Take THAT, Mr. President

Our political director David Chalian, points out that the word "nuclear" is spelled out in easier-to-pronounce form in the advance text distributed by the McCain campaign.

As in: "Terrorist states are seeking new-clear weapons without delay … he wants to meet them without preconditions."

Exactly! She sounds just like George Bush! (mean-spirited and ignorant) I really, really wanted to be impressed… I’d love to have a woman in the White House–just not this woman.

Republi-CONS : Campaign ugly. And govern even UGLIER!
That is why America is in a big mess — lack of INTELLIGENCE in leadership!
Americans are awake this election cycle.
And McCaint-bush who destroyed America are in for a rude awakening! lol
Intelligence x Time on task = Effective Experience that leads to good judgment!
Obama has Intelligence and good judgment.
McCaint has bad judgment; because he’s 90% bush disaster!

I bet the members of the DNC along with Obama and Axelrod were sitting in front of their tvs gnashing their teeth.
Michelle’s hair is probably standing straight up on the top of her head.
Howard Wolfson said she stuck the knife into him with a smile.
How much you want to bet the seat of Obama’s pants are ragged from all the holes Palin and Guiliani chewed in his butt? :D
The Bots are now calling the whole Palin family names.
Hmmmm – what they heard must have got to them, you know the truth can hurt. The sad thing (for them) is that there will be instant replays of this all week on the news.
Somewhere, Hillary is laughing…
Obama got played by the beauty queen.

Palin needed the extra help. She pronounced ‘nuclear’ wrong during her big speech at Dayton, Ohio.
Continuing in the grand tradition of BUSH, of course!
More of the same.
Can we PLEASE elect a President/Vice President who can pronounce SIMPLE words like ‘nuclear’ – words that are pronounced EXACTLY the way they are spelt?! I mean, geez. NU-CLEAR. It’s not rocket science. How dumb do you have to be to pronounce it wrong?

The news media have lost their minds (and their ethics). CBS even has a story about the boyfriend being a redneck and what was on his MySpace page. I guess families are not off limits. As usual, they’re doing Obama’s dirty work for him.
People pronounce words differently. Why don’t they ever poke fun at people like Maxine Waters who can’t say ‘ask’ properly. I’m pretty sure it’s not ‘axe’.

There were some pretty shameful, belittling moments tonight with some cheap attacks and a few outright lies. I learned nothing about policy. Instead, all I heard was why the other guy is wrong and how being a community organizer is funny. Yeah, it’s hilarious when someone works 80-hr weeks making next to nothing trying to help the most vulnerable people help themselves. When people were dying from asbestos and lead poisoning and Obama helped by getting Chicago admit to knowing about the problem and then fixing it, that was hilarious! I think like, 100 people died! Oh my God, my sides are splitting it’s so funny. People were literally told to leave bodies on the side of the road if they couldn’t afford to drive them to the morgue. Hilarious! Oh my lord Rudy–you are hilarious! Helping save lives is obviously not nearly as much responsibility as organizing bakesales in Alaska.

Great performance by Palin. She and Rudy Giuliani had me laughing several times, though I guess I should be insulted as an Obama supporter. But they didn’t strike a nerve. Every once in a while I felt sorry for this party, this tested old crowd, clinging all their hopes to their new rising star, a woman whom few of them even knew a week ago. And I remembered what I dislike most about the kind of patriotism that they showcased. It is the kind of patriotism where you get so obsessed with being American that you forget being human.
Palin really had me when she ridiculed Obama’s support for constitutional rights, even when it comes to terror suspects. Does she know any of the personal tragedies of wrongfully detained prisoners at Guantanamo? If she doesn’t, she has no bussiness being on the ticket. If she does, she is evil.
If God really guides her as she seems to believe, He will guide her back to Alaska.

It’s not media bias, they are right there in front of the cameras; the boyfriend was flown in and greeted on the tarmac by McC! If you have a pregnant teenager and you don’t wish them to be the subject of media attention then simply state that your daughter is pregnant, it’s a private family issue and let the poor girl stay at home so she doesn’t have to be splashed across the television and newspapers! Duh! Blame the media???

I can’t believe how negative this convention has been. They are not talking about what their plans are – I heard no specifics – they are just making fun of Obama & Biden & their supporters. By the way although Palin is now against earmarks, she hired lobbyists to get them for Wassilla when she was Mayor – yes she cut taxes, but she also increased the budget deficit. That is not what we need no – not with the record deficits we already have. She distorted Obama’s plans – he is going to lower taxes for everyone who makes less than $250K a year – that is 95% of the population – although it may be a larger percentage of the Republicans.

The speech was well written the delivery by a person who knew the words but didn’t grasp the intent and failed to emphasize in the proper sp[ots made a mess of what should have been a good time for her. But she did a better job than McCain would have on the same speech. The difference between Palin and Obama’s speech delivery is he writes his own so he knows exactly where he wanted his emphasis to be in those speeches. Just being able to read a speech written by others is easy knowing the writers intent is hard, as she showed. Nice lady but not ready for prime time and I don’t want her finger any where near the neuclear buttons.

I am female but I would not vote for Palin. Why:
It is not Obama or men that are making this race about “SEX”, it is the media, McCain and the American people!
Palin’s voice cannot scare terrorists off.
The media, McCain and herself are making teenage sex and pregnancy of 17 yr old KIDS/Teenagers who have not yet learnt how to wash their little knickers look like it is ok.
Palin obviously had little control over her own kids because she is NEVER home. This tells that is why her daughter has been having sex at such a young age maybe from she was 13 yrs old. Oh, she is such a good mom. yeah right.
AND yet the media attacked Jamie Lynn Spears!!
Not only that, they are using this child and her pregnancy to woo anti abortion people AND catholics….who said that she should have an abortion? Noone.
If Palin had any morals and respect, family values and good thinking for other teenagers and struggling moms, she could SHOULD have come out and apologise and say that it is wrong to have sex so young moreso be carefree enough to get pregnant. Palin, you are no role model, no family example just nothing for me to vote you in.
Women in this country are stupid and too emotional. What if mcCain gets ill again? Go ahead you dumb heads, vote for her because she is feminine. You are the ones making the election into a “Sex” thing!

Again, what happen to concerns for the economy, healthcare? Now it is all about women. McCain chose her as his last resort and not because of her capabilities. Shame! Obama chose Biden for his capabilities and not because he is a man.
McCain made this election out to be so much more about GENDER than anything else because he used alot of women. I still would not vote for them. It makes them seem so desperate.
Mothers, if you are a good mom, think about your daughters and forget your feminist emotions and racist views.
Is Sarah Palin and her family values good enough for your family and teenage daughter(s)?
What kind of message do you think this will send to teenage girls around America and the world?
They slaughtered Jamie Lynn Spears and now they are making Palin’s daughter get off the hook because she is woman running for a WH slot? Double standard America and media!!
if palin was home being a good mom, her daughter would not have been having under aged sex! It could not have started at 17. Come on people!
When moms start being real mothers, there will be little need for abortions because your daughters will wait and stop spreading their legs so easily and so young.

Focusing on trivia like that has become the real vocation of the media. Yes, the President always plays, and perhaps is the country bumpkin, and mispronouncing words is a part of that. So spelling it out for the teleprompter is wrong? Or??? I have my own reasons for not voting for Palin/McCain but it is certainly true that Obama and even Joe will have a tough time dealing with this woman who just doesn’t back down and can give as well as take.

Pronounced either way:
nu·cle·ar nyu- or, by metathesis, -kyələr/ Pronunciation Key [noo-klee-er, nyoo- or, by metathesis, -kyuh-ler]
Incidentally – EVERY CANDIDATE Has Speech writers, you liberal idiots.
Palin’s speech and her story are really the American Story – What she has that the liberal left feminists don’t is “Everything” – a loving husband, children that are the same as everyone else’s – dealing with issues that faces American families – but doing it with love, respect and dignity!!!!
She’s the real deal.

I have to disagree with the statement that Bristol Palin is pregnant at 17 because her mother didn’t spend enough time teaching her proper values.
I also know from experience that the fact she is pregnant at 17 doesn’t necessarily mean she has been having sex for many years. It does only take once, you know.
My own mother was a stay-at-home mom and made it very clear to me that pre-marital sex (at any age) is wrong. Unfortunately, that didn’t keep me from having sex at 16 years old. Fortunately, I did not become pregnant until after I was married (at a very young age).
As the mother of two children, I firmly believe it is wrong to try to “control” your children as some of you have stated Governor Palin would have done if she had been a “good” mother. It is my belief the best a parent can do is teach their children right from wrong, set a good example, and put them in God’s hands. There is no indication that Governor & Mr. Palin did anything but these things.
I also feel that Bristol’s pregnancy is a fact, and she certainly had every right to support her mother at the convention. Would a “good” mother have hidden her in shame? I think not.
Do any of you “good” parents have children that have not done something that you have taught them was “wrong” or even immoral. Again, I think not.

The only think to Really worry about debating, is, can those surronded by corrupt money, is turned Clinton from Deocrates. And seems to buy fixed records. What if Clinton, and Rick Davis, knew they could buy anybody they wanted. It Fixed McCains Record in the past. And Do not, forget how it bought, Nixons election. I am sure, that special interest groups, who have paid lobbiests, could fix any paperwork. Clinton, had bought de-regulatios, paperwork fixers, and now McCain will have to distance himself, from Rick Davis and Clinton scandels. After all, what if they try to buy Joe Biden. They made Obamas paperwork disappear before. After all, the FBI has been bought before. Those special interest groups, are still on Wall Street, and in other postistion in HIGH Government. McCain should not Debate Obama. McCain is still best friends with Clinton, and has covered up Rick Davis’ Paperwork as best as he could. The ‘Secret Government’, is still in place. We WILL remember McCain has been in Government, a LONG TIME. Imagine that McCain has MORE POWER to fix the POLLS, and FIX PAPERWORK. How Will AMERICANS, Be able to trust a MYTHICAL SECRET ILLUMINATI. The Debates should NOT go on. Fox news was Bought, by special interest groups. Watch CNN and MSNBC. How many in the Senate are still corrupt. The Republican Cocus, has been caught in Lies TOO.
So the question becomes, what happened to paperwork?
Well United America. You already Know, you can not, get into collage without a Birth Certificate, Which the Collage had on Record. Yes, I would ask WHY, it Disappeared.
WHO DE-REGULATED, the OVER-SIGHT, of PAPERWORK RECORDS? The current government, has made people disappear BEFORE. WHY? Corruption? Buy offs? Well Bill Clinton and Rick Davis, STILL has not been Questioned, in FRONT of the WORLD. Notice how FOX NEWS does NOT, show ALL the STORY. WHY?
CNN and MSNBC, has shown MORE about BOTH Canidadates. Both SHOW mistakes made, by Obama, McCain, Palin, and Biden. FOX DOES NOT. Interesting…
Are we headed, for another Flip-Flopping, Senate?
The Out of Touch, Has been Caught Lying, and Would agree, then not agree.
WHY? Why has McCain, Not Givin’ his View on the Bill? The Out of Touch Senate, DOES NOT have the answer either. CNN and MSNBC ask ALL Senate Members. None can give an answer.
Call your Senate Office, and ask Why.
Watch on CNN and MSNBC as ALL the Senators, give the ANSWERS.
Be an INDEPENDATE VOTER. NO DEMOCRAT or REPUBLICAN VOTES, VOTE UNITED. INDEPENDANT, and FAIR. Who has access to fixing Paperwork. De-Reagulaters. ‘Free Market’ means NO PAPER WORK IS WANTED. Is Wall Street Crooks Gone Yet? NO. Is Paperwork Still Being Changed? YES. What will Corrupt Wall Street do? Hide the Money for Rick Davis? Another Clinton and Davis Fannie Mae? Has Goldman Sachs been De-Regulated? NO. So WHO CONTRIBUTED MONEY? :) WE SEE THEIR PICTURES. Thanks Guys…..You Just showed the world WHY the REPUBLICAN SENATE Can NOT AGREE…. :) BOTH DEMOCRATS and INDEPENDENCE ARE ASKING FOR INVESTIGATIONS. CNN and MSNBC. Notice how ABC is Now supporting McClinton Davis?
