Somebody better take her by the hand and show her how. She is as flaky as they come. I feel sorry for someone as pathetic as she is, couldn’t carry on a question and answer session to save her soul

Well, since she would NEVER fly at taxpapers’ expense, we can only assume she’ll be riding her broom . . .

I personally think that she has spunk, and is a breath of fresh Alaskan air. Everyone that says that she is just a govenor and not qualified for the job as VP or even President, should remember that Bill Clinton was also just a govenor, and he became president. His state was much smaller and he certainly had a “past” in Arkansas and continued his antics in Washington. Give her some credit for all of her accomplishments, which are very credible.

Good. That way she can just stay there, because it’s over for them. Alaska can have her!

How much fuel is she using??? Maybe vote by mail? What does it cost to fly to AK and back to AZ in one day. She sure knows how to save (spend) money.

All we can hope for and pray for is that the people who are on the fence come to their senses and vote Obama/Biden. Actually, with the lastest buzz…it may be that Ms. Palen votes Obama so she can take a run at it in four years instead of eight. God help us if the McCain/Palin ticket are elected. Ira the hopeful.

Update America:
PRINCETON, NJ — A Gallup update based on more than 21,000 interviews conducted as part of Gallup Poll Daily tracking in October shows that registered voters’ religious intensity continues to be a powerful predictor of their presidential vote choice. John McCain wins overwhelmingly among non-Hispanic whites who attend church weekly, while Barack Obama dominates among whites who seldom or never attend church.
Non Hispanic White that attend church weekly: Obama 28%…..McCain 65%
White Hispanic White that attend church weekly: Obama 43%…McCain 46%
Looks like Mr. Wright using the name of God in vain, Obama and Pastor Joel Hunter praying to (false) GODS lost the race to control religious people that believe in one GOD. AMEN.

I’m A male Democrat who is ashamed at the vicious, hateful, spiteful and sexist expressions of Democrats towards Governor Palin. It’s all from the same left over Kumba Ya hippies who don’t see or hear their own hateful energies.
If you don’t like Gov Palin then don’t vote for her; but hate and spite and sexism only demonstrates hypocrisy.

The word up here is that she forgot to request absentee ballots (like she said she would last week)by the deadline.
So now the campaign is going to spend tens of thousands to fly her from the East to Alaska and then on to AZ.
Could have been out rallying the troops.

NJVoter: I completely agree with you! The people that say that Sarah Palin doesn’t have enough experience have forgotten that Bill Clinton had no experience either and he was only a governor when he was elected president! He was also just as unknown and he was just a country boy from Hope, Arkansas! Hope is a small town of about the same size as Wasilla, Alaska! Hillary had no experience when she was elected US senator either! I know she does have a law degree but until she was elected her only experience was being a governor’s wife and then first lady! She had no real political experience! Also Bill and Hillary were not without scandal either when Bill was elected. I remember the Whitewater real estate scandal that they were involved in in Arkansas! Hasn’t anyone ever wondered why they didn’t return to Arkansas after Bill’s term as president was over? Also why didn’t Hillary run for the senate from Arkansas or from her own home state of Illinois? Why did they move to New York and not Arkansas or Illinois? Am I the only one who thinks it’s strange that they didn’t move back to Arkansas or Illinois? Could it be that they’re not welcome in their own home states?

SCSuperman: You’re right! Kerry was ahead in all the polls! We know how that election turned out don’t we? I’m voting for McCain\Palin in spite of what the polls say! They’ve been wrong before!

I vote at Wasilla City Hall and since she lives a few miles away I assume that is where Sarah votes too. What a media circus that will be Tuesday morning. She flies in at great expense to cast her vote at city hall and visits her old mayoral office…… So I did what any sane diehard, pro choice, educated female democrat would do: I voted early at another location! Straight democratic ticket: Prez, VP, US Rep and Sen, State Rep and Sen.

Bet ya she doesn’t come back. What not an absentee ballot since she knew she’d be gone? Bet ya they’re sending her there because it’s over, and they want her gone.

NJ Voter, Nice try.
Sarah Palin does have spunk and other admirable qualities. But it is absurd to compare her experience to that of Bill Clinton.
I despise Bill Clinton, but the man was governor for 12 years before becoming president. He also was Arkansas’ attorney general for two years.
That’s a lot more experience than Sarah Palin has — mayor of a small town and then governor for less than two years.
Oh, and Arkansas had a population of 2.35 million in 1990. Alaska’s current population is 670,000 — smaller than that of many American cities.
The woman simply isn’t qualified for the high office that she seeks. And it isn’t just lack of experience: She is profoundly ignorant of national and international issues.
John McCain could have made a much better choice of running mate. If he did, I think he would be our next president.

Barack Obama might be ahead in the polls but he shouldn’t start moving into the white house yet! He just might have to move right back out again! The polls have been wrong before! The silent majority haven’t voted yet!
Posted by: carlyonsue | October 30, 2008, 1:23 am 1:23 am
So she’s using taxpayer dollars for a final flight on her campaign jet to get back home and vote. Shouldn’t that at least be worth her own funds?
Posted by: rogerthomas | October 30, 2008, 11:27 am 11:27 am
For all of you who wax poetic about Sarah, I have lived in Alaska for 24 years and knew from the get-go that she was totally out to lunch! Sorry folks, the republican right loves her because there are so many of her type in Alaska, but the folks who think outside the box recognize her for who she is. And, she is scary to a fault! Not to mention, not at all qualified. Be afraid, be very afraid.
Posted by: Judyann | October 30, 2008, 11:33 am 11:33 am
Yes, Clinton was just another governor, but of 2 terms, and a Oxford scholar, and knowledgeable about international affairs. Palen pales in the shadows of the Alaskan nights; issues are only something to her that are based on religion, homely metaphors, and run on sentences without questions. She has a journalism degree like our Gov. Lingle in Hawaii; both only report and react to the news. I’m voting for the intelligent person who has carefully thought out the issues, Barack Obama.

I can only laugh when people compare the size of states. Sure Alaska is clearly the “largest” state in the country. But come on people, it has around 400,000 people at most! Most of the state is wilderness, and doesn’t take up much of her time to manage. She basically runs a few little cities and towns along the coastal areas.
I’ll bet it’s much more difficult to govern a state like Alaska. For her to claim Alaska as the largest state is quite misleading if she’s trying to make land mass a reason to impress people.
And about sexisim, when I decided to vote for Obama, I asked myself this: If Obama was a white man, would I vote for him? The answer was a definate “yes”! Being from the South, I had to overcome the vestiges of being brought up somewhat racist. Anyway, when I make decisions about Palin, I do the same thing. I don’t care if she’s a woman or not, or if she’s pretty or not, or if she spends lots of money on clothes. Instead, I read the investigation of the trooper Wooten case in Alaska. It took a long time to read, and it clearly showed me that if elected, and if Palin acts as VP the way she does as governor, that she will abuse her power way more than Cheney could ever dream about. I also judge Palin on what she says, what she knows and doesn’t know.
I use discernment in making my decisions. Is she just using catch phrases or does she really have a sense of what it takes to lead this country, or at least preside over the Senate?
I find her a bit nuts, to tell the truth. If you haven’t read the investigation report, then you should before you vote for her. Dave M.

OOPS! In my last post, I meant to say that it’s probably harder to govern a state like Arkansas. I accidentally wrote “Alaska”, the state I was comparing it to.
