This race is tightening. They always do.
McCain will win.
NOBAMA. Obama is NOT qualified to be a U.S. Senator let alone President of the United States.
Country first, party second.
THIS Democrat will proudly vote for John McCain in 08 and Hillary 2012.
My party foolishly nominated the wrong candidates.
Hold em accountable. The DNC, the media.
Vote NOBAMA.
JOIN ME!
The media has invested in Obama for two years, they refuse to acknowledge that Obama is sinking in the polls.

Hey S; if you really think the DNC unfairly treated Hillary, and they are so for Obama…You do realize Obama will be the nominee in 2012 again right? Even if he loses, you still wont be able to vote for your sweet Hillary! LOL

The Republicans have had their chance but if you are happy with the way things are vote Republican.
As for me, I’m ready for some real change, vote Obama.

“Quality” polls.
Still worried about losing that seat Jake? does a writer for the ACORN newsletter need a seat?

Posted by: GEEVILL | October 31, 2008, 12:14 pm 12:14 pm

S,
I would love to know your motives for voting for someone like McCain who has given you no legitimate reason to vote for him other than if you like negative politics. I also think that he is able to attract those who hold onto old views and biases that really should not exist in 2008. People who do not want change ‘no matter what’ can’t care about their families or their own fate especially if you think and realize that Bush politics would continue. It would be business as usual as people watch their 401 (k)s disappear.
So good luck to you but Obama is WAY ahead in the polls and I don’t know what planet you are living on but face reality. We will more than likely have an Obama administration. Oh yeah, NO MCCAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! LOL!!
OBAMA/BIDEN 08

a clean mandate on the failed Bush policies of the last 8 years — let’s make it a landslide for Obama!

If you have any doubt what phony, hypocrisy is, you simply just look at 0bama.
On one hand, he lectures his subsidiaries selfishness, charity, contribution to the common good of the society.
On the other hand, he panders his blind followers by bribery, cash giveaways, $1000 if you vote for him.
He promises to take care of you, giving you opportunities to get into the middle class; yet, he leaves his own brother in poverty at $1 per month in his homeland, his aunt on the streets of Boston.
Mr. Bush answers the call of a Higher Father and you know what he has done in the past 8 years.
Mr. 0bama has his own Higher Father, and he is Karl Marx. Do you really want to find out what he will do answering these calls?

I have been reading comments for a few weeks. One thing bothers me from both sides – the extreme hate for either candidate. Mr. Obama is not a terrorist and Mr. McCain is not a racist. But I will say, the media is definitely holding a much sharper view of Mr. McCain and I have an suggestion of why.
In 2000 the media did little if nothing to blunt the smear tactics of Rove again Mr. McCain and he was beaten by Bush. After 9/11 the media gave government a free pass for quite some time in order not to seem un-patriotic. They continued that pass through the Swiftboat smears against John Kerry, which, by the way, John McCain did nothing to repudiate. By that time, Mr McCain had made his deal with the party to get on board for the nomination this year.
When Mr. McCain won the nomination and declared a decent campaign, a lot of us, along with the media, were hopeful. After all, he was a great example in 2000. But when he hired several of the same people that Rove had used to smear HIM in 2000 the blinders came off for me. I became increasingly disappointed in him. With his pick of Gov. Palin, I realized that he had truly sold his soul to get this nomination.
That’s when the media woke up. I think they realized that they had been “had” by the administration and they weren’t going to put up with any crap this time. It’s not so much that they’re in the tank for Obama, it’s that they are not going to let themselves be used by the dirty politics gang again.
If Mr. McCain had run this campaign the way he ran his 2000 campaign, the polls would be very different right now. I’m not sure that Obama will win, but I am sure that Mr. McCain has caused the country he loves to become even more divided, and I am very disappointed to see a man I once admired sink so low.

So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs.”
In Alaska, residents pay no income tax or state sales tax. They receive a yearly dividend check from a $30 billion state investment account built largely from royalties on its oil. When home fuel and gas costs soared last year, Palin raised taxes on big oil and used some of the money to boost residents’ checks by $1,200. Thus every eligible man, woman and child got a record $3,269 this fall.
“And Alaska we’re set up, unlike other states in the union, where it’s collectively Alaskans own the resources. So we share in the wealth when the development of these resources occurs.”

Two many statements that are of racial over tones. Color isn’t the issue. McCain is to old and a Bush clone. Obama may not have 20 plus years as a senator but our past Presidents were all govenors. So I feel Obama has more exoeriance now than they did when they were elected. As a GOP voter since 1970 I will vote for the first time in my life for a Democrate.

You ask why some of us are voting for McCain. There are some of us that believe abortion is wrong. And we also believe that late term abortion is wrong. This procedure is so horrific that nancy Pelosi and Ted Kennedy voted to ban it along with other Democrats. Obama opposed it 3 times. That may not be an issue for you, and I respect your right not to think so. But for some of us it is an issue.
Respectfully Submitted

Roberta, I share you views exactly. I wanted McCain in 2000. I have lost a lot of respect for his nasty campaign this year.
We are one country. Why do we have to have so much hate?

I want to vote for a man that can stand up and tell the truth……
If you sit in a Church for 20 years you know your pastor. What he heard in his Church and lied about is enough to tell me he is a liar and only a select few know what else he is not telling the truth about. If you lie about something so Holy as you Church you will lie about anything. That is important to me as a Christian. If God can part the waters he can change this election.

Obama loses Tuesday and he’s toast.
After all is finally known about Obama he won’t even be re-electable to the U.S. Senate let alone the Dem Presidential nominee.
Obama will NEVER the Dem nominee again.
Thank God.

People Please do not panic, and please do not pay attention to the skewed election polls which is done to discourage republican voters. The election is very close, and everyone needs to get out and vote.

Mike, so I gather you would prefer that a mother die than have a late term abortion. Thank god Obama undertands that tough decisions like that are best left between a woman (and her family) and her physician…..not the government. I don’t understand why it is so difficult for some persons to understand that one can personally oppose abortions but maintain the right of others to decide such a difficult question for themselves.
Oh, and I am guessing you support the death penalty….just a guess.

Why is it that the states that McCain and Palin spend more time in their polling numbers go down?
Do they say stupid things all the time to really turn people off? Like Sarah Palin talking up the Phillies in the Pittsburgh region.

“everyone needs to get out and vote.”
Everyone should go out and vote regardless of what the polls say.
If you don’t vote because your candidate is losing well then you are a sad sack of an American.

Vote obama! He will win on Tuesday. Only the weak fears!
It is already in the eyes of the Americans that change is coming soon. Give us three more days.

Fact: Over the past two years, “Democrats” have held the majority in both the houses of congress.
Fact: Over the same period, both obama and Biden were U.S. senators.
Question: Could someone explain to me how the obama/Biden campaign gets away with blaming Bush and McCain for every thing that wrong in the past 2-years, considering that both obama and Biden, (1) both were senators (just like McCain) and (2) both operated under a congress controlled by their close democratic friends, Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reed? Under these environment, it should have been easy for either obama or Biden to step-up and take a leadership role on at least one significant issue. They certainly had a perfect opportunity to make a “True” Change for this country. But instead, they chose to sit on their rears, waive their fingers and criticize the Republican Party. Is this the Change you really want? Four more years of, whining, name calling, do nothing, finger pointing democrats who promise to raise your taxes, and redistribute your hard earned money like we were a socialist country (all this during a recession). No wonder they have rightfully earned a national job approval rating of 17%. Is this the Change you really want for the United States?

I cant believe that after the last eight years of failed policy if you can even call it policy with the knucklehead that is in Washington for another couple of months, that you think anything will different with McCain who has been right by Bush on 90% of all his misdoing’s that have all but bankrupted this country. I am voting for something different then what we have been getting and defenitly against anything that the religous right is voting for stop trying to push your agenda on everyone else I think that we can all make up our own minds as to what is best for us and you can keep your opinions to yourselves.

A democracy cannot function when the preeminent media publish lies and omit truth. One cannot cast a vote when they are not informed. We have the internet. Google some of the allegations about Obama and weigh what you find as a murder-trial jury would.
Remember this story: A boy once found a stiff cold snake on a mountain side. The snake asked him to put him under his coat and take him down–and he would not bite him. At the foot of the mountain, the revived snake coiled and stuck the boy. The boy complained of betrayal. The snake said simply,”you knew what I was when you picked me up.” Do not vote in ignorance.
