There is no issues because that speech writer never wrote for B. Obama but M. Obama, plus she is switching to Independent because of McCain’s nastiness. By the way McCain admitted that Obama is not a socialist.

I’d be suprised if anyone was expecting a durable commitment from an alien.Don’t forget he’s an alien. He’s just stirring up some kinda ‘loudspeaker said nothing’ noise. He brings nothing to the table. He’s an alien from the rear side of the moon.He can’t vote.End of story.
I suppose the news media is so hooked on the Obama kool-aide that their mind is gone and this is the best story they can come up with. They better hope that the health plan covers mental conditions and rehab.

Uh…
Didn’t anyone bother to tell the Alien of the Republican stance on “illegals”.
McCain & Palin will have this guy deported (unless, of course, he is part of their household staff — or in John’s case “households”…)
Or has this guy completed the requirements for US citizenship?

LOL cute! Look at McCains actions, he is so not sure about anything. Photo fits him perfect.
The illegal earth alien are for Obama though. He is going to take care of them and give them Social Security (even if they don’t pay in to it), allow them to have drivers licence, give them health coverage, etc.

Sarah PAlien has experience well beyond the borders of this earthly realm. After all, she can see distant stars from the porch of her Alaskan house! Her brilliant insights are well respected in Uranus.
See! I’ve been saying it all along. You just can’t trust that sneaky space alien!

Oh Pubs, get a freakin sense of humor for once. It was a joke and it came from the Weekly World News.
Posted by: Well, that changes my vote | October 30, 2008, 3:47 pm 3:47 pm
It makes perfect sense for the space alien to endorse McCain. Clearly under McCain like Bush America will become stretched militarily and economically. As well as fall behind in areas such as mathmatics and science. All the easier when his saucer brothern arrive to enslave the human race.
So Larry,
Are you saying this guy is an “legal” alien? And that’s why he supports Johnny?
Do you have any proof of his citizenship?
Or is this just another unsubstaniated claim coming from the Republican-side of things?
If he is illegal, he must be an even bigger bonehead that JtP.
Seems both of thse guys would be better served by Barry. (they’ll probably vote Obama… who’d know??? voting is a private thing)
But it probably shouldn’t impede a possible paid endorsement job. I mean we all know Joe isn’t really a plumber so he probably needs the cash. And the alien is probably having issues exchanging his alien currency and needs to save money for part to fix his ship and blow this sideshow of a planet…
I love you, JPT, but there are other things you can busy yourself with!
London Times: “…that Ms Onyango made a contribution to the Obama campaign would indicate that she is a US citizen.”
Three of the donations were for $5 apiece, and two of the donations were for $25. She listed her job as a volunteer resident health advocate. (Six hours a week?) Other records show she gave a total of $260 to the campaign.
Can you confirm her naturalization after eight years of moving stateside? Did she make her contribution in cash? Or was she able to contribute because the AVS for credit cards was turned off on Barack Obama’s website?
Thank you!

Not unexpectedly, Senator John McCain delivered an excellent smack down in re Barack Obama’s thirty minute infomercial wherein the Illinois Senator advertised his favorite product – Barack Obama.
But wait, there’s more! Hell has indeed frozen over. AP writer, Calvin Woodward, posted a story last night: Obama’s prime-time ad skips over budget realities. This from Associated Press? With board members and huge Obama supporters Murdoch and Zell? This is the same news organization that constantly touts “the One” and falsely reported that Hillary had conceded the morning of the last two primaries – when voters were just going to the polls. Larry: Part of Obama’s “ground game” is “volunteers” and/or paid staffers to “man the blogs”. Some of these folks are in “war room” settings monitoring the various websites and posting their Pro-Obama missives and spewing their “we hate republican” venom. It is what we have to look forward to…
What I’m wondering…is will they soon be part of this new “Civilian Security Force” that Obama has promised will be as equally funded as our military?
No journalist or reporter anywhere has even asked what this “Civilian Security Force” is all about. No one.
I am sfraid that the civilian security force is a pilot for government and military controlling everyone. Ther are a lot of examples of that. Look at Chavez. He is one of the Obama supporters. But this is what the 2nd ammendment was about in the constitution so maybe the people will open their eyes.

For that matter, Michelle, so are your Chicken Little-inspired fears about a “Civilian Security Force.”

Oh wait, it is ok to be friends with a terrorist as long as they served their time. You people kill me with your stupidity.

Crazy Republicans scare me.
Becky Maybe not every little detail about Obama’s past does not need to be revealed but surely his association with some of the questionable individuals should be made public. Michelle, you have hit it right on the nail. Sen. Obama said: “We cannot continue to rely only on our military in order to achieve the national security objectives that we’ve set. We’ve got to have a civilian national security force that’s just as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded.”
The United States military consists of about 1.4 million active-duty personnel. And the 2009 US military budget is over $500 billion. So Sen. Obama wants a civilian national security force that is at least 1.4 million strong and intends to spend $500 billion in order to fund this force. That is above the $1 trillion in new entitlements that he is proposing.
Wake up people! What national security objectives does Sen. Obama have that would require this much force in order to meet those objectives? It’s common sense folks!!! Whatever the objectives are, Sen. Obama obviously does not believe the American people will go along with these objectives, thus the need to force the American people into submitting to these objectives. WAKE UP AMERICA! Could it be that Sen. Obama wants a police state in order to shut down the opposition?

larry: if you have noticed Obama has not attacked McCain, only on his policies. Obama is a bigger person than McCain. Hands down.
Obama does not need a “civilian security force” which you can bet will be filled by criteria. He already has the national guard, coast guard, etc. thy does he need to have another unit that will be under his direct controll. sounds something like the Gestapo.

Every word Obama spoke on the night has been reported by the LA Times months ago.
So i think your being a little dishonest! Republicans are trying to create fear in FL Jews and its not going to work Obama got elected in the state senate thanks in large part to the trust placed in him and votes of Jewish Americans.. Mike, “every word” was not reported by the LA Times and you know it…so don’t give me this *lies* dodge…there is something to hide, otherwise, it wouldn’t be “confidential…”
you also know that the power of video is much greater than that of the printed word…what if Obama is sitting next to Ayers and chatting with him?
The whole “confidentiality” constraint smells like a Jayson Blair lie to me…I am sure we will find out a lot after Nov. 4…
But, most Obama supporters wouldn’t care if Obama was *in* the dang Weather Underground’s jr. section, anyway. That is a problem for me.
Mike NC:
Also, the Jewish vote is traditionally more democratic, so what’s the big whoop? I saw some stat today showing about 30% support for McCain, actually more than for Bush…I dunno…this election is confusing.
Wade
It wouldnt mean anything to me If Obama had sat with Ayers or not… Ayers has a past most people do.. He is now a teacher and by all acounts a good person now days! The whole Ayers issue means nothing to me.
EVERY Word Obama spoke on the stage has been reported in the LA Times…
I find this line of attack on Obama very stupid and insulting to Jewish Americans we are not stupid we are not going to be lead by fear!

Mike, I know you don’t care about Obama’s relationship with Ayers. I do. Ayers is like a member of the KKK to me.
Ayers’s acceptance by academia is an indictment of academia. I frankly don’t understand how Chicago forgave his murderous behavior…though I think a lot of grants are given based on vague statements, not personal vetting of politics…read the Annenberg challenge proposal and tell me if you can tell what the hell they were going to do…
He is not a “teacher” now, he is a professor who seeks to subtly influence our schools in order to effect a long-term shift toward more and more radical philosophy…and he has been somewhat successful. The “he’s a professor now” argument is weak.
Also, every word was not reported…where do you get that? Obama’s comments are clearly part of a larger speech as presented in the article. Again, why not release the tape? What are you afraid of?
I don’t think an Obama supporter would care if Obama himself set a bomb or two back in the day, not that he has.
However, don’t you find it ironic that George Bush has been vilified for allegedly using cocaine, yet Obama has admitted its use and it has not been a topic of discussion? I don’t care that he has, it’s just weird…
Just shows the level of devotion.
Yeah Mike NC, hope…criticism is fear-mongering…yadda, turn mind off, give in to hope. Only fear evil non-democrats…Cheney is Darth Vader, Bush = Hitler (but he is!!)…is that fear-mongering? We live in a police state…McCain is a fascist…yes, Mike, hope is on the way…sunshine and happy times…hooope…hooooope…
Saying you are the sole provider of hope and change to the exclusion of all other candidates is the most monolithically negative statement a campaign can create. Discuss.
I am getting the feeling that if Obama set some bombs with Ayers’s cohort when he was in college his followers would not care. In fact, I personally know a lot of left-leaning types who actually admire the Weather Underground and see it as a kind of radical chic that Obama has a connection to Ayers. So, enjoy!
Mike NC, did Clinton, Gore or Kerry say they wanted a civilian national security force? And did they propose it to be “as powerful, just as strong, just as well-funded” as our military?
Posted by: James Danley | October 30, 2008, 8:43 pm 8:43 pm
Mike NC, Bill Ayers is still a radical. He preaches his radical anti-America, anti-Capitalism philosophy to his college students. But even worse, Bill Ayers was hired by Mayor Daley of Chicago as a teachers’ trainer for the public schools in Chicago. He indoctrinates the teachers who are in turn expected to influence their students with his radical views.

Two months ago… I was on the fence about Obama.
Actually Obama kinda looks like he’s turned on. You can’t see his hands and he’s looking at it’s B**t.

Obama’s good friend Ayers wrote a book in 1974 and he dedicated it to Robert Kennedy’s murderer, Sir Han Sir Han. This is who Obama chooses to sit on boards with, work with ACORN , and write a blurb about one of Ayers books.
When he met Ayers, Obama wasn’t disgusted with him, like an average citizen would be, he didn’t question Ayers anti-american activities that bombed a police station and killed a police officer, bombed the pentagon, and a supreme court justices home with the family inside. He embraced Ayers and has been defending his erlationship and Ayers.
I don’t get it! Obama is friends with Khalidi and Rev Wright and endorsed by Hamas, Hezbollah, FARC, Iran and Venezuala and everyone thinks he is a god!
He wouldn’t even pass a security check to be his own body guard.

james, larry, wade: i guess all I can say is “I concur”… because for some reason, the other posts I wrote earlier this evening around 6:00 central time were deleted. And, they were just responses to other posts about the Civilian Security thing. But, whatever. Folks are getting a little testy.
Maybe this election isn’t quite as “in the bag” as we’re being led to believe?
watching: What else would you call them. They aren’t true American’s. Anyone who votes for Obama I classify them in the same category as Ayers, anti-american and hope they get a good taste of what will happen if Obama is elected. It will effect the working class people because he definately will raise taxes on all working American’s. There are no exceptions to his rule but he has all of you fooled by his sweet talk. The problem is this generation of college students that are suppose to be so educated are apparently as dumb as they come.

becky: Of course Obama is a bigger person than McCain, he’s taller but his brains are smaller. So if Obama wins the election we will have the three stooges controlling the white house and congress, Obama, Pelosi and Reid. And don’t forget Ayers, he will do the speeches for Obama when he has to talk to the public. Or maybe Ayers will be in his admistration.

david: Endorsements doesn’t mean you win the election voter’s choose the candidate. During the primaries the networks had Obama winning heavy in NH, OH, PA and NV however he lost and lost big. He never won a battleground state during the primaries. And Palin is not going anywhere. She has a bright future ahead of her and may run for the presidency in 2012.

Gee, it’s amazing to me just how many: Democratic party supporters, Republican party members, Independents (like me) and people of all stripes; not to mention: past policy makers, executives and other generally thought to be “smart” who would be “lauded” if their support were thrown behind the McCain-Palin campaign have all been “duped”, “fooled”, “bamboozled” or are “drunk on Obama Kool-Aid(tm)”. It’s amazing! There’s got to be a better way to dialog. People make choices for many different reasons, some good some not so good or even idiotic. But, I don’t think either candidate is trying to “fool” anyone in this campaign, unless if by “fool” you mean engage in hyperbolic rhetoric intended to incite an emotional vote. Oh wait! That’s both candidates…what’s the word?? Oh yeah, CAMPAIGNING! Get with it, please. There are only a few more days to go. Yaay!

Although as religionists, the Jewish population… the CHOSEN people… is super sharp, should they fall for
B O’s blitherings in the light of his connections with Khalidi, Hamas and Hezbelah. with Farrakhan and Auchi, and with his friends in Iran and Pakistan….they will be putting the fate of Israel in dire straits.
Be careful!
John McCain is definitely not the politician that Obama is….. but HE can be trusted!

e pluribus union:
Did you know that Sen. McCain, headed a foundation he helped found that funded Khalidi’s activities in the 90′s, if I recall correctly. Please background each candidate.
Take NOTHING at face value. They are BOTH politicians, and Sen. McCain has been one for a longer period. That’s not to imply that Sen. Obama is not a studied pol. I’m just saying, there are only a few days to go, can the hyperbole. Your not convincing anyone here (I don’t think) vent as you like, but play up the strengths of your chosen candidate.
As an aside, it really is not appropriate, imho, to imply that an entire demographic is unintelligent if there isn’t total agreement with your p.o.v. Encourage exploration and gaining knowledge of the *facts*, don’t denigrate. jeeze!
Posted by: The InfoBro | October 31, 2008, 3:27 am 3:27 am
We are ALREADY seeing what kind of a president Sen. Obama will make. Sen. Obama purged the reporters of newspapers that have endorsed Sen. McCain from his plane. And earlier this week the Obama campaign banned WFTV in Florida for asking Sen. Biden a question he didn’t like. Sen. Obama does NOT like opposition. These will not be the last purges. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Remember it was President Clinton’s White House staff that was found with the FBI files of 1,000 prominent Republicans. Could that be why Sen. Obama needs a one million member civilian national security force with a funding of $500 billion. It wouldn’t take his civilian national security force very long to create a file on EVERY American. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Those of you who, wrongly, believe that President Bush has stripped you of your rights, may soon see what it really means to have your rights stripped away should Sen. Obama be elected. WAKE UP AMERICA!
Posted by: James Danley | October 31, 2008, 9:55 am 9:55 am
This is what kind of president OBAMA will be:
So OBAMA wants to take the extra money that hard working people have made through self sacrifice and give it to the TRULY Selfish – lazy, undisciplined people because it evidently is not “FAIR” for someone to succeed and become prosperous (such as immigrant families who have come here searching for “the AMERICAN dream”) unless he were to “GIVE” (through the GOVERNMENT’S demanding… ‘Marxism’… FREE COUNTRY?? Life, Liberty, and the PERSUIT of Happiness (pursuit means to search diligently for oneself)) to the less fortunate half his earnings.
So, I ask you… If it isn’t “FAIR” for one person to have more than another, and if he STILL chooses to do so, then he needs to give more to others — then how come OBAMA hasn’t given McCain HALF of his BILLION campaign dollars??? Oh, I see… you only have to give HALF your money, if you are REPUBLICAN.
Actually, I don’t think I feel like working today, so I will just go ahead and quit my job (since I will only be collecting half my salary anyway) and let the GOVERNMENT take care of me and stay home and watch OPRAH because we all know she got where she is today by doing nothing…

I am amazed once again. I did not realize the POTUS was so powerful that the other branches of the gov’t merely acquiesced to the desires of the executive…oh no wait…yeah we did have that for a good number of the last eight years.
The hyperbole is really lame. Give it a rest, please. Check your facts, too, it’s rife with inconsistencies and misinformation. Unless that is your intent; source your claims.

Mike NC:
You do the same. I read such sites and articles constantly.
It shows that when you have no response other than that, I won.
I drink your milkshake!
I am merely trying to demonstrate that hard work is how our great country became great – the right to the PURSUIT of happiness, not the guarantee for a hand-out, OR the ENTITLEMENT to suckle off the government “teat” when our lives’ decisions haven’t been the best. The only way you learn to make better decisions, is by wrong choices with consequences that hurt… Stifling entrepreneurism with more government control will surely be detrimental to this wonderful way of life, with all its creature comforts, that we have all come to love, and that my friend, is the SCARIEST of truths.

It makes perfect sense for the space alien to endorse McCain. Clearly under McCain like Bush America will become stretched militarily and economically. As well as fall behind in areas such as mathmatics and science. All the easier when his saucer brothern arrive to enslave the human race.
Posted by: freedomfighter1975 | October 30, 2008, 3:51 pm 3:51 pm
So Larry,
Are you saying this guy is an “legal” alien?

This is the same news organization that constantly touts “the One” and falsely reported that Hillary had conceded the morning of the last two primaries – when voters were just going to the polls. becky: donald’s comments are along the lines of what I was referencing–although his are more of the “insult and deflect” method–as opposed to the outright namecalling.
And..for the record becky…shame is a two-way street in this election cycle…there is plenty to go around.

Let’s see, who do you say is biased?
ABC
Associated Press
CBS
Christian Science Monitor
CNN
C-SPAN
Los Angeles Times
NBC
New York Times
New York Daily News
Newsday
Newsweek
MSNBC
Reuters
Time
United Press International
Washington Post
Weekly World News(!)
And who do you say is “fair”?
The Drudge Report
Fox News
Yep, that all makes sense! Eveyone in the media who doesn’t agree with you is biased. Wait – it couldn’t be YOU that’s biased, could it???

Becky Libby was involved in “Watergate”. that was really violent stuff, right? Just about on par wth the “weathermen” bombing the white house, the pentagon, etc. right. Go to wikipedia type in “weathermen” see what it has to say and then go to the links down below and click the link to see what actions the “weathermen” were involved in!!

Joel: Your post indicates an acknowledgement that ALL of those media outlets are, in fact, biased in one form or another. The long list at the top lean to the left…and the short list at the bottom lean toward the right.
Finally, something we can agree on.

Beck you are thinking of G Gordon Liddy, who was involved in the Watergate break-in and has among other things called for the Brookin Institute to be bombed and for headshots at body armored ATF agents.
Scooter Libby is the traitor who exposed an undercover CIA agent to cover up falsified intelligence that led us to the Iraq War,

I saw an interview with McCain, he was asked about Liddy and he admitted to still being very close friends with this man, he also said, because it was alright to be friends with him because he served his time.
Crazy Republicans scare me.

Becky Maybe not every little detail about Obama’s past does not need to be revealed but surely his association with some of the questionable individuals should be made public. About Liddy you can bet that the Dems had the facts about Liddy and would have pursued it if they thought it could be used to their advantage,

Obama does not need a “civilian security force” which you can bet will be filled by criteria. He already has the national guard, coast guard, etc. thy does he need to have another unit that will be under his direct controll. sounds something like the Gestapo.

However, IF McCain pulls the upset of the century, if all the polls have been weighting wrong or predicting past behavior or whatever (doubtful, I know, don’t rub it in, please) I will be mightily entertained…
Either way, it will be exciting on Tuesday.
As Jefferson said in 1800 (paraphrasing from bad memory here), the peaceful transfer of power in the worst of times is the most important achievement of a republic.

So, enjoy!

Yaay!
