will see how time and time again McCain votes for the interests of big business, big money and rich people, and time and time again McCain votes to give the finger to the rest of us who are just trying to get by in this world and make a living. McCain does not care about anyone but the rich. This is an important vote this year. Don’t vote for McCain unless you want your children to die so the oil companies can rake in even bigger profits than the $1,500 a second they are earning today. McCain will kill your children for Exxon.

Obama supports, do not worry. Many Clinton supporters do not want Senator Clinton to be VP. Actually, thousands of us have been on the edge since Obama’s campaign said she was on the “short list.” Now those other 52% of Hillary supporters will finally get the message what Obama stands for. He’s tanking, and tanking fast. Already he’s way behind in the swing and southern states.
Personally, the way this whole DNC/Obama campaign has been run… My deepest wish would be McCain/Clinton ticket! Wow! That would send 18 million of us in total to vote for the war hero. Think of it, Hillary would be there to ensure all of her campaign solutions would come to pass.

Obama doesn’t have the ability to lead the Democratic Party to victory in the general election. For a uniter who claim he can build a bridge, he can’t even unite his own party let alone the whole country.
The DNC has done an outstanding job to throw away this election. The year that they cannot lose.

No Obama ever he is never getting to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. Never Obama and if Hillary isn’t the nominee then she should be a shoo in for 2012 and where will Obama be in 2012 he will be back in the South Side of Chicago with Michelle. They will be quite broke because once the Republicans release the Whitey tape the Obama camp has already tried to spin. They will be out of a job. I hope they love sleeping outside or in one of the tenements of his pal Rezko.
Now if Hillary is the nominee then perhaps they will be able to keep their jobs and he can learn that threats to people are foolish and it isn’t a good idea to play the race card or split the party. Perhaps he can to be President but you run this race horse early and he loses by 50 states don’t say I didn’t warn you. To the Obots you do realize that Obama only gets one shot once he is the nominee he will be totally done in politics. You have to ask yourself rather it’s going to be worth the civil war that the Democratic Party is headed for. Also, he is going to have to deal with the big loss of down ticket Democrats with that loss. He will be hated by the entire party except for African Americans.

If Obama picks Hillary I won’t vote for him. I don’t ever want to hear the name Clinton again. I would never vote for a Clinton.

Hey you Hillary supporters, she still needs about 25 million dollars. So instead of posting to this thread you should be writing checks or using your credit cards to help her. Oh yeah, I forgot, you aren’t really democrats are you? Put your money where your mouth is. Our candidate raised 51 million compared to her 2 mill. You guys talk a good game but the proof is in the $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$…where’s yours?

The only way I would vote for Obama is if Hillary is on the ticket.
If not, I WILL vote for Nader.

Yolanda – nobody really cares about your desperate McCain spam or your stabs about Clinton’s debt. Look at the polls, Yolanda. Obama is a disaster. He’s losing every swing state, some by 25 pts. McCain’s ahead in the national polls and he hasn’t even lifted a finger!
I would assume you’ve been exisiting in a media fog so you probably didn’t observe much that went on during this primary – at least not objectively. Luckily millions and millions of us did. We will not support this party in it’s current state. Not this year. Either they nominate Hillary Clinton who will win at the convention or history will reflect them blowing the biggest cakewalk in decades.
Then the REAL Democrats will work for the next four years to take this party back and get rid of these corrupt fools who’ve allowed this hijacking to happen.

Reports are Obama is going to pick Evan Bayh. Bayh is a Washington insider, with a famous name, and supported the war in Iraq in 2002. For some reason, I though these were the reasons Obama couldn’t pick Hillary Clinton. Because she matches all those qualities too.
Oh right, Clinton is a woman. I guess that’s the real problem for Obama.
Say Bayh-Bayh to Democratic unity!

Yolanda, Clinton supporters are poor for the most part. We don’t make a lot of money like most of the Obama supporters that I know. He is supported by wealthy white elites for the most part.

I love how all the McCain people can stand up, and say that Obama flip flops, and is a liar. McCain has done his share of flopping, and lying, but they hate to admit that. Maybe, because they know how badly the people have been lied to, with the second Bush administration. John McCain is a senile old fool. He is rich, like most politicians, and is republican, (the worst thing of all). He wants to continue the status quo, in government, and has not one good idea, about how to make things better in this country. His adds are of the worst kind, Brittney Spears, and Paris Hilton, ha, what a fool. He tried Mike Myers, but was shut down on that add. If he thinks his adds have done anything, but bring ridicule to himself, he should be placed under observetion in a home.
I do not want to see another Bush, Reagan, trickledown economics, for the rich, and industry republican in office. I used to like the republican way of thinking, but have seen over the years that republicans are rich zealots, who act as though our government is their monarchy. Go Obama, and whoever his runningmate is. The future with Obama is better than the future with McCain, or any republican in office.

These Hilary supportors kill me. If you lose a race then you shouldn’t get the first place award. Get real. There was no cheating and if I hear Hilary in 0/12 I wile puke. In 0/12 should Obama lose which I doubt, there could be a strong Republican running or a better Democrat the Obama supportors would move to and she would be in the same position she is now, knocked out of the race and pouting.

GO HILLARY!!!!!
I would never vote for Obama Bin Biden

I am no Hillary fan at all, but whoever has a functioning brain understands that it’s the smart pick.If you are an Obama supporter and is outraged with this conclusion, you simply don’t want to win! JFK did it, Reagan Did, they sucked it up and went for the win…Republicans wins because they have guts, they distort the truth and do what it takes to win…I don’t want to hear about new politics because, politics is politics period it’s a war and if people want to play nice go to Disneyland!Even though I am completely pro Obama, he needs to be more gutsy and more of a fighter….

The latest buzz says it is Senator Evan Bayh. Bumper stickers are being made with Obama/Bayh on them.

Posted by: basil | August 22, 2008, 9:20 pm 9:20 pm

I certainly hope that it is not Hillary. She does not need to help give him the brain he needs to be President. He has no experience, and it shows. She can do more for the country by serving in the Senate to make progress for the people. With McCain as President, she will have someone who has shown already that he can work with both parties. Obama is woefully inexperienced. If the VP is Biden, he will be covering one of his biggest weaknesses, if he listens to him. This is so ridiculous! Those candidates who have the experience and wisdom to lead have been passed over for someone so not ready to lead, and any of them would have to prop up the annointed one.

I am a Democrat who has never voted for any Republican in my life. You can count me as another Democrat who will not support Obama. Although I supported Hillary Clinton, I am also hoping that Hillary is NOT chosen as the VP candidate. It amazes me how out of touch the Democratic party bigwigs are when it comes to rank and file Democrats. They are going to learn a valuable lesson in the upcoming general election. I hope that a defeat of Obama purges the DNC of the slugs who have congregated there. Additionally, I hope many of the congress people, like Nancy Pelosi, John Kerry, and Claire McCaskill, among others, lose their re-election attempts. I don’t like the direction of the Democratic party, and I am looking for change.

My question to the Clinton crowd is will you turn all your energy to help McCain win this election once Hillary dutifully drops out completely. She is so in debt she would be the first candidate to enter the general election with millions of dollars of campaign debt and no fundraising base to pay it off. This time next week the pro-Hillary posts will be moot and should be pro-McCain only if you really want to defeat a Democrat.

Posted by: Elliot | August 22, 2008, 10:51 pm 10:51 pm

Why can’t we all just get along. Senator Obama is the nominee and has the right to select a VP candidate that he feels comfortable with. I may not agree with all of his decisions but I am first and foremost a Democrat and nothing will convince me to vote otherwise. Perhaps some of us should look inside of our hearts and admit that the thing that galls us the most is not that Hillary lost but that she lost to a black man. Senator Obama has shown a great deal of thoughtfulness in his campaign and has certainly attempted to broaden the tent. We can be the party that for the first time is willing to say to so many who feel disenfranchised and left out of the process that they matter as individuals and collectively to a party that represents the best that this country has to offer.

MCCAIN AND THE WORDS “GREAT” & “EXPERIENCE” DO NOT MESCH.
SORRY…
JOHN “SEMI-SENILE” MCCAIN IS TOO OLD AND HE’S A BLATANT “CAREER POLITICIAN” & TRUE TO FORM OUT OF TOUCH “ELITIST”
JOHN MCAIN WOULD’VE HAD THE USA MILITARY, FIGHTING IN GEORGIA AGAINST RUSSIA AN EVENTUALLY OUR (1ST NUCLEAR WAR)THOUGH WE ARE SPREAD PAPER THIN, AS IT IS IN IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN AND OTHER COUNTRIES AROUND THE WORLD.
NOTE: CHINA WILL SOON SOUND OFF ON THIS CONFLICT, AFTER THE OLYMPICS AN IT WILL NOT BE IN THE USA’S FAVOR…
YOU SEE OBAMA’S “DIRECT DIPLOMACY” BEING USED IN IRAN AND NOW IN THE RUSSIA-GEORGIA CONFLICT…
IT FOREMOST SAVES LIVES AND IS MORE COST EFFECTIVE, THAN MASS MURDER ON BOTH SIDES….DUH
YOU SEE JOHN MCCAIN CHANGE HIS “WE ARE GEORGIAN” STANCE AND SAID TUESDAY, THE USA WILL NOT SEND MILITARY MIGHT TO THAT REGION, IT WOULD NOT BE WISE…
MCCAIN TOUGH TALK…SQUASHED AGAIN.
OBAMA “DIRECT DIPLOMACY” PREVAILS
I GUESS SOME OF YOU WON’T BE SATISFIED UNTIL, WE ARE NUKED BY RUSSIA, CHINA, PAKISTAN OR INDIA..
THIS IS NOT A JOHN WAYNE, CLINT EASTWOOOD, LEE MARVIN MOVIE…
THERE ARE BIGGER BOYS ON THE WORLD STAGE AND THEY ALSO HAVE A STOCK PILE OF NUCLEAR WEAPONS AND MEAN BUSINESS
———————–
NOTE: MCCAIN IS A WAR MANIAC AN IF ELECTED, HE WILL IMPLEMENT THE DRAFT…
BECAUSE OF THE LOW ENLISTMENT RATE OF US MALES AN FEMALES…
YOU CAN HAVE JOHN MCCAIN’S “EXPERIENCE”
———————
GIVE ME OBAMA’S BALANCED MIND AND LOGIC AND HIS WAR, WHEN ALL ELSE HAS FAILED..
UNLIKE, MCCAIN, BUSH, CHENEY AND RICE.

I struggle while I read this. Agreeing with the pro-Hillary supporters and the McCain supporters. I fought for Hillary here in MT. I my donated money and time. I will never regret it. My husband and I have decided we probably won’t vote, we’re just going to cancel each other out.
CNN is already declaring an Obama/Biden ticket. The only way Obama will get my vote is if he has Hillary on the ticket. Since that’s not happening I will vote for McCain. I need someone with experience and these last few months have shown me that Obama doesn’t have any. The current situation in the world with Iraq and then with Russia is too sensitive to let someone in who doesn’t know foreign relations.
People compare Obama to JFK, many people don’t know how close to nuclear war we came while JFK was in office. NEVER will I vote for Obama.

More style, no more substance. The question, BHO, has been “Would you be able to handle the three AM phone call?”, not “Would you make it?”. Answer hasn’t changed. And your #2 was the guy who wanted to partition Iraq, not save it. We all know how well partitioning has worked in Palestine and the Balkans.
Joe B was right… “no place for on-the-job training”, even if JoeB is doing the training.

PAW, Why don’t you do a comparison of McCain vs. G.W. Bush? Which twin has the Toni?
Rich, spoiled white boy
Needed Daddy’s help to get into college
A “part hardy” reputation.
Almost at the bottom of graduating
class
Never had to work to feed his family
Has a Rambo complex
Member of the good ol’Boys Club
thinks it is his “right to be Pres.
questionable morals and faithfulness
As far as we know, the last one is the only one not shared by GW

The Clintons less than interested support of Barack Obama is disgusting. Hillary lost and is now letting her surrogates slam Obama while she plays big eyed innocent “not me”. I really hope she and Bill will swallow their bitterness and get over it. They lost. Now lets rally together for the Democratic Party and truly and sincerely support the Obama/Biden ticket.

Some of you posters need to get in the real world If McCain had his way we would already be in another war.It took him how long to come to the conclusion that we need to find out what happened before we start a 3rd wold war.IMO McCain says waht people he is talking to want to hear. His little speech about his faith while a POW and the cross by a Guard.Wonder how long it took to write that one up.I can’t see any one really believing that one LOL How dumb does McCain think people are.Why can’t this man campaign about the issues instead of against a person? Is it because his policies are all talk and no substance, most agree his policy’s for the economy are off the mark and his comments about taxes and Obama are not correct. Why does this man ned to flaunt his POW time which was 40 years ago now It really means nothing.Maybe it would be different if he had been an advocate for the Vietnam vets it would mean something but he has not been

carl29: Obama will never have the money the Clinton’s have that’s why Rezko had to put up the money for his house. Money doesn’t get you elected, voters do. Or don’t you know that by now. Obama can have 500 million and still lose. By the way Obama, Nancy, Reid and Dean went behind the scenes to make sure the superdelegates voted for Obama. But at the convention there could be a backlash and Obama could lose. It has been done before or don’t you read up on politics.

Aug 23rd, and I’m Sorry to hear she is not VP.. this is a sad day for our country. I had hoped for a competent woman Pres in my lifetime, and then a Veep to represent the women of this land and many other areas of interest to most Dem’s.. And again, it’s a sad day. I can’t imagine what went on with Obama and Clinton to actually have him dislike her so much… does he not understand the basic understanding of representation? 50% of pop are women, yet so underrepresented. A NY Senator and Fem dem – what a dream!!! Alas, tis no more.. 2012 is too far away… I hope Clinton continues her senatorial duties with great pride, and goes for another senate term.

Hillary at least deserved to be vetted for the position of VP. Obama will not like the outcome come Nov. for him being so arrogant and assuming.
