Biden Supporter Calls Palin “A Bucket of Fluff”
ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe Reports: At Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden’s rally Monday evening in Flat Rock, Michigan, Barbara Theaker, a local supporter, called Biden’s Republican counterpart Sarah Palin "a bucket of fluff".
"Barack Obama has made an intelligent choice for the vice-presidency," Theaker said in her introduction of Biden. "So very different this is from that bucket of fluff that the Republican candidate has chosen for the same position."
When Theaker finished her remarks, Biden told her, "You are good! My Lord!"
This is not the first time a Biden supporter has used the introduction to hit out at Palin.
Last Tuesday in St. Louis, Missouri Rep. Russ Carnahan said of the Alaska governor, "There’s no way you can dress up that record, even with a lot of lipstick."
The outspoken nature of Theaker’s introduction may have led to increased audience participation as the event progressed.
At one point, perhaps to emphasize the seriousness of his comments about the economy, Biden even had to tell a particularly vocal supporter in the crowd to "shush up."
"With Lehman Brothers crashing, unemployment rate higher than it’s been anytime in five years, 84,000 people losing their jobs just last month, John McCain said…," Biden said, before suddenly stopping mid-sentence to address the audience member.
"Shush up for a second will ya?" he said bluntly.
"I’m only joking," he then noted, "but seriously, think about it…"
And with that, he got back to his stump speech…

I remember when the republicans took Michelle Obama’s “Proud of her Country” statement and spun it to mean the opposite. I wonder how they will spin the story about Mr. palin and his membership in the AIP which is an organization that wants Alaska to be separate from the other 49 states. Here’s a guy that doesn’t want to be part of the USA for Christ-sake. This also tells a lot about mc-more-war’s decision making abilities. Obama/Biden 2008!!!

Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari has apparently revealed that the centerpiece of Barack Obama’s conversation with Iraqi leaders in July was his hope of delaying the draw-down of American military forces in Iraq. Zebari’s recounts that Obama “asked why we were not prepared to delay an agreement until after the US elections and the formation of a new administration in Washington.” Obama also reportedly insisted that Congress steer negotiations on the time-table of troops withdrawal, rather than the Bush administration, which he described as being in a “state of weakness and political confusion.”
Obama’s campaign has denied these accounts of his visit to Iraq. Such a private request for delayed troop reductions would run counter to Obama’s public statements on Iraq, in which he calls for an immediate withdrawal. Further, an attempt to subvert the executive branch would be contrary to established U.S. foreign policy.
If Zebari’s statements are discovered to be true, Obama would be guilty of the most unadulterated political profiteering and moral corruption in modern history. To seek electoral gain on the deception of a nation at war and the blood of American soldiers is nothing less than treasonous villainy – for which the offender ought to be tarred and feathered before being expelled from the country.

It all comes down to whether or not you think we should continue the bush policies. If you think the war should continue indefinitely, while we spend $10,000,000,000 a month, and you think that bush has done well with the economy then mc-more-war is your man. If you think that it’s time we start to get out of iraq and do some positive things for the average American instead of just the top 1% then vote for Obama.

Palin is no fluff.
She’s a hardcore pentacostal, evangelical, end-of-times believing, let’s-go-to-war-with-Russia hockey mom who may well go down in history as the woman who launched the missile and destroyed humanity on six continents.
Make no mistake – She dangerous and her desire to bring on the end of times will cause America far more harm than any terrorist ever could.

Also – how come mcsame had to come out again to clarify what he meant to say this morning about our economy – it’s strong – er – what I meant to say is that the american workers are strong -

John McCain owes it to the American people to clear the air of some of those ominous dark clouds hovering over the head of his running mate, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin. It’s within his power.
The Alaska legislature is investigating charges that Palin abused her office by working, along with her husband Todd and members of her administration, to pressure former Alaska Public Safety Commissioner Walter Monegan to fire her ex-brother-in-law, state trooper Mike Wooten, to settle a personal score. The Alaska legislature has even subpoenaed Todd Palin and several members of the Palin administration to testify under oath.
The lawmakers were forced down that road because Palin, after promising to cooperate with the joint legislative committee, reversed course once nominated, and is now resisting the legislature’s inquiry. Her staff, upon the advice of a Palin legal appointee, has refused to meet with the legislature’s investigator.
That’s preposterous.
American voters need to know if Palin has abused the powers of the governor’s office. And they need to know it before, not after, they go to the polls in November.
McCain, who professes to believe in open and transparent government, can show that his deeds can match his words. All he has to do is order his running mate, her family and her staff to cooperate fully with the Alaska legislature’s investigation. McCain should also tell his running mate to release to the public, without further delay, all of the e-mails regarding Monegan and Wooten.
If, as Palin insists, she has nothing to hide, these requirements can be satisfied within 24 hours.
All John McCain has to do is say the word. Why won’t he?

OMG… An AP news item just confirmed to me that McCain-Palin are already fully treading in the footsteps of Bush-Cheney’s dirty politics:
ANCHORAGE, Alaska – A campaign spokesman says Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin won’t speak with an investigator hired by lawmakers to look into the firing of her public safety commissioner.
McCain campaign spokesman Ed O’Callaghan told a news conference Monday that the governor, the Republican nominee for vice president, will not cooperate as long as the investigation “remains tainted.” He said he doesn’t know whether Palin’s husband would challenge a subpoena issued to compel his cooperation.
The campaign insists the investigation has been hijacked by Democrats. It says it can prove Public Safety Commissioner Walt Monegan was fired because of insubordination on budget issues — not because he refused to fire a state trooper who had divorced Palin’s sister.
_ _ _ _
The CAMPAIGN wants to prove things?! WTF!? There’s an investigation going on here that started way before Palin became part of any campaign.
I think this scandalous and it fully reminds me of Berlusconi’s dirty politics in Italy. Somebody STOP this and let justice prevail.

You are The Boss… which team would you hire?
With America facing historic debt, multiple war fronts, stumbling health care, a weakened dollar, all-time high prison population, skyrocketing Federal spending, mortgage crises, bank foreclosures, etc. etc., this is an unusually critical election year.
Let’s look at the educational background of your two options:
Obama:
Occidental College – Two years.
Columbia University – B.A. political science with a specialization in international relations.
Harvard – Juris Doctor (J.D.) Magna Cum Laude
& Biden:
University of Delaware – B.A. in history and B.A. in political science.
Syracuse University College of Law – Juris Doctor (J.D.)
vs.
McCain:
United States Naval Academy – Class rank 894 of 899
& Palin:
Hawaii Pacific University – 1 semester
North Idaho College – 2 semesters – general study
University of Idaho – 2 semesters – journalism
Matanuska-Susitna College – 1 semester
University of Idaho – 3 semesters – B.A. in journalism
Now, which team are you going to hire ?

ALASKA LOVES SARAH for the great work she has done reforming government to work for the citizens, and AMERICA IS FALLING IN LOVE WITH SARAH for her genuine sincerity, honesty and brilliant mind.
It is time to recognize that women can do a great job, many times better than men and Sarah Palin’s record shows she is exceptional.
The Obama campaign and the liberal media is in disarray, confused and foaming at the mouth after the Maverick, John McCain chose Sarah Palin, a woman reformer for VP. Their response has been a vicious attack on Sarah ranging from insults to smearing and the sexist tactics that brought Hillary’s campaign crashing down.
Obama fractured and divided the democratic party when he rejected the choice of 18 million democrats and instead of choosing Hillary for VP, he chose an old Washington politician Joe Biden, and by this grave mistake in choice, negated the flag of “change” Obama had been waiving and replaced it with the “more of the same” one.
On the other side, The Maverick stole the mantra of change from Barack when he selected a woman reformer for VP, who has gained the respect of the State she governs as well as of the nation governors.
The McCain/Palin ticket has also given hope to all the 18 million former Hillary supporters who now have a very compelling reason to vote for the republican ticket, as a way to put their country first by electing a president that has the qualifications, experience and love for our country and at the same time elect a woman to the White House as equal partners in governance and leadership of our country.

Sarah Palin has the best sense of humor. A sense of humor is very attractive to the Average American and Women! Maybe the angry, weary and raging leftis should get a sense of humor?

Lying, the #1 republican family value.
This military veteran will be voting for Obama. John McCain is no patriot, he’s a dishonorable liar.
Sarah Palin is a religious rightwingnut. Teaching american kids how to lie with a straight face.

Blacks keep crying about racists and the only racists I know are Blacks. I know so many whites that support black churches, hundreds of whites in Africa, (out of their goodness) digging wells, opening orphanages chidren whose parents had aids or were killed by the Sudan Muslims, tons of medicine for them, Even BILL GATES AND MELISSA HAVE GIVEN MILLIONS OF AID TO THE BLACKS IN AFRICA, AND HAS ANY BLACK GIVEN THEM A THANK YOU OR PRAISE? WE HAVE GIVEN A GREAT DEAL AND AFTER USING THE BLOGS, WE ARE ABOUT FINISHED. WE CAN SERVE BETTER NEEDS THAN THESE WHINERS AND CRY BABIES. JEWS WERE SLAVES FOR 40 YEARS IN EGYPT, THEY ARE THE HAPPIEST PEOPLE IN THE WORLD, CONTRIBUTE, GIVE, ARE LOVING AND WHAT GREAT CITIZENS!

Michelle La Vaughn Obama is lucky she was accepted in schools and had them paid for, we know her family didn’t pay her tuition to Princeton! She is a racist, and we can’t stand her.

Yes, Albert, you are so right. We are getting sick of these whiners, affirmative action, and the govt pandering to these people. Let them work 2 jobs like many white conservative hoousholds and give up the wellfare and bilking the govt. A teacher told me recently, all these free lunches at schools are a joke, she said, ” many parents of these children make more money than she does”, they waste the food, throwing most of it the trash and this is the kind of stuff that must stop NOW.

OBAMA’s resume is 2 years as an absent senator and 20 years working with Jeremiah Wright, the huckster from Chicago that dams America?
Democrats were pretty stupid to think Americans would elect him and His racist wife to Occupy our White House, no?
Tell the Saudis, we dont accept their candidate for President and we hope we won’t be accepting their oil in the very near future.

We are not 100% happy with Bush, but we would rather have G.W.Bush in the White house than Obama and Michelle. So, you can’t scare Americans with that stuff anymore. WE know the stock market goes up and down and has cycles. WE lost a fortune when Bill Clinton was in office, 1999 and the Market crashed and went down $700 one day, $500 the next and many of the stocks went belly up, including Enron. :D
So, people have made money in the Bush years, and we have also been safe and WE DO NOT FEEL SAFE WITH OBAMA AND FRIENDS!!! AYERS, REZKO, DR.KHALID al-Mansour, jeremiah Wright and you know who these guys are, “just a guy in the neighborhood”. haha

With leaders like Jesse Jackson, Al Sharpton, Cynthia McKinney and Charlie Rangel crying “entitlement”, “minority quotas” and “affirmative action” – some kool aid drinking nuts start to believe that crapola and start whining “unfair”, “we need more welfare”, and “poor us”. Sadly they drink whatever their leaders feed them.

Yes, Albert, they are on the rope now, knocked out and trying to recover and get back in the ring. Today, they almost got up , but the news, “Obama tried to prevent the withdrawal of American Troops from Iraq”???? The past few days, he knew the word was out, so he made another flip flop and said the “surge worked” TOO LATE obama, we got your number again, today. Obama doesn’t care about America, he just wants to be President of the Greatest Country in the world because he is an egomaniac. Why doesn’t he run for governor of Bangledesh?

yea, charlie wrangle and Sharpton. rofl. Jesse Jackson? rofl. They haven’t really got a candidate that would appeal to the Average American! I was thinking about that, today. Biden= Buffoon, Joe Lieberman is about the Best Character they have and he left them to announce he was supporting McCain? lol
How about Pelosi? She is about finished because the Arch Bishop of San Francisco, her pastor has sent her a letter to discuss the Catholic Church denying communion to her.
So, all of you that have noticed, she has disappeared, she actually has. She must be suffering for her lie about the Catholic Church, determining and embryo less than 3 months old is not a baby??? What????? She made Catholics very very angry————-> more votes for the right!!

Call her what you want but she has gotten to Obama and is deep in his psyche. Gov. Palin has more Executive experience than the other three on a daily basis. She governs people and policy daily…not just voting in the Senate, as the other 3 senators do.
McCain’s first executive decision was right on…Obama lost his “change” mojo. Would never vote top of the ticket most inexperienced guy to run and lacking judgement enough to not know to run with criminals, terriorists and racists…..just cause he’s black is not enough…if he were white he wouldn’t be where he is today.

Obama tried to stall US Iraq withdrawal for political advantage according the the New York Post. If McCain had done anything remotely similar the MSM would be reporting on it day and night. http://www.nypost.com/seven/09152008/postopinion/opedcolumnists/obama_tried_to_stall_gis_iraq_withdrawal_129150.htm

Pelosi is such a nut case that disappearing from view isn’t necessarily good for the Right. Seeing and hearing her and her counterpart in the Senate – Harry Reid – makes normal Americans want to chew nails in frustration. They are embarrassing.

Thanks Sam, I am going to the site and copy the rascal, Obama, trying to block the withdrawal of troops. Do you think American Families with their boys in Iraq will get the message on Obama? WE are going to send these to every American soldier’s family from this area. When is NBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and the news sources going to announce this one? Suppose Sharkie Gibson will report it on world news? What a mess TV news has become and guess what? The networks are in financial troulbe and they are collapsing like the Obama campaign.
The Neilsens can tell how many watching TV, not sure how, but American Patriots should boycott all of them, stop watching sprots, watch it on the internet if you can’t help yourself, but I guarntee you, if we boycott all of this crap, they will lose their jobs like Chris Matthews and Oberman. I want to see Sharkie fired next!!!! And, we are not even going to watch Charlie Rose, anymore. He has too many elitist liberals on his programs. Most of them are warmed over, burned out hippies in suits and ties, now. The elitiest female , “advisor to Obama on foreign affairs, blah blah title was the last straw for us. It’s interesting to see two male candidates finally lost pretentious cool and start attack a woman and an old man. Alas, politics as usual, what’s the change? where’s the hope? At least both the old guy and the lady are more authentic. I am not sure how many people would buy that they would be same as Bush. But if Clintons stood for change of Democrats to the more mainstream, Obama and Biden is a change back to the further left of Ted Kennedy. So it seems McCain/Palin stood for more change to bipartisanship. That’s just my hunch, so far my hunch has been correct on how the last few presidents actually performed.

If Obama’s camp continues to belittle Palin as a “bucket of fluff”, a lot of lipstick, or other degrading and sexist comments, the voters will absolutely not stand for it. We saw the use of such tactics on Hillary Clinton, and evidently, some people think it will work again. I don’t think so. All we need to do is look at everyone’s experience record. Obama, the candidate for “change”, is woefully inexperienced and too lacking in knowledge to be President. McCain beats him on all fronts. Because Obama is so inexperienced, he chose Biden, a Washington insider of 36 years, to take his 3:00am calls.
While Obama was running around the community organizing (we don’t know exactly what, yet), Palin was leading and serving the people as a council member, Mayor, Governor, and a number of other public service roles. If she were a man with that experience, I doubt that the Obama camp would be using such denigration. The Obama camp doesn’t know what they need to do now, because someone has snuck in and stolen their “change” mantra. It really looks like McCain/Palin are the change we have been looking for, and the “change we need”!

I’ll take our “Bucket of Fluff” over Obama’s “bucket of _____!”. Obama, you are stressed over your poll numbers, and you will lose in November.
Did you all know that Obama is 43% Arab, 50% Caucasian and only 6.25% Black? He went to Muslim schools as a child and talked about his “Muslim Faith” last week in an interview! Of course Stephanopolis tried to correct him, but Obama said nothing!
Do we really want him running this Country? He talks about the poor and the middle class, yet he will be getting $28,500 a plate for dinner…tonight! What a hypocrit! God help us all if he even stays in the Senate, let alone any other position!
These are serious times Obama, and you are seriously wrong for our County!

hank: The more attacks against Palin that increases her percentage. Coming from big mouth Biden it doesn’t mean anything. He doesn’t know what else to say. He’s a know nothing, do nothing and says nothing like his co-partner Obama who doesn’t even belong running for the presidency. He’s another one that graduated from college knowing nothing.

diane: God will have to help us if idiot Obama and big mouth Biden get elected. If you think we have a bad economy now your are in for a big shocker. Both of them don’t have the brains to sit on or a window to throw them out of. Obama doesn’t have the experience or knowledge to run this country and Biden’s mouth would get him in serious trouble. Two nuts in a shell.

Tuesday: Are you a better choice? Evidently Hillary wasn’t the choice because she lost and don’t tell me she isn’t hurting. She is supporting Obama because she is going to run for the senate again and she needs their votes. She put herself in that position by letting Nancy Pelosi control her delegates. Palin would never let anyone control her. She would have let Nancy have it. That’s what we need in the white house a fighter not one that sits back. Hillary said that Palin is not vote worthy. Well, what happened to her apparently the voters thought she wasn’t either.

Rob: Your right. The democrats are trying to find all kinds of excuses against McCain and Palin but they are coming up empty. The more attacks they make the higher the percentage for McCain and Palin. If I was McCain I would just ignore the attacks, don’t attack back and keep on campaigning like they don’t exist. They are cooking their own goose by their remarks. They are two tasteless peas in a pod or two nuts in a shell.

blacktopsoldier. I am willing to bet Obama never touched a computer in his life. But he did know how to use drugs and booze for years before he became a street community organizer. I would like to know where in Chicago. He should have organized his own life. And he wasn’t a law professor and that was looked up on the internet. He was a real estate attorney for a crook that bought his house for him to cover up
his crooked deals. Now Rezko is in jail and Obama is ignoring him. Don’t forget his good friend Ayers who bombed this country three times and should have been given life in prison. Obama was a racist, hated white people and America at one time that’s why he attended a racist anti-american white hating church for 20 years and his wife belonged to a racist organization at one time just liking America now. Get a grip. These people are just using this country for their own benefit. Look out if Obama got elected. The dictatorship will come out in him.
Posted by: Mariann Pepitone | September 16, 2008, 12:02 pm 12:02 pm
foxladynews: Right on. Pelosi is responsible for Hillary losing the nomination by demanding the superdelegates to vote immediately. They wanted to wait until the convention and I think most of them would have voted for Hillary but Obama went behind the scenes with Dean also to convince them to vote for him for favors granted and bills passed. He is the most underhanded crooked candidate we ever had running for the presidency. He disrupted this country by his sincere lies making this generation of college students believe what he is saying on the platform and they didn’t realize he used the speeches of RFK whose words of hope and change was in one of his speeches. He also doublecrossed the woman that was running against him for the senate, took her to court, lied about her and won. I watched it all on the internet. She never ran again. If elected he will become a dictator and this country will need god’s help because Biden isn’t smart enough either to run this country. His big mouth would get him in trouble.

Obama is a sexist and a coward — he didn’t have the guts to choose Hillary Clinton as a running mate. Now he runs to Mommy Hillary and Daddy Bill to help him attack Sarah Palin. Barack, you need to smoke more cigarettes . . .we’re sending you back to the Senate. Democrats for McCain/Palin!

This bucket of fluff comment reinforces my contention that many democrat women despise happy feminine women. Typical democrat women are angry, resentful types totally devoid of feminine charm or feminine wisdom. They hate men and the happy feminine women who like them.

This series of posts is illustrative of the mental processes of liberals. Here is a list of the names Governor Palin has been called here by the great Democrat Minds:
Pathetically lying hockey mom
environmentalist moose
lying, wolf killing, moose eating idiot
incompetent beyond our wildest dreams
dangerous right wing born again Christian who believe (sic) in “end world” philosophys (sic) that purport(sic) a world war in the middle east (sic)
weasel
hard core pentacostal let’s go to war with Russia Hockey mom (who will have) destroyed humanity on 6 continents
installed a tanning bed
dogsled barbie
liar, dangerous
Miss Piggy, Queen of Northern Pork
Rubber glue candidate
This is the Democrat party at its finest – they are functioning at peak mental efficiency and I for one can only encourage them to continue.

Hmmm. Where’s the picture of Barbara Theaker, a local supporter???
She is probably a big, fat pro-abortion lesbian-feminist!

Even though Biden may not have directly said those words, he agreed with them by complimenting the supporter and her message. BIG MISTAKE. Only a moron would deny that the polls have dramatically swung in McCain’s favor which at least in some part must be linked to the choice of Palin on the ticket. The more insults that are directed at Palin the more those that “swung” to begin with will be energized. After a while, the issues don’t matter any more, and instead the voters will vote based on emotion just to stick it to those that feel it necessary to kick Palin to the curb only because she doesn’t fit the mold of the liberal fringe of this country. Biden said the Palin pick is bad for women. STUPID. It might not please some women but it might please others. Chevy Chase said that Palin needs to be decimated. I suppose then it would be o.k. to say that Obama needs to be decimated. Imagine anybody saying that publicly and getting away with that sort of language.

I can’t believe what I’m reading that is supposed to pass for intelligence. Gov. Palin is NOT uneducated! She is a college graduate, maybe not from Haaarvaaard, but she IS a college graduate. She actually knew more about the “Bush Doctrine” than Gibson. There have been no less than 4 iterations (versions for the uneducated) of Bush’s Doctrine and she was very correct to ask for clarification from Gibson. He was the ignorant one! She held her own from a very hostile interviewer who is in bed with Obama.
I don’t know what everyone is expecting from her. She has proven herself to be on the side of the people. “”Troopergate” is a wash. First of all, the trooper is still on the payroll. So, no one got fired as far as he is concerned although he should have been. He tasered his 11 yr. old son. He was seen on multiple occasions in his patrol car drinking beer. he illegally shot a Moose from his Patrol car. Finally, he threatened the life of her father. Come on people, what she didn’t do, she should have. Even the Commissioner who was fired said he was NOT fired or pressured by the Gov., her husband, or her staff to fire the trooper in question. He was fired, an appointed position, because he was insubordinate to her concerning the state budget. She hired him and she had every right to fire him. That’s what Governor’s do. For those of you who don’t understand how the world works, please go BACk to school and get an education. It will really help you.
Lastly, everyone complains about how the elite in Washington are running the government. Well, here’s a lady who is not an elitist, who actually tries to be a decent person and she gets attacked by ignorant people. Biden complains that McCain is part of the problem in D.C. and he’s been in the senate longer than McCain!!!! It looks like to me that he’s an even BIGGER part of the problem. Where have the Democrats been for the last two years??? They have been in control and these problems have been brewing for awhile and they have done NOTHING!!! Their so called energy bill provides NOTHING. However, they will be touted by the liberal media as offering a solution rejected by that “evil” Bush when in fact their plan is a charade meant to fool Americans. The truth is the Liberal Democrats think we are all a bunch of ignorant rubes out here in “fly over” country. They all need to be voted out on their collective asses. Liberalism is a brain disorder that defies all common sense! Fortunately, there is a cure. Its called, THINKING!!!

If Gov. Palin is a bucket of fluff, then Biden is a bag of hot air and an old one at that! His retirement would be a benefit to the country if only we didn’t have to pay him his full salary for the rest of his life. By the way, did “We the People” get a chance to vote on that one??? Who else in this country gets their full salary for life after they retire??? Talk about a rip off…

Yes the stock market fell 500 points, but who was in charge and in cahoots with Freddi Mac and Fannie Mae? It was the DEMOCRATS. It was the Democrats who received hundreds of millions of dollars in contribution and in lobbyist goodies. it was Biden who received a large chunk of that money. Yes, Biden and his Democratic buddies in Congress. Bush wanted more regulations and checks on Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, but the Democrats stopped his bill and efforts after receiving goodies. Two of Obama’s financial advisers were the Head of Fannie May and Freddie Mac, they caused the Foobar at those institutions. Not Bush or McCain.

Palin is not a bucket of fluff. Biden is a bag of hot air who stupidly asked a paralegic to STAND. One would think that a Senator would have done a tad of research before mentioning this poor soul.
He is a pathetic specimen of a VP Candidate. Dems make fun of Palin for having 5 children…unfortunately, he was a father, a senator who lost his wife and a child in a tragic auto accident. Who made fun of him?????

Sarah Palin on the ticket as VP has energized the conservative base.
Barak Obama spends more time attaching Sarah Palin than contrasting his record and issues with John McCain.
No one has mentioned replacing Sarah Palin but replacing Joe Biden has been discussed as a possibility.
This is the time for each mature voter and citizen to honestly evaluate his/her values and compare them to the values and actual record of the presidential candidates.

Spelling correction … “attacking” as in “Barak Obama spends more time attacking Sarah Palin than contrasting his record and issues with John McCain.”
