Oh goodie. Another election reduced to irrelevant trivia. Never mind that the incumbent is destroying the lives of millions of Americans - Obama gets the name of a football team wrong. Unforgivable!!!!!!!!!

Okay another one of Obama's mistakes. What if this is a Republican? Okay let me list them: 57 states, Uncle liberated a camp that Americans didnt liberate, Illinois is farther from Kentucky than Arkansas and lastly and the scariest, Iran and North Korea are tiny countries that don't pose a big threat to us. The scariest thing is the fact that is so arrogant that he still admts that he would oppose the surge if it came up to him again even though he said in the sentence before that it was working. This guy is a paper tiger. I could write a book about all the lies, mistakes and quotes that he has messed up that would make Bush look like a genuis.

Westmoreland calls Obama ‘uppity.' Georgia Republican Rep. Lynn Westmoreland used the racially-tinged term "uppity" to describe Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama Thursday. This is what the GOP has done. John McCain could not get black votes (remember that tour of the south that failed miserably) so he went back for all the white ones he could scrape up off the floor. The Palin pick is about RACISM. Westmoreland just proved it.

"I want a President who will fight for our rights. When has John McCain done that?"
1958 to today. The years of 1967 to 1973 have particularly tough fights.
Don't go down this path. McCain has vastly more credibility Obama as a leader. If I were you I'd keep pushing the right to choose and the creationism issues. These are the two where demonstrably dreadful outcomes are possible. They simply may not split in the demographic the way either of us would like to see.

So he mispronounced "Nittany." Is that really a serious gaffe?

The problem with your comparison:
There's a difference between a gaffe (Obama) and a lie (McCain).

Hmmm why are right wingers so desperately smearing organizations that organize poor people
There are new developments in the scandal over the Bush administration's firing of eight U.S. Attorneys. One of the dismissed prosecutors has revealed that he was pressured by Republican officials to target the advocacy group ACORN for voter fraud. ACORN was working on a voter registration drive in low-income and largely minority neighborhoods in New Mexico. David Iglesias told Newsweek that he found no case worth bringing against ACORN. But that apparently did not please the White House. Last week Attorney General Alberto Gonzales's ex-chief of staff D. Kyle Sampson testified that during the run-up to the mid-term election White House adviser Karl Rove complained that Iglesias and two other U.S. Attorneys had not done enough to prosecute so-called voter fraud.

We all know about the bogus cases filed against ACORN prior to an election in violation of the Department of Justice civil rights manual rules. We also have witnessed with our own eyes that the elderly white folks who make up the Republican party are very afraid of having the poor become politically aware and active which will disrupt their pork flow.
