Bill and Barack Reserve Table for Two

ABC’s Kate Snow Reports: Former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Barack Obama will have a private lunch together in New York City on the anniversary of Sept. 11, according to Clinton Foundation spokesman Matt McKenna.

McKenna says Clinton knew Obama would be coming to town to recognize the anniversary with a joint appearance with Sen. John McCain scheduled at Ground Zero. Clinton invited the Democratic candidate to lunch.

Although Clinton has said he will campaign on behalf of Obama, there are no campaign events or public appearances scheduled for the two men as yet.

Bill owes Obama nothing.
Clinton had a 90 plus approval rating amongst African Americans due to his 8 year record in office – supporting affirmative action, appointing supreme courst justices who supported affirmative action and appointing a cabinet that “looked like America” (i.e.. diverse).
Yet Obama accused Clinton of racism in the days before the SC primary so he could get the African American vote.
Obama race baited – how’s that for “change”

csh, you should just shut-up. I am black and work in downtown and guess you understand what I mean, Bill Clinton is still loved by the blacks but i must admit we were surprised with some of his comments then but no on is calling him a racist and no one has implied he is a racist though i must say some people on the blogs may have but those are blog comments. We do love Clinton and hope he does a lot for Obama. I will place Clinton in Ohio and Florida if I was Obama. Thats where he is so popular apart from West Virginia and Arkansas and he has the working class background just like Biden but dont know why Biden does not have that appeal.

Bill Clinton should tell Obama to stuff it along with his false accusations of racism against the most successful Democratic President in the last half century, a man who spent his entire life fighting against racism. Bill should send obama packing with his tail between his legs. Enough of this lying , hateful, empty suit. Give him the boot Bill!

Speak for yourselves, not for the other Blacks who love Bill and Hill and were GROSSLY offended by the race baiting Obama, who conveniently used Blacks to win the primaries and is now pandering big time to whites who can see through his shallow words. He thinks he has the Black vote locked up now so he doesn’t need to address their concerns any longer. His actions don’t match his rhetoric. His cocky, arrogant, racist self will go down in defeat in November. KICK HIM TO THE CURB Bill!!!

Reading what some African Americans are finally saying about Bill, is very nice to read. Someone said the media played a major role in the division, we (I) knew it from the beginning, the fact that it was used and people bought into it was horrifying for those of us who know the truth about the CLINTONS. What promised to be such a PROUD time for Democrats turned ugly thanks to media. I hope that real unity at some point, could really happen. Joe Biden is a good man, but to use an overused cliche’, “He’s no Hillary!” Or Bill. See, they are not afraid to talk to ALL of us, any color, just the folks down here, where STATE COLLLEGE education reigns, a lot, thanks to the CLINTONS.

irma,
It just wasn’t the media, it was the Obama camp playing the race card as a way to alienate Black voters from Hillary, so the messiah could win the votes. He’s one of the most divisive politicians I’ve ever seen. His run for the WH has actually caused a wider rift in race relations than we’ve ever had in this country, helping to put us back many years.

Obama asserted in a Colorado Springs speech that the U.S. needs a “civilian national security force” that would be as powerful, strong and well-funded as the half-trillion dollar Army, Marines, Navy and Air Force. In the July 2 speech in Colorado Springs, Obama insisted the U.S. “cannot continue to rely on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives we’ve set.”He continued, “We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.””Big Brother had nothing on the Obamas,” said IBD. “They plan to herd American youth into government-funded re-education camps where they’ll be brainwashed into thinking America is a racist, oppressive place in need of ’social change.’

NeverObama, I know that, believe me. He took advantage of the media’s attempt to lift him to the clouds, using Republican rhetoric ie (She’s divisive, Old Washington Politics) when all along SHE was pushing forth an economic energy plan, promoting JOBS and global awareness, which is where BOBBY KENNEDY JR. was one of her major supporters. All that was lost among the rhetoric. I know and I remember. However, a lot of people weren’t aware of how the manipulation was there. I also believed that the very media that built him up, would pull that rug out from under him. Instead, Republican strategy beat us out once again. Not that I was surprised, since Obama sold out to the media and CLINTON haters. Nevertheless, I want to see where the meeting takes us Clinton Democrats. I know the Clintons, good politicians and Democrats that they are, won’t diss the very party that dissed them. Hopefully, now that Obama is aware of his mistake, which I feel he also needs to subtly acknowledge at some point with the Clintons, in public; things could turn this INCREDIBLY HISTORICAL, SURPRISE AT EVERY TURN RACE, around ONE MORE TIME! Can you imagine? I hope this isn’t another tease from Obama.

Four more years of McCain would be a disaster for our country, and particularly a disaster for women in our country. (Among other things McCain has sworn to overturn Roe! He has opposed equal pay for equal work. He opposed martin luther king holiday.. and the list goes on).

Chipo – Maybe you need to read that slogan again.
I use it expressly to reflect my dissatisfaction as to how the Democratic Party has shown its total disregard and disrespect for women.
From all indications, the only thing that counts about women is our votes, which seems to be good only to promote men.
This time, when we had a totally electable woman, the DNC promoted and cheated for an unvetted male, with less qualifications, at the woman’s expense and then “selected” him over her.
That was not democratic nor was it right.

I just saw McCain interview on CBS Face The Nation. McCain is not exciting when he makes a speech, but the man is amazing without any prepared text. However, when you change your mind every other week, that is not “evolution” but “pandering”.

The reality is that one does not hear much from the Clintons, Bushes, Carter or McCain’s and Obama’s opponents. The truth of the matter is that no one wants to stake their legacies, or future political careers on either individual untill a clear winner is indicated.
With politicians it is never country first, or even party first, it is and will always be me first.

JA,
No one here will admit to all the nasty things they said about Hillary in the primaries. They will pretend to have always been Hillary supporters.
It’s pretty funny Obama needs the Clinton’s now.

Are you kidding. McCain is the original Pander-Bear! Every position he has flip flopped on has been to pander to the far right. How many people’s real position on Roe changes overnight? No, this is just pandering.
Well, if you do elect your hero McCain, you might be surprised that plenty of his positions are not what you think they are. Go find out what his positions were in 2000 and compare to now.

JustFound,
I haven’t read her full comments on the position of contraception, just that I know she advocated teaching it in schools.
You seem to be saying she holds that it should be taught in schools.
If you ask me, the decision should be that of the parent’s. Some have religious reasons to be against contraception and so you can’t force their children to be taught something they don’t agree with.

I admit to everything I said about any candidate…no problems with that.
I didn’t look at the racism or sexism from either side. Politics is a rough and tumble game. We keep it in the party and then unite behind the candidate. At least we have in the past. Most of the charges and counter charges were made up by the media and hyped by the same media. As it is continuing to be done…by blogs like this.

I know Palin supports birth control, but she prefers abstinence. I think that is okay. Churches have a higher degree of success in inluencing kids on relationships over sex. There are kids who do fall through the cracks, but then there are kids who have contraception available too who fall through the cracks. I think Planned Parenthood should advertise then, if that’s what we end up with. I am disappointed to find out that BILL reached out to Obama. I guess I got excited a little too quick there.

Who cares what these two racist creeps do? Bill had to point out that Obama was and then Obama had to point out that he was black! Bill Clinton lost his credibility when he lied to the American people. Come to think of it, Obama did the same! The two liars lunch!

She opposes anything taught in school except abstenence. She opposes mention of contraception in schools. Opposing teaching of fact is state sponsored ignorance.
On the subject of ignorance, apparently she also approves of teaching creationism in school and doesn’t believe in global warming.

Posted by: JustFound | September 7, 2008, 5:53 pm 5:53 pm

The democratic party blatantly demeans women?
Are you serious? That is an argument that won’t hold any type of water. Give me details as to how the republican party has become the party that respects women. Then contrast that with the democratic party platform. Write it down and give me details. Maybe you can sway me that the party that wants to declare every maxi-pad as a crime scene is the party that will support my rights as a woman. I will wait.
And my one word answer is not a refusal to discuss, it is a comment about your previous post. It is easily understood by those who profess to enjoy plain talking.

Posted by: Just wondering | September 7, 2008, 5:55 pm 5:55 pm

JustFound,
You need to be more careful in your accusations:
1. Once again, Plain supported contraception being taught in sex ed at school. Just google it and you’ll find articles.
2. As far as teaching creationism, I haven’t looked into her comments in detail there.
3. As far as global warming, she DOUBTS the extent to which people blame humankind for causing global warming. And this skepticism is very popular in the wake of Al Gore’s over the top claims.

All self respecting women will abondone the Democratic Party, that appointed an unqualifed male over a qualified woman that won the most votes, by suppressing the delegates of Michigan and Florida, when they knew inthe end they would be given a full vote.
Women need to leave the Democratic Party and vote with their feet and their voices and their ballots in Nov! The Dmeocrats, especially in their most recent attacks on Sarah palin have proven themselves to be the party of mysoginy and hatred towards women.
Supporting women’s choices means supporting their CHOICE to have children and a career and not calling them “shrill” when they dare to run for office.
Women for Palin! Blacks left the Republican PArty. WOmen need to do the same to the democrats and stop being used by them. Women who support all choices a woman can make clearly need to vote Republican after this last weeks venom and blatent mysoginy.

This short paper summarizes the Updated Analysis of the 2008 Presidential Candidates’ Tax Plans: Released August 15, 2008
Abstract
Both John McCain and Barack Obama have proposed tax plans that would substantially increase the national debt over the next ten years, according to a newly updated analysis by the non-partisan Tax Policy Center. Compared to current law, TPC estimates the Obama plan would cut taxes by $2.9 trillion from 2009-2018. McCain would reduce taxes by nearly $4.2 trillion. Obama would give larger tax cuts to low- and moderate-income households and pay some of the cost by raising taxes on high-income taxpayers. In contrast, McCain would cut taxes across the board and give the biggest cuts to the highest-income households.

Actually, it appears on the web that Palin has pushed abstanence only teaching in school. I’ve seen some controversy as to her position but there are plenty of quotes from her that make this pretty clear.
Her support for teaching creationism, again, is a direct quote from her.

Posted by: JustFound | September 7, 2008, 6:03 pm 6:03 pm

Justfound,
“Explicit means explicit,” she said. “No, I’m pro-contraception, and I think kids who may not hear about it at home should hear about it in other avenues. So I am not anti-contraception. But, yeah, abstinence is another alternative that should be discussed with kids. I don’t have a problem with that. That doesn’t scare me, so it’s something I would support also.”

I know Hillary willing to help Obama as much as he can, but If I were bill I would still be mad a little who likes their wife getting treated like that?. Maybe the two will talk it out. After Bill said what he said Hillary had to go in front of an all african american audience and apologize for something she didnt even say. I notice Obama never apologizes for something he didnt say even if it comes from his wife, his answer leave my wife alone. There is only one of the big differences between Hill and Obama. I’ve been to many African American churches. And while I don’t condone what Rev Wright said, I think much of the problem is in translation. If you sat and listened to sermons of this type of preacher for years you would know that saying “God Damn America” is really close to saying “I Challenge you to do better”. I know the media will never present it this way, because in sound bites it just doesn’t come across. But I don’t see this guy as being horrible. Misguided, probably. But not nearly the horrible thing that the media has made him. Obama tried to explain what all of this conflict was about but it is very hard to explain when it is really just a clash of cultures — like trying to explain a spanish poem to someone who only speaks chinese.

Obama is a racist when he throwns white people under the bus, he was raised by a white mother, white grandparents, his black father was spawning children with any women he could get his hands on. He is ashamed of white folks except when he is taking there money and kissing white women such as jill Biden on the lips, he doesn’t kiss his own wife on the lips. Wrong!
Answer: THE COUNTRY!!!
Bill And Hillary both realize that if we elect McCain, we are finished. This country cannot afford 4 more years of the last 8 years. We are in worse economic shape than the Admin. is letting on, They will not release the real figures until AFTER the election. MCCain WILL go into Iran. He WILL push Russia. YOU will see no relief at the gas pump, at the grocery store and your house will continue to lose value.
The Clinton’s are true patriots and will do everying in their power to save this country, before it’s too late.
I for one plan to help them.

Susan B. Anthony worked first and foremost for women to get the respect due them.
Seems like the only time the Democrats are willing to dish out respect to its women voters is when their votes are needed.

The democratic party had a strong woman candidate that won Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Michigan and Florida and they decided to select a freshman rookie senator that claims to fame by being a community organizer (getting folks out to vote and to get his campaign started). They pick a person who is further left of Hillary.

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Sen. Barack Obama’s foes seized Sunday upon a brief slip of the tongue, when the Democratic presidential nominee was outlining his Christianity but accidentally said, “my Muslim faith.”
The three words — immediately corrected — were during an exchange with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos on “This Week,” when he was trying to criticize the quiet smear campaign suggesting he is a Muslim.
But illustrating the difficulty of preventing false rumors about his faith from spreading, anti-Obama groups within one hour of the interview had sliced it out of context and were sending it around via email. They also were blogging about it.
Mr. Obama, who is a Christian and often proudly speaks about how his faith has influenced his public service, said he finds it “deeply offensive” that there are efforts “coming out of the Republican camp to suggest that perhaps I’m not who I say I am when it comes to my faith.”
The exchange came after Mr. Obama said that Republicans are attempting to scare voters by suggesting he is not Christian, which McCain campaign manager Rick Davis said was “cynical.”
Asked about it on ABC, Mr. Obama said, “These guys love to throw a rock and hide their hand.”
“The McCain campaign has never suggested you have Muslim

Bill Clinton would do well to recognize that with the Presidency the greatness of Bill Clinton’s Presidency will get its due recognition.
The self-destructive Bill Clinton has done much to tarnish his own fantastic economic legacy.
If Clinton would use his sharp intellect and come to grips with great leadership skills of Natural
Born Leader, Obama, then Bill Cointon can regain much stature.
Otherwise, Bill, you are going to be left behind!

It all comes down to whether or not you think we should continue the bush policies. If you think the war should continue indefinitely, while we spend $10,000,000,000 a month, and you think that bush has done well with the economy then mc-more-war is your man. If you think that it’s time we start to get out of iraq and do some positive things for the average American instead of just the top 1% then vote for Obama.

This conversation, and I use the word optimistically, is a great illustration of why congress is perpetually deadlocked and do not solve (many) American problems. It always becomes personal. I thought I was going to read some intelligent insights to help me understand more about the issues, but much of this commentary is, well let us say, let than elevated… just the facts sir or madame. It’s more productive. I give this conversation a 19% approval rating.

Lightseeker who posted that garbage ranking that shows obama the most liberal. The same rag declared that Kerry was the most liberal back in 04. Strange that, huh? And all the while we have self-described socialist Bernie Sanders and Russ Feingold who actively tries to be more liberal than anyone else on every issue.
In fact, if you look into how they define liberal and conservative, it makes no sense at all. It is just a bunch of made up bunk. See this article for example.
http://www.time-blog.com/swampland/2008/02/what_the_national_journal_libe.html
Pseudo-scientific “facts” make everyone dumber.
On the other hand, if “liberal” means that he voted against Bush, maybe I do want him to be the most liberal.
McCain declared proudly that he voted with Bush more than any other senator. And he calls himself and agent of change? Who is he kidding.

You know what really annoys me. The republicans have been saying “You can’t say anything about Palin’s daughter… families are off limits”. Yeah, Actually I agree. So does Obama.
But apparently McCain doesn’t think families are off limits. He told this really darling joke back during the 2000 campaign
“Why is Chelsea Clinton so ugly?
Because Janet Reno is her father.”
Is that not the worst taste you have ever heard? Then he has the nerve to act all indignant about Palin’s daughter… when Obama pre-emptively declared that the topic was off limits.
McCain is basically just a jerk. Who else would say something so tasteless about a teenage girl.

I was watching Hannibal Lector and when they brought Hannibal into a room, he’s not only in a straight jacket, but his mouth is also blocked by a protected mask and mouth guard. When I saw that scene, I was wondering if Obama and his team wrapped Reverend Wright in such a protected state. Both are serious problems. Hannibal is prevented from eating other people; Wright from hurting Obama. And Obama has the nerve to keep yelling about change.

Some how I think Obama can think 20 moves ahead. I have no doubt we will be safe with him. He is cool and collected, makes very strategic moves and has yet to make a blunder in this campaign. He has hired all the right people and his whole operation is as smooth as silk. It gives you great incite into what an Obama Presdiency would look like.
Now McCain is implusive and not a very structured thinker (by his own campaigns admission). They have ahd blunder after blunder (green screen, Walter Reed MIDDLE SCHOOL??) have gone through 4 shake ups thus far. They have yet to make a consistent message and seem only to be reacting to Obama. Suddenly McCain is the change agent?? Why can’t they come up with their own ideas, instead of parroting Obamas?? Because it polls well??
It gives you some insight into McCain Presidency. No order, running around putting out fires, reacting instead of acting.

Sarah Palin strongly believes that Men must be paid MORE than women! Sarah Palin also wants to force women/girls that are victims of rape/incest to carry such fetuses resulting from the said rape/incest to full term, then deliver the baby – irrespective of the will of the victim or even her age. And to think that women are cheering Sarah Palin from the rooftops as the poster girl of womens rights who will spectacularly smash through that presidential/Vice presidential glass ceiling.
Some folks wrongly think that being a woman she will moderate or help turn McCain around from his opposition to equal pay to women. Like this statement one Dave from Baltimore, posted on another site:”I hope Palin breaks with McCain on equal pay for equal work – it would pave the way to a better future for her four children and grandson.”
Are you kidding me?!!! Gov. Palin is even more hardcore in her opposition to equal pay for WOMEN, than is McCain. Sarah Palin believes that women must be paid LESS than men – no ifs and buts about it. Period.
McCain, when pushed about his vote AGAINST giving women equal pay as men, has tried to flip-flop saying that ‘if women are to aspire to equal pay, they must first aspire to achieve college eduction”.
In other words, in McCain’s world, only college educated women shall be extended equality with men in terms of pay/wages. Sarah Palin’s views about (rather against) equal pay for women are very straightforward, and cast in stone: Women must get paid LESS than men. College educated or not, when it comes to pay parity, women are less than men. Coming from a Woman herself, its ironic, but true!
Kind of like an Afro-American person advocating slavery and segregation of the black population!! Wierd isn’t it?
Strangely, Sarah Palin is being trumpeted as the symbol of a woman smashing through the glass ceiling!
(We are not even going into her strident opposition to abortion even if the pregnancy is a result of rape/incest, and the victim wants to abort the fetus. Sarah Palin believes that such rape/incest survivors must be forced to carry the fetus resulting from rape/incest to term, then deliver the baby. NO exceptions, no termination. If such a woman chooses to abort the baby, she commits a crime, and must be tried as a criminal and punished for opting to abort the fetus. Even if the pregnant female is a MINOR child, she would still have to deliver the baby.
Just so you know, several courts in the country have allowed visitation/parental rights to rapists and the parents or rapists to meet and bond with children born due to the said rape.
I shudder to even imagine what happens when victims of rape/incest are forced to bear the children resulting from the rape (one Sarah Palin’s wishes becomes the law), and then having to drop off the child at the rapists (child’s father) door for court sanctioned visits to dad. What would go through the mother’s mind? Would such rapists not molest these children all over again. What if this rapist rapes this child/daughter all over again…repeating this unbelievably grotesque cycle!!!!!!
Is this American women we are talking about or some burqa clad subjugated women from some Taliban country?!

Amy,
Unlike you Bill Clinton doesnt think this is a game. He loves this country and sees what is happening to it. Bill and HIllary both KNOW that another 4 years of this and we are toast.
This is the most important election of our lives and the wrong move and there may be no coming back.
The Bush Admin is not giving us true numbers about the economy. Just like in 2004 they are holding back the worst news until after the election. But the unemployment rate is not one they can mess with and Friday it shows 6.1% unemployment. That means we ARE in a recession, no matter what they say.
The Gov deregualted the banks, ruined our housing market and NOW they bail them out?? Millions of people have lost their homes and their credit is ruined. They will never own another home ever. I believe this was their plan all along. Give people deceiptive loans, take away the homes, give the banks the money they lost on those loans. Who loses?? The American families and the middle class, who are going to pay for those bailouts.
And if you think JOhn McCain is different from Bush, you are wrong. He had to promise certain things to the GOP to get their blessing for the Nom. That is why he is so very different than he was 8 years or even 4 years ago. His dirty campaigning proves it. He critized Bush for the tactics agaisnt Kerry, so much so that Kerry considered McCain for his running mate. But McCains campaign is even WORSE than Bush was in 2004.
You do the math.

Hey isosure, bump – what ever you want to call it. This bump has caused one hell of a headache for Barack. Have you noticed all the panic in his campaign? Did you notice the flat spinning in the liberal media lately?

Posted by: Norman | September 7, 2008, 10:29 pm 10:29 pm

Norm
Where is the panic?? Where?? No spin. Just getting back to the issues, you know, the ones that Rick Davis said the election was not about??
We are not that stupid and wont be fooled again!

According to Cliff Kincaid of Accuracy in the Media, “Senator Joe Biden, chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee … is trying to rush Obama’s “Global Poverty Act” (S.2433) through his committee. . The legislation would commit the U.S. to spending 0.7 percent of gross national product on foreign aid, which amounts to a phenomenal 13-year total of $845 billion over and above what the U.S. already spends.” (wordpress, 2008)In other words, Obama wants to turn the US treasury into an ATM for the united nations. To be more blunt, Obama want to make Americans really poor. Thats change you can depend on.

Personally I don’t listen to Rush-I used to watch KeithO and Chris Matthews religiously, but switched off when they started to show themselves to be one-dimensional fanatical Radicals.
So I’m tuned in to the rather weasel-like BillO-and Sean Hannity who mentions Ayers and Wright 20 times an episode and thinks that Ronald Reagan was the Father of Our Country.
Face it, none of the MSM is giving us the whole story on anything, though Faux News (as the Commies like to call it) is a counterbalance to the Pravda-like crapola I see on the likes of MSNBC and the Big Three networks.

Posted by: Grand Old Party | September 7, 2008, 10:43 pm 10:43 pm

What a pathetic hypocrite Obama is! After he implied in the primaries that Reagan’s presidency did more for this country than Bill Clinton’s and that Clinton was a racist he has THE NERVE to come crawling to him for help now.. If i was Bill i would laugh in his face and ask him why he would want a “racist” to help him get elected. The Clinton’s have more compassion than i have because I would have told him to shove it!

I certainly hope that Bill Clinton takes a pack of Tums and a bottle of Pepto Bismol with him to this luncheoon. Eating with such a corrupt liar will make any rational petrson ill.

Democrats have overplayed their hand. Now their hatred and vitriol in the press and the blogosphere will poison the general public and independents against them. Their cries are shrill and they are attacking any perceived weakness no matter how hipocritical or mean spirited it makes them seem.
The real voters are starting to show up for the game, and Obama is not their kind of president. You cant start off as far left as Obama did then make a run for center without looking ridiculous or worse. Americans still beleive in hard work and personal responsibility, not Obama’s brand of Eruopean-collectivist socialism.
Palin will make mince meat of Biden in the debate, anyone who is married knows you can never win an argument with a woman.
Just a prediction McCain/Palin in ’08 Palin/_____ in 12 and 16. Get used to it.
You can start crying now if you like or keep on drinking the kool aid, just keep it to youself.

Just to be clear. I support Hillary Clinton. Obama/Clinton yes. Obama Biden no. Nothing, nada and the Clintons are being good Dems, if that’s all that is happening, because then they are just being used. I am NOT in support of that. I simply meant that I hoped real unity was going to occur. Talk is cheap. THE REPS ARE GOING TO BRING JOBS, that’s a working class issue. No more Obama teases, because it drives people who witnessed the injustice, further away. With McCain, the Republican’s don’t seem that bad to working class. If Obama wants Hillary or Bill to do what Biden was suppose, to do then Hillary should be in Biden’s place. It can be done, with Biden as the hero that makes it happen. It could be done, it would make history again. It would show reconciliation. It would be something. It would show that Obama is serious about caring about us, the voters who should not be ignored.

So Obama first forcefully took steering wheel, then he drove car to the ditch and now he is asking for direction? I can imagine him with map in hand and antler hat on head. In peak of moose season… When this is done, he might be hanging in Oval Office – as hunting trophy on the wall.

Excuse me boys and girls! Bill Clinton is an elder statesman when it suits him, and a ranting bully when it suits him. He’s not a good democrat, nobody who is Clinton-centric can be.

President Clinton is a star.
I would refuse to help Obama in any way possible because of his unfair tactics during the primaries.
Obama is such an empty suit.
I am embarrassed for the Democratic Party.

Posted by: al from nj | September 8, 2008, 7:44 am 7:44 am

The reason many Clinton supporters will not vote for Obama is because they are embarrassed of him, his life, his unfair tactics and his beliefs. And they still don’t know all about him.
1. They don’t want a candidate that has been in a twenty year relationship with Reverend Wright and the Trinity United Church of Christ.
2. They don’t’ want a candidate that has a twenty year relationship with Father Pflaeger and refers to him as his compass in life
3. They don’t want a candidate that went to a church that supports Louis Farrakhan, an anti Semitic racist, that has led a rally of 20,000 Nation of Islam members to support Obama in Chicago
4. They don’t want to defend Black Liberation theology.
5. They don’t want a candidate that lies about his relationship with Tony Rezko, the Syrian Criminal that sold his property to Obama and supported his campaign.
6. They don’t want a candidate that could work with a domestic terrorist, William Ayers.
7. They don’t want a candidate that Hamas supports.
8. They don’t want a candidate that Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam support
9. They don’t want a candidate that has a wife that has just now realized she was proud of our country.
10. They don’t want a candidate that denies Florida and Michigan their voices
11. They don’t want a candidate that mentions 57 states in his speeches. 50 states in the USA and 57 states in the Nation of Islam (IOC website)
12. They don’t want a candidate that fights unfair and hyjacks Michigan delegate votes from his opponent.
13. They don’t want a candidate that is inexperienced, especially dealing with military issues.
14. They don’t want a candidate that considers it a loss to not to be able to attend his anti American, racist Church.
15. They don’t want a candidate that has a “non practicing” Muslim father, but avoids the entire discussion of his father.
16. They don’t’ want a candidate that won’t debate
17. They don’t’ want a candidate that misleads the youth with an ‘Obama girl and her behind in their face”
18. They don’t want a candidate that says he’s an African American and missed the MLK Remembrance Day and the Louisiana Black Caucus meeting
19. They don’t want a candidate that enjoys laughing at sexism.
20. They don’t want a candidate that switches his position on gun control, FISA, the war in Iraq and abortion issues.
21. They don’t want a candidate that showcases his daughters on TV shows.
22. They don’t’ want a candidate that has poor judgment..
23. They don’t’ want a candidate named; Barack Hussein Obama
24. He is embarrassing.
25. He scares them to death.

Uhhh. Bill Clinton asked to see Obama. Not the other way around. Hardly sounds like Obama is begging Bill for anything. Both Clintons will campaign for him. Expect to see joint appearances later on in the campaign.

Evidently, it comes down to this. Regardless of the transcendent, post-partisan “hope and change” mantra foisted upon us, it comes down to this: Obamallah can not function without crawling hat-in-hand to Bill and Hillary. My God, the Clintons must be eating this up.

Everyone should know, regardless of party affiliation, there will be strings attached to any deal struck between The One and Billary. The Clintons don’t EVER give something for nothing.

Why Should Hillary Campain for Obama now, after all she did for him already. And what did Obama did for her? And Obama is boring now and insulting and not very presidential. He should just pack up his presidential seal, and his temple pillars and go back to Chicago and find a job as a community organizer.

Posted by: Francis | September 8, 2008, 10:18 pm 10:18 pm

Trust me folks , Bill will offer some advices , will agree to a few short speeches , but do not count on more than that , why , because Bill is no Dumb , anyone but Bill , Bill is toooo smart to know that the reason the ONE agreed to lunch with him was that HE is now slipping in polls and will soon lose this Election . Bill remembers who it was that ask for the party to put Billary behind them ..Bill remembers who it was that made him looked like a fool and a racist when in fact he has never been one. Bill is an ivy league president with a sharp and long memory and a tired body after the exhausting primaries …Bill will act enough so that no one can play the race card , or the revenge card or whatever card on him again, but that is all…Bill will rest and wait patiently for 2012 when Billary will once again BE the comeback kids and resurrects his legacy and thus cements his legacy among the greats of all time . I say let Barrack pays for his mis-judgement and arrogance and wait for your turn in 2012 …Why? because Bill is Bill , he was born and lives for the spotlight and when junior snatched it from him using low tactics , Bill will not take it lightly!

The only Democrat President who won 2 elections since FDR !!! Ain’t that something ??? Since FDR , are you kidding ??that was like since the Dinosaurs time …and the DEms treated them like craps in the primaries , now , all of a sudden , the Great One need his help …this is a joke right . Why Obama did not go to Pelosi or Dean or Reid for their advice , they surely can tell him what to do after losing an elections since that is the only thing that they are capable of …as for Bill, he must be laughing his socks off…The Dems got this one locked up and somehow , they managed to lose it again . This is even worse than Kerry’s , considering that a simple annoucement of Billary as his running mate would be enough to have the Mc Cain campaign put their signs on sale and call it quit , but no , Obama is too proud for that , he can take it on his own…now, by the time he found out , it is too late …He falls even harder than Kerry. God helps the Dems because Billary won’t ( not wholeheartedly!)

csh,
What Clinton attempted during the South Carolina was to attempt to marginalize Obama as a black candidate. Obama called him out on it. Look, I voted for Bill was a great president but he let his supporters down because he couldn’t keep his pants zipped. And he lost the nomination for his wife because he couldn’t his mouth shut. I think many Clinton supporters were itching for Hillary to get the nomination so they could start payback to the Republicans. That turned me completely off the Clintons. If you think this election is nasty just think if Hillary were the candidate and Bill was campaigning for her….It would have been a nightmare, and she would have lost because you either love the Clintons or hate the Clintons…I think more people hate the Clintons then love the Clintons and they were not ready to forgive the embarrassment caused the nation.

Pit bulls and barracudas are George Bush and Cheney, do really want more of this.Ladies vote on your issues not your gender, Hillary was on the right path, Sarah is WRONG for America. McCain won’t be able to recall. Take a chance with change like they did in 1960 with Kennedy. Vote for Obama

I guess they do want that kind of candidate since the primaries and the caucuses went that way. I hope the American people are smart enough to learn from the mistake they made 4 years ago and don’t repeat it???? People are dying from poor nutrition,no health care , delayed treatment, this country seems to be going back to 1700′s in England when the poor bastard stole a loaf of bread to feed his family and then put in goal no win no win….. Nice to Meet with Bill get some new ideas from him . bring the jobs that went to China back all of them from alkl over , NAFTA was supposed to be between USA, Canada, and Mexico that was it but the texas mafia sure didn’t do that

The Best “Change” Obama can do now is to “Change” his mind about his VP pick and put Hillary on the Ticket as VP. I know Joe would not mind. If he does not, I do not believe that it is Bill or Hillary’s fight to slam Palin or to campaign for that matter. Time is ticking and If He Changes his mind he would have to do it Now. No More Teasing. That will only Add Fuel To the Fire! It is Not Too Late!
Obama/Clinton 08!
If Not then it will be
McCain/Palin 08!
