McCain’s Brazilian Ex-Flame Raised By Campaign As Evidence of Experience in Latin America
Sen. John McCain’s 77-year-old ex-flame Maria Gracinda Teixeira was cited this week by McCain’s campaign as evidence of his experience in Latin America.
The Miami Herald reports that McCain foreign policy advisor Richard Fontaine at an Americas Conference panel on the candidates’ Latin American policies said, ”Talking a little about his personal experience, he was famously born in Panama and has traveled all over the hemisphere for many years. In fact, I saw, I guess it was last week, that his old girlfriend in Brazil has been found from his early days when he was in the Navy and was interviewed. She’s a somewhat older woman now than she was then, but it sorta speaks to the long experience he has had in the region — in the most positive terms.”
Teixeira recently recalled that she called then-sailor McCain "John but also my darling and my sweet coconut. He was a great kisser. I liked it so much that I bought a book to learn how to kiss myself.”
Fontaine clarified to the Herald that ”The only thing I was trying to convey was that his experience goes back a long way. He was born in Panama, which illustrates a lifetime spent in Latin America. He has known a lot of people. The thing about the Brazilian girlfriend was in his first memoir, and it stuck in my brain. Look at the two candidates and contrast his extensive experience. That’s the only point I was trying to make.”
Then later still, Fontaine said he’d been making "a bad attempt at humor."
Ay-yay-yay.

DNC to Silence Lawsuit over Obama Birth Certificate: According to WorldNetDadily, Drew Zahn, a prominent Pennsylvania Democrat and attorney Philip J. Berg filed suit in U.S. District Court two months ago claiming Obama is not a natural-born U.S. citizen and therefore not eligible to be elected president.
Berg has since challenged Obama publicly that if the candidate will simply produce authorized proof of citizenship, he’ll drop the suit. Berg told WND the longer the DNC tries to ignore his lawsuit or make it go away – instead of just providing the documents – the more convinced he is that his accusations are correct.
Despite assertions by the Washington Post and DNC that Obama has produced a certified Hawaiian birth certificate, Berg told WND he remains “99.99 percent sure” that the certificate is a fake and he wants a court, not a website, to determine its validity. Read the WND report … [Oct. 4, 2008].

A federal judge has ordered that Barack Obama produce within 3 days:
1. surrender a “vault” version (certified copy of his “original” long version)) of his Birth Certificate; and
2. a Certified Version of Obama’s Certificate of Citizenship;
3. a Certified Version of Obama’s Oath of Allegiance

I think that Obama’s case has a lot more validity than seeing a country from your house or a lad that is just sowing his oats.
Obama was actually learning about the country and living in the culture. I myself lived abroad for 5 years and the information I gain about the country was invaluable.

From the above, I assumed that your parent(S) are US Citizen, right?
You missed the point. Here are the requirements:
Citizenship is one of the most coveted gifts that the U.S. government can bestow, and the most important immigration benefit that USCIS can grant. Most people become U.S. citizens in one of two ways:
1. By birth, either within the territory of the United States or to U.S. citizen parents, or
2. By Naturalization.

That is not true.
Being born to American citizen parents(only need one) makes one a citizen but it does not mean they are natural born.
You can also be a citizen being born in a US territory.
I doubt it will be an issue but the question of whether such people are natural born has never really been settled as a matter of law.

Obama’s lead is still growing after the debate. He now leads in Florida, Pennsylvania, Virgina.. RCP official electoral map has it at 264 for Obama to 163 for McSame with about with 111 toss up. Out of the toss up States, Obama leads in Colorado by 4.5%, Florida by 3% and Virgina by 2.4% and Ohio by 2% and Nevada by 1.8%. He is also leading in NC, and IN. It is over, Obama also leads in EVERY National poll with them averaging 5.8% lead. BYE BYE NEOCONA!!, I am giving away door to door Obama signs and people can not get enough of them..

do not let the liars take us down the same road we have been fooled on for 8 years.
throw these bums out
it is our national and patriotic duty to not let liars destroy for a 9th year
and as these post and the lies clearly show…
that is exactly what McCain and Palin are planning
(see half of her “facts” from the debate ugh)

MORE information from factcheck.org:
“In fact, the conspiracy would need to be even deeper than our colleagues realized. In late July, a researcher looking to dig up dirt on Obama instead found a birth announcement that had been published in the Honolulu Advertiser on Sunday, Aug. 13, 1961:
[factcheck has a picture of the birth announcement here]
The announcement was posted by a pro-Hillary Clinton blogger who grudgingly concluded that Obama “likely” was born Aug. 4, 1961 in Honolulu.
Of course, it’s distantly possible that Obama’s grandparents may have planted the announcement just in case their grandson needed to prove his U.S. citizenship in order to run for president someday. We suggest that those who choose to go down that path should first equip themselves with a high-quality tinfoil hat. The evidence is clear: Barack Obama was born in the U.S.A.”

We PUMA’s are answering the polls and saying that we will vote Obama. In November we are voting for McCain/Palin. Obama will receive a defeat that he was not expecting. We are millions strong.

PUMA is French for “Spit on Lilly Ledbetter and all working women”
JOHN MCCAIN OPPOSED THE LILLY LEDBETTER FAIR PAY ACT.
JOHN MCCAIN OPPOSES WOMAN MAKING THEIR OWN MORAL CHOICES REGARDING THEIR BODIES EVEN IN CASES OF RAPE OR INCEST.
Background on Lilly Ledbetter:
Of all the appalling decisions the Roberts Court issued last year, one of the worst was the 5-4 ruling in Ledbetter v. Goodyear, which gutted the equal-pay provisions of the Civil Rights Act and overturned a decades-old employment-law precedent.
The plaintiff, Lilly Ledbetter, worked for nearly two decades at a Goodyear Tire plant in Gadsden, Alabama. She brought an Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) complaint against Goodyear after she discovered that for years she had been paid less than male co-workers with the same job. The justices ruled that employees can only file a wage-discrimination complaint within 180 days of when the payroll decision was made.
After the Supreme Court issued its decision, which leaves women and minorities in Ledbetter’s situation with no recourse, congressional Democrats pledged to pass legislation that would give employees two years to file a complaint, in accordance with the law before the Supreme Court issued its decision.

If John McSame wanted to pass a bill in 2005, HE had everyone he needed to do so. See when you have a majority and the President, nothing can stop you except yourselves. The Republicans are responsible for the entire financial and economic disaster we face. PERIOD!!

Seriously?
This has got to stop. Fred Thompson said John had a stripper. His daughter talked about a hooker or someone like that he used to see.
If this was Bill Clinton, we’d all be disgusted. BC was way too sexually active for the nation’s comfort.
Here with McCain, we are supposed to believe because he was born in Panama and had a fling of some sort in Brazil that he has foreign policy experience? Didn’t the Republicans hit Obama over the head because he said his time living abroad gave him an appreciation of other cultures and some of the issues associated with foreign affairs?
Either that rule is good on both counts or it doesn’t work in either context. Also, what is it with this 73 year old man trying to tell us about his sexual history as a glorious past? If we don’t want men in their 40s and 50s having a sexual appetite, why is it ok to reflect on McCain’s past, present or future appetite?
How does that serve as a qualification?
Posted by: Genna | October 4, 2008, 12:23 pm 12:23 pm
McCain was born in the Canal Zone which was under U.S. control due to a treaty. The country of Panama had been part of Colombia but the U.S. backed a rebellion so it could get a canal there when the price became too high for one in Nicaragua. We took over the failed work a of a French company and held the canal until the Carter administration.

McCain was born in Panama. The Panama Canal was the reason his dad was there.
Teddy Roosevelt built the Panama Canal.
Teddy is McCain’s favorite President.
The Panama Canal shortened the maritime boundary between the United States and the Alaskan boundary with Russia. Therefore Palin is a perfect new flame for McCain.

Sounds very much like Sarah Palin saying that she has foreign policy credentials because she lives near Russia. When are these kind of stupid arguments going to stop?
This election cycle, the Republicans have brought a level of populism and demagoguery that I thought possible only in third world countries.
What would the Republicans be saying if it were Mr Obama who tied himself up into logical knots every time he ran out of talking points? I am sure they would be railing against affirmative action.
There is an expression in French call “betail electoral”. Republicans treated the Mid West as a betail electoral, the same way the Democrats have done with the African Americans for decades. So, in wanting to keep their betail electoral, this party is willing to put an unqualified person on their ticket simply because she speak like the average American, even if its undermines their core principals. But again they just voted in favor of the bailout. Is there any further proof that these guys stand for principles?

No wonder the campaign has to resort to experience as “see Russia from my window” and “screwing a South American” for examples of experience. What poor strategy even when one has no record of doing any good and is tanking because even we, ordinary everyday Americans, and not just the “joe six-pack” can see the writing on the wall. First off, Brazil is not a latin country. It is of portueguese, African, and Indian heritage. The term “Latin” means to those countries whose population and heritage come from the Spain. Secondly, since when do your personal flings give you presidential experience? I hope that’s not the case b/c this country would be run by the Maury Povich crowd.
