I am a 20 year career military man. I can judge and critique leadership and patriotism. First of all, John McCain has dragged this campaign into the mud and the only way for Barrack Obama to get his message across was to get a little down and dirty with him. That’s called, intelligent tactics. I was and still am a supporter of President Bush. His policies stem from closely held beliefs. McCain on the other hand is a clueless puppet, who just wants to be President before he dies. I don’t see any hint of leadership from this guy. If I had to follow someone into battle, I darned sure wouldn’t want to follow him. There is a thing in the military called Attention to Detail. Watching McCain for the past year and learning of his history (shot down in Vietnam), we know this guy has a problem with detail. The good Pilots make it home from missions, the good Politicians don’t consistently put their foot in their mouths. ie (The Economy is Strong). It’s time for America to rally around a true leader and the man who has come out of nowhere to beat the status quo. He is highly intelligent and ready to lead this country. Duh!. His father was African and his mother was American.
That makes him FAR more African-American than someone today whose last ancestral ties to Africa were in 1808 (the year slave trading ships were banned from the US)

I’m not a U.S. voter, but I am compelled to follow the campaigns. Why? Where the U.S. goes, so does the world. In our country, the only acceptable change can only come from electoral battle. Filipinos generally love the tinsel of elections. There is hope for the Philippines, if good men and women can work the levers of consensual change through the ballot. gloria – that is correct about taxes in illinois! if you want to see how he will run the goverment, research what the democratic controlled congress in illinois has done to my state, and your will see his policies are exactly in line with theirs! he learned his politics from greedy chicago lawmakers and his mentor senate president emil jones which is as racist as they come! the people of this state are pissed and even a large number of democratic union members that have never voted republican are voting McCain this time around, and those are facts. the union in this state carries alot of power and pull when voting in this state, but the union workers are the ones who vote in their large numbers which seem to have leaned to the republicans this election year. obama, jones, and gov. blagoivich are as greedy and corrupt as they come, and they all have ties to rezko and ayers along with many other greedy top ceo’s around chicago. the whole state is taxed heavy other than the residents around chicago, why is that, and why don’t the down state residents see any of that money! it’s greed and corruption around here. their is a mad exodus of businesses in this state that are leaving due to high taxes putting large amounts of people in unemployment lines while alot of chicago residents wait for their gov. hand-outs. if you want to see illinois budget and deficit numbers, do your research on this state, because illinois residents are living through right now the exact same policies that obama is proposing and stands for and is talking about bringing to the nation. our taxes on everything went up, even the state gas tax, now with the gas prices right now, thats bullshi*.

First things first it’s you’re not “your”. There is a simple trick I teach my kids. When I want to say “you are” I replace the “a” with an apostrophe. If I am referring to something that belongs to you, that’s when I want use your. It’s a little thing really, but it’s important. No worries I have to remind my kids too.
Where have you been in the last eight years? I have been here in the USA, the country I was born in and love.
I have watched while in the past eight years the current administration caused the deaths of thousands of people. Our military has suffered under Bush’s leadership because of a personal vendetta and oil.
Our personal freedoms and constitution i.e. freedom of speech, pro-choice, separation of church and state etc. have been threaten under the current administration. Our economy is at a all time low, and unemployment is abound. Does this not give you pause?

I’m curious, when did you start your business? I suspect that if it is true, that you will have to let go of 50% of your employees then what must be true and in particular as it impacts your employees. That this is a direct result of the actions of the Bush administration over the last eight years, or that the successful start of your business came during the healthy economic environment created by the Clinton administration. Of course, if the tables were turned and a democrat had been in the white house, I’m sure you would have no trouble attributing the source of your financial woes. This is a special skill that Republicans, of all political parties, possess: blame failure on someone else, no matter how big a part they play. The result: they just keep on digging a deeper hole (and getting madder and madder at others). They even blame their poor grammar on other people. :)

To, is used when you are addressing someone i.e. “I’d like to speak to you”.
Too, is a adverb and used when you want to emphasize something i.e. “You are too funny or you’re too funny” either of these work.
Two, is the number that follows the number one.

Stacie: I go news for you. I am a white woman also but voting for McCain. No candidate running for the presidency ever had a background like Obama. And you are well aware of that fact. He has been underhanded since he graduated college and will go on even if he is elected president. Obama is not the goody goodt two shoes that he pretends to be. You haven’t read his BIO printed in the NYT months ago and it is very interesting. I would not give my vote to a candidate that was a racist, anti-american white hater for over 20 years. I love this country and it is the greatest country in the world and Obama should have appreciated that.

She wants to do away with sex education in schools and put in Creationism which is a religion of sorts. She did try to control books in the library but the librarian refused to take any books out. She rules with do it my way or you are fired. There have been other firings. She scares me to death.
