The Note: Polls Even, Obama Seeks Sharper Message
ABC News’ Rick Klein reports in Tuesday’s Note: He’s danced over caucuses and superdelegates, skated past two dozen debates and 19 months on the trail, rolled through Jeremiah Wright and Hillary Clinton — and a hockey mom from Alaska could be his undoing?
Eight weeks out — his lead in the polls erased (for now), the money not quite flowing the way he anticipated, women voters impressed by the newest newcomer — the weight of the race falls on Sen. Barack Obama’s shoulders.
(And your real-world alert: President Bush announces Tuesday morning that he’s pulling out 8,000 US troops out of Iraq by February.)
Yes, this period of the race has been all about Gov. Sarah Palin — but how long it lasts is going to be up to Obama. Smart political types are looking for a sharper message — one that reminds voters of the big stakes in the race, not the little items on a running mate’s resume.
(Who usually wins when a presidential candidate takes on a vice-presidential one? How does Obama take on an Obama-like phenomenon? What does it say about Obama’s support that it was soft enough to flee this quickly? What, in the end, do women want?)

All that work, gone? The new ABC News/Washington Post poll pegs it at McCain 49, Obama 47 among likely voters — inside the margin of error, but with a name we’re not used to seeing in the lead.
Inside the numbers, some shockers: “White women have moved from 50-42 percent in Obama’s favor before the conventions to 53-41 percent for McCain now, a 20-point shift that’s one of the single biggest post-convention changes in voter preferences. The other, also to McCain’s advantage, is in the battleground Midwest, where he’s moved from a 19-point deficit to a 7-point edge,” per ABC Polling Directory Gary Langer.
“It really is stunning,” ABC’s George Stephanopoulos said on “Good Morning America” Tuesday. “We haven’t seen a bigger shift among a single group in quite a long time. . . . There’s no question that these voters have a very favorable opinion of Sarah Palin. They like what they saw, they like what they heard.”
As Obama talks education Tuesday — arguing anew that he’s the change agent, not McCain-Palin — Obama’s 32-point edge on “change” is now down to 12 points.
Another key gap is closing: “For the first time since the end of the primaries, a majority of voters are enthusiastic about McCain’s candidacy, and the percentage calling themselves ‘very enthusiastic’ has nearly doubled from late August. That percentage is drastically higher now among conservative Republicans and white evangelical Protestants,” Jon Cohen and Dan Balz write in The Washington Post. “The question both campaigns are weighing is whether McCain, by hitting hard on the themes of reform and change that have been at the heart of Obama’s message, has reshaped voters’ perceptions of the two tickets.”

Sen. DeMint: GOP Race Could Go Until Convention
Obama Avoids Questions on Contraception Rule
Amazing -
“It really is stunning,” ABC’s George Stephanopoulos said on “Good Morning America” Tuesday. “We haven’t seen a bigger shift among a single group in quite a long time. . . . There’s no question that these voters have a very favorable opinion of Sarah Palin. They like what they saw, they like what they heard.”
Amazing, for what they heard was a speech written by one George W. Bush’s speech writers.
What they heard was, literally, more of the same.
BUt! What they saw was… lipstick!
It’s a shame that so many Americans are so easily fooled.

Well, not quite. They are smarter than you think they are. The recent poll has proven the point. The mask is falling and the reality is nothing but empty promises. They are tired to heard the same none-sense CHANGE and HOPE from the most negative person who wants to be GOD. It is about right time for the circus show to end.

If American women will vote for Palin, that will be shooting themselves in the foot because Palin is the contrary to our aspirations in terms of being able to choose and decide about our brain, our body and our future. Voting for a woman yes, but Palin is the very wrong choice. Do not be taken away by her one speech and the republican propaganda, Palin is Cheney and McCain is WBush, do you need 4 more years of that same failed policies? God save America from McSame and Palin.

I wish the mask would fall on his “public allies” program. Of course the media didn’t think we needed to know, but the more I research the more I am freaking out…if Obama gets elected half of us are going to end up in a boot camp for radicals…this is truly scary stuff.

L’habit ne fait pas le moine. Don’t judge the book by its cover. Yes, indeed. All the fancy show-case, all the big words simply reveal the shallowness of the content and the message is simply just that : the empty barrel makes louder noise.

Sarah Palin is generating excitement through novelty. Incidentally, all the McCain campaign’s umbrage over “sexism” directed at her is severely undercut by their own delegates wearing “Hoosiers for the hot chick” buttons, and by Rush Limbaugh (I think it was) calling her “a babe.” I guess a Republican woman who’s not Ann Coulter is something to get excited about, but this nonsense will die down. The American public should realize that this campaign IS about issues (although McCain’s campaign manager said it wasn’t. And on the issues – Iraq withdrawl, tax breaks for the middle class – not millionaires, sensible energy independence, healthcare reform, on all of these Obama has a plan for positive change – McCain is trying to pretend he’s for change but he’s more of the same.

Do you think there is a reason ABC was NOT invited to moderate debates this year?? Maybe people should go elsewhere for real information about the state of the race…
Posted by: Ray | September 9, 2008, 9:15 am 9:15 am
Typical bounce after the convention – she had one speech that incited both “bases”, right and left. So its a wash right now. I’d really like to learn more about Palin (good and bad) and am amazed at the disinterest the media has in reporting her real record rather than the supposed ‘truths’ by fanboys and haters. So far, I’m not impressed by her grasp of economic issues but then again, politicians are usually clueless anyway.
I really think that if the GOP has a chance they have got to change their stance on Palin and get her in every talk show as quickly as possible. That is, unless she really doesn’t have any more depth to her or she is crazy.

She will also ban “Controversal” book such as Harry Potter. She will send your children to join hers in Iraq. Understand hers was sent to avoid some criminal charges? Just a rumor. Any proof. What most people don’t realize is that:
1) Bad as gas prices are, they’re even worse (twice as bad in Europe) elsewhere. It’s a GLOBAL thing.
2) Unemployment has gone up to 6.1%. Guess what? In the Euozone (Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Holland, etc) it is 7.3% In the UK the downturn is the worst in more than half a century. It’s a GLOBAL thing.
Finally, GW Bush has had to deal for 2 years with a Democratic House and Senate. Bill Clinton had the luxury of a Republican-controlled Congress.

As an Obama supporter, I like the polls as they stand right now. It’s a great incentive for many to pay attention and vote. As far as the electoral standing, Obama is within the margins. Could you imagine what would happen if Obama won the electoral college and McCain won the popular vote? Now that would be exciting!!
Posted by: Shannon | September 9, 2008, 9:27 am 9:27 am
McCain and the GOP still want to play got-cha politics — Old-time Party Politics, which most Americans are weary and growing tired of. The GOP lead us into a Pretend and Fake war, the Iraq invasion. The Real war was and is in Afghanistan where Bin Ladin is hiding today. That is not change you can believe in. Most Americans want Truth and Authenticity. We don’t want to be led into a fake war for oil! We don’t want our young men and women dying for oil and a fake war that should have never been authorized. John McCain likes to say he is good on national security, yet he voted Yes to authorize the fake war the Iraq War. What we need desperately today is more honesty by our politicians in this nation instead of the politics of Got-cha, Lies and the tearing down of one’s opponent through dishonesty. The debate should be about the real issues, not pretend wars or personal attacks and or empty and false slogans because it does nothing for the day to day lives of American people.
The Republican operatives have belittled and berated Barack Obama as just speeches, however, Barack has over 20 years of experience in public service, plus a Natural Talent to organize and get things done, as evidenced by the successful running of his Campaign. Barack Obama has an innate judgment as evidenced by his speaking out against the Iraq war when it was not popular because he had the intelligence and common sense to know that the real was was in Afghanistan not Iraq. Bin Ladin did and does not live in Iraq. Barack Obama has the ability to inspire people to unite in a common cause to bring about the Necessary Changes we need today. Because if we do not unite for change, for true democracy, together we will all go down with the ship and be united anyway but in a negative way and not a positive way.
We definitely need a change in the way our politicians campaign which as to date, tears down one’s opponent through lies and dishonesty which only tears the country down and puts a bad taste in our mouths, though each candidate has the right to point out true policy differences. We should demand honesty and integrity from our politicians and stop letting them lead us down a yellow brick road of illusion, misstatements, lies and dirty political maneuvering!
Barack Obama is no ordinary man. He is not the Messiah, but he is an Old Soul or Disciple. He was born to lead and born to take humanity to a higher stage of unity and prosperity. His message has been throughout that all children are Everybody’s Children, and that we must change the “mindset” for going into wars. He tells us that in order for us to make it as a society and solve our problems, that we must stop being divisive: gays against straight, Muslims, Jews, Palestinians, Christians must unite and respect one another’s religions. That will be his greatest gift to humanity at this time — the ability to see each other as ourselves — or together we can go down with the ship. Everyday he risks his life. He is not running because he has a thirst for power. He offers up his life for his love of humanity and to its next stage of evolution. We should embrace this gift and offer up our prayers that he can finish his mission, his high calling. We must stopped being fooled by politicians who only has the best interest of their pocketbooks and big corporations and not the pocket books of everyday average citizens. It should not take 10 years for the minimum wage to be increased, there is no justification for that. That should tell you there that politicians who vote no for an increase care nothing about your day to day struggles. And you have to ask yourself “What has the GOP done for me lately”? The years when the American Dream was thriving, they were years when there was Democratic Presidents and Congress. That is the true party of the people. If we are to get back to the American dream again we must put in office that party who has always been inclusive and the people’s champion. That party is the Democratic Party.
And lastly we must not listen to those who refuse to understand the changing of the old order, and the awakening of humanity to the new possibilities. We need a complete purification of the political and economical arenas which would be of the greatest value in bringing back Americas greatness and strength.

I’m not falling for it. I don’t want four more years of the same. It so sad that even McCain/Palin are trying to steal Obama’s theme of “change”. The GOP has no class, originality or ideas.

Barack Obama made one monumental mistake in this election. His arrogance to ignore Hillary Clinton as a running mate, not even giving her the courtesy of being vetted for the post (even if he ended up naming someone else not named Hillary) is his undoing. This election would have been over after the Democratic Convention regardless of what happened at the Republican Convention. What a strategic blunder!

We know so little about Palin and how she would make decisions, what she knows about foreign policy, etc. What we do know is that she does not believe that global climate change is man-made, that she believes intelligent design should be taught in schools and that woman should not enjoy the right to choose.
The fact that she sees fit to disagree with over 90% of our scientists with regard to global climate change takes her off my list. How can we elect leaders who will not listen to scientific experts on critical issues facing our planet and potentially our survival? I believe that the reason she is so popular is that she seems to have a nice personality, a nice smile and a nice speaking voice. I don’t consider these to be important attributes of successful judgment and leadership. Wake up folks!

Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin has billed taxpayers for 312 nights spent in her own home during her first 19 months in office, charging a “per diem” allowance intended to cover meals and incidental expenses while traveling on state business.

It’s the moment of truth for Obama. Is he a Dukakis, Kerry etc. who crumbles under the usual slimey GOP smears? Or is he a Bill Clinton who counterpunches and turns it back on them, turning their own venom back on them to great effect. I do think it’s also time for Hillary to dramatically state that while Palin is a woman and a barrier breaker, she is deadwrong on the critical issues of this time and a Bush/Cheney disciple. Keep McCain as Senator and Palin in Alaska.

f) A person who has a PROVEN record of “crossing the aisle” and bipartisanship.
g) A person who is not friends with an unrepentant terrorist.
h) A person who did not refer to his faith as “My Muslim faith” before being “corrected” by the biased media.
I could go on and on…

Sarah Palin answered one question recently, having to do with the Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac bailout. She totally got it wrong. Her understanding seemed to be that these were publically funded organizations as opposed to private, stock-based companies. If this is her kind of understanding of issues, she is a dangerous lightweight.

What we are seeing is whites fleeing in panic at the prospect of having a black president.
Sarah Palin is an afterthought – Donald Duck as VP choice would have had the same effect.
Essentially, Americans are choosing to continue in the mess Bush gave them by preserving continuity rather than choosing a black first family.
The American public is not well educated, but nothing outside the irrationality of racism can explain why they would choose to elect someone from the dark ages to drive them into economic backwardness.

With the information presented to congress at the time, this was a slam, dunk no-brainer decision. I would have serious issues with the decision making powers of anyone who voted against it at the time given the world stage. The UN had failed many time, Sadam was non-cooperative, the intelligence information AT THE TIME was chilling.

C’mon folks, this is the best possible scenario for a general election. We how have a female Obama with all the trimmings; great speech, a preacher problem, an un-patriotic husband, shady past and an empty pantsuit. Hey she’s even as attractive as Obama. What more do you want?
Posted by: Dennis Francis | September 9, 2008, 9:48 am 9:48 am
You ask what do women want- We wanted Hillary Clinton. She tough, smart, and we felt like she understood what this country really needs. Obama brought this on himself. When Obama said to Hillary “I can win your supporters but you cannot win mine”, those of us Hillary supporters knew right then that he was taking our votes for granted. His ego has gotten the best of him, his ego is exactly what prevented him from even vetting Hillary for the VP job. Now he’s behind in the polls and sending Hillary and other women out to campaign for him. I have no problem voting for a black man or woman – I want to vote for the best person for the job that is not going to continue to take most of us for granted in this country like its been for the past 8 years. Also, contrary to all the pundants I, like most women, will not vote for Palin just because she is a woman.
Obama has to earn our votes- he’s the nominee. Hillary can not and should not be expected to win this election for him. He made his decisions- He said what he did. This is his doing and he must get out there and earn our votes.
Both choices are horrible- many like myself may just have to sit this one out since neither McCain or Obama seem to really get it.

I think instead of a random poll of who knows who, why doesn’t ABCnews take a look at the comments on their very own pages. I see a majority of readers disgusted by McCain and his Karl Rovian led politics that are fear mongering tactics at best. what do we expect really when the average american is fascinated with Britney which I like to call WTWNT…white trash with nice teeth. I bet half of the McCain supporters are just closet Democrats waiting to get behind the curtain and vote in privacy. If America buys into this pandering of lies, then we deserve what we get. I am wondering how the supposedly most educated country on earth can show itself to be so stupid earth. I think that media is just looking for the ratings and not really representing the truth. McCain can tell us all he wants that he is going to bring change, but if he votes with Bush 90-95 % of the time, embraces his legacy and goes to the White House for his blessing, it would be just 4 more years of this BushGOP disaster. And who knows if America would ever be able to lift itself out of a hole that deep! America was fooled twice, will 2008 be the year of the BushGOP hat trick, as they say in hockey?

Wow, I didn’t know that Obama voted with Pelosi and Reed 97% of the time. Why is Obama talking about change so much? It seems that they are pulling his strings like a puppet master.

Let’s hear substantive plans for the economic woes we suffer from 8 years of the BUSH DISEASE. Unemployment is at 6.1% inflation is highest it has been in 27 years (Govt’s own report!) the dollar is the weakest it has been ever, our national debt is $10,000,000,000,000 and growing rapidy under the CUT-TAX and SPEND Republican DRUNKEN SAILORS and we want more of the same? McSAME and McPlain are more Bushidian than Bush himself. The Repub’s answer to the debt issue is to inflate it away. Make the dollar worthless, thus raising food (and other) prices. GREAT. The retirees must love to vote for the Repubs and thus for their own demise!

Palin is out maybe 10 days and the election is over. It’s all hype the moment she opened her mouth 10 million dollars jumped into Obama’s campaign. Her 15 minuets of fame are about to fade and we will see the empty truth about Sarah.
by the way Every canidate has a speech writer. Why do liberals only talk about Palin’s?
Obama wrote his own speech
Posted by: Andrea | September 9, 2008, 9:51 am 9:51 am
What is wrong with you people?? It is extremely maddening as a Canadian to sit here and watch this going on. So, Sarah Palin’s pick by McCain has given a bump in the polls for white women voters for the GOP camp?? Think about this for a minute. Did you ever think that the pick of Palin was meant to do just that? From my seat on the couch over here, this reeks of misogynist tactics. It basically says that women are so ignorant, that they will vote for the candidate for President merely because his running mate is a woman. I guess if Hillary was Obama’s pick, all these women would be on the Dems side.
Also, let’s look at what type of person this Palin is… Mother of five from Alaska. OK, so now she is on the campaign trail in the lower 48. I don’t know of any mother who would leave her family thousands of miles away for so long. Sure she’ll ride the party line by putting her “Country First”, but in my opinion the only one that she is putting first is Sarah Palin herself. Do you not think that she should be putting her “Family First”?? Check it out, she has a 5 month old Down Syndrome baby who needs her attention now. Speaking of attention, how about the desperate cries coming from her daughter Bristol? I don’t know anyone who wouldn’t agree that her pregnancy is a plea for the attention of her mother who, rather than giving it to her, decides to vacate the home nest in quest of her career. Now that’s certainly not putting the “Country First”. Children are our future, they are first. The message that Sarah Palin is giving is quite contrary to that.
I’m sure some of you are saying that the children should be left alone in this campaign, which I agree with. However, Sarah Palin herself uses her son’s military service at every chance she gets. If she is so eager to talk about his service, certainly she opens up the discussion about other members of her family. This is called convenient contradiction and it stinks.
I watched idly by in 2004 as you guys voted for another 4 years of George W Bush and at the time it made me lose all my faith in Americans. You have the chance now to right the wrongs of the last 8 years and I deeply fear that you will again show the world that you can be duped by the Republican propaganda machine. Don’t do it!
As a Canadian I can tell you that the view of Americans in the rest of the world is at an all time low. Another 4 years of the GOP will continue this downward trend. When you think about “Country First”, think about what that really means. After all, to use an expression: “When America sneezes, the whole world gets a cold”.

“Barack Obama is no ordinary man. That party is the Democratic Party.”
You scare the s**t out of me. This is a fascinating election. I have been a fan of McCain for years noe I supported him against Bush the first time because if you actually look at voting records he has a proven history of working across the aisle. But honestly people stop looking for a savior in Washington. There will never be one. Neither of these candidate are going to save the world or destroy the world. How can we expect our politicians to reach across the aisle. They are obviously doing exactly what we want when they refuse to compromise and act like arrogant narrow minded talking heads because that is how the American people are acting.

AMERICANS DON’T CARE ENOUGH. If people are swayed to vote for McCain (he’s the one running for President, not Palin!) after seeing one empty speech prepared for Palin by Bush’s speech writer then we don’t care enough about changing this country. McCain will stoop to anything to get elected – suddenly his views are inline with the far right? Since when? Oh right…since he saw no other way of winning this election. I would have more respect for McCain if he chose a VP that is in line with his “maverick” views. Now I just see him as a desperate man who makes hasty thoughtless decisions. Give me a break! It’s another 4 more years of right-winged out-of-touch politics if you elect him into office.

Look by the middle of the week the polls will be right back with Obama with a slight lead.
ABC makes a big splash every time the polls move. They know that the movement has to do with the Convention. A week of infomercial. The difference this year is how close the two Conventions were together.
When the emotions play out the public will know what they saw was window dressing.

Outsourcing to other country’s …straight up. Foreclosures because of bad fiscal policy. National Debt skyrocketing. People, THAT IS RAMPANT SPENDING. Stop saying the Democrats will spend us in a grave. The Republicans have already done it, for three administrations. STOP THE PARTY WARS AND LOOK! This isn’t rocket science.

I am Republican and I feel Republican is doing injustice to American people by deviating from the issue based politics to talking 24/7 about Palin. I am surprised how dumb and stupid we American can become when we are moved by star power. McCain is playing negative politics by letting American talk about Palin instead of issues. He is Maveric, but what he is doing now hiding behind Palin and that is not positive.
The biggest stupidity is we are talking about VP candidates instead of Presidential candidate. Why? Can anyone explain? Palin is running for VP and not for President. It is an important duty of Media to explain to American citizen what they should focus on right now and talk something about President and not VP candidate personality.
On the other side if McCain is true hero and have guts American would love him if talk more of issue and how he will resolve them – “Heads on with Obama” and come out victorious. As of now I see that Republican are not doing good job and bound to loose.

I am stunned at the number of people here and elsewhere who don’t like their choices and say they’ll sit this one out. You act like you have only TWO choices
Why?
Vote third party! Tell the power brokers enough is enough. If you don’t live in a swing state, your vote hardly counts in this ridiculous electoral college so make it count! If we vote third party and are able to give any third party candidate 10% of our votes, it forces the repubs and dems to realize their party is over. We want our country back.
You want change? Stop bickering over the two corporate owned “no change” candidates and make your voice heard.

Asked about the findings during a briefing on Monday before the poll was published, Obama campaign manager David Plouffe told a Washington Post reporter, “Well, your poll is wrong.”

I mean, how can you let a talk show host decidce who your President will be? Or somsone so non-specific as he has been? Oh, my God – that’s ludicrous. Palin is a woman who understands – she’s what you wanted and what you asked for. And McCain has a plan – even for the first 100 days. He is for terrorists rights while supporting no rights for innocent children. Kill a baby….save a terrorist. Obama/Biden 2008
The Democrats are still the same……nothing has changed. Save a frog and an endangered maggot…..kill your kid for the sake of convenience.
When will Obama stop the war against children? If he wants to stop a war….then start there.

Where would YOU suggest we go for news if not ABC?
MSNBC perhaps? The network that had to revamp their entire election coverage crew because of vampant bias in favor of one political party over the other?
I think ABC was probably the most UNBIASED in the debates between Hillary and Obama. They were the only network that actually made Obama squirm and answer tough questions that much of the American public were wanting answers to. This is probably EXACTLY why they were not invited to participate this time.
It doesn’t surprise me that ABC landed the first Palin interview. THAT should tell you something.

The bankers, Mortgage brokers, and Real estate Salesman….crippled the banks and home loan departments running up home prices to benefit themselves. The American people bought the con hook line and sinker.
Bush wasn’t promoting lax lending standards. Greenspan was though. Greenspan deregulated everything for the Federal Reserve.
Put the blame where it belongs. Don’t spout Democratic talking points.
Bush never recieved a commission on the bad loans sold in real estate.

Hey Hilary why not blame your employer for not making enough.Your employer is the one paying you not the government.I work for a small company and make a fair living. But its easer to blame the government for everything.Sounds like a lot of people what to be run by the government( higher pay, free health care, free everything)Everyone is having a hard time but you can’t always have the government bail you out of everything. thats why we are where we are today depending to much on the government for a hand out.We need to take care of ourself.

You Know … the economy is in dungeaons, war has made lot of marks on our country already. I think Bush should be questioned as why the troops are being pulled out of iraq now. Palin she is immatured , she crucified jesus in GOP by telling lies about herself. We should support the obama for keeping the faith in truth and not lied like palin and Mccain.

The Canadian is right: image in the world is huge if we want to keep our country safe. The world is aghast at the idea of a war mongerer and a right wing extremist in the White House – again. It will be a sad day if this country doesn’t jump on the opportunity to elect possibly the most gifted (world) leader in a long time. How can you so easily dismiss Obama’s incredible education, brains, thoughtfulness, and charisma at a time when this country and the world needs it most? It would be ashame.

JD The best thing the Republican Party has done, is to tell the poor smucks to put their work for food sign in the bushes, and get a job. We don’t owe you a living. So you better strap up your shoe laces and create one real fast.
It’s called tough love.

“You have to give the Republicans credit, they never underestimate the stupidity of the American public.”
Smartest thing I read… Dems give the general public too much credit by actually discussing and explaining the issues.

Finally! People are wising up to the fact that Obama is nothing more then a preacher! And, to you women – go for Palin: Even Hillary states that Obama was very non-specific. And you should like Palin BECUASE she is not Hillary. And, if you don’t vote for her, that’s like saying that you agree to the statement that women still belong walking beihind. No way, not now, NO OBAMA! He’d be the next Carter and couldn’t lead us out of a paper bag, anyway. I know of a site with so much dirt on him it isn’t funny.

All of these Palin supports are the same fools who voted for Bush….twice.
If your thinking about voting McCaine/Palin and you voted for Bush last time around, please do your country a favor tune into American Idol instead of voting. That way you don’t have to think and you can’t screw up my country anymore.
Thanks.

maybe just maybe we are starting to pull out of Iraq because things are getting better there. but the dem’s don’t want to see that because if it is getting better there their fight over Iraq is worthless. So sad to see a party want a war to fail so bad to get what they want.True Americans i guess.

Colleen The world was against Hitler too.
And everyone stood around doing nothing about the problem for years before we had to lose 500,000 troops to settle the score.
Since Bush didn’t want a repeat of the situation….he took care of the problem early and nipped it in the bud.
You Democrats have no foresight, or hindsight, when it comes to military matters.
How about stopping your war against innocent babies if you want to stop a war. You’ve killed 45 million of them since 1973.
I think you win the warmongering prize hands down.

For all of you who are expecting the polls to revert back to the way they were last week……..
I doubt if that 20% shift in female voters to McCain is going to do a backslide that quickly.
Yeah, maybe somewhere along the way a few of them might change their minds and jump ship to Obama, but I don’t think it will be that significant an amount.
For all of the old adages about women changing their mind, it is actually men who do it more often.

Thank God we have these “super intelligent” leftists telling the general population what to think, when to vote, when to abort. Oh, and how stupid everyone is that doesn’t do what the leftists want. Mind you, leftists never were much for democracy. Think Soviet Union as the great leftist society…..that failed miserably.

Don’t think you get to keep more of your money under Obama. That is unless you never plan to be rich. That is unless you plan to financial stay where you are. That is unless you have given up the American Dream.
There is no doubt in my mind that what we say the last two weeks was marketing on both sides. Nothing that was said or presented matters from either side.
Sure is some way Pallin appears to be a prop of sorts by the republicans. Although I can easily say the same about Obama. Really the guy does not have that much experience. He comes from no where and there appeared to be this hype around him. Not from him, not from the dem base but more from the Democrat leaders. It appears to me that the DNC have propped up this guy to be their leader. The republicans to a page out of that book and did the same thing for VP.
One last point. McCain is more of a maverick than Obama. Really Obama either did not have the guts to vote, or he voted directly with Democrat leaders 97% of the time. It is the partisanship that has gotten us where we are. I will take 10% change over 3% if change is what I want. It is but not the Obama change and I am not sure if it is the McCain change that I want either.
This is the change I want. Throw things out that don’t work. I don’t care what party came up with it out with it if it is broken. Try something new if the current system does not work. If the new thing does not work throw it out and try again. Just DO SOMETHING FOR ONCE!!! Now that would be change.

McCain’s choice of the Pat Buchanon clone VP candidate is a deliberate attempt to restart the culture wars in order to do two things. First, it keeps voters’ eyes off the actual issues, like the economy, education, and health care, where he is lacking in ideas. Second, for those voters who are just now tuning in, he wants to make it a popularity contest between a random white chick versus ‘the black guy’.
McCain would rather divide the America than lose an election.
McCain first, country last.

I’m a black man , but I’m not voting for Barack because he’s part black , by the way, I’m voting for him, because I feel I have a better chance, to a better life style, with his policies, than I would McCain’s. As a registered Republican voter, my wife will vote McCain/Palini…
As a registered Republican (veteran), my son-in-law will vote McCain/Palin.

ever wonder why some country’s like Iran and Russia would love to see Obama win. Because he is a talker not a doer.He would freeze if we had to go to war to defend our country And those country’s do not want a president who would go to war to defend our country in office. They want one who will brake down our military make it smaller .That why they can walk all over us. I DON’T LIKE WAR but i sure the heck want a president that would go to war if the time came.We need to build up our military again make it stronger . Be ready for anything. Not just for war but to help with disasters that happen to protect and defend the people if need be and help in times when the people need them.Military can do good inside our borders not just outside.Military is a bad word to a lot of people but it was them who help make us free and it will be them who will help keep us free.In my heart i do not feel Obams can do that.He is like this guy who wants everyone to love him and do what he wants and if its not going his way he start shouting lier lier pants on fire. He acts like we owe him something because he’s the one.I know i will get tore down because of what i said so go for it. I’m a big person won’t hurt my feelings. But Freedom does come at a cost sometimes with lives and some times with defeat.

Sarah Palin divise and extreme?
Not from where I sit…
Sarah Palin has, in fact, energized and united the Republican party…
Ssrah Palin represents someone who is not afraid to take establishment corruption, even when it is within her won party, as John McCain has done many times…
While some of Sarah’s views differ from mine, we also share positions on many issues including 2nd ammendment rights and right to life…
On the other hand, two of the three most liberal, far-left Senators in the United States are on the same ticket…
The Socialist duo and their counterparts in the do-nothing, Democrat controlled Congress…Pelosi, Reid, Kennedy…
Now, there is some extremism and division…
And, the questions about Old Joe Biden, his ties to MBNA, the financing of his multi-million dollar estate, and his son, Hunter, continue…

Hey Will, you’re out to lunch if you want Palin to have the nuclear football. Obama went to Iraq and produced a timeline for US troop withdrawal. He’s been calling for more US troops to Afghanistan, which today Bush belatedly and partially realizes has been true, but McCain was claiming 3 years ago that mission was accomplished in Afghanistan. Hey, under these Republicans for the last 8 years Russia and Iran have greatly increased their power and influence, and you want people to believe they deserve another chance? Next time there’s a crisis, McCain will have to ask ‘what’s my position on that, again? Uh, I’ll have my people check on that and get back to you.’ Obama knows his position, and it’s in more accord with what our military commanders and foreign service officers would advise than McCain’s seat-of-his pants approach.

Perhaps Obama should spend a little time learning about his running mate, Old Joe Biden…
While you are considering the integrity of the candidates, consider this comment about Old Joe Biden:
“Family,
I feel an obligation to honesty and truth to share with you some facts.
My Father and Mother instilled in me the values and morals of treating people fairly and always being honest.
If you purchase something, you pay for it. If you borrow something, you give it back.
I have been ‘stiffed’ three times in my 30 year professional career by someone who I rendered services to, gave a finished product to, but who refused to pay for those services even though they acknowledged the services and products were correct, were what they asked for, and were never challenged for not being correct.
I am lucky in having only three, but those three hurt badly.
Joe Biden was one of those people.
I worked on his 1988 Presidential campaign financial disclosure engagement.
I busted it for him and got everything right.
He stiffed me for over $15,000 worth of work.
He refused to pay once he dropped out of the race.
I did similar Capitol Hill campaign financial disclosure work for Bob Dole, Pat Buchanan, and a Democratic candidate for Ambassador to New Zealand.
All of those folks paid even though they lost the election or did not get the appointment.
That type of work is very demanding and very tedious because your efforts are scrutinized by Congress.
Biden did not care.
I am on the Board of Directors of a company that owns a majority position in a private jet management company in Northern Virginia.
They manage jets for businesses and rich folks.
They also charter planes to the public.
This past winter John Thompson chartered over $250,000 worth of air time.
He paid every penny.
Joe Biden, in his latest unsuccessful run for President, chartered over $150,000 worth of air time.
He PAID ZERO.
He continues to refuse to pay stating his race is over and he is out of money.
He never once complained about his flights.
Joe Biden is a rich man.
He could pay.
Joe Biden is a liar and a cheat.
I know it first hand.
Character is what life is all about.
Joe Biden is a man of bad character and sets a bad example for America.
I feel compelled to share this dark side of a man who asks for your vote and trust.

Adventures in Irony: Joe Biden’s Role as Obama’s Segregationist
On Sunday’s “Meet the Press,” Sen. Joseph Biden made a series of stunning arguments in defense of his plan for segregation of Iraq along ethnic and sectarian lines.
Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, who called on the Iraqi parliament to meet and formally reject the Biden plan, immediately went on Iraqi television with a blistering statement: “[Biden] should stand by Iraq to solidify its unity and its sovereignty . . . [He] shouldn’t be proposing its division. That could be a disaster not just for Iraq but for the region.”

I think the main thing to consider is we’re all Americans and we all want the same thing- a better country and a better world. We’re all patriotic and we want the best for our country and our families. That being said, let’s remember to look at the issues, be objective, not adhere to hype that is being fed and perpetuated by either side of two campaigns. Look at the issues, the meat of the speeches. Don’t try to support one side you already feel inclined to vote for– try to support the candidate who you feel is the better, regardless of their political affiliation. Also remember that catty remarks don’t help propel your cause or reflect well on your opinions. Also we should keep in mind that we don’t have ultimate control over the outcome. If you can tell which political party I’m affiliated with due to the tone of my neutral letter (considering you don’t find it offensive, ignorant, or unintelligent) maybe that says something? The most important thing to not lose sight of through all of this is that we are all humans and we are all one.

Obama’s smear machine is out in full force now. Voters know he can not be the SAVIOUR he claims to be but he will lie and distort to try to win. He thinks babies should be killed because they are an inconvenience and that continued self-irresponsibility is OK. Only 1% of abortions are from rape and incest, the rest because the girl/woman did not say NO. Obama does not have more experience in any field than Palin who is running for VP, not President.
And I agree that all kids should have a good education but one group should not get more money or benefits than another. Taking from one school district of working people and giving it to a district of irresponsible parents is hardly American. Neither is the affirmative action laws on the books. All American kids should have the same opportunities regardless of race, gender or cultural differences.

You’re paying high prices to get to and from work because Republicans aren’t supporting any efforts to get off of oil! Drilling won’t even help because the oil won’t be available for another 15 years!

I love america and it’s xenophobic and ignorant population. Sarah & john are exactly what america deserves! I can almost visualize them singing Bomb Bomb Bomb Iran while the rest of the world unites against us – not that we care, anyways.

“euro.guy” is a perfect example of why immigration should be squelched to a trickle. No one needs Arabs/Muslims in Europe who call themselves “euro.guys”.

Cut to 2012 for the presidential elections – Sarah’s the prez, the old geezer is out of the way in a hospital and guess who’s the VPOTUS? Jeb Bush of course! you know why? because of his vast foreign experience due to the close proximity of Florida and Cuba!
I love this country – we elect the crazies and then lie/bully/steal/bomb our way out of everything by calling ourselves a great country! In case our frog in the well population has not noticed, the rest of the world is forming new alliances.

If everyone would just check their egos at the door, the user comments on this and other news Websites would cease to exist. Underlying everyone’s responses is fear. Fear that your candidate won’t win come Election Day. Fear that you’ll be wrong and the dissenters will be right. Fear that the winning candidate will enact policies that will lower your perceived sense of self and quality of life.
Politicians prey on this fear because it secures them votes. And as recent history has demonstrated, it doesn’t matter if what a politician says is based on facts or is pure distortion. One needs to look no further than campaign attack ads on TV, which seemingly bludgeon viewers with wild rhetoric and fear mongering. Are YOU lying awake at 3 a.m. for that phone call?
I can assure you that your sense of reality is illusory…and just as illusory as those attack ads. No matter who wins in November, collectively as humans we will continue to suffer on this planet. No one person or one party is going to solve your perceived ills or those of this world.
Contrary to the meaning of change that now both campaigns are using, true “change” begins with you. It may begin with you recognizing your need to be right and to make others wrong. It may begin with you noticing the labels that you place on everyone and everything. It may also begin with examining your belief that life should be a certain way rather than the way it actually is. Ultimately, true “change” means awakening from a lifetime of unconscious behavior patterns that have enslaved us all in human suffering.
99% of you that read this will think me a raving lunatic. As I have said, we are all quick to apply labels, thereby diminishing anyone who does not fit into our “way of thinking.” For those of you who have reserved judgment, seek out the works of Eckhart Tolle. Only through the insanity that is the human ego will user forums like these be little more than breeding grounds for fear and loathing. That is after all what the candidates (and their supporters) want: to push your emotional buttons. And if you’ve already posted a comment here or elsewhere, then consider your buttons pushed.

What’s the difference between the speech Palin gave and what Bush would have given?
Lipstick
That does not mean, however, that the American public is smart enough to see through the packaging.
PT Barnum: No one ever went broke underestimating the American Consumer.
They elected Bush once already, didn’t they?

Who is Sarah Palin really? What does she want to do for us? Other than that she makes a good speech and looks very poised and confident, I do not know anything about Sarah Palin and what she wants to do for us. Only things I see are a bunch of gossips that have no basis (or maybe there are some truth, but too many that I can not judge anymore).
Yes, I like her first impression. I am excited to see a woman like that. So I believe a lot of women just responded that way. But once they stand at the voting, they will think about policies. Who will take care of my family healthcare? Who will help the education for my children? Who will help me to keep my jobs? Who will help my retirement which I am struggling to save for?
Hillary said No McCain and No Palin. She is the one I trust who truly stands for women of middle America. I hope Obama will come around to speak to us better.

THE SCENE: BILL and HILLARY CLINTON’S bedroom at 3:00 a.m. It’s warm, welcoming and done in classic American Country style. Photos of friends and family cover every surface, and their various awards and commendations hang on the walls. BILL and HILLARY are asleep in bed. Both are wearing her black t-shirt with the white writing and pantsuit picture on it. Next to each CLINTON is a bedside table with a red phone on it. The phone is modern, with caller ID.
The red phone next to HILLARY’s side rings. Both CLINTONS sit up in bed immediately.
BILL: Yours, or mine?
HILLARY: Mine. (checks the caller ID) Oh, well well well. It’s DNC Headquarters in Chicago.
BILL (grinning devilishly): Heh. I’ve been waiting for this one. Put it on speaker, honey.
(HILLARY picks up the phone and hits the speaker button.)
HILLARY: Hello?
BARACK OBAMA (on the phone): Hey there, Hillary. Sorry to call you so late, but I’ve had a really hard time getting you on your cell lately.
HILLARY (rolling her eyes at Bill): Uh-huh. Gosh, sorry about that, Barack, but I’ve been busy trying to stop President Bush’s latest outrageous blow against contraception and choice. I figured since you didn’t pick me for Vice President, and I’ve already said my piece about Sarah Palin, our business together was concluded until after the election.
BARACK (uncomfortably): Well, um, uh, see, I think I, uh, still need your help.
HILLARY (leaning back into her pillow, starting to enjoy herself): Oh, really?
BARACK (even more uncomfortably): Yeah. Uh, see, it looks like Palin’s not the cream puff I thought she was. We went after her with everything we had for six days, and she just came out smelling like a rose. The conservative base loves her, and – and – she was MEAN to me, Hillary! (He is barely suppressing tears of frustration)
HILLARY (with malicious pleasure): All true, Barack. So, what do you want ME to do about it?
BARACK (suddenly angry): I want you to STOP HER! I want you to go out there and take that mooseburger eatin’, rifle-shootin’, baby-makin’ FEMALE DOWN!!!
(A slight pause. Then, HILLARY begins laughing. She laughs for a long time.)
HILLARY (finally calming down): Why in God’s name would I do that for you, Barack? What possible benefit would there be to me? Here’s an idea: Do it yourself. And stop calling me!
BARACK (to the others in the room): Guys, she said no. I told you she would! NOW what do I do?
PELOSI (who is there with BARACK): Don’t worry, Barack. Let ME talk to her.
BILL (chuckling): Oh, this is too good. They’re pulling out the big guns now!
PELOSI: Hillary, dear? It’s Nancy.
HILLARY: Yes, Nancy, what can I do for you?
PELOSI: Look, I understand why you would be reluctant to go after this woman. But we are prepared to offer you….compensation.
HILLARY: Oh, really? (She and BILL exchange knowing looks.)
PELOSI: Yes indeed. We see now what a horrible, horrible mistake we made picking Joe Biden instead of you for Vice President. We can remedy that any time you want, Hillary – even tomorrow, if you wish.
HILLARY: Ah. (enjoying their humiliation and prolonging it as long as possible) And Joe’s okay with this?
PELOSI (grimly): He will be, if he wants to keep being a Senator.
(HARRY REID joins the call.)
REID: Hillary, it’s Harry. I guarantee Joe’s on board.
HILLARY: Well, this is all very interesting. Let me think about it for a moment. (pauses a millisecond, looks at Bill, grinning) NO.
PELOSI: Hillary, what are you saying? You can’t desert your Party in its time of need!
HILLARY (happily): Bill, you want to explain it to them?
BILL: Absolutely. (BILL moves over to HILLARY’s side of the bed, so those on the phone can hear him more clearly) NO!!!
HILLARY (laughing): Ah, Bill, you kill me! No, seriously. Let’s lay it out for them. Here’s the problem, folks. You already made your choice. It sucked, if I may be so blunt. You should have allowed me to become the nominee and let Barack be VP. As Palin has so amply demonstrated, he is barely even qualified for that position.
BARACK: HEY!!! You guys aren’t going to let her get away with talking to me like that, are you?
PELOSI and REID: Shut up, Barack.
BILL: Yeah. And if Hillary wasn’t going to be the nominee, at LEAST she should have been Vice President. It would have been the smart thing to do, politically and emotionally. (starting to get angry and red in the face) But no, you just couldn’t do it, could you? You’re a bunch of self-serving, short-sighted idiots! Didn’t you realize how you were breaking the Party in two? Don’t you care at all about the future of our country?
(A stunned silence from the phone, while HILLARY looks at BILL with pride in her eyes.)
PELOSI (recovering, smoothly): Bill, you’re absolutely right. That’s what we’re trying to fix now. We get it, we really do. What do you say? Don’t you want to be back in the White House, as the husband of the first female Vice President?
HILLARY (patiently): Nancy, don’t you get it? IT’S TOO LATE. You’ve made your decision. If you change your mind now, it will just make Barack look even weaker and less decisive than he already does.
As for Sarah Palin, I respect her. I think she’s a strong, powerful woman. I don’t agree with her on the issues, of course, but I’m not going to stoop to sexist bullshit to try to stop her.
You’re on your own, kids. Lose this number and don’t call me till after McCain wins the election. By the way, I’m voting for him – and so is Bill. Buh-bye, now! (presses speaker button to hang up)
BILL (grinning): That was even better than I thought it would be. Great job, honey!

there would be no need affirmative actions laws in place if ALL americans were treated the same, with the same opportunities regardless of race, gender or cultural differences. However, in the REAL world and in most cases, you are looked at differently if you are a minority, or a women, or even overweight or even what they may consider unattractive. I cant tell you how many times I have seen or experienced it, how many times my heart was crushed by double standards and laws that go after those who do not know any better. I work in the legal field, I see it on a DAILY basis.
I wish we didnt need it, but even reading through some of these blogs, lets you know that racisim still exist
on all sides (not just the white americans) but on all sides, its to bad though….BUT IT IS REALITY

Sarah Palin is a nitwit and the proof lies in her religious belief system.
1. She will REQUIRE your 12 yr old daughter to have a baby even if she gets pregnant thru the rape of a pedophile.
2. She believes that the war in Iraq has been ordered by God to inflame the middle east, drawing Isreal and the U.S. into a global conflict called ARMAGEDDON. She also holds to the teaching that there will be GOSHEN territories where the faithful can flee for safety. Alaska is, of course, is one of these territories.
3. She believes she can pray things into existence.
4. She believes that unless you have babbled in tongues you are not a true Christian.
5. Anyone who has to reach as far back as being the brief president of the PTA to prove they can “run” the country has a resume too short to be a heart beat away from being the President of the U.S.
6. Remember John McCain has suffered from the deadliest form of skin cancer known to man. The average life expectancy with this cancer is 10 years. This is year 8 and he has already had an additional episode of cancer. He is going to die. We all are going to die but he is going to die sooner rather than later.
Do we really want this manipulating, lying, ignorant woman to be president just because she is attractive?
Not on your life.

Damn you eruopeans either have a short memory or are the most ingrateful bunch of snobs on the planet. I think the Iraqi’s are more grateful for their freedom and most of them don’t even want us there. And I HATE to be the one spew the obvious but why do you always need reminded that every time Germany would rise up, decided all of europe needed to speak German and have it’s way with you, who was there? Who helped Europe get up, brush off the dirt, pick the leaves out of her hair and help her find her panties in the weeds? Who pumped billions into your economy rebuilding? Who then answered the call and pumped even more billions into your economy to make sure that this time you wouldn’t have to learn to speak Russian? Who has protected you from the bully on the block everytime he picked a fight with you? I don’t expect europe to be unequivacably in-debted to the USA but… when we have tough times and you pretend that never happened and you can’t wait to dogpile on us becuase it’s popular to do so is slap in the face to any American who sacraficed to make sure you can be snobbish and elitist today. We very easily could have taken the position to just contain the Germans or the Russions or whoever when they reached your western coasts. Dare I say the opposite wouln’t be true?

Better yet, go blow on an alphorn and suck on a cough drop. My grandpa’s brother was killed in the Ardennes but you are right I didn’t defend you because I wasn’t born yet but don’t count on me to be as generous as they were. Your “neutrality” only stood because Germany was busy with everyone else. You think we are foolish? Your whole country thought that even if all of europe fell you would still be safe because of the mighty power of the pen. Thats why you stood by and watched your neighbors fight for you. So I can see where you get your view of the world from. You let everyone else fight so you don’t have too.

Obama does nothing but read from a teleprompter, an equally well prepared by someone else speech. Sarah didn’t have the help of a teleprompter she had to do it the old fashioned way because the teleprompter wasn’t working. Not sure when it failed but nicely delivered. She like Obama is a good orator… but if you are going to knock her for reading a speech… you have to knock Obama for doing the same thing, after all it’s all he’s done.

Glad you can state your “Opinion” and agree with blogging rumor mill, but the facts are quite different.
Doesn’t take long folks, be responsible and look for some transcripts and interviews, not hearsay and extrapolation on what might be meant from what someone thought they heard their cousin say to that guy…
All but point 6 that you listed are personal beliefs that may or may not be true, I didn’t find any quotes to verify 1-5 as fact. You could make those judgements based on some very very VERY loose interpretations of other quotes she has made, particularly of personal beliefs on abortion she holds. However in the time she has been governor she has not even made an attempt to make abortion stricter in alaska through state regulations and laws. Just like she has not made any attempt when either mayor or governor to introduce creationism in school as a field of study. What she said specifically is that she supports the idea of allowing students to have that debate, which educationally speaking is a great idea. Particularly since the General theory of evolution is no more provable than the theory of creation. Having the debate then lets the mind wrap around all sides of the issue which is a responsible and healthy practice.

We just watched the evening broadcast on ABC and my son(17) turned to me and pointed out that most of the coverage on the political race was on Sarah Palin and all the women that have changed their vote for her (before she even says a word that has not been scripted for her, I might add!). Until the media begins to point out all the lies and distortions the McCain/Palin ticket is telling about Sen Obama (which we already know is written by skilled speechwriters using the Rove playbook), the general public will buy all they are selling. Why can’t the media point out lies when they hear them instead of pointing out hype? What happened to issues, and what happened to McCain? He is not even getting the coverage, and the last I knew he was the one running for president! Let’s begin to have a little more balance and more honesty in the coverage, folks! mtr2311, what do you really know about Palin?-The change that McCain wants is to bash the intellectuals and any one that has European ideas[ap].Maybe you look different “foreign” I believe is the code word, your not a hockey mom ,soccer mom, NASCAR dad, you live in a city and your educated, you have a world view and think it takes a village to help raise your family,-ie schools, extended family, neighbors, friends, then your some how bad or on the fringe maybe even evil, dose that not give you that warm fuzzy feeling? Well be afraid very afraid. The right wing “Conservative” brings something else to mind,Germany a wounded war veteran who wrote a book and was a God fearing right winger who found his country receptive because of their plight after a bitter war and bad economic times. The intellectuals, the educated, foreigners, ones that were liberal, and folks that didn’t “share their values” NOT LIKE US. The Jews fit the bill, different religion, businessmen, intellectuals, liberal, not like us- them. This right wing conservative group with it’s leader invoked Gods name and went on a crusade to right many perceived wrongs and to settle old scores. The church blessed them and their weapons and they went out in Gods name to make the world in their image and well you know the rest.Fiction? Not hardly religion has no place in politics.there is a reason for separation of church and state It seems that to be a Christian now we have to wrap our selves in the flag and if you don’t you’re bad,or unpatriotic, un American. But if You are a true Christian the Christ said give Caesars things to Caesar, and that His Kingdom was no part of this world he was not involved in politics. You don’t have to be a Christian to be a patriot or pick up a gun or join the military to be a patriot , just like wrapping your self in the flag and the bible makes a bad person good or a patriot because it doesn’t. That man in Germany was wrapped in his flag and the bible and was blessed by the church was he a good man? I guess not but his followers thought so they were convinced by the dogma of the crusade and that evil was across the street, next door, the next country, folks not like them, and if those evil doers were dehumanized they were-are easy to kill. Reading the comments of this ( white trash euro.guy) felt embarrassed by his frowning toward the STATES that was despicable and for that matter unmotivated. Assumedly this guy was really a Swiss; most Swiss and Europeans are rational minded + know that the great USA liberated Europe from the yoke of NAZI CRIMINALS Et ALL i.e. by giving huge financial support and freedom! (This’s an historian fact and not an individual opinion.)
Long Live the GREAT USA and best to come for their next PRESIDENT!

As an ordinary every day European citizen seems quite difficult comprehend this bitterness like between Democratic Party vs. Republican Party presidency & vice-presidency seeker; plus huge amount spend that may reach a grand total of $half a billion…when a citizen from Winchester Virginia ,to name an example, earn a salary hardly $ four per hour less taxes. I’ad recently red an article by Wall Street Financial News Paper, that 2% of tree-hundred-millions USA population (last census) control 84% overall USA wealth, (Gevernment non included) that indicate the remnant (98% of USA population), has been left with only 16%. I’m not an economist, nonetheless as an ordinary farmer can see this’s scandalous + atrocious disparity, i.e. : The rich become richer and the middle class becoming poorer and the poor becoming sub-poorest, this it self may call for troubles onwards! Reason most Americans are requesting radical change! Next President of the GREAT USA will be: Mc.Cain & Sarah Palin! (non-proofed)
Thanks for the space

so is saying the great black dope “danced” through the primaries one of those msm racist code words?
let’s face it, the mao-bama sinks lower every time he opens his maw.
he’s attacking the bottom of the repub ticket now because he knows he’s in trouble, but sarah is gonna rip him a new one, again. and his fragile islamo manhood can’t take it—-Christian my a55……………
even biden is preparing to bail on the landslide loss.

If Obama wins, those of us with jobs will have to move to another country. Let all the freeloaders figure out what to do when the working people are taxed at 80% and tell the libs enough is ENOUGH and just leave.

Hi Love Godess! ..Do you think move to another Country, will do better? Just because you are frustrated doesn’t mean you got the answer! What you have left…if so…is only a burst of anger! Keep cool! Seems to me that the great USA is going presently through a “misfortune” and their citizens are perceptive to this omen!
Good luck to you and long live USA!
An European citizen!
Thanks for the space.
