Emotional Biden Describes Meeting with Father of Deceased Soldier
ABC News’ Matt Jaffe Reports: Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del., Tuesday addressed volunteers at the Campaign for Change field office in Parker, Colo.., just outside of Denver, describing an emotional rope line meeting earlier in the day when a supporter urged him to end the Iraq war.
"He said, ‘I want you to bring all these boys and girls home’," recalled Biden, whose son Beau is training in Fort Bliss, Tex., prior to heading to Iraq. "And he said, ‘I want to present you with something’."
The senator then took a gold pin off his lapel, next to the rectangular one he wears in support of Beau.
"And before I knew it, before I could say no, he pinned this on my lapel," Biden said as his eyes welled with tears.
"It’s a gold star," the senator continued, holding it up for the crowd. "The only way you get a gold star is if you lose a child in battle."
"We’re going to end this war," an emotional Biden then assured the audience, some of whom were wiping away tears.

Former CBS anchorman Dan Rather says there is a huge double-standard in the media when it comes to coverage the Barack Obama campaign receives, which is clearly made evident in the lack of scrutiny given to comments Obama’s vice presidential running mate Sen. Joe Biden made earlier this week.
On Sunday, Biden said that electing Obama president will generate “an international crisis” within the first six months of his new administration because America’s enemies will want to test Obama.
“Watch — we’re gonna have an international crisis, a generated crisis, to test the mettle of this guy,” Biden assured. “I don’t know what the decision is going to be, but I promise you it will occur. As a student of history, and having served with seven presidents, I guarantee you it is going to happen.”
Rather, speaking today on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe” cable program, told host Joe Scarborough that if Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin had said such a thing about her running mate John McCain, it would be “the top story in every major American paper and on every network.”
Rather says the Obama campaign “can’t be happy” about Biden’s comments and is surprised there haven’t been more political ramifications to Biden’s gaffe.
“Certainly if Sarah Palin had said this, it would be above the fold in most newspapers today,” Rather said. “But let me point out that what happens on the Internet may be as important, or more important, than what’s happening in newspapers,” he added, referring to the spotty mainstream media coverage.
“I’ll be surprised if this doesn’t have a run on the Internet, because if Sarah Palin had said this, the newspapers would have jumped all over it, and so would the major television outlets.”

Biden we Love you and our Troops bring them home when you and Obama win!
Palin is making mockery of the US Intelligence level and John McCain should be ashame of himself for allowing himself to choose a running mate base on looks…

Telling a friend that the love of his life is a phony and dangerous is not likely to get him to change his mind. But it may cost you a friend. It is much the same story with true believers in Barack Obama. They have made up their minds and not only don’t want to be confused by the facts, they resent being told the facts. An e-mail from a reader mentioned trying to tell his sister why he was voting against Obama but, when he tried to argue some facts, she cut him short: “You don’t like him and I do!” she said. End of discussion. When one thinks of all the men who have put their lives on the line in battle to defend and preserve this country, it is especially painful to think that there are people living in the safety and comfort of civilian life who cannot be bothered to find out the facts about candidates before voting to put the fate of this nation, and of generations yet to come, in the hands of someone chosen because they like his words or style. Of the four people running for president and vice president on the Republican and Democratic tickets, the one we know the least about is the one leading in the polls — Barack Obama. Some of Sen. Obama’s most fervent supporters could not tell you what he has actually done on such issues as crime, education, or financial institutions like Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, much less what he plans to do to stop Iran from becoming a nuclear nation supplying nuclear weapons to the international terrorist networks that it has supplied with other weapons.
The magic word “change” makes specifics unnecessary. If things are going bad, some think that what is needed is blank-check “change.” But history shows any number of countries in crises worse than ours, where “change” turned problems into catastrophes. In czarist Russia, for example, the economy was worse than ours is today and World War I was going far worse for the Russians than anything we have faced in Iraq. Moreover, Russians had nothing like the rights of Americans today. So they went for “change.” That “change” brought on a totalitarian regime that made the czars’ despotism look like child’s play. The communists killed more people in one year than the czars killed in more than 90 years, not counting the millions who died in a government-created famine in the 1930s. Other despotic regimes in China, Cuba, and Iran were similarly replaced by people who promised “change” that turned out to be even worse than what went before. Yet, many today seem to assume that if things are bad, “change” will make them better. Specifics don’t interest them nearly as much as inspiring rhetoric and a confident style. But many 20th century leaders with inspiring rhetoric and great self-confidence led their followers or their countries into utter disasters. These ranged from Jim Jones who led hundreds to their deaths in Jonestown to Hitler and Mao who led millions to their deaths. What specifics do we know about Barack Obama’s track record that might give us some clue as to what kinds of “changes” to expect if he is elected?
We know that he opposed the practice of putting violent young felons on trial as adults. We know that he was against a law forbidding physicians to kill a baby that was born alive despite an attempt to abort it. We know that Obama opposed attempts to put stricter regulations on Fannie Mae — and that he was the second largest recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae. We know that this very year his campaign sought the advice of disgraced former Fannie Mae CEO Franklin Raines. Fannie Mae and Raines were at the heart of “the mess in Washington” that Barack Obama claims he is going to clean up under the banner of “change.” The public has been told very little about what this man with the wonderful rhetoric has actually done. What we knows enough to make us wonder about what we don’t know. Or it ought to. For the true believers — which includes many in the media — it is just a question of whether you like him or not.

Mark today Biden was talking about a soldier-Both campaigns have had their gaffes and they have been covered fairly by the media. The Republican party is the party of division. The Democratic party is the party of inclusion. The republican party relies on division to win elections. That’s why they always use wedge issues to pit one group of americans against another. They pit black against white, straight vs gay, well off vs struggling american, old vs young, city vs suburb/rural. big cities vs small towns, pro gun vs anti gun, pro life vs pro choice, south vs north etc. That’s the republican playbook, they have to pit us against each other to win and they have become experts at it. Republicans need to foster division in order to stay in power to continue their policies of helping corporations and the wealthy while ignoring struggling americans. It’s up to voters to punish them for ruining our great nation and their behavior of putting corporations and greed over struggling americans.
Unite and work together. Vote Democratic.

Oh, here we go again. Biden is going to cry. He sobbed during his address to his son’s unit deploying to Iraq and now he’s going to get all teary-eyed because he’s talking to the father of a soldier. If he’s so concerned, why doesn’t he visit soldiers in the hospitals and VAs across the country? Obama won’t do it because cameras aren’t allowed. And Obama doesn’t go anywhere or do anything without a CAMERA!
Biden’s too wimpy to be V.P. and he’s one of the good old do-nothing Washington boys.

Mark Garnett:
That is because Palin has lost all credibility in the race. Mind you, I really found this Biden gaffe hilarious. But this has a serious tinge, and you can tell that the McCain/Palin campaign, though clearly beaming at this fortuitious opening, did not know what to do with the piece. It is serious stuff. Granted Biden said Obama invited testing, he also expressed wholehearted belief and trust in him, saying he has a “steel of spine”. This is why the charge of McCain along the lines of “Biden does not trust Obama, says he is inexperienced” does not stick (unless you quote only a snippet of the Biden statement, the most controversial parts, which is what McC/P did).
In this way, the issue which would have raised the level of discourse to McCain’s advantage, turned into a soundbite. Because it is out-of-context, now it is largely disregarded except by die-hards. You need to capture the interest of the independents. But if day after day, you show them how unserious and incapable you and your campaign has been, then when the other side does slip, they will still be taken with more seriousness.

Sophia:
You are not serious when you say that both camps have been covered fairly by the media! If somebody like Dan Rather even admitts that there is a double standard, that is saying something. Remember Dan Rather was so intent on bringing down George Bush he lost his job because of the bad stories he ran durring the 2004 elections. Dan Rather of all people agreeing that that media has a double standard.
Now I ask you Sophia did you see the interview with Palin and the CNN reporter? If you did, the reporter clearly agreeded with her and even laughed while saying she was right.
Last night on MSNBC all they talked about was how Palin goofed on her explaination the VP role in the Senate. Now please tell me, what is more of an issue a VP Nominee saying his running mate will cause an international situation or a VP Nominee stating the VP roll in the senate?
Not one of the mainstream media have reported this ON AIR! If Palain would have said what Joe Biden said, it would have been the lead story ON AIR for NBC/CBS/ABC/MSNBC! Fair my AS*

Mark – I think you are assuming that the majority of us aren’t very intelligent. You can make the argument on both sides of the fence about how people are chosing how to vote. I have friends that don’t like Obama, so they are voting for McCain regardless of what they think of either one’s policies. While I do consider myself an Obama supporter, I also have done quite a bit of research into what their plans are. I’ve read independent reviews of their plans. I certainly don’t expect that either will be able to fix all the issue, but I am voting on how their plans are laid out and their visions for America. The trickle down economic plan of the last 8 years has given the wealthy in this country unprecendented growth while the middle class (of which I’m a part of) has lost income. We now trail behind most industrialized nations in the world in terms of the gap between incomes in the lower/middle class to the upper class. We’re moving towards a two class system if we continue down this path. Considering our economy is based on consumer spending, lessening the buying power of the middle class probably isn’t the best way to move us back in the right direction. Also, look a health care for a minute. I live in John McCain’s healthcare plan at the moment as some of my healthcare benefits are considered income. That takes quite a bit out of my take home pay and leaves me with less to spend every month. In my world, that doesn’t work either. So I’ve looked at their plans, read the reviews and made the choice based on what their ideas of what they want to do in the future are. Experience can be nice, but is not always the best measure of a person’s ability to make informed intelligent decision. I feel Obama has those qualities.

chuck:
Imagine this scenario.
In a Republican fund raiser, Palin tells guests that McCain will invite testing by our enemies, who will generate a crisis. She says they will test McCain’s mettle and asks them to support the administration when they implement not necessarily popular decisions, but what they think are the right ones. She convinces them that McCain gets it, that he has a “steel of spine”.
OK. So what? We will just say she is pandering to the base. Shrug it off. No big deal. Here is my worry though. When (in our scenario) Palin says they will act on not necessarily popular decisions, but what they think are the right ones, I remember Bush and his military policy — which McCain absolutely supports (especially now, emboldened by the success of the surge). I remember the protracted war in Iraq and how long before we got to the “right” decision when McCain assumed us it will be quick and easy.
In short, in our scenario, we will actually realize that Oh, Palin is capable of serious thought after all. However, we will still be reminded of McCain’s irresponsible, Bush-style military policy. In any case, it will still not work. The comparison of this Biden gaffe to a hypothetical Palin slip is still to McCain/Palin’s disadvantage, but Palin will gain some gravitas.

I have finally decided this week to vote for Obama for President I just believe that he can get it done and McCain has nothing to offer me.

As all of you far left radicals bask in the glow of your new MESSIAH, I want you to remember the following:
1) Regardless of what Obama is currently saying we ALL will see our payroll taxes go up, a new 45% death tax, a reduction in deductions, a temporary ONE YEAR $1500 tax break, NOT A CUT. (For proof, please check out Barney Franks comments. He said forget the deficit, we can grow it now with massive NEW spending, then tax folks more later on to make up for it.)
2) Sen. Biden states and PROMISES that Obama will be tested by an International incident, maybe an attack on American soil, maybe Iran on Israel… And Biden says, not knowing it was being recorded, that WE WILL NEED YOUR SUPPORT BECAUSE PEOPLE WILL NOT LIKE THE RESPONSE FROM OBAMA! What does that mean? Will he allow our security to be dictated by the U.N.? We Israel be attacked and we just “watch it happen”? Why very little MSM coverage? ABC, NBC, CBS and CNN did NOT even report Biden’s comments on their news… DOES ANYONE on this site believe that Palin would have gotten the same pass? Dan Rather, a far left lib, even said that the MSM was in the tank for Obama and this story is huge and should have gotten coverage and demanded answers to what exactly Biden said.
3) And remember my Liberal friends, when the “fairness doctrine” is imposed Conservative Talk Radio will be dead, and freedom of speech, which even most Democrats believe in, will have been eroded. Maybe some rights that you Democrats find important will be the next in line to go. Maybe guns and some Liberals do hunt. Maybe freedom to assemble and we know how Libs love to demonstrate. The little children’s choirs singing praises to THE LEADER are just the beginning. Obama plans to “Change the World”, but he has a very divided Country and 44% of us do not trust him to protect America, American values nor Freedom of Speech.
I wish you all well with your Messiah, I for one, along with 44% of the Americans that still have PRIDE and RESPECT for America will be praying that it’s not the end of a wonderful Country.

You have three hit pieces on Palin and a FLUFF piece on Biden just days after his UNBELIEVABLE comments about an international incident if Obama is elected. This is getting insane. No media bias?? Obama Should Immediately Withdraw his Candidacy for President
For Immediate Release: – 10/21/08 – Complete contact details and pdfs of this press release and motions filed by plaintiff Berg today are at the end of this article
(Lafayette Hill, Pennsylvania – 10/21/08) – Philip J. Berg, Esquire, the Attorney who filed suit against Barack H. Obama challenging Senator Obama’s lack of “qualifications” to serve as President of the United States, announced today that Obama and tbe DNC “ADMITTED”, by way of failure to timely respond to Requests for Admissions, all of the numerous specific requests in the Federal lawsuit. Obama is “NOT QUALIFIED” to be President and therefore Obama must immediately withdraw his candidacy for President and the DNC shall substitute a qualified candidate. The case is Berg v. Obama, No. 08-cv-04083.
Berg stated that he filed Requests for Admissions on September 15, 2008 with a response by way of answer or objection had to be served within thirty [30] days. No response to the Requests for Admissions was served by way of response or objection. Thus, all of the Admissions directed to Obama and the DNC are deemed “ADMITTED.” Therefore, Obama must immediately withdraw his candidacy for President.

To Barack Hussein Obama,
The New York Times carried a story on Saturday, October 4, 2008, that proved you had a significantly closer relationship with Bill Ayers than what you previously admitted. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.
The Chicago Sun reported on May 8, 2008, that FBI records showed that you had a significantly closer relationship with Tony Rezko than what you previously admitted. In the interview, you said that you only saw Mr. Rezko a couple of times a year. The FBI files showed that you saw him weekly. While the issue of your relationship is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about it.
Your speech in Philadelphia on March 18, 2008, about “race” contradicted your statement to Anderson Cooper on March 14 when you said that you never heard Reverend Wright make his negative statements about white America . While your attendance at Trinity Church for 20 years is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on March 14.
In your 1st debate with John McCain, you said that you never said that you would meet with the leaders of Cuba, Venezuela, Iran, and North Korea without “preparations” at lower levels … Joe Biden repeated your words in his debate with Sarah Palin … while the video tape from your debate last February clearly shows that you answered “I would” to the question of meeting with those leaders within 12 months without “any” preconditions. While your judgement about meeting with enemies of the USA without pre-conditions is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America in the debate with McCain.
On July 14, 2008, you said that you always knew that the surge would work while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you stated that the surge would not work. While your judgment about military strategy as a potential commander-in-chief is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America on July 14.
You now claim that your reason for voting against funding for the troops was because the bill did not include a time line for withdrawal, while the video tapes of you from more than a year ago show that you voted against additional funding because you wanted our troops to be removed immediately … not in 16 months after the 2008 election as you now claim. While your judgment about removing our troops unilaterally in 2007 is of concern, the greater concern is that you lied to America about your previous position.
You claim to have a record of working with Republicans while the record shows that the only bill that you sponsored with a Republican was with Chuck Lugar … and it failed. The record shows that you vote 97% in concert with the Democrat party and that you have the most liberal voting record in the Senate. You joined Republicans only 13% of the time in your votes and those 13% were only after agreement from the Democrat party. While it is of concern that you fail to include conservatives in your actions and that you are such a liberal, the greater concern is that you distorted the truth.
In the primary debates of last February, 2008, you claimed to have talked with a “Captain” of a platoon in Afghanistan “the other day” when in fact you had a discussion in 2003 with a Lieutenant who had just been deployed to Afghanistan . You lied in that debate.
In your debates last spring, you claimed to have been a “professor of Constitutional law” when in fact you have never been a professor of Constitutional law. In this last debate, you were careful to say that you “taught a law class” and never mentioned being a “professor of Constitutional law.” You lied last spring.
You and Joe Biden both claimed that John McCain voted against additional funding for our troops when the actual records show the opposite. You distorted the truth.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted against funding for alternate energy sources 20 times when the record shows that John McCain specifically voted against funding for bio fuels, especially corn … and he was right …. corn is too expensive at producing ethanol, and using corn to make ethanol increased the price of corn from $2 a bushel to $6 a bushel for food. You distorted the truth.
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted like both of you for a tax increase on those making as little as $42,000 per year while the voting record clearly shows that John McCain did not vote as you and Joe Biden. You lied to America .
You and Joe Biden claim that John McCain voted with George W. Bush 90% of the time when you know that Democrats also vote 90% of the time with the President (including Joe Biden) because the vast majority of the votes are procedural. You are one of the few who has not voted 90% of the time with the president because you have been missing from the Senate since the day you got elected. While your absence from your job in the Senate is of concern, the greater concern is that you spin the facts.
You did not take an active role in the rescue plan. You claimed that the Senate did not need you while the real reason that you abstained was because of your close relationships with the executives of Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, Countrywide, and Acorn … who all helped cause the financial problems of today … and they all made major contributions to your campaign. While your relationship with these executives and your protection of them for your brief 3 years in the Senate (along with Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Maxine Waters, and Chris Dodd) is of concern, the greater concern is that you are being deceitful.
You forgot to mention that you personally represented Tony Rezko and Acorn. Tony Rezko, an Arab and close friend to you, was convicted of fraud in Chicago real estate transactions that bilked millions of tax dollars from the Illinois government for renovation projects that you sponsored as a state senator … and Acorn has been convicted of voter fraud, real estate sub prime loan intimidation, and illegal campaign contributions. Tony Rezko has contributed hundreds of thousands of dollars to your political campaigns. You personally used your political positions to steer money to both Tony Rezko and Acorn and you used Acorn to register thousands of phony voters for Democrats and you. While your relationships with Rezko and Acorn are of concern, the greater concern is that you omitted important facts about your relationships with them to America .
During your campaign, you said: “typical white person.” “They cling to their guns and religion.” “They will say that I am black.” You played the race card. You tried to label any criticism about you as racist. You divide America .
You claim that you will reduce taxes for 95% of America , but you forgot to tell America that those reductions are after you remove the Bush tax reductions. You have requested close to $1 billion in earmarks and several million for Acorn. Your social programs will cost America $1 trillion per year and you claim that a reduction in military spending ($100 billion for Iraq ) can pay for it. While your economic plan of adding 30% to the size of our federal government is of concern, the greater concern is that you are deceiving America .
The drain to America ‘s economy by foreign supplied oil is $700 billion per year (5% of GDP) while the war in Iraq is $100 billion (less than 1% of GDP). You voted against any increases to oil exploration for the last 3 years and any expansion of nuclear facilities. Yet today, you say that you have always been for more oil and more nuclear. You are lying to America …
Mr. Obama, you claimed that you “changed” your mind about public financing for your campaign because of the money spent by Republican PACs in 2004. The truth is that the Democrat PACs in 2004, 2006, and 2008 spent twice as much as the Republican PACs (especially George Soros and MoveOn.org). You are lying to America .
Oh, Mr. Obama, Teddy Roosevelt said about a hundred years ago that we Americans should first look at the character of our leaders before anything else.
Your character looks horrible. While you make good speeches, motivating speeches, your character does not match your rhetoric. You talk the talk, but do not walk the walk.
1. You lied to America . You lied many times. You distorted facts. You parsed your answers like a lawyer.
2. You distorted the record of John McCain in your words and in your advertisements.
3. You had associations with some very bad people for your personal political gains and then lied about those associations.
4. You divide America about race and about class.
Now let me compare your record of lies, distortions, race baiting, and associations to John McCain: War hero. Annapolis graduate with “Country first.” Operational leadership experience like all 43 previously elected presidents of the USA as a Navy officer for 22 years. 26 years in the Senate. Straight talk. Maverick. 54% of the time participated on bills with Democrats. Never asked for an earmark. The only blemish on his record is his part in the Keating 5 debacle about 25 years ago.
Mr. Obama, at Harvard Law School, you learned that the end does not justify the means. You learned that perjury, false witness, dishonesty, distortion of truth are never tolerated. Yet, your dishonesty is overwhelming. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty that caused the impeachment and disbarment of Bill Clinton. Your dishonesty is tremendously greater than the dishonesty of Scooter Libby. You should be ashamed.
Mr. Obama, it is time for us Americans to put aside our differences on political issues and vote against you because of your dishonest character. It is time for all of us Americans to put aside our political issues and vote for America first. It is time for America to vote for honesty.
Any people who vote for you after understanding that you are dishonest should be ashamed of themselves for making their personal political issues more important than character. Would these same people vote for the anti-Christ if the anti-Christ promised them riches? Would they make a golden calf while Moses was up the mountain? Would they hire someone for a job if that someone lied in an interview? Of course not. So why do some of these people justify their votes for you even though they know you are dishonest? Why do they excuse your dishonesty? Because some of these people are frightened about the future, the economy, and their financial security …. and you are preying on their fears with empty promises … and because some (especially our young people) are consumed by your wonderful style and promises for “change” like the Germans who voted for Adolf Hitler in 1932. The greed/envy by Germans in 1932 kept them from recognizing Hitler for who he was. They loved his style. Greed and envy are keeping many Americans from recognizing you … your style has camouflaged your dishonesty …. but many of us see you for who you really are … and we will not stop exposing who you are every day, forever if it is necessary.
Mr. Obama, you are dishonest. Anyone who votes for you is enabling dishonesty.
Mr. Obama , America cannot trust that you will put America first in your decisions about the future.
Mr. Obama, you are not the “change” that America deserves. We cannot trust you.
Mr. Obama, You are not ready and not fit to be commander-in-chief.
Mr. Obama, John McCain does not have as much money as your campaign to refute all of your false statements. And for whatever reasons, the mainstream media will not give adequate coverage or research about your lies, distortions, word parsing, bad associations, race baiting, lack of operational leadership experience, and generally dishonest character. The media is diverting our attention from your relationships and ignoring the fact that you lied about those relationships. The fact that you lied is much more important than the relationships themselves …. just like with Bill Clinton and Richard Nixon … Monica Lewinski and Watergate were not nearly as bad as the fact that those men lied about the events ….. false witness … perjury … your relationships and bad judgments are bad on their own …. but your lies are even worse.
Therefore, by copy of this memo, all who read this memo are asked to send it to everyone else in America before it is too late. We need to do the job that the media will not do. We need to expose your dishonesty so that every person in America understands who you really are before election day.
Mr. Obama, in a democracy, we get what we deserve. And God help America if we deserve you.

This campaign has brought out the best in some and the worst in other. As I sat in the stands at an Obama rally, I saw a crowd of black, whites, young and old…and I was proud to be there. Then, I went to vote yesterday and an awful argument began in line. A woman, an obvious McCain supporter began to spew her hatred for Obama. Some of us tried to tell her nicely that it wasn’t the place. Finally after several minutes, someone turned to her and told her to shut up to a large round of applause. She shut up.

The Obama campaign released a digital scan of Mr. Obama’s Hawaiian birth certificate on its Web site in June. It is not the original birth certificate, but a new version produced by the State of Hawaii in 2007. Mr. Berg said he believes the certificate is a forgery.
“They don’t have [the original documents],” said Mr. Berg. He is convinced that there is no birth certificate for Mr. Obama issued in 1961. If the defendants do produce them, he has promised to withdraw the case.
The second portion of the case deals with Mr. Obama’s childhood in Indonesia. Ms. Dunham married an Indonesian businessman named Lolo Soetoro, taking Mr. Obama to Indonesia for several years. Mr. Berg says that Mr. Obama had to have been a citizen in Indonesia while he was there, and in consequence, he would be either a naturalized U.S. citizen or an illegal immigrant.
“In the ’60s, Indonesia was at war, and they didn’t allow dual citizenship,” said Mr. Berg. “Mr. Obama admits to going to school there, something he would only have been able to do if he were adopted or considered a natural born citizen of Indonesia.”
He was known as Barry Soetoro while in Indonesia. He returned to the U.S. and stayed with his grandparents at age 10.

Biden is afraid he will lose his son if Obama is elected.

Thank you, Senator Biden. Yes, it is an emotional campaign on both sides. I love you, Joe, for your honesty and passion. With all the gaffes Gov. Palin makes, and with the surprisingly small amount of time interviewed, etc., she tends to speak all-too-frequent unintelligent rubbish. You, Joe Biden, are on the airwaves up to four times a day, and the only thing your opponents can jump on is a “perceived gaffe,” which to 99% of us is a non-story. Sad. Obama/Biden 2008

Yes! Go Obama/Biden 2008!

yeah, Joe. Let’s honor that man’s sacrifice by withdrawing our troops and letting Iraq devolve back into a hell hole. I can think of nothing greater for you to do.
What a bunch of putzes. Obviously not military folks. But mainly putzes.

As a resident of Delaware, I can assure you that Biden has been turning the tears on at will since 1972. He still uses his dead wife and child stories to this day, tears flowing. He cries at will on rope lines, at rallies and speeches. His brain must be damaged by the surgeries, botox, hairplugs or all three. His tongue must need work, too, given his assessment of a definite international crisis if Obama is elected. For once, he’s probably (unfortunately) right. McCain 2008

Senator Biden Tell us again about that breakfast place to stop in in the morning to talk with the “regular folk” and hear their pain and concern about the economy. The one you spoke about at the debate. You know the one that shut down in the 1980′s. What a guy….

To the Mike person who wrote the long article. Stop Blowing Smoke! Obama will be a great President and Leader of the United States. We did not know a lot about JFK or President Clinton. You just don’t like the ideal Obama is African American/White and he was not born with a Silver Spoon in his mouth. Get over it. Obama is going to win President.
