Stephanopoulos: Obama Outspending McCain 3 to 1 in Battleground Ads
ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos reports: A day after they squared off against each other in Nashville, Tenn., for their second debate, the campaigns of both John McCain and Barack Obama expressed frustration with the format.
The candidates felt that the stilted, disjointed format of what was supposed to be a town hall-style debate made it harder for them to make their cases, Obama and McCain campaign aides tell ABC News.
The McCain campaign was further frustrated that their candidate didn’t get more credit for the proposal that he made at the top of the debate for the government to refinance the nation’s troubled mortgages.
McCain needs to do three things with the remainder of this election: separate himself from President George W. Bush, make a case against Obama, and make a positive case for himself as a future president, and aides worry he didn’t get a solid chance to do that during this last debate.
Obama’s campaign was a bit more pleased with the outcome of the debate, especially with their candidate’s tone, demeanor, and manner. The Obama campaign believes that over the course of these presidential debates Obama is reassuring voters that he can handle the job of president.
The Obama campaign has already created an ad out based on a moment from last night’s debate when the Illinois senator called health care a "right" for every American. It’s something they think voters will pay attention to in the last weeks of the campaign.
Today Obama campaigned in Indiana, a state that up until a couple months ago, few thought he would have a chance in.
But with poll numbers showing Obama leading McCain nationally and in many key battleground states, the Obama campaign is playing in a much wider electoral map than McCain right now. Even if Obama doesn’t win Indiana, he is forcing McCain to spend time and money in a state once thought reliably red — a key strategy for Obama.
Even more importantly, Obama is outspending McCain 3 to 1 in key battleground states. We’re seeing the incredible fundraising machine that Obama has put in place kick into gear in the final weeks of the campaign.
Over the last week, Obama has spent over $7 million more than McCain and the Republican National Committee spent in the battleground states.
McCain spent $10, 855, 000 while Obama spent $17, 445, 000 in overall ad spending during Sept. 28 to Oct. 4, according to TNSMI/Campaign Media Analysis Group and the University of Wisconsin advertising project.
In Florida during that same period Obama spent $2,213, 000 in media ads while McCain spent $659, 000.
In Ohio McCain spent $1,727,000 to Obama’s whopping $2, 218,000 during that same period.
It’s a big advantage for Obama going into the final weeks of the campaign.

Never contributed to a campaign in my life, but have sent a dozen donations to Obama.
I’m looking forward to Obama taking VA.
As long as he stays positive and McCain and Palin stick with their smear campaign, it going to be a blow out.
What they don’t get is the only people who are interested in the rediculous “associations” attacks are the people already voting for them.
No one else cares. People have seen the swift boat Rovian politics before and it’s just not going to work.
And since McCain and Palin have nothing to offer other than a bunch of psuedo-patriotic flag waving platitudes, they have no choice but to keep attacking.

An Unoriginal Question About William C. Ayers: Chicago Tribune columnist Steve Chapman in the New York Times said the following:
“If John McCain had a long association with a guy who’d bombed abortion clinics, I don’t think people would say, ‘That’s ancient history.’ ”
What if McCain had launched his political career in the living room of a former abortion clinic bomber who is now a respected professor at, say, a Christian college, who is unrepentant in his previous actions, but never charged with a crime, and was now pursuing a different avenue for his views …
What if he’d given McCain a $200 campaign contribution eight years ago, and they’d served on a board together, and were “friendly” though they hadn’t spoken in a while, and McCain had condemned his previous actions and didn’t know him back then …
What if right now McCain were ahead with a Republican wind blowing, and Obama were behind? What if Obama started attacking McCain about this guy? How would it look to you? How would the media react? And would it be a fair hit?

*********PALIN: PROOF OBAMA IS A SAUDI PUPPET******
OBAMA’S MOST GUARDED SECRET: WHO PAID OBAMA’S TUITION? WHY OBAMA HAS NO OUTSTANDING STUDENT LOANS?
Around 1979 Obama started college at Occidental in California. He is very open about his two years at Occidental, he tried all kinds of drugs and was wasting his time but, even though he had a brilliant mind, did not apply himself to his studies. During this time he had two roommates, Muhammad Hasan Chandoo and Wahid Hamid, both from Pakistan. In the summer of 1981 after his second year in college, he made a ’round the world’ trip. Stopping to see his mother in Indonesia, next Hyderabad in India, three weeks in Karachi, Pakistan where he stayed with his roommates family. Then off to Africa to visit his fathers family. Where Did He Get The Money For This Trip?
When he came back he started school at Columbia University in New York. Do you know what the tuition is at Columbia? Its Not cheap! to say the least. Where Did He Get The Money For Tuition?
Student Loans? Maybe BUT where are the Loans then?
Saudi Prince Waleed Bin Taleed, paid Obama’s trip and Tuition. This is a very guarded secret that Obama refuses to talk about.
After Columbia he went to Chicago to work as a Community Organizer for $12,000 a year. Why Chicago? Why not New York? He was already living in New York.
——–
The Saudi Prince ordered Obama to take charge of ACORN and the election fraud machinery that they were organizing there.
———-
Obama soon entered Harvard Law School. Do you have any idea what tuition is for Harvard Law School? Where Did He Get The Money?????
Prince Alwaleed Bin Taleed paid Obama’s tuition again. Now the Saudis own Obama.
In 2005 Obama purchased a new home in the Kenwood District of Chicago for $1.65 million. Just down the street from Louis Farrakahns’ Home, and very near the home of William Ayers. With all those student loans – Where Did He Get The Money For The Property???
On the same day Antoin Rezko’s wife, Rita, purchased the adjoining empty lot for full price.
The London Times reported that Nadhmi Auchi, an Iraqi-born billionaire loaned Rezko $3.5 million three weeks before Obamas new home was purchased. Obama met with Nadhmi Auchi many times with Rezko.
The Saudi Prince and Muslims own Obama, he’s just a Saudi puppet.

Mr Obama has to spend that much and more. His program used on the people will not work unless he can keep it in their face 24/7.
It will not work unless he can get the people and the country to desperation.
Probably the reason he is doing the opposite of what he should to encouarge and get the economy moving up.
For a win?
His doom and Gloom and and keeping on the front page of the head lines is doing more harm to this country and the economy than anything else.

The TRUTH about blog poster “Fuke_Obama”:
“Fuke_Obama” (we’ll just call him/her F.O. from here on out) – a self confessed terrorist-was raised by bin Laden himself, and was sent to America to join a sleeper cell. After joining the secret terrorist cell, F.O. began a gay love affair with his/her fellow terrorists (yes, all of them) and spent day and night either making bombs to attack innocent americans, or engaging in radical sodomy.
F.O. later enrolled in the local community college to recruit more terrorists. F.O. excelled at this, and found 18 terrorists to participate in his next scheme. You know the rest of the story. On 9/11, F.O.s terrorist recruits flew into the twin towers.
F.O. hates America, pees on the flag, and kills puppies!
F.O. continues to work in a sleeper cell, to this day, and still strives to recruit more terrorists to his/her cause- when F.O. isn’t being sodomized, i mean.
Copy this! Spread the truth!!!

It us astounding to me that people can even think about voting against their own seld-interests. Some of the bloggers here are so absorbed by prejudice and bias they cannot see the forest for the trees.
Today McCain called us “fellow prisoners” and did not so much as catch his mistake. Is he still so embedded in his POW days that he cannot tell Americans from prisoners? Or is his health catching up with the senility that seems to permeate his brain.
McCain does not know world geography, he does not know Petraesus position in the military hierarchy, he wants to buy the mortgages of home owners – a provision already in the bailout bill, he wants to spend $10 billion dollars a month in Iraq when the Iraq government is holding billions of dollars in surplus, Cindy accused Senator Obama today of voting against funding the troops – forgetting to mention, of course, that McCain also voted against the same funding bill, etc., etc,,
etc. And the beat goes on……
God gave people a brain that holds reasoning power. Apparently some people on this blog have sealed their reasoning power in a drawer until after the election.
Posted by: sandy | October 8, 2008, 11:51 pm 11:51 pm
When he left the post-debate meet-and-greet early, McCain seemed to know in his heart of hearts that he’d lost, not just the debate, but the election. Why else abandon the stage and the cameras to Barack and Michelle? Still, at least through Nov. 3, he has to go back out on the stump. And out there he’s a prisoner of his party’s ideology (and of Steve Schmidt, Karl Rove, and that awful moose-skinner who’s angling for his place on the ticket), forced to mouth slurs and phony policy proposals that demean the straight-talking character that once made him so popular with independents. That ought to make anyone angry, and McCain seems barely able to contain his rage.
It’s not as if the crowd can’t see that savage repression. All those folks screaming “Kill him!” and “Treason!” and “Terrorist!”–they want McCain to let loose his demons. They want the warrior to slash and burn, they want him to take no prisoners.
They have no idea that John McCain is his own worst prisoner. And jailer too.

People in COLORADO, INDIANA, OHIO, MICHIGAN, NEVADA and NORTH CAROLINA… Regardless of who you’re voting for, please double check to see if you’re REGISTERED TO VOTE! You may have been removed from rolls just like thousands of others. Tell your family and friends to check if they’re still registered too!
Here’s the story:
Tens of thousands of eligible voters in at least six swing states have been removed from the rolls or have been blocked from registering in ways that appear to violate federal law, according to a review of state records and Social Security data by The New York Times.
The actions do not seem to be coordinated by one party or the other, nor do they appear to be the result of election officials intentionally breaking rules, but are apparently the result of mistakes in the handling of the registrations and voter files as the states tried to comply with a 2002 federal law, intended to overhaul the way elections are run.
Still, because Democrats have been more aggressive at registering new voters this year, according to state election officials, any heightened screening of new applications may affect their party’s supporters disproportionately. The screening and trimming of voter registration lists in the six states — Colorado, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, Nevada and North Carolina — could also result in problems at the polls on Election Day: people who have been removed from the rolls are likely to show up only to be challenged by political party officials or election workers, resulting in confusion, long lines and heated tempers.

Whats so innovative and new about Obama;s economic plan….its just more tax and spend mentality of the democrats..he will grow government programs that will end up costing millions and solving none of the problems they intended (as 95% of all government run programs do)…he will pay for that by taxing everyone more NOT LESS…and no not just those that make over $250K…that won;t be enough to pay for his spending spree and our growing defecit…and BTW…many of those that make over $250K are actually small businesses (Sole proprietorships)…that are job creation engines for this economy…sounds like increasing their taxes will hurt not help this economy (more overhead ,less jobs). Any economist will tell you that LOWERING TAX RATES always INCREASES TAX REVENUES…doesn;t this Ivy Leaguer get it…or did he skip Marcoeconomics in school?

I wouldn’t get to excited about the poll numbers…some seem to be moving back towards the middle. I guess folks are over their initial knee-jerk reactions about the economic situation, though, BOTH candidates are really sucking on this issue. They can have access to a host of Nobel Laureates, various PhDs, former presidents, engineers, etc. but yet it sounds like they’re paying more attention to their political handlers-talk about ‘out of touch’ with these political leeches.
Actually, I didn’t get too excited when McCain was ahead in many polls, but, to be honest I haven’t been too excited about much coming out of his mouth lately. And, I have serious questions about the polling in general. It doesn’t seem to jive with what I’ve been seeing around the WWW including obviously Liberal forums.
I wonder if Obama’s Saudi and Hamas supporters can write off campaign contributions where they live? Hmm.

Fact Check caught McCain in another lie about Obama. McCain said that Obama is getting big money from Fannie and Freddie. Well that turned out to be a BIG LIE.
McCain received $169,000.00 from the Directors, Officers and Lobbyists of Fannie and Freddie according to the Federal Election commission.
While Obama only received $16,000.00 from the working middle class employees from Freddie and Fannie.
Do the Math! John McCain got $153,000.00 more from the corrupted top CEO’s and Business exe’s than what Obama received from the working middle class employees of those companies.
McCain claims he is the straight talker, but he really is the Straight Out Liar.

A vote for Obama is a vote for the beginning of the END OF OUR GREAT BUT TROUBLED COUNTRY! CNN & MSNBC Saintly Obama seems to grow smaller the closer we approach him and find out the truth that cable news pundits can’t seem to find and or report? No longer can Americans trust the media, which was given special constitutional privileges to look out for the folks.”Obama is an empty suit. From the day he was sworn in to the Senate to the date he declared his run for the presidency, is only 145 days on the job. He has literally no experience. (Not figuratively, literally!) He’s not qualified to run a Dairy Queen. Recently, we witnessed the disgusting treatment of Hillary Clinton, including not being named Barack Obama’s running mate in spite of the fact that she drew 18 million votes. No Republican has mentioned race, but it has been the trump card for the Obama campaign even to the point of accusing Bill Clinton of racism. The savage treatment of Sarah Palin by the Democratic attack machine has gone beyond the pale even involving reference to her Down syndrome baby. What possible reason could there be not to vote for Obama? Maybe because he isn’t the right man for the job, regardless of race. Proven Obama has most liberal voting record in the U.S. Senate. Obama is to the left of Ted Kennedy, Hillary Clinton, Russ Feingold, Pat Leahy and Barbara Boxer. That’s extremely difficult to do. Obama is a textbook big-government, tax-and-spend liberal. He plans to raise income tax rates; capital gains tax rates, Social Security taxes (by virtue of eliminating the cap), dividend taxes, inheritance taxes, and introduce a slew of new taxes. His plan will destroy this country “I think he can be ready, but right now I don’t believe he is,” Biden said in 2007. “The presidency is not something that lends itself to on-the-job training.” In debate among Democratic hopefuls, moderator George Stephanopoulos pressed Biden whether he stood by a recent quote. Biden said, “I stand by that statement.”

ABC.. where is the report on the ACORN raid in Nevada? This is Obama’s baby that he funneled money into and is a part of. You all are so biased it is sickening. I can’t even watch Charlie Gibson or any of you anymore. It is so apparent that you are in the tank for Obama, there is no point in watching ABC news.

IBD: Is ACORN Stealing The Election?
It’s a legitimate question to raise now that the FBI has raided the offices of the nonprofit Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now in Nevada and North Carolina, two states where Obama and John McCain are running neck-and-neck. ACORN has registered bogus voters in both states.
The group’s voter-registration fraud is rampant, and authorities plan a nationwide sweep of ACORN offices to collect records.
In Nevada, state officials say the fraudulent registrations included forms for the starting lineup of the Dallas Cowboys football team, including quarterback Tony Romo.
“Romo is not registered to vote in the state of Nevada,” Secretary of State Ross Miller said, “and anybody trying to pose as Terrell Owens won’t be able to cast a ballot on Nov. 4.”
While those names will be flagged on Election Day, felonious voters may have better luck using other cutouts. Nevada, along with several other key battleground states, requires no ID to vote.
In North Carolina, where Obama has been running nonstop ads, ACORN has registered a record number of new voters, many of them suspicious. Statewide, Democrats are doing better than the GOP in new converts — even in traditionally Republican counties.
There have been 218,749 newly registered Democrats in North Carolina since January — more than five times the 38,337 new Republicans, state records show.
The numbers show a startlingly close political battle even in Republican-dominated Union County, with 4,233 new voters registering as Democrats and 4,362 as Republicans. In previous election years, new Republicans have outnumbered Democrats 2-to-1 in the fast-growing Charlotte-area county.
In Missouri, one ACORN registrant named Monica Rays showed up on no less than eight forms, all bearing the same signature.
Suspicious election officials sent letters to some 5,000 ACORN registrants in St. Louis, asking the letter recipients to contact them.
Fewer than 40 reponded.
In Kansas City, 15,000 registrations have been questioned, and last year four ACORN employees were indicted for fraud.
In addition, ACORN officials have also been indicted in Wisconsin and Colorado. Investigations against others are active in Ohio, Florida, Pennsylvania and Tennessee.
ACORN has also been registering convicted felons — including inmates — in Florida and other battleground states. ACORN boasts registering a record 1.5 million new voters so far this election.

I have been told that Obama is running an ad in FL every 20min. If you don’t think that media, can’t persuade votes, that crazy. Obama has more money that any candidate ever? Why? The media idolizes him, and this is a clear manipulation on votes this election. There are young minds in positions to vote, who do you think they are giving those votes to? No ideas about the government or what the party stands for, but media propaganda. Obama is a first time senator with no track record. So you need to ask your self, why the Democrats are backing a young inexperienced lad? They want their party to be even stronger this election. Everyone side steps the fact the Democrats have had power top to bottom since 2006, now they will have total control, to continue screwing up America. Check the records.

Barack Obama and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Friends. They’ve worked together for years. But Obama tries to hide it. Why?
Obama launched his political career in Ayers’ living room. Ayers and Obama ran a radical “education” foundation, together. They wrote the foundation’s by-laws, together. Obama was the foundation’s first chairman. Reports say they, “distributed more than $100 million to ideological allies with no discernible improvement in education.”
When their relationship became an issue, Obama just responded, “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood.” That’s it?
We know Bill Ayers ran the “violent left wing activist group” called Weather Underground. We know Ayers’ wife was on the FBI’s 10 Most Wanted list. We know they bombed the Capitol. The Pentagon. A judge’s home. We know Ayers said, “I don’t regret setting bombs. …. I feel we didn’t do enough.”
But Obama’s friendship with terrorist Ayers isn’t the issue. The issue is Barack Obama’s judgment and candor. When Obama just says, “This is a guy who lives in my neighborhood,” Americans say, “Where’s the truth, Barack?”
Barack Obama. Too risky for America.

Does ACORN have an office in Indianapolis? You know they do.
According to STATSIndiana, In 2007, Indianapolis/Marion County had an estimated population of 876,804. Of that number 232,607 were below 18 years of age, for a total of 644,197 people in Marion County/Indianapolis 18 or over and thus eligible to vote. (Indiana allows felons to vote as long as they are not incarcerated).
So we have 644,197 people eligible to be registered in Marion County/Indianapolis, and 677,401 people registered. Congratulations go to Indianapolis for having 105% of its residents registered!
Across the nation voter registration irregularities are coming to light. Many of these irregularities involving the former employer, ACORN, of one of our Presidential candidates, Barack Obama. Now it comes to light that Obama’s campaign has paid ACORN over $800,000 for “get out the vote” efforts so far this campaign season.
At some point, someone is going to have to look into this stuff.

Let every vote count, is the Democratic Party’s mantra these days. That slogan might better be: Let every vote count as often as we need to win.
Such, at any rate, are the tactics of ACORN, Barack Obama’s favorite “community organizers,” and its Project Vote – of which, the Democratic presidential candidate has boasted, “I started working as the director . . . here in Chicago.”
ACORN has been implicated in voter-fraud schemes in 15 states – including Ohio, from where The Post’s Jeane MacIntosh reports today that a Board of Elections investigation has unearthed evidence of widespread voter fraud.
Two voters told MacIntosh they had been dragooned by ACORN activists into registering several times – one reporting having signed up “10 to 15″ times.
ACORN canvassers “would ask me if I was registered,” he said. “I’d say yes and they’d ask me to do it again.”
Tuesday, Nevada officials raided ACORN’s Las Vegas offices as part of a probe into voter-registration fraud – noting that some forms submitted by ACORN workers included the names of Dallas Cowboys players.
Officials in Lake County, Ind. report that fully 1,100 of 2,000 new voter-registration forms delivered by ACORN were “suspicious.”
In Washington state, officials recently closed an investigation into ballot cheating that resulted in prison terms.
ACORN submitted more than 800 phony registration forms in Independence, Mo., with one woman registering 10 times, using three birthdates, four different Social Security numbers and six different phone numbers.
And, as The Post reported Monday, another pro-Obama group, Vote Today Ohio, took advantage of a quirk in that state’s law, which allows people to register and vote on the same day without having to prove residency, to drive hundreds of people from homeless shelters and drug-rehab centers to the polls.
John McCain’s campaign says all this “doesn’t pass the smell test.”
Actually, it stinks.
And it’s being done by a group with which Barack Obama has proudly been associated.
What, then, would they be able to pull off with a friend in the White House?

I am puzzled………….
Isn’t Obama’s LEGAL middle name HUSSEIN? Has Obama dropped or changed his middle name from Hussein to something else? Don’t we all use our middle names?
So…..Why is it a problem to call Obama using his FULL LEGAL name. Again his full LEGAL name is BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA. Why should it be offensive to anyone? In fact we may need to get used to it in case he becomes our president.
I know Hussein is a muslim name. But if the majority of Americans choose a muslim man as their president, it is fine with me. After all, we live in a democratic country. That’s why we need to get used to the muslim name of the democratic nominee: BARACK HUSSEIN OBAMA.

In some states like Indiana Obama is outspending McCain 6 to 1, in Missouri its 5 to 1, in Virginia its 4 to 1 and in North Carolina its 12 to 1.
McCain is outspending Obama in Minnesota 6 to 1 and is still behind there.
So I guess not only is McCain out of ideas, and out of time he’s also running out of money.

John McCain Consorted with Domestic Anti-Abortion Terrorists
Raw Story reports that John McCain, against the advice of wiser heads, addressed a conference of the far right Oregon Citizens Alliance in the early 90s. He should have listened.
The speaker just prior to McCain publicly expressed sympathy for Shelly Shannon, who then stood accused (and was eventually convicted) of the attempted murder of Dr. George Tiller of Wichita, Kansas — as well as carrying out a multi-state spree of clinic arsons across the West.
Shelly Shannon also considered herself a soldier in the underground terror organization, Army of God, which views Shannon as a “hero of the faith” and a “Warrior Soldier in the Army of God.” The group devotes a section of its web site to celebrating her exploits and her martyrdom.

So, it is true! Money can buy a presidency! Both of these men should be ashamed of themselves spending this kind of money, when the economy is tanking. Why don’t they give some of that money to “bailout” plan, so the average tax payer isn’t left with the full load?
I would also like to add, the medica is also in the politicians pockets. Who is the media anyway to tell us how we should feel about one candidate or another? Unfortunately the majority of the American public believes everything you tell them, because they can’t seem to stop drinking the kool-aid. The medica is a HUGE part of the problem!

To all of the television stations including ABC, CBS and NBC. If you are truly being fair to both parties in this presidential race, then you would not just repeat the lies of the McCain Campaign saying “Who is Barack Obama and what is his relationship with Ayers the Terrorist?” You would not ask why Obama is running a negative ad campaign when you know he is only responding to the 100% negative ads of the McCain Campaign. This is not something that you do not know, but it is something that you do not mention and pretend that you do not know. This is insulting and condescending. You already know that Barack has denounced the actions of Ayres and that Barack was 8 years old at the time of these actions. You already know that McCain has a connection as well to the woman who headed the board which helped the children in the community. You are not being fair or equal and you know it.
You also already know that the board that Barack and Ayres served on was sponsored by a McCain supporter which links John Sydney McCain to Ayres also.

You do not mention the Keating 5 and ask do we really know John McCain. You do not mention the Iran-Contra group and how McCain not only supported this Terrorist group, but that his name was on their letterhead. Do we really know John McCain?
You do not mention John McCain and the rally he attended of a Hate group Terrorists who shot a doctor who performed an abortion and the delegate supporting McCain that called that individual who shot the doctor a good woman. John McCain did not walk out. He stayed their as if to support these actions. Do we really know John McCain?
You also do not mention to Sarah Palin about the Joe Vogler and her husband. This is an Alaskan Independence Party who were terrorists and who her husband Todd Palin’s was apart of and registered with this Independence Party up until September of this year when Sarah was picked as Vice President. Vogler was quoted as saying the following:
The Alaskan Independence Party quotes Vogler as stating “I’m an Alaskan, not an American. I’ve got no use for America or her damned institutions.”[1] [2]
“The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. And I won’t be buried under their damn flag. I’ll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home.” [3]

My concern and frankly my issue is that if you were true unbias fair and equal reporters who are impartial, why do you keep repeating the lies and smears of McCain and not addressing the true associations of Palin and McCain. Both McCain and Obama has ties to Ayres and McCain has more ties to terrorists than any candidate and Palin’s husband was apart of Terrorist group. When you truly are equally giving time and commentary to both’s associations, then I see you as impartial. If I found this information, then you know this information as well, but you never mention it or address it. Professionals address both sides, not just one. The next time George Stephanopolis says Why not Ayres? Ask for McCain or Obama? Then ask why not Keating 5? Why not Iran Contra connections with your name on the letterhead? Why not Hate groups who shoot to kill doctors? Why not the Alaskan Independence? Party? Why not McCain’s rejection of many bills for American veteran soldiers? Why not ask Cindy if she did not get a chill from the many bills your husband rejected, why did she not get a chill from a bill that would keep the soldiers in Iraq for an unlimited amount of time. An illegal war spurred by Bush/McCain? Why did that not give Cindy a chill? How about Obama voting for the Veterans 80% and your husband John voting 20% with the veterans? Did that give Cindy a chill? And can Cindy really handle switching shoes with Obama or Michele for 1 day Mrs. Bud? Can you really handle growing up the way Obama did? Would you be as successful and had persevered as much as he has? What a minute, if with your privileged life you have not gone as far, you probably would have gone as far with a life with tremendous struggle and many adversities.

Show me how far the media has come and dare to address any of the above statements I’ve listed. I am not afraid to apologize and say that I am wrong, but I am sick of hearing from even MSNBC Ayres and Obama and not hearing McCain and Keating 5 and Iran Contra, Hate groups killing doctors and Todd Palin’s Alaskan Independence Party and McCain and how he voted against the veterans and your rebuttal of McCain not be a 30 second side mention after a 20 minute blowup of McCain’s misrepresentations and lies. What it looks like to me is that Republican people own these stations. Be fair to America and if they have a right to know about Ayres then they have a right to know about John McCain’s connections as well Palin’s connections, otherwise you and John McCain and Sarah Palin are the biggest deceiving hypocrites of all time. What you are doing is not Republican politics but modern day racism. You are saying that McCain has the right to be a true elliest misrepresent and lie on an Bi-racial candidate and the man should just let him attack and do nothing because as white man he has entitlement. Also, this Bi-racial man has no right to look at either my past or my running mates past and no one has the right to question me on either, especially when I am lying about the Bi-racial man. Is this what you call professional, impartial reporting. Many would call that racist, biased, controlling and unfair.

I never thought I would be in 2008 and TV networks and the McCain Campaign would be okay with inciting hate and abuse of the civil rights of a candidate while people are threatening lives based on lies conjured up by Palin and McCain and I question the people who support and condone that despite the ignorant lie of one of these commentators to say they are not racist. IT IS NOT OKAY. I DON’T HAVE TO BE BLACK TO BE OUTRAGED.

TODD PALIN’S EVIL PAL’S. THIS IS THE TRUTH AND IT IS HISTORY SO IT CANNOT BE DISTORTED. THE MEDIA JUST CONVENIENTLY DOES NOT MENTION IT.
During the 1970s, Vogler founded the Alaskan Independence Party (AIP) and Alaskans For Independence. He also claimed to have organized the meeting which led to the formation of the Libertarian Party in Alaska. The AIP and AFI, as Vogler explained, were intended to function as strictly separate entities — AIP primarily to explore whether the 1956 vote by Alaskans authorizing statehood was legal, and AFI primarily to actively pursue secession for Alaska from the United States.
The Alaskan Independence Party quotes Vogler as stating “I’m an Alaskan, not an American. I’ve got no use for America or her damned institutions.”[1] [2]
In a 1991 interview currently housed at the Oral History Program in the Rasmuson Library at the University of Alaska, Fairbanks, Vogler is recorded as saying “The fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government. And I won’t be buried under their damn flag. I’ll be buried in Dawson. And when Alaska is an independent nation they can bring my bones home.” [3]
Palin first registered to vote in 1989. From 1995 to 2002 he was registered to vote as a member of the Alaskan Independence Party.[11] In late August 2008, The Politico reported that Palin was registered to vote as an independent (“undeclared”), and had never registered as a Republican.[12] In early September 2008, a spokesman for John McCain said Palin was now a registered Republican.[2]

It looks like Obama is buying the Presidency with these saturating ad buys. I live in Florida and I have been seeing back to back Obama ads for 6 months. I am sick of hearing him and mute the sound whenever he comes on. I think a lot of people are tuning out just like I am. It is annoying and an insult to the intelligence of the voter. We heard it the first time. Enough already. I can sure think of much better things the money could be used for by both candidates. Another thing that gets to me is how Obama/Biden talk about how much the middle class are suffering and then you get requests for campaign contributions and the top amount asked for is $250.00. No I don’t know about the rest of you but I think it is hypocritical to be drowning in a sea of cash and hounding people that are struggling to make ends meet for $250.00. If I had $250.00 to spend I would use it for gas, groceries and things that I need and not just throwing it to the wind for a political campaign. I don’t think these two get it at all.

Obama and the lieing/corrupt Democratic campaign have accepted lots of contributions over the $2,300 per election limit for individuals. As well, more than half of the whopping $426.9 million Barack Obama has raised has come from small donors whose names the Obama campaign WON’T DISCLOSE.
And questions have arisen about millions more in foreign donations the Obama campaign has received that apparently have not been vetted as legitimate.
Obama has raised nearly twice that of John McCain’s campaign, according to new campaign finance report.

Wake up folks, he is a socialist crook.
First, there is Secret, Foreign Money Flooding Into Obama Campaign
It’s proven 2,087 individuals have given Obama more than the $4,600 combined total for the primaries and the general election.
Donors with common names but who live in different parts of the country are among these 2,087 names. For example, the top individual contributor is Michael Brown, listed as giving $36,706 to the campaign.
But a closer look turns up what appear to be 46 different people sharing the same name, each giving addresses in different cities around the United States.
Sean Cairncross, the general counsel for the Republican National Committee who filed the complaint with the FEC on Monday, told Newsmax that the McCain campaign has been “completely transparent with respect to its contributions” by making the names of all donors available to the public in a searchable database. The McCain campaign has even disclosed donors of $200 or less, though it is not required to do so. The Obama camp has not disclosed those donors.
“The Obama campaign has steadfastly refused to make that information public,” he said.

Foreign countries who would love to see America divided and conquered are hoping Obama is elected to help their cause.
The FEC has compiled a separate database of potentially questionable overseas donations that contains more than 11,500 contributions totaling $33.8 million. More than 520 listed their “state” as “IR,” which the FEC often uses as an abbreviation for “information requested.” Another 63 listed it as “UK,” the United Kingdom.
others came from places as far afield as Abu Dhabi, Addis Ababa, Beijing, Fallujah, Florence, Italy, and a wide selection of towns and cities in France
In June, Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi gave a public speech praising Obama, claiming foreign nationals were donating to his campaign.
“All the people in the Arab and Islamic world and in Africa applauded this man,” the Libyan leader said. “They welcomed him and prayed for him and for his success, and they may have even been involved in legitimate contribution campaigns to enable him to win the American presidency…”
Gadhafi asserted that fundraising from Arab and African nations were “legitimate,” the fact is that U.S. federal law bans any foreigner from donating to a U.S. election campaign.

The chosen one thinks he’s ABOVE THE LAW.
Review of the Obama campaign finance filings found that the FEC had asked for the redesignation or refund of 53,828 illegal donations, totaling just under $30 million.
A pair of Palestinian brothers named Hosam and Monir Edwan contributed more than $31,300 to the Obama campaign in October and November 2007, FEC records show.
Though Gadhafi asserted that fundraising from Arab and African nations were “legitimate,” the fact is that U.S. federal law bans any foreigner from donating to a U.S. election campaign.
The rise of the Internet and use of credit cards have made it easier for foreign nationals to donate to American campaigns, especially if they claim their donation is less than $200.

I SAY RATHER THAN MAKE THE LIAR REFUND ALL THIS ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS TO THOSE TO ILLEGALLY CONTRIBUTED IT.
THEY SHOULD MAKE HIM TURN IT OVER TO THE FAILED ECONOMY. GREAT WAY TO USE IT.
What a crook he is.

I have been imensely proud of the American system that facilitated a black man to contest the Presidential elections. I do hope that those who oppose Mr Obama do so because you do not agree with his politics and not because you are racists!

I seem to recall that John Kerry was up by a similar amount in October 2004. :)

Welcome to the Divided States of America, where a name you were given at birth makes you guilty by association….where you can dump your wife who stood by you during your POW years but becomes disfigured in an accident, and run off and six months later marry a rich chick, and yet you are labeled a Christian….where you can rant and rave about nonsense because your campaign has no substance to offer when it comes to issues….where you can be in bed with a convicted felon in the S&L scandal (much similar to the scandal of todays banking industry) and then try to make a plea for your advisary to be guilty by association with a person that had a fund raiser for you…..don’t worry Bin Laden, we can handle this division of our country without your help

Obama scares me. And people who vote for Obama scare me. Obama keeps bad company, friends. And there is not a soul out there that can convince me that they are not influenced by their friends. Not only that but Obama sugar coats everything. You know who else sugar coated everything? Hitler. Also he has been trying to get in touch with his “Black” side….has he forgotten that his “white” side is the one that raised him? He went to see his half brother who is in poverty and didn’t do a thing for him….I have half brothers and sisters and I have opened my home for them and they have done the same for me. Thats called family. And what about his college loans? I’m in college and I can’t afford a trip around the world even with scholarship. That must have been on crazy scholarship. Obama also seems to believe that he knows what’s best for the average middle class American. I think he is going to sweet talk us out of our rights and ability to vote on things. I’m voting for McCain and Palin. At least McCain is being realistic on all of this. Things always get worse before they can get better. Sadly though…and I don’t think anyone can disagree, Obama is probly going to win this election.

For the first time in my life I am frightened that American politics have gotten to the point where The American people have absolutely nothing to do with the way our country is run. Whose fault is it, ours. Our people have thought we were different, that our lives would never change. We must now open our eyes and see what’s going on, and get mad at how we have been duped.
On the Glenn Beck website everyone should watch his videos on energy. He goes back to 1977. Since then, every President has fed the American people with the exact same promises and absolutely NOTHING has changed.
His videos on immigration and healthcare tell the same story.
I am voting for Chuck Baldwin of the Constitutional party. His plans for our future are the only ones that make any sense. Some may say it’s a wasted vote, but better a wasted vote than voting for a man I don’t trust or a man who will probably keep all of President Bush’s policies.
The war with Iraq should never have happened. Obama’s background with terrorists, radical muslims, and ACORN are suspect and should be investigated. I read another comment on the man who paid for his Harvard education. I, also, researched the subject and what I found out was alarming. It was just reported that his campaign gave $800,000 to ACORN, which his being investigated for fraud concerning the voting process. The $700B bailout was unconstitutional and the American people did not want it. Secretary Paulson should be arrested along with his cohorts.
Big business men who have spent so much money on themselves should be prosecuted and made to give that money back. CEO’s that were given millions of dollars for their golden carpets should be made to do the same.
The American people have to open their eyes and start letting are so called leaders, that we are fed up and not going to have absolutely no say in how our country is run.
Thank you for listening.

I just posted a comment, but would like to add a little more info. Please Americans research the Federal Reserve Bank. The Millionaires that started this corrupt institution have robbed us blind. We have to do everything we can to put an end to the fed.
