Sick Hateful People Against Obama
In Cullowhee, N.C.: Police are following leads in the case of a 75-pound dead bear cub, shot in the head, found draped with Barack Obama posters at the entrance to Western Carolina University, the AP reports.
In Chester, Va.: Chesterfield County police are investigating the theft of a 4-by-8 Barack Obama for President sign from the home of 78-year-old Leroy C. McLaughlin, an African-American Baptist minister.
The sign was replaced by a Confederate flag, the AP says.

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
Absolutely despicable! The perpetrators should be charged with hate crimes and punished to the full extent of the law. Hopefully someone will come forward with information that exposes these lowlifes – I’m sure they’ll have to “brag” to someone about what they did.

It’s all part of the catharsis process that Obama’s candidature has triggered in the still many racist Americans and communities out there.
Let’s hope the outcome will be a better, more open minded, more tolerant, and more truly democratic and WISER America.

This is the kind of crap that gets stirred up when people talk about “pro-America” and “real” America. Of course McCain is against this sort of thing, but this is what John Lewis was talking about…

Al Quaeda attacked the US in 1993, the first year of President Clinton.
Al Quaeda attacked the US in 2001, the first year of Georg W. Bush.
And if their history repeats itself, Al Quaeda will probably try again next year, the first year of the new President.
So what else is new?
I noticed that trend in 2001, after 911. That’s Al Quaeda’s M.O.D.
They want to test the new President. That’s why they did it in the first year of Clinton’s and Bush’s presidency.
Hope to god we do not have to rely on the teleprompter guy!!!!

Gosh darn the MSM and the DONC for putting our nation through this. First they gleefully swarmed Hillary out of the race like a pack of rabid, sexist dogs — just to show us that a woman’s job is ALWAYS to help a man, no matter how incompetent and inexperienced he may be. “Shut up, Hillary. Sit down, Hillary.” That’s what they fed us every single gosh darn day and night during the primaries. The overriding message, from February to August, was “When will Hillary GO AWAY??”

Yes. Read (that’s right READ!) about how the vast majority of so called “hate crimes” are “committed” by blacks and other crybabies whining for attention to their tired, whiney cause. As long as blacks keep worshiping O.J. Simpson, gangsta rapist/killers and fakes like Obama, no real black man or woman of virtue will ever ascend to greatness. Frankly, I would prefer OJ over Obama for President. At least OJ knows how to get away with murder. What does Obama know how to do except talk pretty to the hopelessly naive?

Yes, I am a republican and proud of it. I am also a non-hater. I dont see race when I go to the polls and vote. This kind of nasty inhumane stuff does not represents us republicans. The sad part about all this is that the BIGOTS!!! are identifying themleves as republicans to go against a decent humane being like Obama. McCain is right when called Obama a decent family man. A man who loves America and will be a great president. I praise McCain for staing up for Obama, eventhough we saw a small part of the old McCain, he continues to go with what is Campaign manager says. Rick Davis is the most corrupt person on earth, not only did he labbied Freddie and Mac.. He paid millions to stop regulations to the markets and as a result this is the economic crisis we are in. McCain sadly wants to continue the path of G.W Bush.
He wants to continue to side with the big boys instead of the average American. So I urge all decent Americans to go out and vote for the best team Obama/Biden. When you go to the polls lets but an end to the Bush era. Yes I voed for Bush but o boy do I regreat it with all of my being. Let the racist, bigots non-educated folks vote for Sarah Palin as they deserve a women who has become a national joke.

A dead bear with a sign is not as deadly as a molotov cocktail like the one that was thrown at the McCain sign last week in Oregon.
Last Sunday when the Sarah Palin motorcade was going through my home state of New Mexico a shot was fired at one of the vehicles.
What makes the dead bear with a flag more “sick and hateful” than those who shoot at a vice-presidential motorcade?
Anyone?

The story about Obama supporters’ tires slashed at his rally, only 11 claims have been filed, of the 30 reported by the newspaper.
Annnnnnd! Read this:
“A similar incident was reported Oct. 2, she said.
Five people reported that the tires of their vehicles were slashed while they were attending a concert by recording artists Trace Adkins and Alan Jackson, Tanna said.”
So it may be indigenous to the area, not WHO the cars belong to.
It could be people from the area who don’t want cars parked there.
I know in Philly, back in the 60s, at Connie Mack Stadium, you’d have to pay the neighborhood kids “protection money” so your car would be in one piece when you returned from a Phillie game.
Bottom line, if you go to the Colliseum, don’t park on Wilkes Road.

Police profilers always say that maliciously killing animals is a stepping stone to killing people. Those who do such demented acts should be found and prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law before their sick behavior escalates –especially when we are in the middle of a heated presidential election. It’s a funny thing: McCain, Palin and their fanatic supporters are trying desperately to link Obama to Ayers and terrorists. But at the same time, they’re the ones I see yelling out “Kill him” or with supporters who hang effigies of Obama or kill animals to display their hatred of Obama.

That’s the only kind of people that McCain and Palin attract to their rallys.
If something happens to Obama they better point their fingers at the ones who are stirring people up with the LIES and EXAGGERATIONS, namely McCain and Palin.
They keep trying to portray Obama as a terrorist when there is ABSOLUTELY no truth to it.
Maybe they will pass a law to put a limit on how bad they can slam someone at their rallys before it becomes threating and some half wits start thinking, “hey, if we do something maybe we will be hailed as heroes”.
McCain and Palin are getting WAY out of hand!!!

The racial hatred started in the primaries with the Obama campaign tagging Bill and Hillary (and all those bitter people clinging to their guns and religion) as racists. Obama started it and Obama (and his surrogates like Biden, Davis and Sebelius just to name a few) continues to fan the flames of racism to goad those with liberal “white guilt” into voting for a one term Senator whose only qualification is style over substance.

“At McCain rallies last week, some spectators were heard yelling comments about Obama such as “kill him” and “off with his head.” At an event in Florida, a racial insult was directed at a black television cameraman.
McCain sought to quell such rhetoric Friday, saying Obama is a “decent person” and a “family man” who shouldn’t be feared as a potential president.”
“The vandalism drew a condemnation from York County Democratic Party Chairman Jim Watkins, who said he hopes those responsible are punished. The Democratic Party rents space in an office building on East Main Street in downtown.
““This kind of thing has absolutely no place in our public discourse about important issues in this election,” Watkins said. “I’m just saddened by the whole thing. I hope whoever did it is caught and prosecuted.””

I’ve already voted — for Obama — but in the clips I’ve seen at McCain-Palin rallies, especially Palin’s, when people in the crowd have shouted out “Kill him!” “Off with his head!” it’s as if the candidates are inciting the crowd to violence. wrong is wrong…everyone no matter where your loyalties lie has to come together and condemn ALL acts of violence or intimidation!
nobody will listen to you until you first acknowledge this is an unacceptable act of violence…then, you present other acts of violence citing credible sources, newpapers, newsclips, etc. i have researched and i can find violent acts everywhere and the point is to condemn ALL acts of violence for any reason.

The majority of accusations of racism come from Repubs.
The funny/sad part is that they always blame African-Americans for racism.
“IF YOU WEREN’T BLACK, I WOULDN’T HATE YOU. IT’S YOUR FAULT!!”
But it’s all just another attempt at distraction from the REAL issues by McCain.
IT’S THE ECONOMY, STUPID!!!

Just because there were Obama signs on that poor bear does not mean that the deed was done by a McCain supporter. Dead bear? That’s pretty symbolic and a great way to point the finger at a republican.
It would be interesting to see a side by side comparison of partisan violence during this campaign and see which party had the most hate attacks against them.

“The racial hatred started in the primaries with the Obama campaign tagging Bill and Hillary (and all those bitter people clinging to their guns and religion) as racists. Obama started it and Obama (and his surrogates like Biden, Davis and Sebelius just to name a few) continues to fan the flames of racism to goad those with liberal “white guilt” into voting for a one term Senator whose only qualification is style over substance.”

We have endured 8 years of bad politics. We are a country who in the past have been viewed by our allies as a country of hope, dreams and freedom. I think it is good that we have differences that is what elicits change. We need to come together not drift apart. I do not mind other people opposing my views or choice of candidates, however I do mind people who do not investigate and genuinely listen to what each candidate offers.
For instance did anyone else hear John McCain state that he wanted to leave Abortion in the hands of the States? Does not sound very Pro Life to me. Obama stated in that debate that the person considering an abortion should discuss the issue with family, friends, religious leaders. For the Christians this is what our Bible asks us to do to try to convince the person that the sin is wrong. When Sarah Palin accused Barack Obama of being a pal of Ayers she pretty much put a price on Obama’s head. We saw it weeks after in the rallies in my home State Wisconsin, in Minnesota people yelling “Kill Obama.” Pro Life??
Right now the government gave, they gave 700 billion dollars to bail out big mortgage companies. It is absurd to think that one party is responsible for the falling of the system. People have to take some responsibility for building/buying houses they knew they could not afford. I do not know how America could not see this coming. Do you know how many times in the past 8 years I have had mortgage companies offering to lend me money at 125% the worth of my home. Hello! The Democrats and the Republicans are both parties in the nightmare it wasn’t one party turning there backs both share responsibility. Now if we lower taxes on everyone who do you think is going to make up for the 700 billion dollars? Or who will fund the current war if we continue in Iraq? This is a huge request but use your common sense when choosing your candidate.

Where is the Rev. Wright and Louis Farrakahn? Two of the biggest racists backing B. Hussein……two weeks ago Farrakhan was reported on as calling Obama “the Messiah”, but then they must have muzzled him like Wright. All loud and angry racist blacks are under the Obama Witness Protection Program now….they must not blow this for their guy, so close to the election.
I am 50 and I have never felt racial tension so much in my life (I was a child in the 60′s and wasn’t involved in the racial climate then).

The issue is not that there are people with extreme views who carry out hateful acts and say vicious things(on both the left and right). These people always have and always will exist and, hopefully, they will be caught and punished.
The issue is the behaviour of the leadership of both campaigns. McCain-Palin have questioned Obama’s love of country, that have implied that he is a terrorist, and they have called him a socialist. They are dividing the country into “real” America and anti-America. They are pursuing an extremely divisive campaign to try to prove that Obama is a danger to America. This is apparent from the general mood at their rallies – lots of booing and the (occasional) shouting of extremely nasty comments.
This is not what I want to see or hear. While both campaigns have been guilty of misleading rhetoric, only the McCain-Palin ticket has slipped into true ugliness.

Palin is worse than them because SHE DOESN’T SHUT UP WITH HER NEGATIVITY!!!

I live in WNC. The bear incident was certainly not a made up story or a half-truth. To the posting that an Obama supported might actually committed this crime, that is ludicrous. I might also add that while it is bear season here, this was a yearling cub weighing only 75lbs. I hope we catch whoever did shot this poor bear and persecute them fully.
One additional note, I read numerous blogs and the comments people post every day. I’m shocked and horrified by the dreadful and hate-filled sentiments people seem to relish in posting to them. If every one of you who put your energy into taking the time to write hateful postings instead used that energy to help someone else or yourselves, well, the world would be a better place.

Jenny, from Rome; Obama’s supported organization, ACORN is a very intimidating, and threatening organization. They essentially threaten bankers and their famlies with violence unless they provide bank loans to the otherwise, unqualified!
Obama endorsed Ayers book in 1997; ya know, the same Bill Ayers that still wants to bomb this country, but Barak really doesn’t know anything about it….
Barak went to Harvard & Columbia law. Was a law professor, but funny thing,,,,,,he must’ve been absent the days they discussed the VERY famous law case; “United States -v- Ayers.”
It’s really famous, especially for law students, because it teaches about evidence gathering, and inappropriate wire tapping etc. It teaches how “guilty as sin” criminals such as Ayers got off on a “TECHANALITY,” otherwise he’d still be in jail today!!
Barak knew all about his past, yet still did business with Ayers, endorsed his book, and lied about his associations, not onec, not twice, but at least three times (can I hear the rooster crow Peter??)
Obama is a radical, his wife is a black seperatist, and this country will go to hades in a handbasket should he get elected!

I am a centrist who usually votes right of center AS HISTORY SHOWS AMERICANS USUALLY DO. They NEVER vote the most lefty liberal EVER to run for high office! Unless this year the black guy gets a pass, like so many of our students who apply for college and being of color gets you in, or job applicants who have the right skin color for a quota. Affirmative Action at work in this election.

Jenny, would that Bush’s catastrophe were that simple!
As ret USAF with 21 years overseas, Iraq is gonna be a headache for quite some time. The GOP, however, cannot define “victory” there. It’s going to be an ongoing conflict management endeavor as the theocrats try to carve out their individual areas of influence.
Biden’s federation of Iraqi states is about the best we can hope for and we need to get our troo[ps out of the way aand let it happen within the confines of the Iraqi ethos.
Posted by: Bob | October 21, 2008, 1:36 pm 1:36 pm
“”"I think the most ‘telling ‘ (foreshadowing ) statement Biden made was , “And he’s gonna need help. And the kind of help he’s gonna need is, he’s gonna need you – not financially to help him – we’re gonna need you to use your influence, your influence within the community, to stand with him. Because it’s not gonna be apparent initially, it’s not gonna be apparent that we’re right.”
This can be summed up to simply state “get ready , America ’cause you’re not going to like what we are getting ready to do to you !”
Gee BO has his own sick people…I see sick people!!”"”"
I saw it as an extension of what Obama has already said many times. In order for this country to work its way out of the economical mess WE ALL have to work together. In order for this country to get ourselves out of this Iraq, Afganastan, Pakistan nightmare of a mess, WE ALL have to work together. In order to bring America’s reputation back up as a trustworthy leader, WE ALL have to work together. Obama’s job as President is going to come with one of the largest burdens ever seen in this country and they are asking that WE ALL work together so Obama can be successful in getting the job done and done right this time. It would take a moron to think they could do the job without the support of the people of this nation. That moron is leaving office in January.
Obama’s message is “We” and McCain’s is “Us vs. Them” so I understand why you interpreted the statement differently.

Under Obama’s tax plan, you pay only $773 more than under McCain’s IF you make over $250K/year. Everyone below $250K gets a tax cut.
Warren Buffet is the man and a true patriot! He believes in paying a fair share of the tax burden and is quite vocal about it. It’s telling when the richest man in the U.S, endorses Obama.

Are you warning your fellow McCain supporters?
From Kiplingers Today:
The headlines from the most recent Wall Street Journal/NBC poll focus on the two man-matchup (Obama 47, McCain 41) and the continued unease that some voters have with Obama as commander in chief. But a closer look at the data shows something unexpected.
When voters were given a choice among the four candidates who will be on most state ballots — McCain, Obama, Libertarian Bob Barr and Nader, Obama’s lead over McCain grew to 13 points (48-35), with Nader pulling 5 percent and Barr 2 percent. In short, almost all of Nader’s support is coming out of McCain’s hide, most from independents who lean to the Arizona senator in a two-person matchup.
This makes a certain amount of sense. Democrats are still furious with Nader for his role in the 2000 election. He won enough votes in several states, most notably Florida, to deny the presidency to Al Gore. Democrats aren’t about to let that happen again.

I agree. I’m sick and tired of race being used in this. Before Mr.Obama came along, people could make a choice in candidates based on their beliefs, without being labled racist.
Yet now…we’re racist for not buying into Mr.Obama’s talking points.
I’m sorry. I know both men are fallable, but here it is, in a nutshell.
Contrary to what some might think, the lies of Mr.Obama have been proven. Over, and over, yet the msm’s avoid reporting them most of the time, and have shown that unbiased journalism, is gone, and whom they prefer in our next president, and by hiding the truth, they are systematically trying to sway the country, into whom to vote for.
Mr.Obama’s voting record. Infanticide , and going along those lines, in making that law, is scary. Then who do we pick next? Mentally challenged? Brown eyed babies? If they are born alive, thru a botched abortion, they are a human being, and afforded every respect, and courtesy, of a human being. I personally believe life begins at conception, but to even argue a born alive baby’s worth….is wrong.
Obama espouses HUGE tax cuts, but also espouses for HUGE spending, for programs he wants to implement. This can’t be done, by giving tax cuts. We will see tax hikes. Large tax hikes, and not just on those making over $250,000.
He campaigned for Senator , on the premise of cutting taxes, then voted yay, every time a tax hike came to the floor. When gas was at $167 a barrel, and the gallon price was over $4…he wanted to add to the gas tax…with another 18 cents I believe. When we were hurting the most, with high gas prices, he wanted to add to the tax.
I just don’t trust this, and I believe in cleaning up government, and less spending on their part. I do not want Government in my life!

Congratulations. You’re the first to figure that similarity out. You probably voted for Bush, not realizing that Bush’s entire family is friends with bin Laden’s entire family, though, right?

Robin Hayes was so proud of her remarks that her spokesperson denied them repeatedly until audio showed up.
The lesson as always? Right wingers lie.

“The Annenburg Foundation in Chicago was chaired for 8 years by Obama.Guess who appointed him chairman?Terrorist William Ayers.”
The Annenberg Foundation was founded and chaired by Walter Annenberg, a conservative newspaper owner and friend of Ronald Reagan who served as ambassador during his administration.
Walter Annenberg was a big belivier in education and improving education.
He started the public policy school at U Penn that does Fact Check.
He also started the Chicago Annenberg Challenge which was a public-private partnership to improve schools in Chicago. One of 3 authors of that grant was Bill Ayers.
The lesson as always? Right wingers lie.

Where have you people been? For every hateful thing said or done to the Obama people, there are at least eight (8) against either Palin, McCain and before that Hillary Clinton on the net and by MSM. The Obama people know no shame. His whole campaign is a distortion of the truth and decency.
And to some people being called a “Redneck” is as hateful as being called a “N”.

“And to some people being called a “Redneck” is as hateful as being called a “N”.”
Don’t bother stating the obvious, It will just confuse them now, Mary. No one is interested in facts any more than a basketball player cares about the weight of the ball, they just want scores.
Rage is an addiction and America has been building one for 16 years starting with the pillorying of the Clintons. It is observably worse on the left because they were the underdogs and now that they think they are leaving the game as winners, they are getting even at any and every opportunity.
This is not the time for healing. This is the time for those still in possession of their better angels to get their heads down and out of the way of the campaigns.
Just vote and be done with it. History is indeed coming at us fast now and I don’t think anyone is in control of that. I fear the worst of this is yet to come so say a prayer for America.

“You probably voted for Bush, not realizing that Bush’s entire family is friends with bin Laden’s entire family, though, right? ”
funny..
Many of us have noticed that similarity. Barry was no longer Barry after his years in Occidental College and his subsequent trip to Pakistan…..
Yet many of those people who noticed… like myself…. have never before in our lives voted Republican.
But, the time has come..
Call me a racist.
Call me a typical white woman.
but don’t forget to call me
AN EDUCATED AMERICAN VOTER WHO HAS EXAMINED HER OPTIONS
and will be voting for McCain and Palin!

I’m sorry – but all of you somehow trying to pin these incidents on the Obama campaign is ridiculous. What possible rationale could the Obama have for doing this? Obviously you want to believe the worst of Senator Obama and his supporters – but what proof do you have? You are absolutely right – there have been incidents against Gov Palin and Sen McCain that are shameful and disgusting and have no place ever – never mind in this election. But you have no proof – of anything!!! Of course when you make comments like these it just shows that you never let facts get in the way of a good smear job. It would almost be funny – if it wasn’t so awful and horrifying. Awful and horrifying that today in the US – people think behavior like this is OK – as long as it supports their “cause” or “candidate”.
I get that those who are now in power don’t want to lose the reins – but they are about to. But the response should not be hatred and intolerance.
Again, there is about to be a change -and I, one among many millions, am glad.
Obama/Biden ’8

Bryan, you wrote:
“Jake – If you are going to post these types of stories, then I think you should do it from both ends. Where are the stories about Obama supporters (some of them very prominent, i.e. John Stewart, Madonna, Sandra Bernhard, etc.) threatening to beat up and rape Sarah Palin?”
Exactly. It’s a complete double standard. Liberals, who make up most of the media, aren’t as shocked, outraged or concerned by the hate of others on the left as they are by those on the right. And they suppress some stories while pushing others for political purposes. What Sandra Bernhard said would have been huge news if she had been a conservative. Michelle Malkin has compiled some incidents of liberal rage and hate in “Crush the Obamedia narrative: Look who’s ‘gripped by insane rage.’” That includes t-shirts with “abort Palin” on them. A woman reported to police she was assaulted by an Obama supporter who hit her repeatedly with a sign post in NYC (“Obama Supporter Assaults Female McCain Volunteer in New York,” Pajamasmedia, “Culture Wars: New Yorkers give McCain supporters the finger,” The Observers).
A man yelled, “let’s stone her, old school,” as Palin passed by on the street in Philadelphia. But that isn’t hateful. Liberals feel more outraged over conservative hate, and they go by their feelings, not what’s actually been said or done.

Here comes the liberal media , and obama surrogate RACE CARD,,,,,again. Like clockwork as soon as obama begins to slip, or McCain makes ground , we start hearing about bogus race issues, and its always the white who is the bad guy according to Jake , and his left wing loons.
Where is the outrage over the hideous hatred spewed toward Sarah Palin Jake? Sorry dog, I dont even believe any of this story, you guys have lost all credibility. Quit trying to play on white guilt, and start looking into black racism.

To keep the ever present issue of race.. an everpresent issue of race.
IS THIS THE CHANGE OBAMA HAS PROMISED US?

I have no doubt that the Obama campaign are involved in some of these “racial incidents” These are called “false flag operations” designed to draw the sypmpathy of undecideds, and the ire of supporters he already has. Sleazebag politics at its lowest. And Obama was supposed to be the transformational candidate. Funny how Jake, and the rest of the obama worshipping media never reminds obama of his daily contradictions.

Ryan C.,
If the incidents Malkin mentions actually did happen, that it’s her mentioning them doesn’t change that, does it? The best way to get at any truth is to ignore who the source is and actually look at what they’re reporting.

We can thank Missy “Cocoa Puffs” Palin for insuing hatred in our political world. Isn’t she just great, folks? NOT. Palin said that Obama had been “palling around with terrorists” and for that she should be chastised in one way or another. Instead, the MSM went wild over her, gave her a free pass, and still does to this date.
Palin has a hateful heart. Palin will say anything for money!
I want my intelligent Pres O to be re elected. I will work hard for his re election in 2012.

OMG, this is NOT the same thing as Pres. O has been put through. For heavens sake, the Repubs/TPs have been crucifying our pres from day one,….and it is shameful for America.
And the repubs are always saying that Obama has ruined our stature with the rest of the world.
Ha. Fat chance that is. Obama won a poll not too long ago…Obama came out on top by world leaders…and guess who was at almost rock bottom…..
G. W. Bush!
