Actually, Sen. Obama promised to cut taxes and to “fix” social security. The problem I have with those promises is:
(a) They are mutually exclusive – you can’t do both; and
(b) The next president will inherit a huge debt – there’s no way you can cut taxes like that.
So, my question is this – is Sen. Obama just naive (which scares me) or is he just saying whatever it takes to get elected (which actually scares me more). Does anyone else think it’s creepy that Obama has a channel on 24/7 all about him and that there are small children singing songs of praise on a video for him and that there are many Obama Youth groups in school that wear military gear? All of this is too reminiscent of the communist countries who brainwash their kids. I’ve seen similiar video from Cuba, North Korea and China. It’s very eerie when I see a video just like it with American children.
I sense our country is going to go in a different direction if Obama is elected, just not the direction our fore fathers planned.

Richard Nixon inspired my interests in conspiracy theories.(heh) I’ve been fascinated with this campaign and had this gnawing feeling about it, since the beginning, that I just couldn’t figure out. So I started reading and researching as much as I had time for. There are just too many coincidences in this unraveling tale of Obama, going back to his Mother, Father, and Franklin Marshal Davis; Ayers/WU, Ali Abunimah, Rashid Khalidi, Saul Alinksy, The Woods Foundation, CAC, ACORN, Public Allies, Cloward-Piven Strategy, Occidental, Columbia U, Pakistan, Harvard. The visual and emotional focus/nature of his campaign. Things don’t just happen, they happen for a reason. IMO he is a tool for anarchists. A Manchurian candidate. Oh! Is that too strong? Sorry. It’s how I see it.

So many people are afraid of Obuma and his thugs….be cool go along and vote in private.

Another Associate
Nadhami Auchi, a former Baathist party member and close confidant Of Saddam Hussein, was tried along with Hussein for the assassination plot against the Iraqi Prime Minister Abdul Karim Qasim in 1959.
After leaving Iraq in 1979, Auchi formed the General Mediterranean Holdings company which was the largest private shareholder in the Banque Nationale de Paris. BNP later merged with Paribas to form BNP Paribas. At the insistence of Saddam Hussein, billions of dollars from the Oil For Food tranactions would be funneled through the company from it’s inception in 1995 to 2001. As a result, millions of dollars were diverted for Saddam Hussein to curry favor with the UN, possibly reaching all the way up to Kofi Annan’s son. This was exposed in 2004 by the Iraqi newspaper Al-Mada which published a list of 270 Food For Oil beneficiaries. In 2003 Auchi was convicted of fraud; he is currently appealing the charge.
Auchi is linked to Obama through Tony Rezko. It is believed that Rezko contacted Obama to help Auchi obtain a visa to enter the US in 2005 after being denied a visa the previous year. It has not been proven at this time and Obama has denied helping Auchi. As of Feb 2008 the Times of London has reported that “state documents in Illinois recording that Fintrade Services, a Panamanian company, lent money to (an) Obama fundraiser in May 2005. Fintrade’s directors include Ibtisam Auchi, the name of Mr. Auchi’s wife.” Auchi also transferred 3.5 million dollars to Rezko in order to invest in Rezko’s 62 acres of prime real estate in Chicago’s south loop. Apparently Obama and Auchi met at a party in 2004, however Obama has no recollection of meeting Auchi.

Ours is a country which recognizes the right of any individual to hold any opinion he or she wishes. Ayers is very radical and sees an oppressive government developing in our country. It’s his right to think that. He may be wrong, but so may we.
To attack someone because of the opinions of the people who are (REALLY, EXTREMELY, UNDENIABLY LOOSELY) associated with him is unamerican. I’m friends with hispanics, african americans, jews, Christians, Democrats, Republicans, hippies, and a host of other different “brands” of people.

let me get this straight, Obama lives near a guy who was not convicted of any crime but was asoosicated with some people who were 40 years ago and this is questionable? You know, you can go back, I have written a book about McCain, I had a dozen researchers go through him, I didn’t even put this in the book. But John McCain sat on the board of a very right-wing organization, it was the U.S. Council for World Freedom, it was chaired by a guy named John Singlaub, who wound up involved in the Iran contra scandal. It was an ultra conservative, right-wing group. The Anti-Defamation League, in 1981 when McCain was on the board, said this about this organization. It was affiliated with the World Anti-Communist League – the parent organization – which ADL said “has increasingly become a gathering place, a forum, a point of contact for extremists, racists and anti-Semites.”

If Obama’s plan works and he steals this election, like he’s done with his senate seat, my family has already dicussed moving to another country. If my state of Texas tries to secede, I might consider staying. Obama will not be my president, might as well move to China or North Korea if I stay and watch him turn us into a communist country. Kids are already being indoctrinated in the schools and he’s got his own channel that runs 24/7.

The financial markets must be free and without strict government regulations that endorses easy credit to any person, but especially to unqualified persons. Obama does not know how to execute a proper financial plan because he does not have the credentials to be anything more than an attorney. Obama is a person of indecision because he does not have proper executive experience.

As someone who has written critically of John McCain on a host of issues, including the Keating Five, none of it compares to the life that Barack Obama has led and his belief system. Obama is not merely associated with domestic terrorists, Palestinian radicals, Marxists, and black liberation ideologues — he was their favorite candidate. They groomed him. They befriended him. He befriended them. He socialized with them. In other words, these people saw Obama as representing their views and aspirations and he saw them the same way. These miscreants include Obama’s former pastor, political mentors and allies, and friends. Obama attempts to downplay and distance himself from his own circle of allies now that he is running for president. But he is one of them. William Ayers, “Former” Radical??
Stories at Politico and ABC refer to William Ayers as a “former radical,” but wouldn’t Ayers need to disavow his Sixties extremism to be a “former” radical? He infamously told the New York Times in a story published on September 11, 2001, that he regretted not setting more bombs. As late as April 2008, he publicly railed against “terrorism” being committed by the U.S. military and called for a “revolution” against capitalism. Andrew Ferguson wrote in his TWS cover story on Hyde Park (“Mr. Obama’s Neighborhood,” June 11):
As it happened, I’d spent the evening before reading Ayers’s blog, and lingered over a manifesto he posted in early April, after his friendship with Obama became national news. “I’ve never advocated terrorism,” Ayers wrote, “never participated in it, never defended it. The U.S. government, by contrast, does it routinely and defends the use of it in its own cause consistently.” Capitalism, he went on, “is exhausted as a force for progress: built on exploitation, theft, conquest, war, and racism, capitalism and imperialism must be defeated and a world revolution–a revolution against war and racism and materialism, a revolution based on human solidarity and love” and so on.
In that same blog post, Ayers wrote:
“A bombing in a café in Israel is terrorism, and an Israeli assault on a neighborhood in Gaza is terrorism; the September 11 attacks were acts of terrorism, and the U.S. bombings in Viet Nam for a decade were acts of terrorism.”
William Ayers–a man who had once plotted to kill hundreds of U.S. soldiers and their dates at a dance at Fort Dix–is still a left-wing radical who thinks that U.S. troops in Vietnam were the real terrorists. There’s no indication that he ever tried to keep his radical beliefs secret–and there’s every indication that Obama knew that Ayers was a terrorist who had not repented for his deeds when the two teamed up as political allies in Chicago and became “friends.”
Just because the Obama campaign and the media want to say that Ayers is “now mainstream” doesn’t make it so.

Because global financial markets are woven in a complex web, turmoil in one sector is felt elsewhere. Some wounded financial companies are desperately selling healthy stocks to raise capital to stay afloat, and this heavy selling pressure is forcing down the price of these stocks. The New York Times had an interesting op-ed article on this subject on Sept. 14 titled “Too Few Regulations? No, Just Ineffective Ones” by Tyler Cowen, an economics professor at George Mason University.
One of Cowen’s best observations was “financial regulation has produced a lot of laws and a lot of spending but poor priorities and little success in using the most important laws to head off a disaster. The pattern is reminiscent of how legislators often seem more interested in building new highways – which are highly visible projects – than in maintaining old ones.”
He also pointed out that 70,000 new pages of federal regulations in a single year is not an uncommon feat, and that the inflation-adjusted spending by the federal agencies regulating banking and finance has gone up more than 40 percent since 1990.
New rules are what Washington knows how to do best – it’s how legislators measure their worth. And while there are times when new regulations make sense, this isn’t one of those times.
Hearing the solutions offered by Obama and Biden today reduces my confidence in the Democrats. The Democrats do not having the knowledge or the imagination to take on the biggest economic crisis in America since the 1930s.
Under Herbert Hoover, taxes were raised, trade protectionism increased, and the money supply contracted. Sound familiar? Obama’s tax hikes and trade protectionism are Hooveresque and a reminder of the great depression of 1929.

Obama also played dirty pool against the woman that was going to run for the senate seat. They interviewed her on TV months ago. You’ll see that the quotes from the article that was published on Sept. 11, 2001 were taken completely out of context and the article was completely distorted. Do you know anything about Bill Ayers? He was indeed a radical in the 60′s who set bombs that never killed anyone. In fact, the only casualties where those of other Weather Underground members who blew themselves up making bombs. Does it matter to anyone that the charges against him were dropped? That he went on to get a Ph.D. and now serves as a distinguished professor at at state University in Illinois? Or that he works to help those in poverty in Chicago? Take a look at yourselves, people. Are you without regrets? Without sins? One could argue that he’s doing everything he can now to make up for what he did back then.
My father-in-law was a yippie/weatherman back in the 60s and protested the vietnam war. He served time for some of the things he did, but he also dedicated his life to public service after prison and he cared for my mother-in-law while she was dying of cancer.
