Yarmulkes for Political Junkies
For those Jews out there just kvelling to let their candidate preference be known in shul, behold the world of Shmuel Tennenhaus at VanityKippah.com. A kippah is a yarmulke, or a skull cap, and Tennenhous has one for supporters of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz, which he calls the McCippah. The front: And the back (“zayer shain” means “very nice,” or “great” in Yiddish.) And for supporters of Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, here’s the Obamica. The front: And the back (a Bubby is a grandmother in Yiddish. And Obama should be so lucky!) Oy! – jpt
