Clinton Moves for Obama Nomination by Acclamation
ABC News’ Teddy Davis reports: Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., formally received the Democratic Party’s presidential nod Wednesday evening, becoming the first African-American in U.S. history to be nominated for president by a major party.
In a tightly choreographed move orchestrated by the Obama and Clinton camps, the Illinois senator became the Democratic Party’s presidential nominee when Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., asked the delegates attending the Democratic National Convention in Denver, Colo., to make Obama the nominee by acclamation.
"Let’s declare together in one voice right here, right now that Barack Obama is our candidate and he will be our president," said Clinton.
Obama’s nomination became official at 6:48 p.m. ET when Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the House and permanent convention chair, said, "Two-thirds of the delegates having voted in the affirmative, the motion is adopted."
Clinton joined the New York delegation on the floor of the convention when the roll call of the states stood at 1549.5 votes for Obama and 341.5 for Clinton.

They may all be feeling the love at the Convention now, but behind the scenes top Dems worried about NO BUMP after announcing Biden, NO BUMP after the first 2 days of convention….still a dead heat tie in a no brainer Dem year.
Big concern….get used to it…Bozo is going down.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
-Isaiah 54:17
No matter what your evil hearts say or o to attempt to block O from doing what God has called him to do, you will fail.
We are ready to fight, and no matter what your hateful hearts have in mind, we come prepared.
“Be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.
“Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
“And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints….” Ephesians 6:10-18

Why is this news, didn’t we already go through this “historic” hogwash before? I am sick of this making history stuff; people are so lost in that aspect that they are not realizing that Obama is the worst candidate for President in history.
I am sorry, but I thought Pelosi was trying to say: “…Two thirds of the delegates having voted in the affirmative action….”
because that is exactly what this charade is.

It is so unfortunate that that guy, Wright, was so RIGHT about racism in our goverment, in our country being still so strong. He harshly spoke the truth and it ticked so many people off because the racists are taken off their white sheets and hoods in droves to stand prevent Barrack from becoming a president. I guess they feel it is a “whites only” sign at the White House.

But David Schuster on MSNBC got your “leader” to admit it’s more like $50,000. LOL! No group of your inconsequential size has EVER been given the amount of media coverage. Hopefully this puts to rest anymore of your whining about media coverage all going for Obama. Hillary did the right thing in Denver and now it’s time for you to go away. Bye-bye now.

The so-called, die-hard, on-going Hillary supporters need a therapist as this point. Not a place to Blog, a microphone or an interview spot on TV. They support a person who does not support them or their actions and have so little control of their emotions they will sacrifice the lives of our men and women in uniform, jobs, energy independence, women’s issues and the heart and soul of the middle class because they are disgruntled. It is evident that they lack any core beliefs as they worked so hard and spoke out for all that Hillary believes in which is the same thing Obama believes in and direction he will lead our country. To throw that away is misplaced martydom and delusion at its best.

You know for persons to be celebrating this that a black man can run for President in the USA sure does not say much about this country or the American dream.
All this talk of this historic moment makes it look as if American and Americans are racial and no one ever thought in any lifetime this would happen.
Celebrate great but beware of the message you want to send to the rest of the world, because it sure seems like some American do not believe that the USA was a place where anyone could of made it.

After listening to most of what has been said, I have come to the conclusion that this election is not about Barack Obama becoming the first Half-Breed African American to be nominated as the Democratic Candidate for President. It is about the Democrats getting back control of the WHITE HOUSE and the Power and Authority of the Government, of The United States of America, that goes with the position of PRESIDENT, at all costs. Once this is accomplished, I believe that Barack Obama will be used as a puppet, with the Biden’s, Kennedy’s, Clinton’s Pelosi’s and the like pulling and manipulating the strings. However, the elections are not yet over and Obama is still just the Candidate.
I am very concerned about the personal relationship that has developed between Barack Obama and a well known and wealthy woman, who by her own admission has renounced her relationship with Jesus Christ, and is therefore anti-Christ. My question is this: how can Barack Obama, who says that he is a devout Christian, have an on-going relationship with a person who is anti-Christ? There is an old saying that “Birds of the same feathers, flock together.” What say you Senator Barack Obama?

Greetings in the wonderful Name of Jesus Christ.
As I sit at my computer several thousand miles from where you are, I cannot but help wonder about the billions of dollars that are being spent by both the Republican and Democratic Parties, and other interest groups in their struggle for Political Power to Govern and control the lives of some 350 million + living souls.
Then my mind goes to the millions, if not billions of adults and children in the poor nations of the world, that live in less than inadequate dwellings, have little or no clothes to wear, no bed to sleep on and very little food to eat and water to drink.
I challenge Senator Barack Obama, and I challenge Senator John McCain to immediately set aside One million dollars each from their campaign funds, and give to the appropriate organization/s for distribution to the poor and needy in the nations of the world.
I also challenge Senator Obama and Senator McCain to tell the voters what their plans are to help remove the curse of poverty from mankind.

The reason many Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama is because they are embarrassed of him, his life, his unfair tactics and his beliefs. And they still don’t know all about him.
1. They don’t want a candidate that has been in a twenty year relationship with Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ.
2. They don’t’ want a candidate that has a twenty year relationship with Father Pflaeger and refers to him as his compass in life
3. They don’t want a candidate that went to a church that supports Louis Farrakhan, an anti Semitic racist, that has led a rally of 20,000 Nation of Islam members to support Obama in Chicago
4. They don’t want to defend Black Liberation theology.
5. They don’t want a candidate that lies about his relationship with Tony Rezko, the Syrian Criminal that sold his property to Obama and supported his campaign.
6. They don’t want a candidate that could work with a domestic terrorist, William Ayers.
7. They don’t want a candidate that Hamas supports.
8. They don’t want a candidate that Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam support
9. They don’t want a candidate that has a wife that has just now realized she was proud of our country.
10. They don’t want a candidate that denies Florida and Michigan their voices
11. They don’t want a candidate that mentions 57 states in his speeches. 50 states in the USA and 57 states in the Nation of Islam (IOC website)
12. They don’t want a candidate that fights unfair and hyjacks Michigan delegate votes from his opponent.
13. They don’t want a candidate that is inexperienced, especially dealing with military issues.
14. They don’t want a candidate that considers it a loss to not to be able to attend his anti American, racist Church.
15. They don’t want a candidate that has a “non practicing” Muslim father, but avoids the entire discussion of his father.
16. They don’t’ want a candidate that won’t debate
17. They don’t’ want a candidate that misleads the youth with an ‘Obama girl and her behind in their face”
18. They don’t want a candidate that says he’s an African American and missed the MLK Remembrance Day and the Louisiana Black Caucus meeting
19. They don’t want a candidate that enjoys laughing at sexism.
20. They don’t want a candidate that switches his position on gun control, FISA, the war in Iraq and abortion issues.
21. They don’t want a candidate that showcases his daughters on TV shows.
22. They don’t’ want a candidate that has poor judgment..
23. They don’t’ want a candidate named; Barack Hussein Obama
24. He is embarrassing.
25. He scares them to death.
