The Republican Jewish Coalition has released a video in which comedian Jackie Mason responds to comedian Sarah Silverman’s push to have young Jews go down to Florida to urge their grandparents to vote for Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill.

"If Barack Obama doesn’t become the next president of the United States, I’m going to blame the Jews," Silverman says in the video, speaking on behalf of The Great Schlep, saying that older Jewish grandparents in Florida may be reluctant to vote for a candidate with a "scary" sounding Muslim name.

Mason, a supporter of Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., kvetched that Silverman "didn’t tell you one good reason to vote for him," faulting Silverman for implying Obama opponents are bigots.

"She’s a sick yenta for mentioning it," he said.
