I THINK I KNOW what Palin is hiding. The circumstances surrounding the birth of her youngest child are difficult to explain.
She flew to Texas to give a speech very, very late in the pregnancy against medical advice. Even after her water broke, she insisted on giving the speech and FLYING BACK HOME to Anchorage and went to Wasilla by car.
It makes me feel bad to say it, but I think she was trying to lose the baby.

I don’t think elected officials should be required to release their full medical records. They have the right to some privacy in these matters. I wouldn’t want my potential employer to be able to demand to see every detail of my personal medical history — would you? What do the American people want, a guaranteed warranty on every political candidate? There is always the possibility that a US president will die while in office (due to accidents, assassination, unforeseen health conditions, etc.). That is why there are established lines of succession for the presidency. I’m a democrat and I don’t care whether Sarah Palin (or any of the other candidates) releases their medical records.

I’m an independent voter who has voted for many parties over the year. I try to educate myself on who is best, regardless of party. While there are questions about Obama’s records, they all have logical answers when researched.
But Palin’s holding back medical records raises some questions that make me, as a voter, uneasy. It’s a real easy fix for the Palin campaign, release the records and let us relax.
As for the Khalidi tape, I remember hearing fantastic stories about a racist rant by Michelle Obama being caught on tape, but eventually it came out that no such thing existed. I have a feeling this is such a case.
As for Obama and his connections with various people, who are considered less than appropriate, I see it as a well rounded education. Every story has two sides and it’s nice to see a candidate who is willing to, as Paul Harvey always said, hear the rest of the story.
I had high hopes for Bush, but it didn’t take long to realize his world views were incredibly narrow, and we can’t make that mistake again.

2. The LA Times doesn’t own “that tape” but they have seen it and all it shows is that Obama met with a group of American Palestinians in Chicago five years ago. He also attend many other cultural events that no one seems to care about. The LA times says the tape shows Obama discussing issues between Palestine and Israel and how both sides need to find a common ground to stop the violence. There is nothing there that shows Obama is a terrorist. The editors of the LA times say it actually shows Obama in a very pro-Israel light. Has anyone seen that baby move at all? I know they drag it around enough that we should have seen that baby move, Down Syndrome or not. How about brain damage from drug use (If it belongs to Bristol) or lack of oxygen or infection(from the water breaking so long before delivery)? I also thought she handled the baby in an odd manner. I am the oldest in a very large family, I had my own kids, and have watched daily after my grandchildren. Men just don’t get it. If Trig is her baby, that was a long, freaky labor, especially for a fifth child. Like I said, men don’t get it and they also don’t get the clothes, hair and make-up issues.

It does take some time to collect medical records. Some items does need to be sensored. Is there a web sight to look at the reviews of mccain, biden and obama’s medical records.

No natural born means natural born. McCain was born in Panama. His father was in the military and John was born on base that is considered Natural born. If you were born in a hospital in Paris (not related to the military) you would not be natural born.

If there were no problems in Obama’s case it would not rise to significance, but he and his attorney’s have maneuvered the Court to rule in their favor, albeit as a legal maneuver not as a matter of substance. U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick ruled that a suit brought by Phillip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania attorney, was, “too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters,” and dismissed the case for lack of “Standing.” But it will only delay, not stop the inevitable. In my opinion, now that the Judge has dismissed the case, others, perhaps the Attorney General, or even those who support Obama will pursue it. In the supporters’ instance it would be to prove that he is eligible, and in the Constitutionalists’ instance it will be to clarify whether or not Obama is eligible to be President. The entire matter could be resolved if the State of Hawaii produced the original copy of Obama’s birth certificate, or if Obama has one, if he would produce it; not the one posted on his website because it is by expert accounts, a fake. And compare it to the following which is an authentic birth certificate from the State of Hawaii. It was copied from an article in NewsMax.com titled, “Obama Refuses to Answer Birth Certificate Lawsuit.”
The one above is authentic, so where does that leave Obama? The obvious answer is that it leaves him in a hoax or another lie, and this one disqualifies him to be President.
This has already been, and may prove to be an even more interesting election, because if Obama should win the electoral votes to become President, which he won’t, and between the election and inauguration he is found to be ineligible, that would put the entire matter into a cocked hat. Would Biden automatically “ascend,” or would Hillary be “crowned?” Or, would the entire matter be back to the Supreme Court and the entire Democrat Party process be invalidated, and the election handed to Senator McCain by default? Wouldn’t the left love that?
Judge Surrick’s dismissal of the case raises the question of who or what entity would have standing to bring a suit? Having read Berg’s complaint one is astonished at the poor legal writing skills, but that aside the case is intriguing. Read, my previous article on this subject.
In the world of legal justice in the contemporary United States, it evidently matters not that there is a legitimate question about Obama’s citizenship status, because in the legal world everything hinges on whether or not one has “standing” to bring suit. If an American Citizen who is subject to the Constitution, brings a suit so fundamental to the heart of the elective process about the qualifications of a Candidate for the Presidency, does not have “standing,” no person can have standing given the wording of Judge Surrick’s ruling, and that portends a fight potentially of a different sort.
If the ruling means that only another candidate for the Presidency can bring suit, then one would think that a man of integrity would do it, but in this instance that man might just be a woman.

Regarding her medical records a one page document listing any major medical issues and her current state of health would suffice. Most people just want to make sure if elected she wouldn’t collapse from a heart condition or have some pre-existing cancer, etc. Am curious as to why it is taking so long though.

IS OBAMA A NATURAL BORN US CITIZEN?

Article II, U.S. Constitution states, “No Person except a natural born Citizen, or a Citizen of the United States, at the time of the Adoption of this Constitution, shall be eligible to the Office of President; neither shall any Person be eligible to that Office who shall not have attained to the Age of thirty five Years, and been fourteen Years a Resident within the United States.”
The issue is so fundamental that it defies reason that any patriotic American would not want to clarify a candidate’s status before an election. If there were no problems in Obama’s case it would not rise to significance, but he and his attorney’s have maneuvered the Court to rule in their favor, albeit as a legal maneuver not as a matter of substance. U.S. District Judge R. Barclay Surrick ruled that a suit brought by Phillip J. Berg, a Pennsylvania attorney, was, “too vague and its effects too attenuated to confer standing on any and all voters,” and dismissed the case for lack of “Standing.” But it will only delay, not stop the inevitable. In my opinion, now that the Judge has dismissed the case, others, perhaps the Attorney General, or even those who support Obama will pursue it. In the supporters’ instance it would be to prove that he is eligible, and in the Constitutionalists’ instance it will be to clarify whether or not Obama is eligible to be President. The entire matter could be resolved if the State of Hawaii produced the original copy of Obama’s birth certificate, or if Obama has one, if he would produce it; not the one posted on his website because it is by expert accounts, a fake. And compare it to the following which is an authentic birth certificate from the State of Hawaii. It was copied from an article in NewsMax.com titled, “Obama Refuses to Answer Birth Certificate Lawsuit.”
The one above is authentic, so where does that leave Obama? The obvious answer is that it leaves him in a hoax or another lie, and this one disqualifies him to be President.
This has already been, and may prove to be an even more interesting election, because if Obama should win the electoral votes to become President, which he won’t, and between the election and inauguration he is found to be ineligible, that would put the entire matter into a cocked hat. Would Biden automatically “ascend,” or would Hillary be “crowned?” Or, would the entire matter be back to the Supreme Court and the entire Democrat Party process be invalidated, and the election handed to Senator McCain by default? Wouldn’t the left love that?
Judge Surrick’s dismissal of the case raises the question of who or what entity would have standing to bring a suit? Having read Berg’s complaint one is astonished at the poor legal writing skills, but that aside the case is intriguing. Read, my previous article on this subject.
In the world of legal justice in the contemporary United States, it evidently matters not that there is a legitimate question about Obama’s citizenship status, because in the legal world everything hinges on whether or not one has “standing” to bring suit. If an American Citizen who is subject to the Constitution, brings a suit so fundamental to the heart of the elective process about the qualifications of a Candidate for the Presidency, does not have “standing,” no person can have standing given the wording of Judge Surrick’s ruling, and that portends a fight potentially of a different sort.
If the ruling means that only another candidate for the Presidency can bring suit, then one would think that a man of integrity would do it, but in this instance that man might just be a woman.
“John McCain is a giant of a man, a man of integrity, a man of valor, and a man of experience; a man who endured the unendurable, was tried in the crucible and emerged an authentic American patriot and hero. He may not be an eloquent speaker, he may not have the most charismatic personality, and, although John McCain has manifest his human failures along the way, I will support him, I will work for him, I will vote for him and I will salute him in victory!”

Sen. Barack Obama’s presidential campaign is allowing donors to use largely untraceable prepaid credit cards that could potentially be used to evade limits on how much an individual is legally allowed to give or to mask a contributor’s identity, campaign officials confirmed.
Faced with a huge influx of donations over the Internet, the campaign has also chosen not to use basic security measures to prevent potentially illegal or anonymous contributions from flowing into its accounts, aides acknowledged. Instead, the campaign is scrutinizing its books for improper donations after the money has been deposited.
The Obama organization said its extensive review has ensured that the campaign has refunded any improper contributions, and noted that Federal Election Commission rules do not require front-end screening of donations.
In recent weeks, questionable contributions have created headaches for Obama’s accounting team as it has tried to explain why campaign finance filings have included itemized donations from individuals using fake names, such as Es Esh or Doodad Pro. Those revelations prompted conservative bloggers to further test Obama’s finance vetting by giving money using the kind of prepaid cards that can be bought at a drugstore and cannot be traced to a donor.
The problem with such cards, campaign finance lawyers said, is that they make it impossible to tell whether foreign nationals, donors who have exceeded the limits, government contractors or others who are barred from giving to a federal campaign are making contributions.

After you vote Obama into office I hope you all cheer when the company lays you off because they’re being taxed out the rearend. Oh yeah, that’s right….the check will be in the mail from the government to support you.

According to the Hawaii State Department of Health (HSDH):
1. Certified copies of birth certificates are NEVER sent electronically. Copies can be requested by qualified individuals in person, by mail, or on line; and the Vital Records (VR) office will MAIL the Certification of Live Birth within 4 to 6 weeks.
2. Certifications of Live Birth will ALWAYS include an embossed seal.
3. The Vital Records office will NEVER black out the certification number.

Would the Last Honest Reporter Please Turn On the Lights?

An open letter to the local daily paper — almost every local daily paper in America:
I remember reading All the President’s Men and thinking: That’s journalism. You do what it takes to get the truth and you lay it before the public, because the public has a right to know.
This housing crisis didn’t come out of nowhere. It was not a vague emanation of the evil Bush administration.
It was a direct result of the political decision, back in the late 1990s, to loosen the rules of lending so that home loans would be more accessible to poor people. Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac were authorized to approve risky loans.
What is a risky loan? It’s a loan that the recipient is likely not to be able to repay.
The goal of this rule change was to help the poor — which especially would help members of minority groups. But how does it help these people to give them a loan that they can’t repay? They get into a house, yes, but when they can’t make the payments, they lose the house — along with their credit rating.
They end up worse off than before.
This was completely foreseeable and in fact many people did foresee it. One political party, in Congress and in the executive branch, tried repeatedly to tighten up the rules. The other party blocked every such attempt and tried to loosen them.
Furthermore, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae were making political contributions to the very members of Congress who were allowing them to make irresponsible loans. (Though why quasi-federal agencies were allowed to do so baffles me. It’s as if the Pentagon were allowed to contribute to the political campaigns of Congressmen who support increasing their budget.)
Isn’t there a story here? Doesn’t journalism require that you who produce our daily paper tell the truth about who brought us to a position where the only way to keep confidence in our economy was a $700 billion bailout? Aren’t you supposed to follow the money and see which politicians were benefiting personally from the deregulation of mortgage lending?
I have no doubt that if these facts had pointed to the Republican Party or to John McCain as the guilty parties, you would be treating it as a vast scandal. “Housing-gate,” no doubt. Or “Fannie-gate.”
Instead, it was Senator Christopher Dodd and Congressman Barney Frank, both Democrats, who denied that there were any problems, who refused Bush administration requests to set up a regulatory agency to watch over Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, and who were still pushing for these agencies to go even further in promoting sub-prime mortgage loans almost up to the minute they failed.
As Thomas Sowell points out in a TownHall.com essay entitled “Do Facts Matter?” ( http://snipurl.com/457townhall_com ): “Alan Greenspan warned them four years ago. So did the Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers to the President. So did Bush’s Secretary of the Treasury.”
These are facts. This financial crisis was completely preventable. The party that blocked any attempt to prevent it was … the Democratic Party. The party that tried to prevent it was … the Republican Party.
Yet when Nancy Pelosi accused the Bush administration and Republican deregulation of causing the crisis, you in the press did not hold her to account for her lie. Instead, you criticized Republicans who took offense at this lie and refused to vote for the bailout!
What? It’s not the liar, but the victims of the lie who are to blame?
Now let’s follow the money … right to the presidential candidate who is the number-two recipient of campaign contributions from Fannie Mae.
And after Franklin Raines, the CEO of Fannie Mae who made $90 million while running it into the ground, was fired for his incompetence, one presidential candidate’s campaign actually consulted him for advice on housing.
If that presidential candidate had been John McCain, you would have called it a major scandal and we would be getting stories in your paper every day about how incompetent and corrupt he was.
But instead, that candidate was Barack Obama, and so you have buried this story, and when the McCain campaign dared to call Raines an “adviser” to the Obama campaign — because that campaign had sought his advice — you actually let Obama’s people get away with accusing McCain of lying, merely because Raines wasn’t listed as an official adviser to the Obama campaign.
You would never tolerate such weasely nit-picking from a Republican.
If you who produce our local daily paper actually had any principles, you would be pounding this story, because the prosperity of all Americans was put at risk by the foolish, short-sighted, politically selfish, and possibly corrupt actions of leading Democrats, including Obama.
If you who produce our local daily paper had any personal honor, you would find it unbearable to let the American people believe that somehow Republicans were to blame for this crisis.
There are precedents. Even though President Bush and his administration never said that Iraq sponsored or was linked to 9/11, you could not stand the fact that Americans had that misapprehension — so you pounded us with the fact that there was no such link. (Along the way, you created the false impression that Bush had lied to them and said that there was a connection.)
If you had any principles, then surely right now, when the American people are set to blame President Bush and John McCain for a crisis they tried to prevent, and are actually shifting to approve of Barack Obama because of a crisis he helped cause, you would be laboring at least as hard to correct that false impression.
Your job, as journalists, is to tell the truth. That’s what you claim you do, when you accept people’s money to buy or subscribe to your paper.
But right now, you are consenting to or actively promoting a big fat lie — that the housing crisis should somehow be blamed on Bush, McCain, and the Republicans. You have trained the American people to blame everything bad — even bad weather — on Bush, and they are responding as you have taught them to.
If you had any personal honor, each reporter and editor would be insisting on telling the truth — even if it hurts the election chances of your favorite candidate.
Because that’s what honorable people do. Honest people tell the truth even when they don’t like the probable consequences. That’s what honesty means . That’s how trust is earned.
Barack Obama is just another politician, and not a very wise one. He has revealed his ignorance and naivete time after time — and you have swept it under the rug, treated it as nothing.
Meanwhile, you have participated in the borking of Sarah Palin, reporting savage attacks on her for the pregnancy of her unmarried daughter — while you ignored the story of John Edwards’s own adultery for many months.
So I ask you now: Do you have any standards at all? Do you even know what honesty means?
Is getting people to vote for Barack Obama so important that you will throw away everything that journalism is supposed to stand for?
You might want to remember the way the National Organization of Women threw away their integrity by supporting Bill Clinton despite his well-known pattern of sexual exploitation of powerless women. Who listens to NOW anymore? We know they stand for nothing; they have no principles.
That’s where you are right now.
It’s not too late. You know that if the situation were reversed, and the truth would damage McCain and help Obama, you would be moving heaven and earth to get the true story out there.
If you want to redeem your honor, you will swallow hard and make a list of all the stories you would print if it were McCain who had been getting money from Fannie Mae, McCain whose campaign had consulted with its discredited former CEO, McCain who had voted against tightening its lending practices.
Then you will print them, even though every one of those true stories will point the finger of blame at the reckless Democratic Party, which put our nation’s prosperity at risk so they could feel good about helping the poor, and lay a fair share of the blame at Obama’s door.
You will also tell the truth about John McCain: that he tried, as a Senator, to do what it took to prevent this crisis. You will tell the truth about President Bush: that his administration tried more than once to get Congress to regulate lending in a responsible way.
This was a Congress-caused crisis, beginning during the Clinton administration, with Democrats leading the way into the crisis and blocking every effort to get out of it in a timely fashion.
If you at our local daily newspaper continue to let Americans believe — and vote as if — President Bush and the Republicans caused the crisis, then you are joining in that lie.
If you do not tell the truth about the Democrats — including Barack Obama — and do so with the same energy you would use if the miscreants were Republicans — then you are not journalists by any standard.
You’re just the public relations machine of the Democratic Party, and it’s time you were all fired and real journalists brought in, so that we can actually have a news paper in our city.

Sarkozy Story Spurs Florida Re-Release Of McCain Ad

Capitalizing on a report in the Israeli press today suggesting that French President Nicholas Sarkozy thinks Barack Obama’s stance on Iran is “utterly immature,” John McCain is re-releasing an ad that highlights comments the Democrat made in May — calling the country “tiny” (compared to the former Soviet Union) — to argue that he is “dangerously unprepared” for the presidency.
For the cash-strapped McCain camp, the re-release of this ad is a cost-effective means of political recycling; jumping on the news peg of Sarkozy’s comments (per an anonymous Israeli government source), the campaign can convey a strong message without producing a new ad.
The ad, “Tiny,” originally released in “key states” during the Democratic convention, is now running only in “key Florida markets.” This is one of the smaller ad buys that the campaign has officially disclosed — further evidence that McCain is now targeting an ever-smaller list of battleground states he thinks he can win. While Florida was projected to fall into McCain’s column earlier in the race, the polling data shows a strong shift toward Obama as of mid- to late September, and he is now besting his GOP opponent in almost all surveys.

The Last Two Years

The Obama/Biden ticket’s entire campaign theme is based on “the last eight years.” Maybe we should really look at “the last two years,” or the time period when both the House and the Senate were run by Democrats.
In December 2006, after six years of Bush and the last month before the Democrats took over both houses of the national legislature, a snapshot of our economy looked like this.
Unemployment stood at 4.4%.
Real GDP growth over the previous four years (under a Republican President, House and Senate) averaged 3% per year.
A gallon of regular gasoline cost $2.30.
The S&P 500 stock index stood at 1418, or 84% above its post-911 low and more than 7% higher than when Bush took office.
Every year of Bush’s Presidency, real (inflation-adjusted) disposable income per person went up. By the end of 2006, the average person was making 9% more in real terms than before Bush became President .
If you recall, that 2006 election was considered a referendum on Iraq. The people wanted change, so they threw out the Republicans and replaced them with Democrats. Welcome Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi.
Here is how they handled Iraq once in office: Harry Reid told us that the Iraq war was “lost” and the surge was not “accomplishing anything.” Senator Obama introduced legislation that would have prevented the surge and would have taken all US troops out of Iraq by March 2008 (that would be seven months ago, as you read this) .
Were they right?
Barack Obama now admits that “the surge succeeded.” So much for that change. And as the surge succeeded, Congress’s approval ratings plummeted. The latest CBS/New York Times poll has it at 12%, well less than half of the already low level it stood at when the Republican Congress was being tossed out in 2006.
The Democratic Congress did a great job, if what you’re looking for in a Congress is continual investigation of Republicans. Did the White House out CIA agent Valerie Plame? No, it was the anti-White House Richard Armitage at State, but Congress investigated anyway. Did Alberto Gonzalez, with White House urging, fire nine prosecutors for political reasons? Probably not, and it wouldn’t be a crime anyway, but Congress investigated, and is still investigating. Did the CIA, under orders from the White House, “torture” prisoners? No evidence of that yet, but Congress is on the case.
What Congress would not investigate was anything about Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. In fact, they fought against such investigations and cast aspersions against anyone who would even doubt the soundness of those institutions. Here is what Barney Frank said:
These two entities, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, are not facing any kind of financial crisis. The more people exaggerate these problems, the more pressure there is on these companies, the less we will see in terms of affordable housing.

But now we know what happened. Fannie and Freddie were run corruptly and ineptly and went bankrupt. Their $1.5 trillion portfolios had to be rescued by the government this year. Franklin Raines, the Clinton-appointed CEO of Fannie Mae who was vigorously defended by Congressional Democrats, was sued by government regulators for cooking the books to the tune of $10 billion to increase his own bonuses to the tune of tens of millions. He settled his suit for an estimated $25 million.
On the other hand, here is what the New York Times had to say in 2003 .
The Bush administration is rightly pushing for the Treasury Department to regulate the two giants, along with the network of federal home loan banks. Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae provide financing to lenders by creating a secondary market for mortgages. All told, these two institutions’ debt portfolio exceeds more than $1.5 trillion. Their current regulator is ill equipped to keep tabs on Freddie’s and Fannie’s sophisticated hedging strategies and the other financial moves they use to manage their huge investments.
And here is what John McCain said on the Senate floor:
For years I have been concerned about the regulatory structure that governs Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac… I join as a cosponsor of the Federal Housing Enterprise Regulatory Reform Act of 2005, S. 190, to underscore my support for quick passage of GSE regulatory reform legislation. If Congress does not act, American taxpayers will continue to be exposed to the enormous risk that Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac pose to the housing market, the overall financial system, and the economy as a whole.
So on the big things, the surge in Iraq and the failure of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac that led to our recent financial mess, the Democrats were wrong. Dead wrong. One hundred eighty degrees out wrong.
On the other hand, who supported the surge? George W. Bush and John McCain.
Who tried to strengthen the oversight and regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac? George W. Bush and John McCain.
In the case of the surge, Bush and McCain got their way. The result? Apparent victory in Iraq, a country that is now a democracy, at peace with its neighbors, no longer a WMD threat, no longer a terrorist sanctuary, and no longer filling hundreds of mass graves with hundreds of thousands of its own citizens.
In the case of Fannie and Freddie, Bush and McCain did not get their way – Barney Frank did. The result? The failure of Fannie and Freddie, law suits against their executives and the spark that sent banks failing and stocks falling across the globe to the point of threatening a Great Depression.
Let’s vote for change. Let’s undo what we did in 2006

My first thought when I watched it that night was: why would she say that?
My thoughts are that Trig is definitely not hers, she might have history of depression and/or abortions, which would ruin her chances with the base. Maybe depression over an abortion sometime in her past has now caused her to take the radical view that she now has on the subject.
I also believe she has had plastic surgery and other vanity-inspired procedures. She looks drastically different than she did when she was running for Miss Alaska. She clearly has had lip-liner tatooed onto her mouth.

If the child of a muslim is a muslim then that means that McCain’s adopted daughter born in Bangledesh to muslim parents, is a muslim as well. Sadly, however, Obama will not be any such man. Instead, he seems the liberal mirror image of George Bush. He too is willing to act unilateral when a multilateral approach will prove more effective, for instance on the subject of free trade. Unlike what many Obama supporters would like one to believe, Canada and Mexico are not exactly thrilled with Obama’s promise to unilaterally decide that NAFTA should be renegotiated.
Not only did Canada and Mexico respond angrily to Obama’s pledges during the Democratic primaries to renegotiate NAFTA and other free trade agreements, European politicians also warned the Democratic leadership that America would be wise to support the principles of free trade it advocated during the Clinton and Bush years. Although Obama has stopped talking frequently about limiting free trade in order to ‘protect’ American businesses, Europe and other allies of the U.S. remain worried that he will implement anti-free trade policies nonetheless once in office.
And then there is the issue of Iran. In May of this year, Britain’s Foreign Minister David Miliband said back in May of this year that Obama’s views on Iran worry him and his European colleagues. They fear, he said back then, that Obama’s plans will jeopardize their efforts to prevent Iran from developing nuclear weapons, thereby altering the balance of power in the region significantly.
Today, another foreign newspaper, the Haaretz, reported on the views of yet another leading European polician: Nicolas Sarkozy, president of France. Sarkozy too “is very critical of U.S. presidential candidate Barack Obama’s positions on Iran,” the report says, fearing that America’s attitude towards Iran in 2009 may cause the Mullahs to continue pursuing nuclear weapons, with no one willing or able to stop them.
According to reliable sources, Sarkozy considers Obama’s views on Iran to be “utterly immature,” and comprised of “formulations empty of all content.” These are words no European leader would use lightly to describe the views of a (future) American president. Nonetheless, Sarkozy used them to describe Obama in closed forums in France.
He also argues, according to sources, that Obama’s views on Iran are not “crystallized, and therefore many issues remain open,” which worries Sarkozy tremendously.
Sarkozy believes that an Obama administration would undo all the efforts of Europe, allied with the United States, to force Iran into giving up its nuclear program. Obama, Sarkozy believes, will be likely to destroy the multilateral alliance against Iran and, instead, agree to directly negotiate with Iran without any preconditions.
Europe considers negotiating without preconditions with Iran to be silly, possibly counterproductive and dangerous.
France’s intelligence agency believes that Iran has already produced 40% of the enriched uranium it needs to build a nuclear bomb. Tehran will have enough to do so in the Spring or Summer of 2009, the French believe.
As such, Sarkozy’s concerns about Barack Obama are both logical and prudent. He is determined to negotiate with Obama if he does indeed win the election November 4, but he fears that Obama will prove too much of an ideological dove to deter Iran.
Interestingly, where Europe accused the United States of being too hawkish under George W. Bush, it now fears that an Obama administration will act just as unilateral as Bush’s, and will be too dovish. European leaders are sending out very clear warning signals about what they think of Obama and his foreign policy views, which is being ignored by most American media.
Obama often presents himself as a man who will restore America’s alliance with Europe. When one takes a closer look at his foreign policy plans, however, it becomes clear that Obama will do no such thing. Instead, he seems determined to pursue a highly ideological foreign policy which will put him on collision course with Europe. European politicians and columnists understand this, perhaps it is time for Americans who favor improving the Europe-U.S. relationship to pay attention to them.

Obama’s positions on Iran are groundless. To the contrary, the in-depth discussions between the president of the Republic and Sen. Obama on Iran during their meeting in Paris in July demonstrated a broad convergence of views on this issue. President Sarkozy and Sen. Obama agree to oppose Iran’s development of a military nuclear capability.”
Of course, those who know a bit about European politics such as myself would say: yes, what else did you expect them to do? The quite plausible explanation is: Sarkozy didn’t have another option, not in Europe at least. He too realizes that Obama is likely to win. He’ll have to work with him whether he finds his words “immature” or not.

We really didn’t get to see Mccains extensive medical record at all. He gave a few people three hours to look over mutliple medical papers. Not enoughtime to really get to anything they needed to know were his health sstood. Obama released a one page report because he has had little health problems,no major surgery or no reason to go often like mccain. But we know absolutely nothing at all about palin, or her health or really her views on anything! She’s a unknown still to most of us. Well, I think she might be hiding something that’s been in plain view all along to anyone who does the basic math–she, like Bristol, was pregnant with her first child when she eloped with Todd. When the medical records reveal that Track was not premature, but in fact probably late, like many first babies are, this will settle this question once and for all. No biggie in my book, but I think if it gets highlighted, it will cause another minor stir that will affect her “brand” among the conservative base. The reason she hasn’t yet released her medical records is that there is probably no record of a pregnancy. Everything points to that. I have 2 children. I was 5 months pregnant with my first child before anyone noticed. I regained my prepregnancy figure within a year. Three years later with my second child however, I began to show by 3 months. I just do not think it possible that a slim woman, who does not usually wear baggy clothes, and who has had already 4 children would be able to hide a pregnancy until the 8th month. Nor do I believe that someone who knew she was carrying a down’s syndrome child, and who was 44 years old would risk getting on a plane and travel for 8 hours after her waters broke. She would check into the nearest medical facility she could. After all she wasn’t in some back water country, was she? Finally, I see no motherly bond between her and that child. I do think it possible though that a plump teenager could hide a pregnancy for the full term. Wanna bet that Bristol doesn’t give birth any time in the near future?

It is hard for me to believe that these are ordinary people who are so interested in stopping the release of information that all candidates for the presidency and vice-presidency have given for five decades. In a comment above, you said Obama’s father’s race is listed as “African American” on his birth certificate and suggest it must be forged since an early 60′s certificate would have said “negro”, etc. IN FACT, the certificate lists his father’s race as “African”, which is completely reasonable and accurate since he was Kenyan. This is for anyone who still cares about the facts and not the smears.

There will be no mention of pregnancy in the records, period..unless they are doctored, thus, you won’t be seeing any records in the next week.

Face it, everything was handed to John McCain because of his family connections. He got into the academy because of his father and grandfather. As far as I see it, there are only a few legitimate reasons she would not want to release her medical records:
1. Trig is not hers, but Bristol’s. Which would explain how Sarah still wasn’t showing after 7 months and why Bristol was pulled out of school (they said mono) for what was the last 4-5 months of Trig’s term. It would also explain why there is no official record of where and when Trig was born and why Sarah’s body did not experience the typical change a pregnant and post-pregnancy woman goes through, but Bristol did. I don’t think this is just a possibility, but a likelihood.
2. Sometime in her past she had an abortion. This would destroy her credibility as a pro-lifer. 6 colleges in 5 years has to be explained somehow and an unwanted pregnancy causing 1 of those times wouldn’t be out of the realm of possibility. Maybe that experience is what forged her extreme position on abortion. Forcing a 12 year old that was raped by her dad to have the kid is nothing short of cruel and unusual punishment. She wouldn’t even allow an abortion to save the mother’s life. Yeah, just make the rest of her kids motherless and break the husband’s heart. That’s what is best for the family. Sure. That’s as extreme as it gets. And Palin rails against government intrusion in our lives? That’s intrusion of privacy and one’s life in the worst order!
3. She’s had plastic surgery. Anyone with eyes can see that her facial structure has changed drastically from pictures of her 15 years ago. She’s already got a tanning bed in the mansion and is an obvious narcissist, so it wouldn’t surprise me one bit.
4. She’s on medication for either depression or anti-anxiety.
Other than these possibilities, I can’t think of a single other reason why they wouldn’t release her medical records and it’s less than a week to the election.

Just because somebody has to obtain a new copy of an existing birth record doesn’t mean that it has to use the same racially-charged terminology as the original, much less does it mean that every state was as racist as another in its function. Can her doctor not take Obama’s one-page statement, make the relevant changes, sign it and then hand it over. Sarah Palin can then check it, possibly get the McCain team to check it and then release it? If there is a problem with this procedure, I suspect it is related to the doctor’s signature.

Is there a reason why the media is not pursuing Obama’s medial and college records and his birth certificate? Maybe the media has already decided and appointed our next president. I think that Palin should be able to release a summary, just as Obama did. I am thinking the reason she hasn’t is because she had a full or partial hysterectomy prior to the supposed birth of Trig. If she had, it would probably be for cancer or at least high grade dysplacia. No doctor would write a summary w/o including cancer treatment. So Palin can’t release anything at all.
