The Bailout……..
” It’s pretty funny to see House Republicans run around claiming to be acting on true conservative principles. Where the hell have you all been for the past eight years of George Bush?”
Obama touts his position of being against the Iraq war even though he was not a member of Congress at the time and could not vote.
So, assuming the Obama’s political method, Sarah Palin could say she didn’t support the bailout even though she didn’t get to vote as she is not a member of Congress.
1st the Patroit Act I and II, then the FISA bill, then the bailout bill, all policies that the people didn’t want, yet it happened. There will be NO election. Bush will postpone the election and declare martial law. (We’re already under a “state of emergency” and have been since 911) It’s over folks. You have been betrayed. How does it feel? Are you mad yet? Too bad your powerless to stop it. But hey I’m sure the same people who sold you out (Bush, McCain, Obama, Reid Pelosi) will be more than willing to save you over themselves, right. Right???

I still cant belive Mccain voted for pork cant belive it i thought he was gonna veto every pork bill that came his way as president oh guess he changed his mind again!
I wouldn’t worry too much about poll numbers, McCain supporters. I know registered Democrats who say they would never admit publically that they are going to vote for McCain. I’ve heard this from relatives and friends. Judging from the vitriol and pure craziness of Obama supporters on the Internet, you can see why. I believe John McCain has far more Democratic support than we realize. Lots of those supposed Obama supporters you know are going to march in the privacy of the voting booth and pull the lever for McCain. Count on it.

Not only did McBush vote for it, he then turned around and said Duh-bya should veto it?
This is putting country first how?
I have never saw a bunch of useless, dysfunctional, incompetent, corrupt, etc. as the people in Washington representing “We the People”. They were sent there by the voters to represent them and have failed miserably.
McCain is fast showing what a maverick he AINT! I am dis appointed, although he is still the lesser of two evils!

If John McCain has a real economic program we could discuss about it.
Problem is, he doesn’t have one.
His tax plans are just a stunt to fool the people.
”
McCain Adviser Says Next President Must Raise Taxes
The Tyranny of Dead Ideas: Letting Go of the Old Ways of Thinking to Unleash a New Prosperity In a forthcoming book by Fortune columnist Matt Miller, The Tyranny of Dead Ideas, Sen. John McCain’s chief economic adviser, Douglas Holtz-Eakin, “makes it clear that the next President is going to have to raise taxes,” according to Joe Klein.
Said Holtz-Eakin: “If you do nothing on the spending side, you’re going to have to raise taxes whether you’re a Republican, a Democrat or a Martian.”
He then immediately makes it clear that the “spending side” part of the argument for cutting taxes is “nothing more than a political fig-leaf” covering up basic arithmetic. The growth of entitlement programs and spiraling health costs make it nearly impossible to cut spending for McCain’s proposed tax cuts.
When asked why tax cutting remains the central theme of Republican campaigns, Holz-Eakin said, “It’s the brand, and you don’t dilute the brand.”
Of course, this also means Sen. Barack Obama’s proposed “middle class tax cuts” are equally as foolish given the current state of the federal budget.
Meanwhile, Greg Mankiw notes the political futures markets don’t believe the tax cut rhetoric and predict there is a 74% chance McCain raises taxes if he’s elected president.”
McCain’s bailout vote reminded of the time during the democratic primary debate, that Hillary said she voted for a particular bill that she hoped would NOT pass. WTH? Obviously, McCain fumbled again. He’s fumbled away the presidency. Palin can’t prop him up anymore. It’s time for McCain to step up to the plate and be for something that he’s always been for. Instead he’s all over the place, changing his position weekly, lying daily, and making this election about Obama rather than himself. The last debate showed that McCain can’t even look Obama in the eye. What’s up with that? For McCain, a severe lack of confidence in oneself, that’s what’s up with that, as well as his guilt about his constant lying and misrepresentations, and abandoning his credo of straight talk to the American people. Even republican conservatives can’t trust him to do the right things. Too bad for the old guy.

Will Sarah Palin start embracing George Bush again since, he’s going to sign the 800+ billion bailout bill?
Sarah Palin kicked him to the curb during the debate.
Sarah Palin has no debating skills!
John McCain’s best days are behind
him.
they are still at it –scrambling to get all they can before electon—this bailout is the most disgusting piece of legislation ever——THE MIDDLE CLASS GETS THE SHAFT AGAIN ALONG WITH THE CORRUPT BILL AND COST.
ALL WE NEED IS ANOTHER REPUB ADMINISTRATION—-I GUESS THIRD WORLD STATUS WILL BE NEXT….
The equation is simple no matter what the candidate or party.
Spending must be frozen and then cut across the board. The whining and complaining will be loud, but the action is prudent and necessary.
Taxes must be raised across the board, not just for corporations and wealthy.
As the wealthy make more money, they will pay more taxes.
A flat tax of %10 will work as long as it is coupled with a spending freeze and cuts.
That includes bringing our troops home, not redeployment.
If not, get ready for “The Greatest and Final Depression.”
I now see that our outstanding, morally upright, ethical legislators don’t need a “spoonful of sugar to make the medicine go down,” (with all due apologies to the songwriters), just a few nice chunks of pork! Once again, the big corporations are bailed out while the average voter is left holding the bill!
Turn out the lights
The party’s over
They say that all
Good things must end
So let’s call it a night
The party’s over
Till tomorrow starts
The same old thing again.
