Comments on: Palin Calls for Stevens to Step Down

while so many of you are touting Obama as our economic messiah who is going to help the middle class so much, I would like to remind you of an article the New York Times (admittedly a newspaper with Democratic leanings) ran in 1999. The article warned that Bill Clinton was pressuring mortgage companies to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans.
At the time the article was run, Barack Obama was working for an organization in Chicago pressuring banks and mortgage companies to do the same thing. One party–the Republican party–tried repeatedly to tighten up the rules, but were blocked by a Democratic majority in Congress.
Isn’t it convenient, now that those disastrous decisions have finally caused everything to come crashing down, that you have Bush to point the finger at, and Obama to “save” us?? And while we’re at it, let’s bash Palin all we can, too.

LOL @ every comment saying Palin should take her own advice consiering she was just found guilty of abusing her power as governor, but thought the outcome was great, and embarrassed Alaska by saying so. LOLOLOL @ the GOP ticket. Poor McCain, he wasn’t so bad before all of this began. Stupid mistakes he has made by selecting her.

If Stevens does win the election and steps down November 5th, Palin can pronounce herself as his replacement for the remainder of his current and next term.

palin, palin. why didn’t you resign from the ticket when the legislative investigation found you guilty of abusing power as governor of alaska? that is corruption too and you as well as stevens are in the same bucket labeled, corruption. if mccain loses the election, he will have palin to thank for it. of course, mccain will also have helped defeat himself too.

I just finished listening to Sarah Palin’s speech, and it’s was scary. She kept saying “Free People.” This is probably what politicans were saying back in the mid 1800s. We all know how certain groups of people and women were suppressed during that time.
She is sabre rousing. Why is she soo divisive? She would be more liked if she was a uniter.

Can you imagine the audacity of palin to ask steven to resign? Its like a kettle calling a pot black. palin should instead step down as a nominee for vice president. She did worst things than steven as a mayor and a governor. She has no moral grounds whatsoever to ask anyone to resign. She has made history as the first candidate running for vice presidency to be indicted of a crime. SHAME ON YOU PALIN!!

It was on the national news this morning that Kansas has the lowest prices for gas and Alaska has the highest.
