Biden has ALWAYS put family first, even to the point of making it a practice in his office that he was always available to his sons, no matter what he was doing, after the death of his first wife. That deserves respect.

even say one kind word of comfort to another human being who is undergoing a personal tragedy. I think that is what characterizes both Obama and Biden and distinguishes them from Mc Cain and Palin as the latter never have a good thing to say about the Dem candidates, but the Dems on the other hand congratulated and cheered the other guys by agreeing on some points and agreeing to disagree on others.
