Live from the Republican Convention on McCain’s Big Night
EmailRick Klein here from ABC’s The Note. I’ll be co-anchoring ABC News NOW coverage one more night from the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, alongside Sam Donaldson, from inside the Xcel Energy Center (were the fine folks just presented Mr. Donaldson with a Minnesota Wild jersey — DONALDSON 08). We’ll be on starting at 7 pm ET tonight, and going through the end of the action.
We’ll get you speeches, analysis, and a range of great guests: including Tom Moe, one of McCain’s fellow POWs; Sen. John Ensign, R-Nev.; former Sen. George Allen, R-Va.; former Sen. Trent Lott, R-Miss.; former Bush strategist Matthew Dowd; the Chicago Tribune’s Jill Zuckman.

I want to see McCain come out and try to talk about unity tonight. After Giuliani and Palin last night, he doesn’t get to play that card – and if he does, Obama should nail him to the wall. Of course, then he’ll just accuse them of sexism and blame the media. The Republicans have become a party of whiners and finger-pointers, and it’s embarrassing to watch.

I am thrilled with McCain’s VP choice – I’m a proud woman and she is amazing! What a brilliant and articulate woman! Those dismissing her without seeing what she’s all about are really missing the boat – but that’s why the dems keep missing opportunities. They are so convinced that the GOP has no idea what they are doing – and they are so busy making fun of the GOP with ruthless and self serving insults that they never see what’s coming. Wake up.

The only think to Really worry about debating, is, can those surronded by corrupt money, is turned Clinton from Deocrates. And seems to buy fixed records. What if Clinton, and Rick Davis, knew they could buy anybody they wanted. It Fixed McCains Record in the past. And Do not, forget how it bought, Nixons election. I am sure, that special interest groups, who have paid lobbiests, could fix any paperwork. Clinton, had bought de-regulatios, paperwork fixers, and now McCain will have to distance himself, from Rick Davis and Clinton scandels. After all, what if they try to buy Joe Biden. They made Obamas paperwork disappear before. After all, the FBI has been bought before. Those special interest groups, are still on Wall Street, and in other postistion in HIGH Government. McCain should not Debate Obama. McCain is still best friends with Clinton, and has covered up Rick Davis’ Paperwork as best as he could. The ‘Secret Government’, is still in place. We WILL remember McCain has been in Government, a LONG TIME. Imagine that McCain has MORE POWER to fix the POLLS, and FIX PAPERWORK. How Will AMERICANS, Be able to trust a MYTHICAL SECRET ILLUMINATI. The Debates should NOT go on. Fox news was Bought, by special interest groups. Watch CNN and MSNBC. How many in the Senate are still corrupt. The Republican Cocus, has been caught in Lies TOO.
So the question becomes, what happened to paperwork?
Well United America. You already Know, you can not, get into collage without a Birth Certificate, Which the Collage had on Record. Yes, I would ask WHY, it Disappeared.
WHO DE-REGULATED, the OVER-SIGHT, of PAPERWORK RECORDS? The current government, has made people disappear BEFORE. WHY? Corruption? Buy offs? Well Bill Clinton and Rick Davis, STILL has not been Questioned, in FRONT of the WORLD. Notice how FOX NEWS does NOT, show ALL the STORY. WHY?
CNN and MSNBC, has shown MORE about BOTH Canidadates. Both SHOW mistakes made, by Obama, McCain, Palin, and Biden. FOX DOES NOT. Interesting…

McCain loss this debate. I am conservative and I seen my fate in him go way down. He sounds like a politician. Barack Obama sounds like the next president of the U.S. McCain and Obama made a mistake. Anytime you send more troops into a war zone than the enemy has, the idea of winning becomes stronger than before………common sense. The reason Obama wins this debate is ..common sense, judgement and prudence. We can choose to meet with our foes or disengage any type of truce, find or Treaty. Fisrt we engage, find out, rest and then engage in truce or tactic of peace or war.

This is the first time that I ever took notes.Obama definately won./McCain talked about the past and presidents/what they did
Obama talked about NOW and what his plans were.Economic he won. War he won
Iran was debatable but he put foth a better plan than McCain.
Iran(as touchy as it is)McCain was better with sactions than Obama
I don’t agree with more nuclear plants

The media biase is astounding.
They have to destroy Palin before the debate and before she gets the attraction Obama got from the people with the help of the media, they can’t afford Palin’s popularity overtake Obama’s. The media is contributing more money in the form of helping Obama and destroying Palin and Mccain.
Hopefully Mccain will win the Presidency

Obama plan? everyone has a plan…Obama’s is to become a President and put a plan to get in there but did he put up a plan before that helped the country and accomplished it? nothing ! only now that he’s running for President and he needs a plan.
