Oh, That Joe! (No. 17 in a Series) — First Thing We Do, Let’s Retain All the Lawyers
"I think we’re going to be up very late counting votes," Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., told a kettle of lawyers Tuesday night at a fundraiser for the Democratic Victory Fund in Washington, D.C. "And so, your help means a big deal. The last help we need you for, is you’re the best legal minds in the country. We’re going to need you going into election time, because we’re going to mobilize thousands of lawyers to make sure they don’t steal another election."
Standing near Sen. Claire McCaskill, D-Mo., Biden also said that if "one more national commentator talks about what a great debater I am, all Claire is gonna have to do is make sure that Sarah Palin, when she’s walking on the stage, doesn’t trip, and she’ll win.
"One of the debates I’ve had and finally won within the campaign, Claire, is — we talk about how John McCain’s ‘changed,’" Biden said. "He hasn’t changed a bit. John McCain has not changed one single solitary bit from the day I met him 34 years ago.
"He has never, never, never, never, never, never, never shared the values set that you share," Biden said. "He’s an honorable, decent man, but John McCain truly believes, truly believes that you are corporate America’s problem," he said to the trial lawyers. "And thank God you are."
Biden said that he’s "done more than any other senator combined" for trial lawyers.
"There are two people — you’ve heard me say it before — two groups that stand between us and the barbarians at the gate," Biden said. "It’s you and organized labor. That’s it. That is it. So, mark my words, mark my words, if we lose this election, you are going to continue to see a continuation of the onslaught on everything we care about. For real. For real. So, I’m not only thanking you for your help. I would think you’re all absolutely brain-dead if you didn’t help. And I mean it."

I want McCain to fixate on Biden. Make my day. Please. Start running ads about Biden. Get all worked up about Biden. Waste some money running ads about Biden.
I had no clue who this guy was before this election, and I think he’s great. He’s not teflon – he’s my 30 year old cast-iron pan that nothing sticks to.
I love Biden.

With deference to McCain’s heroic service and the strength of Palin’s family values, both of which make a tingle run up my leg, I believe that Joe Biden has exceeded in a “Country First” sacrifice. Joe Biden is a true American Patriot.
Every day, every hour it is apparent that Senator Biden has chosen to “fall on his sword” to save the republic. This I heartily applaud. The Biden legacy will be his insight into the horrendous secrets of Obama and a well schemed plan to defeat, as Hillary Clinton said “a flawed candidate.”
What hideous secrets Senator Biden learned as an Obama campaign insider remain unsaid but his actions reflect on his true and strong patriotism.
History, be good to Joe. He is my hero. I hope President McCain recognizes your sacrifice.

Hey Tungsten, Joe Biden slanders the man who was involved in the accident that killed his first wife. He has mentioned in at least two speeches that the guy was drinking. It is an absolute lie. The man’s family has to defend their father from this man. Joe Biden knows the attorney general for delaware says there was no evidence whatsoever that the man was drinking, but good ole Joe doesn’t let that stand in teh way of his lying. It’s despicable. You don’t know Joe.

One of the outrageous things I discovered about elections is that campaigns can send out absentee ballots to voters.
The McCain campaign has mailed out confusing absentee ballots to 9 states so far: Florida, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, Minnesota, Missouri, Pennsylvania, Virginia and Wisconsin.
In the case of Ohio, they added a little box on the ballot that the voter needed to check stating they were indeed registered to vote. If you overlooked that little box, your ballot did not count.
In other instances, the ballots the McCain campaign sent had a return address to an elections office outside of the county. Thus the ballot does not arrive where it should and is not counted. You think you’ve voted but you haven’t.
DO NOT use an absentee ballot sent to you by either campaign or any private entity, though I have not heard of the Obama campaign doing this sort of thing.
I can’t believe this is allowed in a democracy.

I don’t trust him as far as I can throw him, but the more I read about him and the things he says, the more I am fascinated by his persona.

The myth of the need for tort reform is just that – a myth. Both the filings and awards for civil actions are down significantly. The reality is that those stories everyone hears about frivolous lawsuits are almost entirely untrue. They are intentionally set in motion by the same corporate giants that are currently trying to loot the American treasury in order to make a gullible public think all trial lawyers are evil and hopefully erode access to civil justice – one of the most important cornerstones of our Constitution, at least our founding fathers thought so. I’m proud that Biden thinks for himself and doesn’t have to read s script. Obama chose him precisely because he would challenge and inform him. Instead of looking for a “soulmate” that hasn’t got an original idea or thought in her head. Obama’s decision shows real leadership, widom and confidence. Okay – go ahead and start calling names. I find that the 4th grade playground playbook is very popular on this site.

What I continue to find amazing is the fluff you call your choice of VP – along with John (I am not an elitist (although I own 9 homes and thirteen cars)) McCain – you republicans seem to think that we don’t get it. McCain is imply afraid to let the fluff speak to the press for fear she will tank his campaign like Wall Street. I mean the Straight Talk express went straight to he!! when he picked her – I vet my dog more than he vetted her.
Coupled with this bailout of Wall Street by your Administration, headed by the former CEO of Goldman Sachs who is at least part of the problem (33 billion paid out in CEO bonuses last year alone) that we thinking Americans won’t embrace the future because he is black – just goes to show how narrow minded you really are. You can fool some of the people part of the time, but you can’t fool the rest of the people all of the time – and this joke of a Candidate and VP choice will go down in history as one of the most stupid things ever done by the GOP party. I mean they don’t even agree on the same issues and she can’t talk because he is so afraid of what she’ll say. I can’t wait until she has her debate – of course the GOP demanded rules for her so she wouldn’t trip walking to the podium. You’ll reap what you’ve sown and I personally can’t wait till it’s harvest time!
Bring it on John – let’s tear down the facade that you’ve built around your lies. John McCain is so Hollywood he only hangs out with the best and the wealthist!

I half expect to hear that they found him in the Chicago river.
Here’s my favorite from the McCaskill-Nitwit speech:
“John McCain has not changed one single solitary bit from the day I met him 34 years ago.
“He has never, never, never, never, never, never, never shared the values set that you share,” Biden said. “He’s an honorable, decent man … ”

I don’t blame McCain for shunning the media…CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, specifically Gibson have done nothing but trash Palin since McCain announced his pick. These networks have no credibility for me. It may be politics, but these people have hurt kids who do not deserve to see their mother treated like this. As for the feminists, what a pathetic excuse for women they are. If you don’t like a candidate, fine, don’t vote for them, but the ugliness is inexcusable.

cincyr,
Just a couple of points…
- The Ohio ballot doesn’t require the box. Whether it is checked or not the vote should still count (and has in past elections), but this time “In a narrow interpretation of Ohio law, Democratic Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner says many of the McCain forms have not been completed properly.”
- The “other instances” consist primarily of voters who registered in one location then moved and haven’t yet registered in their new location. Depending on residency requirements many of those folks actually WOULD be eligible to vote in their former precinct
- The ballots were mailed to registered Republicans and Independents. Why would McCain send ballots to Obama supporters? If your answer is to mislead and/or suppress their votes, why then would he mail them to Republicans Independents? Can’t have it both ways…

While Old Joe Biden was trying to showcase his abilities as a talk show host, his opponent was working…
Specifically, Sarah Palin sat down with Afghan President Hamid Karzai and Colombian President Alvaro Uribe for private discussions earlier today.
“I found her quite a capable woman,” Karzai said later. “She asked the right questions on Afghanistan.”
Sarah also met with former Secretary of State Henry Kissinger for insights on Georgia, Russia, China and Iran.
Maybe Old Joe could find some time for work between sound bites and Obama schooling…

I have a question for everyone out there that keeps berating Sarah Palin’s lack of foreign policy experience, and generally painting her as some type of airhead.
Where was this outrage when John Edwards ran as the VP nominee with John Kerry in 2004?
He was a first term Senator with no foreign policy experience, and quite new to the political scene.

Biden KNOWS that OBAMA is not ready to be President .. so he slips his tongue here and there … cause out of the heart, the mouth speaketh …
The more CLOSELY he works with OBAMA, the more he sees the inside workings of his campaign. He sees “OBAMA FIRST”
And, he wishes he is not the VP candidate … and wants OUT …

I feel it necessary to point out nobody cares about Biden. Nobody would care about Mc Cain either but he is the nominee so they have to.
The real stars are Obama and Palin. Since Biden is just the VP pick, he is increasingly getting ignored due to his ineptitude. He has hurt Obama.

None of which refutes any of the information I posted earlier. Democrats set up the current economic situation, Republicans tried to correct it 3-5 years ago and were blocked by Democrats. I don’t know how much clearer I can be.

THEN make your own opinion. They are connected closely, by members of McCain staff.
And you forget, just a little while ago, Mccains staff member was STILL, collecting funds from Fannie Mae, until a month ago.
Can you say Inside Tradeing. Government Officials, are already looking into it.
SSHHHHH! Don’t tell Palin, she is next.

The liberal democrats caused this collapse due to corruption. They should be investigated and charged; removed from their seats immediately. Barney-Frank-Chris Dodd. Pelosi. Reid. others. I don’t understand why these people are not charged for manipulating the banking laws while overseeing the regulations. It’s a crime. Investigate this white collar crime. Get the evidence and charge them along with the CEO’s of the financial institutions they were overseeing the transaction/activities. The government cannot own banks. It would be a socialism 101. What is happening. The leftists can get away with anything. Where’s the good guys at?

I see no problem with the associations that Obama has with Rezco, Rev. Wright, Father Flager, Wiliam Ayers, Chicago politics, Fanny Mae, etc, etc…No problems at all. What ever it takes to get him in the white house, even if he continues to not salute the flag or say the pledge, is OK with me. I would not have a problem if he had al Qaeda at the White House or wanted to negotiate with the terrorists unconditionally.
I don’t care how he gets into office, he needs to get into office.

Leonard,
Actually if you scroll down just a wee bit to one of my earlier posts you’ll see that those big scary Republicans tried to reform Fannie and Freddy in 2003 (Bush) & 2005 (McCain). I’m getting older so maybe my memory is a little foggy, but I thought the Democrats took control in 2006.

i do have to hand it to obama he wanted a v.p that would not outshine him (like hillary) in that regard biden meets the criteria.

BTW, television was “invented” in the mid-1920′s, but FDR’s first TV appearance was 1939. His first Fireside Chat, however, was in 1929, when he was Governor of New York. Joe referred to Franklin Roosevelt, not President Roosevelt.

Okay, the money that Obama got from Fannie Mae & Freddie Mac is from the EMPLOYEES of the companies. You know, when you donate, you have to say where you work. Fact check it if you don’t believe me. Also, it’s going all the way back to 2004. Unlike McCain, whose campaign manager was still collecting $15,000 per month from them up until last month. McCain is the one running with the thugs that got us into this mess!

You Mean to tell all Free American that Rick Davis, was money laundering American investments, to fund who? McCain. No…He wouldn’t do that would he? Maybe other top officals, but not McCain. Who is the oldest in this campaign?
And the Media Worries about Palin’s Experience and McCain’s Age? [Victor Davis Hanson]
I think in the space of about the last 24 hours, Joe Biden claimed that the AIG bailout was bad, but then said it wasn’t bad;
that we did not need to burn coal;
that his apology about the dirty McCain ad was, as they say, inoperative;
that FDR once went on television to address the nation after the stock market crash of ’29 (that’s a twofer that trumps Obama’s Americans liberating Auschwitz);
and all but said that McCain took a $50,000 bribe.
Not a bad day’s work — encompassing terrible energy policy, flip-flopping, historical ignorance, and slander. And this comes on top of Palin the “good looking” “Lt. Governor” of Alaska, Hillary as the better VP pick than himself, the patriotism of paying higher taxes, and so on.
And those in turn come on top of the primary remarks about Indians in donut shops, and “bright and clean” blacks. And those in turn come on top of . . . (Well, go back to the pilfered speeches and made-up bios.)
Something is very wrong here. While most forgive the silly slip like “Barack America” or asking the wheel-chair bound to stand up, I think the Obama staff must have gone from amusement to embarrassment and now to serious concern whether Biden is up to the job.
Had this been Palin, the election would now be over.

“Joe has been in the Senate for 36 years, has met over 150 world leaders, and no wars yet.”
What good does it do you to have met all those leaders if every major international decision you’ve voted on, you’ve been wrong? According to Obama’s own account, Biden’s decisions on the wars and the surge have been bad judgement. Obama ran against Hillary saying that he showed the superior judgement by “opposing” the war, while she voted for it. Then he goes and picks as his running mate one who also voted for the war, AND who opposed the surge, which has turned out to be a success beyond anyone’s wildest imaginations.
Biden= consistently wrong.

People are sheep, until they look away from their leader, which was Bush.

One thing that these elections show is just how little U.S. senators actually do. McCain, Obama, Clinton are always campaigning. If they have this much time to campaign, you know they don’t do much at all in the Senate. Being a senator is like being on vacation year-round, and casting a vote from time to time when you feel like going to Washington to do it. Ridiculous. People, our system is absolutely ridiculous.
I imagine that mayors do probably more than governors or senators.

Maybe next time, though, we can ask Governor Palin where she learned that dinosaurs and humans roamed the Earth together 6,000 years ago. Oh, that’s right, she’s not allowed to say anything in public or to the free press that’s not displayed on a teleprompter :-)

Obama does keep mumbling something about giving vast sums of money to SOMEONE though. That was his plan all along (and it wasn’t going to be us getting the money).
I think that the next president will be more constrained about where the money goes. This will be a good thing. McCain won’t mind if he gets elected, and if Obama gets elected he won’t be able to trick his buddies in Cook County out like Bill Gates at our expense.
Posted by: midwestlady | September 24, 2008, 12:35 am 12:35 am
“Obama doesnt want to say a thing about the bailouts because he has lobbyists that worked for the companies under investigation and he took money from them… not that that gets you in trouble in washington but it should”
Exactly! He also doesn’t want to say anything about the bailouts because he wants to wait and see. He will wait to see what the administration and the congress does, and then when it doesn’t work out, he will say “see, told you so!!!” Nobody knows if the bailouts will work or not. So he doesn’t take a position so that he can argue for himself whichever way he needs to argue to say that he had the “good judgement” to not be for their plan.
It’s political opportunism, just like Obama’s entire career has been based on. Giving a speech against the war in an anti-war district and while having nothing to lose by giving that speech= Obama. Then using that to say he had “good judgement” to be against the war. Alligning himself with Wright, Rezko and Ayers to gain clout in the shady Chicago policial scene, then dumping them when he sees he is taking heat for those associations and he no longer needs them= Obama. Etc etc etc etc etc.
Folks, Obama is a typical scumbag politician, and his bitter, hateful, self-serving ungrateful wife is not fit to be first lady.

Michelle Obama did the Ellen show and Paula Deen cooking show.
In between those shows she managed to skip the 9/11 ceremony at Ground Zero.
Classy. And speaks volumes.

Not to mention that video of Obama himself declaring how much he’d cut back on our military and defense systems.
Obama is toast. Can’t wait till November. :)

“Can’t wait till the Rev. Wright ads make the airwaves.
Not to mention that video of Obama himself declaring how much he’d cut back on our military and defense systems”
Lol. Remember how Obama was ahead by about 6-8 points before the McCain camp starting running those celebrity ads, and then it pulled dead even? Imagine when they really pull out the stops and show the REAL side of Obama. If inocuous celebrity ads did that much damage, just wait until the Republicans really get on the offensive. Obama is going to lose this election folks.
You’re right about him saying he would cut back on military. He said that before the events played out and now he’s proven to be wrong. Just like he is flip-flopping on EVERYTHING. Tax cuts? Maybe not afterall. Meeting with radicals? That didn’t go well, so backed off on that one. Surge failed? Well, he’s been forced to admit now it was a huge success, though he wont use the word victory. “I can no more disavow wright any more than I can disavow the black community,” then out of the primaries and need to win white support “i reject that man.” Is there ANY substance to this man? He plays it as he goes along, and then tries to pretend that he had the foresight and the wisdom all along.

Headline: Economic Fears Give Obama Clear Lead Over McCain in Poll
Just 9 percent of those surveyed rated the economy as good or excellent, the first time that number has been in single digits since the days just before the 1992 election. Just 14 percent said the country is heading in the right direction, equaling the record low on that question in polls dating back to 1973.
As a point of comparison, neither of the last two Democratic nominees — John F. Kerry in 2004 or Al Gore in 2000 — recorded support above 50 percent in a pre-election poll by the Post and ABC News.

all the poll of polls averages still have Obama with a 2 pt lead and that will be gone after the first debate
Posted by: staniam | September 24, 2008, 1:04 am 1:04 am
UPDATE II: Some are calling this poll an outlier. While that is possible, it’s just as possible that this election is breaking. I’d like to remind you that the LA Times found earlier today another big gap on whose best suited to handle the economic crisis
Obama: 48%
McCain: 35%
That’s a 13% gap, matching the ABC Poll finding on the same question:
Obama: 51%
McCain: 38%

Obama has a two point lead.
Even that black Obama supporter on O’Reilly (can’t think of his name) said if Obama doesn’t go into election day with about a 7 point lead, he will lose.
Why? Bradley Effect for one.

When you have the former president Bill Clinton going on The View praising McCain, saying you couldn’t have normalized relations with Vietnam without him, then you know it’s over. Everyone watching was just reminded of McCain’s vastly superior foreign policy experience.
The Clintons are secretly working for a McCain victory.

That’s because Obama doesn’t want to do the economy first. Obama doesn’t knwo what Obama’s stance is. He’s waiting for his 300 advisors to figure out what to say so that he can blame somebody else.

I don’t get this…
When our company was being harassed by some local government officials in a false property dispute a few years ago, our lawyers were able to save our company! If it wasn’t for them 75 people would have lost their jobs, including me!!!
Next time you get into an accident, you are injured and the big insurance companies try to screw you, tell me, who are you going to call?
Being a lawyer in most cases is a noble profession and without them in a nation of complex laws, we would all be screwed!!!

“Part of what a leader does is to instill confidence and to demonstrate that he or she knows what they are talking about and to communicate that to the people. When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television, and didn’t just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, “Look, Here’s what happened.”
WHERE IN THAT QUOTE DOES IT SAY PRESIDENT?
Franklin D. Roosevelt was Governor of New York in 1929 when he began his Fireside Chats (radio) discussing the issues of the day and his proposals for dealing with them.

So Biden is going to do all he can for the lawyers who push people to sue for ridiculous reasons, causing health care costs to skyrocket? A surgeon I know once got sued because his patient had a bit of a reaction to steri strips, a reaction that lasted only a short time. He thought he might as well just settle instead of spending the time in the court room, thinking it would cost him less in the long run. The patient got $10,000 for a little reaction! No medical malpractice, just a reaction! Yep, support those trial lawyers. Whatever would we do without them? Puhlease.

We already owe China, oh, about only one or two trillion dollars for the Iraq war fiasco. Where did we think Bush was getting the money for to pay for a war that cost billions of dollars per month and still manage to cut taxes? Bad news, we also owe the Chinese the interest.
Biden is solid. I’m more worried about having a potential president stand-in who trips up on foreign policy, plus a questionable record- Troopergate, left her town swimming in debt, claimed she was against things she was for…e.g.

1) Obama’s never run a business? McCain’s only non-governmental gig was as P.R. man for his Father-in-Law’s beer company.
2) Given what happened in Florida and Ohio, the Democrats would be fools if they didn’t have “thousands of lawyers” ready for election day…particularly given the number of Bush hacks who are running the Palin/McCain campaign.
3) At least Joe Biden speaks. Palin’s got herself confused with Angelina Jolie…waving and smiling at the nasty paparazzi and refusing to comment. The only difference is that when Angelina actually takes questions, she usually has something worthwhile to say.

The REAL concern is that the lawyers don’t manipulate and STEAL the election.
That has been the issue all along. They tried it in 2000 and didn’t get away with it….and began immediately calling their “enemy” what they were/are, liars and thiefs.
Be concerned VERY concerned when a host of lawyers decend on this election. The only guarantee will be that THEY will taint it.

Biden praises organized labor which is controlled by organized crime and he praises lawyers. That in and of itself is shocking enough, but…dare we suggest that the people keeping the barbarians at the gate are really people in uniform who fight barbarians? People like Sen McCain? Nah. It’s the lawyers! Yeah! What if Sarah Palin said that?

Everything reported as a gaffe by Biden seems to me the evidence that he is honest and rational. I find it very healthy that he doesn’t totally tow the line re. the party line. I’m sure Obama prefers an independent rational partner as well. Senator Clinton would have been the same. One of the Democratic party strengths is also one of our weaknesses. We see events and problems from multiple sides and don’t simply express one ‘talking point’ or vote as a ‘block’. We are Democratic.

When talking about the current economic crisis, Biden said that “FDR went on television” and talked to the public. Just two problems with that – FDR wasn’t President in ’29 and there were no TV’s in American homes.
Can you imagine if Palin had said this? The media would love to hammer home to us how dangerously stupid she would be as Prez. The media silence is deafening for Joe. I’ll say it again – I’m much more concerned about Joe becoming Prez than I am Palin.

Joe Biden,
Didn’t the ‘the best legal minds in the country’ get OJ acquitted? I rest my case.

I think since the media can’t interview Palin and McCain and the easier news is Sen. Joe Biden and his gaffes. Biden doesn’t help because hes speaking before he thinks.
Palin should get equal time don’t you think Jake? If you are going to continue to run Joe’s gaffes right through Nov 4th why not run Sarah’s as well? Your rating will hit the roof.

To paraphrase MrsDi….’Everything reported as a gaffe by Biden seems to me the evidence that he is not honest and irrational.’ Makes sense to me.

“Biden said that he’s “done more than any other senator combined” for trial lawyers.”
Reason #2 that I will NEVER support Joe Biden…

And people are worried about Palin being a heartbeat from the presidency?
Biden may have tons of experience but severely lacking in judgement and discipline.
Palin will grow, learn and get stronger and stronger–and Biden?

So Obama thinks McCain is losing his bearings?
McCain gives sharper answers than Biden or Obama. Biden is the one showing signs of “lost bearings”.
Maybe BO needs to keep Biden away from the press too–it’s working for Palin.

Drudge and Breitbart have also been pounding away all at Biden’s gaffes too. If the media just turns this race between Obama vs McCain into Biden’s gaffes then they may swing the election McCains way by the narrowest of margins. Somewhere Schmit’s war room is gloating today. We hope the media will help keep the focus on the presidential race on Obama vs McCain and the contrast between both parties. There isn’t much time left in this race.
Thoughts on Palin – we don’t know her and really won’t because they are keeping her away from the press. Does the UN meeting really count as foreign experience when the press isn’t there to cover what is being said? What do the majority of world leaders think of her foreign experience? Perhaps this would help the voters.

I love this guy
and America may be looking at the new little bobble and saying “Palin so fresh and exciting…miserably ill equipped but she’s so pretty and young and tenacious… let’s give her one hoot”
Biden is the guy America trusts…gaffes and all.
You see a gaffe means something when you don’t know where the person’s heart is.
America knows where Biden’s heart is.

point is no one cares about Biden’s gaffes because we know…he gets it.
He knows the factors involved backwards and forwards.
McCain acts like he does and then makes aggressive impulsive statements that are 2 out of 3 times wrong…ugh.
and Palin…well we can’t even start on that 30 second cliff notes wannabe …
when she said she was a pitbull with lipstick …was she talking about their logic?

Sure Joe Biden makes Gaffes as he allows us to see who the real Joe Biden is, always has.
I enjoy his gaffes, because he doesn’t have everything memorized. His isn’t constrained by rote answers that the campaign has tutored him on.
Joe Biden is the real thing!

Sam Deakins got it partly right. Jesus was a community organizer. George Bush was a governor. Where’s Jesus when we need him in the Temple now?

There is one party with a long and demonstrable history of vote fraud and is currently involved in registering ineligible voters. It ain’t the republicans. It is Biden’s own party. Google ACORN and FRAUD and you will find thousands of links to current stories.

Biden cracks me up, but seriously, dude. Are you trying to win on a platform of ‘LAWYERS=AWESOME’? Do you think that’s a populist platform? Huh?
Good lord. Go back to your dvd’s of FDR’s televised 1929 comments to the public about the stock market crash and leave politics to the grownups, kay?

Biden is an absolute EMBARASSMENT.
Obama’s judgment is supposed to make up for his lack of experience.
Obama’s choice of Biden shows that he lacks both.

Good grief. This is rich. They are already starting in with the election was stolen? So what do they know that none of the rest of us don’t know?
And has anybody told McCain he has won already? Yes, Biden is funny and says what he thinks…big deal.
A first grader can tell the truth also but it doesn’t make his Presidential material. That kind of thinking “don’t make no kinda sense.” (Oh Brother, Where Art Thou?”
Obama is a lightweight and Joe is goofy as fruitcake. Exactly WHO would be running the country? Uh oh, the inmates will be running the asylum…

Why do you think that Biden complementing trial lawyers is some kind of a gaffe?
I don’t get this…
When our company was being harassed by some local government officials in a false property dispute a few years ago, our lawyers were able to save our company! If it wasn’t for them 75 people would have lost their jobs, including me!!!
Next time you get into an accident, you are injured and the big insurance companies try to screw you, tell me, who are you going to call?
Being a lawyer in most cases is a noble profession and without them in a nation of complex laws, we would all be screwed!!!

When Biden misspeaks it underscores that he doesn’t have an organized, consistent, and rational thought process.

Summary, Dateline Saturday 08 NOV 08,
It is now 4 days after the votes were cast, the outcome of the election is still not clear. The Obama lead ticket looks to have lost all 50 states. DNC Lawsuits have been filed on mass to prevent Secretaries of States from certifying the election results.
Like Florida 2000 times fifty.
The DNC can not accept that the wide sweeping total defeat was anything less than a collection of criminal acts. The top of the ticket race as well as the down ballot race outcomes have left us here at Mainstream Media Inc in a state of confounded disbelief. The Libertarian Party looks to replace 45 Democrats in the next US Congress. The Republicans have won veto proof majorities in both the US House and Senate. We at Mainstream Media Inc find this to be a sad news day.
FACT or Fiction, tune in Saturday night and find out for your self

If Biden and Obama genuinely want to assure fairness in the upcoming election they should a.) insist on the restructuring of the staffs of virtually every newsroom in every media outlet in the U.S. to make up for their admitted liberal slant in editorial coverage; b.) insist that ALL absentee ballots, especially those cast by members of the military be counted and not conveniently “lost”; c.) condemn the lying filth being spewed by your supporters in the entertainment industry; and, d.) support legal and verified voter registration registration. When your party supports these actions, I’ll listen to what you have to say. Until then…..blah…blah…blah…
