Biden Continues South Florida Assault on McCain

ABC News’ Matthew Jaffe reports: Democratic vice-presidential nominee Joe Biden continued his rip-roaring return to the campaign trial Friday with more attacks in Florida on the Republican ticket’s ties to the Bush administration and their diversionary tactics.

"They hurt every single American, these false and baseless charges," Biden said. "These accusations are merely an attempt to get you to take your eye off the ball, not focus on what’s actually going on in this country. Look, beyond the attacks, what is John McCain really offering in this campaign? Well the truth is, what about the last eight years?"

Biden, who has repeatedly dubbed McCain “Bush 44”, then referenced Bush 42 in his evening address to a raucous crowd of 4,000 packed into the gymnasium at Ft. Myers’ Florida Gulf Coast University.

“Ladies and gentlemen, look at me. To quote an elder Bush, read my lips, we will end this war. We will end this war!" he exclaimed as the audience rose to their feet.

The Delaware lawmaker, mirroring his remarks this morning in Tampa, focused on the economy, saying that many Americans have been "in an economic hell" during the Bush administration.

“You’ve gotta know where you’ve been in order to know where you’re going," he said. "And for an awful lot of people, they’ve been in an economic hell for the past eight years. An awful lot of people are in real trouble. And as Barack says, it’s not enough just to get us out of this economic crisis. We need a wholesale, fundamental change in our economic philosophy. The last eight years have been an abject failure. An abject failure!”

As he has done repeatedly in recent weeks, Biden attacked McCain’s healthcare plan, citing the Republican nominee’s recent article in “Contingencies”, leading to a Bidenesque ad-lib when a baby in the crowd started crying.

“He said, quote, “Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done in the last decade in banking, would provide more choices for innovative products and less burden by the worst excesses of state-based regulation", said Biden, before then stopping to acknowledge a crying baby in the crowd.

"I don’t blame that baby for crying, I don’t blame that baby for crying because I’m crying," Biden pointed out. "That child knows what he’s crying about.”

The senator put an exclamation point on his argument that McCain’s healthcare plan is “cockamamie” by emphasizing that the president of the Business Roundtable even criticized it, a group "not traditionally…the biggest fans of Democrats."

“It’s not just Democrats and Independents who think that John’s healthcare plan, to use my grandfather’s word, is cockamamie," the senator stated. "Even business leaders, they don’t love this plan either. They’re worried that the private marketplace isn’t ready and that John’s plans will in fact hurt what they refer to as their workers."

"And I’m quoting, “One of the things we don’t want to do is jeopardize 175 million Americans who get insurance through their employers"," Biden said. "And that’s not coming from me, that’s coming from the CEOs of the largest corporations in America about John’s plan."

"John, take a look at your plan," Biden pleaded. "Take a look at your plan. Even your own guys ain’t crazy about it, John.”

tell me about it!! we are being bombarded with ads..
But, as McCain said back in 2000:
“I just have to rely on the good judgment of the voters not to buy into these negative attack ads. Sooner or later, people are going to figure out if all you run is negative attack ads you don’t have much of a vision for the future or you’re not ready to articulate it.”
He is showing he has no vision.

Uh Joe why have you Barack, Nancy (Pelosi) and Harry (Reid) done what you were elected to do and END the damn WARS… Instead of expand them to more countries and leave us with open borders and NO ONE left t odefend them from those who, just might do us harm??? C’mon Joe, you can duck meeting with the finacier of a hijacker on 911 but you can’t duck this! It’s time for answers Joe!!!

Nice Joe!Great to have you back!
Keep hitting them on the issues! They have NO PLAN, NO SOLUTIONS, and NO VISION!
All the have is low brow smears.
Americans need leadership and McCain and Palin offer absoliutely nothing.
We certainly don’t need an eratic short sighted individual and a sarcastic speech reading parrot like McCain and Palin.

RACHEL,
You are absolutely correct!
In tha past week Obama has run 36% negative ads….McCain 100%!!!!
Obama/Biden offer a chance for middle class America. A positive vision for the future.
McCain and Palin are just rolling in the mud and using smear tactics.
It’s all they’ve got. They know they’re out classed.

I love Joe Biden. He’s just soooo much better than Palin! Joe tells it like it is. Palin tells it like she’s been told to tell it.

Joe Biden lost all credibility with me when he lied and said the truck driver that killed his wife and child had been drinking. No such thing! There were no charges whatsoever. Biden’s wife wondered into the intersection.

The Think Tanks that has studied Obama’s health care plan say it is good for the insurance companies, bad for the patients. No insurance company should be forced to approve coverage for people who are really ill with cancer, heart problems. It is as stupid as people getting homes mortgages they can not pay for because the Democrats and minories demanded it. It is another plan for disaster and we all pay dearly. Obama offers NO SOLUTIONS whatsoever for the real world.

LOOK FORWARD Senator McCain. Too much effort attempting to discredit your opponents (with sometimes half truths). Remember, we’re listening to help ourselves decide who’s going to be our next President. Think LEADERSHIP!!!!!! http://www.LikeSoup.com

What McCain doesn’t get is that people are SICK of this election. They are SICK of negative ads. There is only so much we can take! How many people are really going to sit through one of these attack ads? We are tuning the ads out and turning them off. Enough is enough!!
And here is the man who promised he wouldn’t wage a negative campaign? Jeez Louise. Right. Like we are really going to believe anything he says NOW? HA!

Nat Turner imposter… your desperation is desperately showing…will the REAL Nat Turner please stand up?
haw!
btw, fyi , the loan companies LIED AND DECEIVED the gullible public to take on loans they knew would probably or likely have problems ,and the scam was to repackage the bad loans and sell them to the financial sector.
all of this was UNREGULATED TO A LARGE DEGREE ,MOSTLY BECAUSE OF REPUBLICAN MAJORITY LED LEGISLATION THAT WAS RAMMED DOWN THE THROAT OF THE AMERICAN CITIZEN FOR YEARS ,SINCE REAGAN AT LEAST.
its pretty clear to most objective observers that republicans are true scum ,and about as low as a snakes belly in a wagon rut. their agenda is pathetic and blatantly aligned to serve the rich and elite ,and they themselves are generally dangerously unstable (eg;esp. palin..shudder!) and untrustworthy ,politically AND socially.
in a word…LOSERS!

Palin and McCain are beyond pathetic. What’s worse are the people who are supporting them. Eveyone has a right to support whomever they choose but the republican ticket is a joke. Vote with your head people. Brarack Obama and the Democrats didn’t put us in this mess, Bush/McCain and those neo-con nut jobs did. You need to ask yourself “what the he** happened”?

Posted by: s jones | October 8, 2008, 9:49 pm 9:49 pm

I would so swallow Joe Biden’s cum in order to end the economic crisis. JOE HOW ABOUT ITM??? My lights are off due to the economic hardships (SCANDAL) that plagues US Americans. Also, I have no hot water to bathe in. Stifle the grief (or joy, after this is a mother-in-law) and hit the campaign trail and rip Pallin a new ass-hole. BUT….please choose the time to attack carefully. Palin is like Hitler: unpredictable, scarily influential, etc. All the bad things that good politicians fear. Ia any case, “rotsa ruck.”

Posted by: T-Bone | October 8, 2008, 9:50 pm 9:50 pm

Sarah Palin likes to refer to herself as a pitbull. A pitbull is not a naturally agressive dog, they have to be trained to be that way, just as Palin is saying what she is told to say.

Posted by: Gay Watson | October 8, 2008, 9:50 pm 9:50 pm

Give me a break. You can’t possibly want a continuation of the past horrible 8 years. McBush is merely repeating the crazy lines that dimwitted Bushlite has been throwing out to us since 2001. The guy is 72 years old. Doesn’t have the energy to engage in a competitive game of checkers. I’m not thrilled about the other option of Obama but between the two I don’t think you have any choice but to go for Obama. I believe the country is screwed no matter who we place in the White House.

Posted by: David | October 8, 2008, 9:52 pm 9:52 pm

Right on Joe! Stick it to these lying scumbags and their hate filled speeches used to cover their utter lack of ANYTHING TO SELL. Their pathetic plans tossed like so many dice from McSame’s pocket, trying to pick up some points as he lies his way to the top.
They can say all they want about Ayers and Wright, but those two people don’t scare me a bit! What scares me and millions of other Americans is even the thought, of this angry little warmonger, and the taliban woman getting anywhere NEAR the White House.
Keep fighting the good fight Joe. I would have voted for you for President. With Barack Obama, you are definitely a formidable team, and all of US are behind you.

The great GOP brainwashed crowd like Nat Turner are hilarious. No matter what goes wrong its Obama and the Dems to be blamed.
Reminds me of the McCain ad at the beginning of the campaign where he blamed Obama for high oil prices.
Turn off the Fox News and think for yourself….if that is even possible!

Posted by: politicaleye | October 8, 2008, 9:55 pm 9:55 pm

Obama was wrong when he said energy is the highest priority. More Americans are going bankrupt and foreclosing due to high healthcare costs. Obama has a lousy healthcare plan, too.. maybe he realizes it, and didn’t want to talk about it. McCains response that we need to fix all the top issues simultaneously, not one at a time, was
very astute, as well.

This drivel that republicans are trying to trot out that it’s the borrowers fault that the mortgage business is bad is just more of the same, blame the victim for dressing too provacatively.
Greed doesn’t make you take out a loan. Greed makes you lend so you can then reposess and re-sell. Mortgage brokers realestate agents, false appraisers the list goes on were paid commisions to put people in these homes and “drive” the economy. Well they drove the wheels off and now you want to blame the borrower. You Repugnicants just don’t get it.

obama will be a great leader ,somewhat like jfk i think.he is still a little green but ,bush jr wasnt? what a moron ,he gets ALL his advice from advisers ,he couldnt make an executive decision past what shoes to wear,if that. obama can and will use advisers heavily too, but he is more independent thinking and more confident than bush (or mccain),and that is what is needed in a leader,in the usa or anywhere.
when he makes it into the oval office this country can maybe return to some semblance of its former self, fair ,tolerant , respectful and respected.
the republicans and their days are fading fast like a bad dream ,anything non republican will be better and an improvement in all ways and so vote with pride . and please dont handcuff this democratic president and his much needed agenda with republican detractors and hindrances, they are clearly foot draggers and naysayers of the top level….

Obama/Biden vs McCain/Palin, what if things were switched around?…..think about it.
Would the country’s collective point of view be different?
Ponder the following:
What if the Obamas had paraded five children across the stage, including
a three month old infant and an unwed, pregnant teenage daughter?
What if John McCain was a former president of the Harvard Law Review?
What if Barack Obama finished fifth from the bottom of his graduating class?
What if McCain had only married once, and Obama was a divorcee?
What if Obama was the candidate who left his first wife after a severe
disfiguring car accident, when she no longer measured up to his standards?
What if Obama had met his second wife in a bar and had a long affair while
he was still married?
What if Michelle Obama was the wife who not only became addicted to pain
killers but also acquired them illegally through her charitable organization?
What if Cindy McCain graduated from Harvard?
What if Obama had been a member of the Keating Five?
(The Keating Five were five United States Se nators accused of corruption
in 1989, igniting a major political scandal as part of the larger Savings
and Loan crisis of the late 1980s and early 1990s.)
What if McCain was a charismatic, eloquent speaker?
What if Obama couldn’t read from a teleprompter?
What if Obama was the one who had military experience that included
disc ipline problems and a record of crashing seven planes?
What if Obama was the one who was known to display publicly, on many
occasions, a serious anger management problem?
What if Michelle Obama’s family had made their money from beer distribution?
What if the Obamas had adopted a white child?
You could easily add to this list. If these questions reflected reality,
do you really believe the election numbers would b e as close as they are?
This is what racism does. It covers up, rationalizes and minimizes
positive qua lities in one candidate and emphasizes negative qualities in
another when there is a color difference.

Please, Obama besides is a communist!!!

Obama is buying cheaps votes by saying helping the poor people, by increasing taxes to the riches. Please that is to be cheap. And people belive it!!!
Which poor people!!! that receives checks without working, and spend thousands in Christmas presents.
Our government is helping more than enough, what more help people want!!!
Osama, I mean Obama, is taking about insurance for the one do not have!!!
So, now those people without insurance are not receiving hospital attention. YESSSS, and free paid by the government. So, they are receiving a government insurance!!! So they have automatic insurance, in other words.

Posted by: Maria | October 9, 2008, 12:51 am 12:51 am

Obama, says that he will increase taxes to the ones who has money.
The one who has money, maybe investors, will move their money out of the country!!! so less for America. As these people with money will spend less or nothing in America!!!!
People, everybody is part of the economy, not just the poor or certain group.
One movement in the economy, everybody will be involved.

Obama and Biden, telling nothing just lies!!
Apparently they think they are like the chinese that are discovering the paper, etc.
Health plan is difficult to change, government will need to keep helping the ones who do not have insurance!!
Government cannot force employers to give more than they do not want otherwise we will be in COMMUNIST COUNTRY!!!
If they are forced, we will be out jobs as employers can say that they cannot afford it.
Obama says his mother with cancer. Well if she did not have insurance, maybe we paid it with our taxes!!!
People, hospital will not deny attention.
Why his mother did not have insurance??
How old he was???
He could work and help his mother!!
Maybe Obama did not like to work!!!

People in COLORADO, INDIANA, OHIO, MICHIGAN, NEVADA and NORTH CAROLINA… Regardless of who you’re voting for, please double check to see if you’re REGISTERED TO VOTE! You may have been removed from rolls just like thousands of others. Tell your family and friends to check if they’re still registered too!
Here’s the story:
Tens of thousands of eligible voters in at least six swing states have been removed from the rolls or have been blocked from registering in ways that appear to violate federal law, according to a review of state records and Social Security data by The New York Times.
The actions do not seem to be coordinated by one party or the other, nor do they appear to be the result of election officials intentionally breaking rules, but are apparently the result of mistakes in the handling of the registrations and voter files as the states tried to comply with a 2002 federal law, intended to overhaul the way elections are run.
Still, because Democrats have been more aggressive at registering new voters this year, according to state election officials, any heightened screening of new applications may affect their party’s supporters disproportionately. The screening and trimming of voter registration lists in the six states — Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and North Carolina — could also result in problems at the polls on Election Day: people who have been removed from the rolls are likely to show up only to be challenged by political party officials or election workers, resulting in confusion, long lines and heated tempers.

For those who buys the ‘Obama terrorist’ connection; to be absolutely fair, lets take a look at one of John McCain’s endorsments: KKK. Here is a racist domestic terrorist organization that endorses John McCain. Comments anyone? KKK wants John McCain for President, if Ayers somehow reflects on Obama then surely KKK reflects on McCain.

Funny how negativity is bad when it comes from the McCain/Palin ticket, but is A-OK when Palin especially was getting smeared. Unless you’ve been in a sensory deprivation chamber for the last few weeks you know better.
“McBush”…that’s so stupid it’s unbelievable. It’s like that tired “last 8 years” thing and “Bush’s failed policies”. Pretty sad when a candidate’s only strength is his opponents failures, both real and perceived. But, I guess that doesn’t require real solutions or much thinking.
I’ve noticed that we Republicans have more than a few criticisms of McCain, Bush and other Republicans (well, except maybe the Ron Paul folks-I respect the guy and agree with many of his positions, but they’re coming across as real Kool-Aid drinkers).
I don’t hear the Obama Drones criticizing Obama. Nor the Hillary supporters criticizing her or her husband. I guess the implication is that only super-smart, perfect people become Democrats. That’s such an elementary school playground argument.
And if we continue to criticize only the opposition and deify those that share our ideologies, we’re going to continue heading on a negative course in this country.

You forgot to add Bush – an MBA from Harvard.
The Obama campaign has run on an extension of Bush and your Bush hatred – that’s all the MSM have been pumping into your little brains for the past 8 years.
In my own state, there’s an article for Senator Durbin, front page entitled “Bush Hater”. Now, that’s real nice.
And you all complain about “negative ads”? We’ve had 8 years of BUSH HATE and we are sick of it! No good news ever got reported because of the oversaturation extreme liberalism in this country.

All someone has to do to win this election and relate to the people is to say we aren’t going to offer more socialistic plans – we are going to CUT THE DEFICIT!
America is going to become FISCALLY RESPONSIBLE – that means no more handouts, no more free houses you can’t afford and of those 47million who don’t have healthcare that the extreme left keep telling us about…let’s tell the truth about who they are: illegals, teenagers (who normally don’t have health care), young people who don’t want a health care plan (cause they’re healthy)and the like.
We need to drill for our own resources. Doing so will produce REVENUE, REVENUE from marketing a product and not revenue off the backs of Americans and companies in the form of MORE TAXES.
We need to REDUCE TAXES on our corporations so as to attract international business and stimulate our corporations to employ more.
Reducing corporate taxes from 37% (2nd highest in the world…wonder why the jobs are leaving the US) to 10% (or none)so as to insure that they can divert this money to the unfunded pension funds they have promised workers and reduce costs of products and services.
Think about it people, a plan to clean up Washington and oust the monsters that got us here in the first place (name names – Barney Frank, Chris Dodd, Nancy Pelosi); quit using the government as a socialistic tool that will only bankrupt us and stimulate our economy by generating revenue (or keeping it here) from our own gas & oil production.
Seems like a no-brainer to me.
The candidate needs to say:
No more new programs during the next 4 years – we’re going to focus on reducing taxes on corporations, small business and citizens by decreasing wasteful spending and increasing revenue through drilling for our own gas and oil.
Our economy and fiscal responsibility is the new focus for national security and protecting our citizens will be our major goal- not seeing to their every personal need.

John McCain would never say such harsh remarks about American people. This is a good example of Obama’s judgement and what he thinks in his heart. He thinks he is above the working class. Don’t reward him with your votes.

Everyone is tired of Barack Hussein Obama lying about the financial crisis. President Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton passed banking regulation that forced banks to give people with bad credit real estate mortgages. Banks have traditional required a person to have sufficient funds to help pay a mortgage. A person had to show a bank that they are a responsible person with good future earnings, a bank account that showed regular deposits and credit references that showed on time payments of items purchased with credit. The bank regulations made effective by Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton forbid the use of red-lining. The banks had to give a real mortgage to everyone or face a law suit. That is coercion of the worse kind.
President Bush had advisement of the coming problem developing with Freddie and Fannie. Democrats like Barack Hussein Obama controlled congress and said there is nothing to concern anyone. The Democrats with Barack Hussein Obama voted NO for any control of Fannie and Freddie or any other banking concerns. Barack Hussein Obama treated the Freddie and Fannie situation as business as usual. The financial crisis is not just due to President Bush and the last eight years. That is a lie and a distortion of the truth created by Barack Hussein Obama.
Barack Hussein Obama had a chance to help head off the financial crisis and did nothing. Now, Barack Hussein Obama says he can fix that which he helped to break. He has no realistic solution to fix that which he helped to break. Barack Hussein Obama’s education did not help him understand simple mathematics.

“I have a temper, to state the obvious, which I have tried to control with varying degrees of success because it does not always serve my interest or the public’s.” – John McCain
During last night’s debate, John McCain said we need “a cool hand at the tiller,” but McCain has proven to be a loose cannon. He has accosted his Congressional colleagues on both sides of the aisle on everything from the federal budget to diplomatic relations. He is known for hurling profanities rather than settling disagreements calmly. His belligerence is legendary. Even conservative Senator Thad Cochran of Mississippi has said, “He is erratic. He is hotheaded. He loses his temper and he worries me.”
When someone earns the nickname “Senator Hothead,” the public ought to call his character into question. McCain’s propensity to explode undermines his abilities as a rational decision maker, particularly on national security issues — which could prove disastrous considering our country is already involved in two wars.
With the election less than four weeks away, here’s a chance for you to take concrete action:
McCain’s temper is critical to his decision-making abilities, and his character must be discussed. As Drew Westen writes, “The political brain is an emotional brain. It is not a dispassionate calculating machine, objectively searching for the right facts, figures and policies to make a reasoned decision.” That why it’s so crucial people know the real Senator Hothead.

C’mon Joe: We all know that 2 years ago we were sailing along doing good when the Democrats took over the house and senate and then all hell broke loose. The first agenda item was to get Nancy and her posse a long range jet to ride on. We also know that the current mess was caused by Government dictating to banks to make loans to any “Joe” that wanted a loan for a home. Your fellow democrats such as Dodd and Obama took the fannie and freddie campaign donations knowing full well what was going on “off the books”. Economies go up and down but has it occured to you that perhaps the doom and gloom of politicians, such as yourself, have just a little bit to do with the mood in the country today?

Barack Obama and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Friends. They’ve worked together for years. But Obama tries to hide it. Why?
Obama launched his political career in Ayers’ living room. Ayers and Obama ran a radical “education” foundation, together. They wrote the foundation’s by-laws, together. Obama was the foundation’s first chairman. Reports say they, “distributed more than $100 million to ideological allies with no discernible improvement in education.”
When their relationship became an issue, Obama just responded, “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood.” That’s it?
We know Bill Ayers ran the “violent left wing activist group” called Weather Underground. We know Ayers’ wife was on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list. We know they bombed the Capitol. The Pentagon. A judge’s home. We know Ayers said, “I don’t regret setting bombs. …. I feel we didn’t do enough.”
But Obama’s friendship with terrorist Ayers isn’t the issue. The issue is Barack Obama’s judgment and candor. When Obama just says, “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood,” Americans say, “Where’s the truth, Barack?”
Barack Obama. Too risky for America.

Does ACORN have an office in Indianapolis? You know they do.
According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).
So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
Across the nation voter registration irregularities are coming to light. Many of these irregularities involving the former employer, ACORN, of one of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama. Now it comes to light that Obama’s campaign has paid ACORN over $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts so far this campaign season.
At some point, someone is going to have to look into this stuff.

Posted by: An ACORN doesn't fall far from the tree | October 9, 2008, 8:32 am 8:32 am

Let every vote count, is the Democratic Party’s mantra these days. That slogan might better be: Let every vote count as often as we need to win.
Such, at any rate, are the tactics of ACORN, Barack Obama’s favorite “community organizers,” and its Project Vote – of which, the Democratic presidential candidate has boasted, “I started working as the director . . . here in Chicago.”
ACORN has been implicated in voter-fraud schemes in 15 states – including Ohio, from where The Post’s Jeane MacIntosh reports today that a Board of Elections investigation has unearthed evidence of widespread voter fraud.
Two voters told MacIntosh they had been dragooned by ACORN activists into registering several times – one reporting having signed up “10 to 15″ times.
ACORN canvassers “would ask me if I was registered,” he said. “I’d say yes and they’d ask me to do it again.”
Tuesday, Nevada officials raided ACORN’s Las Vegas offices as part of a probe into voter-registration fraud – noting that some forms submitted by ACORN workers included the names of Dallas Cowboys players.
Officials in Lake County, Ind. report that fully 1,100 of 2,000 new voter-registration forms delivered by ACORN were “suspicious.”
In Washington state, officials recently closed an investigation into ballot cheating that resulted in prison terms.
ACORN submitted more than 800 phony registration forms in Independence, Mo., with one woman registering 10 times, using three birthdates, four different Social Security numbers and six different phone numbers.
And, as The Post reported Monday, another pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, took advantage of a quirk in that state’s law, which allows people to register and vote on the same day without having to prove residency, to drive hundreds of people from homeless shelters and drug-rehab centers to the polls.
John McCain’s campaign says all this “doesn’t pass the smell test.”
Actually, it stinks.
And it’s being done by a group with which Barack Obama has proudly been associated.
What, then, would they be able to pull off with a friend in the White House?

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (AP) — Officials in Missouri are sifting through possibly hundreds of questionable or duplicate voter-registration forms submitted by an advocacy group that has been accused of election fraud in other states. “I don’t even know the entire scope of it because registrations are coming in so heavy,” Davis said. “We have identified about 100 duplicates, and probably 280 addresses that don’t exist, people who have driver’s license numbers that won’t verify or Social Security numbers that won’t verify. Some have no address at all.” FBI spokeswoman Bridget Patton said the agency has been in contact with elections officials about potential voter fraud and plans to investigate. On Tuesday, authorities in Nevada seized records from ACORN after finding fraudulent registration forms that included the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys. In April, eight ACORN workers in St. Louis city and county pleaded guilty to federal election fraud for submitting false registration cards for the 2006 election. U.S. Attorney Catherine Hanaway said they submitted cards with false addresses and names, and forged signatures. BARACK OBAMA HAS GIVEN $800,000 IN CAMPAIGN FUNDS TO ACORN, A GROUP THAT ENGAGES IN VOTER FRAUD IN ALL SWING STATES, IN EVERY SINGLE ELECTION.

Only two weeks after his capture, the North Vietnamese press issued a report — picked up by The New York Times — in which McCain was quoted as saying that the war was “moving to the advantage of North Vietnam and the United States appears to be isolated.” He also provided the name of his ship, the number of raids he had flown, his squadron number and the target of his final raid.

Barack Hussein Obama reminds me of another Democrat President LB Johnson that did NOT take the advice of General LeMay. General LeMay advised Democrat President LB Johnson to bomb, bomb and bomb the main supply routes in North Vietnam. Instead, Democrat President LB Johnson tried to win the Vietnam War by sending more military equipment and men into Vietnam.
I held great sorrow for the military in Vietnam. I just finished six years of honorable service in the US Army. I recognized the mistakes and lunacy of a non military president. I voted for Democrat President LB Johnson because he promised to bring home the military. Democrat President LB Johnson escalated the Vietnam War that brought about unnecessary suffering and deaths to so many.

Obama’s misconception on terrorism:
Peter Bergen, author of “The Osama bin Laden I Know:” Overall it (Obama’s speech) was a very strong speech. Here is a minor criticism: While there is no doubt that conflict zones can breed terrorism, the 9/11 plot was actually planned in Hamburg. The idea that weak and failing states are causes of terrorism is wrong. There is in fact overwhelming academic literature that demonstrates the reverse is true. Terrorism is a sort of bourgeois endeavor. On a related point, the idea that madrassas are a big problem for violence against the United States is also wrong. Madrassas lead to problems regionally, and are a big problem in Afghanistan and Pakistan, but not in terms of terrorism against the United States.

2nd Source Confirms Obama Socialist Party Membership, Plus How They Infiltrated Democratic Party
Yesterday, we disclosed 2 documents, a archived press release from the New Party in 1996 and an archived Populist Progressive article, both confirming Barack Obama’s membership in the Socialist Affiliate of the Democratic Socialists of America. On Wednesday, I went hunting for additional sources…

How can you believe Biden? Wasn’t he the one who said Obama wouldn’t be a good president. And said McCain would be better. He’s talking from both sides of his mouth.

Obama’s terrorist connection? Let’s talk about John McCain’s well documented, cozy and admiring relationship with G. Gordon Liddy. Remember him, you douchebag neo-cons? Watergate break-in and bugging? Convicted felon? Served 4 years in prison on a 20 year rap and only got released because Carter wanted to heal the nation and put Watergate behind us? Plotted to murder columnist Jack Anderson with mob help? (Thank God it didn’t happen) Said on his radio show about ATF Agents, “If they raid your home, shoot the bastards in the head! Go for head shots! They wear body armor.” Remember that? Has donated $5,000 to McCain’s campaign, $1,000 of it this year. Held a rally in his home for McCain. McCain was on his radio show last November and said how proud of him he is and what an old friend he is and that he, McCain, admires the “principles” that Liddy stands for. Liddy, unrepentant dirtbag who says he was never a convict but a POW.
Principles? Like exhorting his nutty listeners to kill law enforcement officers?
Gordon Liddy makes Bill Ayers look like a boy scout and John McCain and he are still “palling around” as Eskimo Pie Palin would say. McCain was back on Mad Dog Liddy’s program in May of this year.
You idiots who cackle “AyersAyersAyers” like Rush Limbaugh/Sean Hannity parrots don’t want to have that discussion, do you. You make me sick. But that’s okay. Come January, Barack Obama is going to be your president whether you like it or not. You can’t win football games on gimmick plays. Any football player can tell you that. Sooner or later, the other side shuts you down. And that’s what’s happened to McCain’s campaign. It’s now resorting to gimmick plays. It’s fourth and forever on its own 20 yard line. The QB can’t pass, can’t run and can’t read the other team’s plays. The receiver, a rookie from Alaska with ham hands and nothing in her head but smack talk, fumbles the ball every time she gets it. Team McCain is getting its ass kicked and the game is almost over. Their fans are leaving the stands already. Buh-bye, losers!

ABC and Charlie Gibson are the worst hacks !!! They are bordering on Keith Olberman standards. I can’t wait until Obama, Nancy, Reed, tax the hell out him. His stocks bottom out, ABC tanks and cuts his salary big time, and his wealth is redistributed to buys solid gold grills for ACORN voters.

I would like to know why the media has been silent on Palin’s ongoing association with the Alaskan Independence Party – a group that hates the US so much that their goal is to secede. This is beyond a double standard. Here’s the link showing video of her ties.

PLEASE! Let’s cut to the chase. No one likes the results of the lies of the neo-conservative radical right that got Bush (the puppet of the neo-conservative radical right) and Cheney (the neo-conservative radical henchman who is Bush’s handler) elected. Their plan was to bring middle class America to its knees and they have succeeded in less than 8 short years. The same kind of outlandish lies that got Bush and Cheney elected continue in the guise of the Palin(handler)/McCain(puppet) campaign. It’s time to throw these radical bums out of office and prosecute them for all their crimes. It’s time for the change and leadership Obama/Biden will provide.
I am thankful Obama/Biden are the gutsy fighters they are.
Has anyone noticed how McCain is tripping over himself more and more each day? He needs others to keep him on track and distract from his mental and physical deficiencies. His wife, Palin and his other handlers. Palin is even interjecting herself into his speeches, completing parts of his speeches and thoughts he is forgetting.

If Obama is going ahead, why his supporters insults when giving opinion.
Supporters of Obama needs to learn to control themselves. Supporters of Obama talk like people without education.
Give your opinion, if you do not like other opinions, too bad. Respect others!!!

ABC recently refused to run the patriotic Repower America ad (supports alternative energy), even though they run ads from oil companies that mislead the American people about the role fossil fuels play in the climate crisis.
Ask ABC to reconsider their decision and air the Repower America ad this Friday:

Concern of Obama’s experience and terrorist friends.
No wonder, he said, he would sit with terrorist because he already did. No wonder, he is against to attack terrorism because he is a friend of terrorists.

VOIGHT: My concerns for America
Obama sowing socialist seeds in young people
The Washington Post
Associated Press
We, as parents, are well aware of the importance of our teachers who teach and program our children. We also know how important it is for our children to play with good-thinking children growing up.
Sen. Barack Obama has grown up with the teaching of very angry, militant white and black people: the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, Louis Farrakhan, William Ayers and Rev. Michael Pfleger. We cannot say we are not affected by teachers who are militant and angry. We know too well that we become like them, and Mr. Obama will run this country in their mindset.
The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America.
The Democrats have targeted young people, knowing how easy it is to bring forth whatever is needed to program their minds. I know this process well. I was caught up in the hysteria during the Vietnam era, which was brought about through Marxist propaganda underlying the so-called peace movement. The radicals of that era were successful in giving the communists power to bring forth the killing fields and slaughter 2.5 million people in Cambodia and South Vietnam. Did they stop the war, or did they bring the war to those innocent people? In the end, they turned their backs on all the horror and suffering they helped create and walked away.
Those same leaders who were in the streets in the ’60s are very powerful today in their work to bring down the Iraq war and to attack our president, and they have found their way into our schools. William Ayers is a good example of that.
Thank God, today, we have a strong generation of young soldiers who know exactly who they are and what they must do to protect our freedom and our democracy. And we have the leadership of Gen. David Petraeus, who has brought hope and stability to Iraq and prevented the terrorists from establishing a base in that country. Our soldiers are lifting us to an example of patriotism at a time when we’ve almost forgotten who we are and what is at stake.
If Mr. Obama had his way, he would have pulled our troops from Iraq years ago and initiated an unprecedented bloodbath, turning over that country to the barbarianism of our enemies. With what he has openly stated about his plans for our military, and his lack of understanding about the true nature of our enemies, there’s not a cell in my body that can accept the idea that Mr. Obama can keep us safe from the terrorists around the world, and from Iran, which is making great strides toward getting the atomic bomb. And while a misleading portrait of Mr. Obama is being perpetrated by a media controlled by the Democrats, the Obama camp has sent out people to attack the greatness of Sen. John McCain, whose suffering and courage in a Hanoi prison camp is an American legend.
Gen. Wesley Clark, who himself has shame upon him, having been relieved of his command, has done their bidding and become a lying fool in his need to demean a fellow soldier and a true hero.
This is a perilous time, and more than ever, the world needs a united and strong America. If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way.

I do not want people change their opinions.
But every single american should analyze their own experience and life and go out and vote.
Do not pay attention that rich people will have a different treatment, I mean their taxes will be increase.
That proposal is just a proposal, just to get easy votes.
How many richs and poors are out there. It is like to put water in the dessert!!!

I see on this site and on many others that calling people socialist or position socialism seems to end the discussion. But do you know the origin of socialism? check out the New Testament folks. Acts of the Apostles 2 44-45. The early Christians lived together sharing all they had. They sold their possessions and laid the proceeds at the feet of the Apostles, who distributed then according to need. So there !
