VA GOP Chief Compares Obama to Osama
Time’s Karen Tumulty spent some time in Virginia this week covering the ground game in that battleground state, and happened upon an interesting little scene.
In McCain’s Gainesville, Va., office, Virginia Republican Party Chairman Jeff Frederick, standing on a folding chair, spoke to 30 campaign volunteers who were about to go canvassing door to door.
He gave them "talking points," Tumulty writes, "for instance, the connection between Barack Obama and Osama bin Laden."
Said Frederick: "Both have friends that bombed the Pentagon," in a reference to Obama acquaintance William Ayers. "That is scary."
Added a woman: "And he won’t salute the flag."
(Not true.)
Offered a male volunteer: "We don’t even know where Senator Obama was really born."
(Also not true.)

I have been comparing Obama to Osama ever since I learned of Obama’s background—I refer to Indonesia, his campaign receiving millions of dollars from who???–not the average American who is ‘for’ Obama. They are the kiddies, the blacks and the bleeding-heart whites who ‘want to be a part of giving a black man a chance.’ Obama’s tenacles reach far. Far beyond Rezko who is laundering the money from al quada being used to push Obama into the White House. Obama is basically a poor man–he wasn’t born to money, he never earned that much as a community organizer or a senator. So ask youself, WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM?

It isn’t even correct to compare Ayers to bin Laden, let alone Obama. But desperate times call for desperate slanders, I guess.

“They both have friends who bombed the Pentagon.” Also not true. By not pointing that out, you imply that it is true.
The reference, evidently, is to Ayers who a) did not bomb the Pentagon and b) is an acquaintance, not a friend, of Barack Obama.

Jeff Frederick should get off his chair and out of Republican politics for this kind of BS. Just voted by businesses (again) as the least effective member of the Virginia state legislature, he should not be in any capacity to influence others with insinuations and lies. And, as a Mason, he should remember their teachings about spreading falsehoods. I think he might be rehabilitated while still young, if he wants to be an example to his wife and young daughter. Get a life, Jeff, GOP politics will ruin you.

CNN Fact Check: Is Obama ‘palling around with terrorists’?
The Statement: Republican vice presidential candidate Gov. Sarah Palin said Saturday, October 4, that Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama is “someone who sees America, it seems, as being so imperfect that he’s palling around with terrorists who would target their own country.”
Verdict: False. There is no indication that Ayers and Obama are now “palling around,” or that they have had an ongoing relationship in the past three years. Also, there is nothing to suggest that Ayers is now involved in terrorist activity or that other Obama associates are.
If you believe the CNN report above is true JPT then your missing one Not True!

Where is the ACORNgate story, since there are 15 states under invistagation by the F.B.I.?
I guess it’s O.K. for Obama to say “argue with them and get in their face”, as he said in Nevada on Sept 18.
What a double standard this election season has been, like I’ve seen no other in my 50 years.

Barack Obama gave Community Services Inc $800 000 for GOTV efforts durring the primary.
Community Services Inc is NOT ACORN!
Also on ACORN:
ACORN spokesman Brian Kettenring said recent charges against the organization are just partisan attacks intended to undermine the group’s voter registration efforts. “The current strategy seems to be, from the right, to create, to manufacture a so-called crisis of voter fraud . . . and then to solve that crisis through measures that are about constricting the electorate, narrowing the electorate, keeping people from being able to vote,”

What is going on? Are we making lists of historical happenings of candidates? If so, we could write a list for each one. Let’s see, how about the Keating Five? How about the first wife of John McCain? How about choosing a vice-presidential candidate with extremely questionable ethics. We could “do” each one. How about we get past that and look at future policies and possible decisions?

Desperate times call for desperate measures.
The latest poll for VA is Obama +8
Bush 2004 won VA +8
The reason why John McCain’s and the GOP strategy to paint Obama as a terrorist and unfit for presidency is not working is b/c of the debates.
These debates have done what the debates did for Reagan in 1980. A leader fit to lead.
I hope McCain brings up Ayers on Wednesday night and get angry… this goes to the core of the Obama message. McCain = Erratic

Four things that McCain must do to win:
1) Talk about economics – make the undeniable connection between predatory lending, predatory market speculation, and predatory Washington lobbyists
2) Pledge to engage in a new Energy surge, which includes a comprehensive strategy on all forms of energy, including conservation, drilling, nuclear, wind, green electric, natural gas, and biofuels.
3) Promise to have a ZERO tolerance policy of pork barrel spending
4) Highlight his vote on Fannie Mae reform, and Obama’s denial of that vote.
5) Promise to turn Iraq security over to the Iraqis as quickly as conditions warrant.
6) Talk bipartisanship at every turn.
7) Contrast his record with Obama’s rhetoric: I’ll put my record up against his rhetoric any day of the week.
If he succeeds at communicating these seven points successfully he will win.

Vanessa,
The “erratic” ploy is an ageist hate message and the Americans are seeing through it. I’m surprised you of all people would be condoning ageism, since it is closely related to other forms of hate messaging like racism. But then again, if Obama surrogates like John Lewis are playing the race card today, then the rest of the campaign can slyly slip in age-based hate messaging thinking you are going to get away with it.

I am not going to dig deep into the cesspool of comments from McCain supporters on here.
I would, however, like to review the claims made by these people.
1. Obama is a radical black Christian and a radical Muslim and Atheist (because a Communist is by definition an atheist).
2. His candidacy is a conspiracy by Right-Wing Republican Walter Annenberg (who was a friend of Ronald Regan’s), Islamic extremists, and Communists.
3. It is covered up by all media outlets except perhaps Fox News, The National Review, and the Washington Times.
4. Obama is a stupid man who got into Ivy League schools because of affirmative action, and a completely ineffective person who never accomplished anything in the Senate or elsewhere, AND at the same time, he is the master of a worlwide conspiracy, and he is completely and solely responsible for the present financial collapse.
Okay, so we will leave aside the lack of any real evidence to support this, and ask those putting these theories forth to answer the following:
1. Which is it, is he Christian, Muslim or Atheist?
2. Why would a Right-Wing Republican conspire with Islamic extremists and Communists and what sinister common goal are they pursuing?
3. Why would the media go along with this conspiracy?
4. How can Obama be at one and the same time stupid and inept and all powerful?
Please, again, respond, I would love an answer.

Your prescription for McCain makes sense, but it’s too little, too late.
Too few voters remain undecided for this change in strategy to make a difference. And McCain has irrevocably turned off too many independents — like me — with his pick of Sarah Palin and descent into race-baiting.
If McCain were the McCain of 2000 — a genuine maverick and an honorable man — and had chosen an intelligent and competent running mate — he would be winning this race.

McCain’s problem is his tax plan, health care plan, and the (R) right in front of his name.
Unless McCain flip-flops on taxes once again and adopt the Obama healthcare plan… he stands no chance.
Obama now has an average of a 9 point lead nationally. Leading in EVERY swing state. McCain has 3 weeks to change the direction of this election and if he decides all he wants to talk about is Ayers… This is election would be pretty much done.
I said it the day she was chosen and I’ll say it again. McCain should have chosen Romney. Sarah Palin has become a drag and a net negative for the ticket. No one besides the conservative base believes she has executive experience.

Did William Ayers Find a New Cause After He Resurfaced?
I am sure All of America knows who Unrepentant Terrorist William Ayers is by now and his intimate connections to Barack Obama, and that Ayers made it possible through his Chicago connections that Barack Obama became the first Chairman of the Chicago Annenberg Challenge or CRC-Something that is under serious investigation now as to what was done with Millions in grant money. Much of it to groups who had No Business getting a cent of it!
But how many are aware of the Wood Foundation where both Ayers and Obama sat as board members? Huge amounts of money from the Wood Foundation was funneled to PLO operatives via Rashid Khalidi, the current Professor of Arab Studies at Columbia University, and director of the Middle East Institute of Columbia University and director of the Middle East Institute of Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs, and his wife Mona, who is a co-founder of The Arab American Action Network, which was founded in 1995.
The AAAN is a Chicago community-based organization that states it’s objective is to only strengthen the Arab immigrant and Arab American community, primarily in the Chicago area. But there is far more to it than is stated according to many sources that have first hand knowledge of this “Network.”
Khalidi is the man who kicked off a Fundraiser for Obama in 2000. Yet another kick off for Obama and Ayers in the mix..just another guy in “the neighborhood” of course..and the neighborhood being the Columbia University-Chicago- connection, where Ayers had attended college after resurfacing from his criminal past. Obama had attended Columbia as well-and ergo the connection.
Khalidi is a man who has stated that he justified Palestinian terrorism as contributing to “political enlightenment”. He is also the man that endorsed Ayers book “Fugitive Days” along with Obama (and Edward Said, the late PLO activist and also a professor at Columbia), which he wrote after 9/11. Ayers stated in the book that he did not feel his Terrorist group did enough. So what does this have to do with William Ayers finding a “New Cause”? Well, let’s examine that.
Ayers no longer had the Weather Underground, but he surely had what was still inside of him, along with his wife Dohrn, who had once been on the FBI’S 10 Most Wanted List. A deep hatred for America and another avenue or cause to attach themselves to, in order for them to manifest this tremendous Hatred towards America.
How else can one explain that Ayers two sons are named “Zhad” and the other “Malik”? And if one visits Ayers website http://billayers.org/ one will find an Arab name which is “Abu Zayd’ Right Smack in the Center! The translation means “Father of Zahd” (Zahd in Arabic means King). It has also been stated by more than a few that Ayers brought up his two sons as Muslims.
Whether this is true or not isn’t the point however, as Professor Said was a Christian. The point is that both Said and Khalidi, a Muslim, displayed an enormous amount of Hatred for Israel and the Israeli people.
Khalidi is still a professor at Columbia and his wife Mona is still active with the The Arab American Action Network. Perhaps some new questions need to be asked. Not only about past terrorism, but support for terrorists now.
One thing is clear-Ayers is not “washed up” as John McCain suggested a few days ago-Not by a longshot-and although Senator McCain is a Gentleman, there comes a point where a dangerous-and I mean Dangerous man like Barack Obama Must be exposed for who he Truly is and his continued relationship with these two men-and Many More like them-despite his protestations to the contrary!

Make no mistake. This is the civil war all over again, with confederate racists intending once again to hijack America.
Of course they are going around making up things like Obama’s a muslim, because they care more about resurrecting the Confederate flag than doing what’s right for America.
We’ve all seen the colossal destruction done to America by Bush. If we elect McCain, the destruction will be complete. That is what the confederates want.
This is war, and any and all measures must be taken to prevent Conferedate racists like Jeff Frederick, John McCain, and Sarah Palin from destroying America.

The only way McCain can win at this point is to do a huge mea culpa, fire his entire campaign staff, replace Palin with someone who’s qualified, denounce the Rovian tactics his campaign has used, and run only positive ads for the next 3 weeks.
But that would mean admitting he went way off course, that ambition came before honor, and for that he would still lose.

OK, so a reporter from ABC News has written up on this. Is that as far as it will go? Will the rest of MSM cover it? Will Cable News such as CNN or lMSNBC cover it. We don’t expect FOX to cover it, so why ask?
Even more important, will John McCain condemn it? Don’t hold your breath.
This is filth and disgusting comments by the head of a State Republican Party. This person should be condemned, publicly, for spreading viscious lies and for his biased and bigoted comments.
However, since Palin joined this campaign, it is now expected from the entire GOP. They have nothing of import that they can stand on in their losing effort.

It is not ageist to call McCain’s behavior erratic. His performance leading up to the Wall street bailout would be equally erratic — and equally disturbing — if he were a young or middle-aged man.
It also isn’t ageist to consider the odds that McCain — a 72-year-old cancer survivor — might die in office, particularly when his running mate is unqualified.

Dear AUSSI, MARTIN LUTHER KING DISAGREED WITH MILITANT IDEOLOGY (BOTH BLACK AND WHITE). TOO MANY OF OBAMA’s PALS PROPAGATE HATE AGAINST AMERICA, WHITES and JEWS.
I don’t know what is in Obama’s heart, all I know is that “when a character of a person is in question, look at his friends”. Obama’s supporters closed their eyes and ears on this fact, when you open it, it will be too late. Lack of experience, character and judgment is why I strongly believe Obama is not fit to lead this nation. I believe that the reason Obama lives on the same street as characters like Ayers and Farakkan is because he found his comfort zone.

McCain had ties to a far right fascist group that worked to overthrow democratically elected governments.
He chose a Vice President who is married to a secessionist and attended meetings of that secessionist group, which was founded by a man who many times expressed hatred of America.
Sarah Palin attends a church that preaches that Christians should overthrow democracy in American and replace it with a Christian theocracy.
She sat silently in the audience while someone said (also in a church) that Jews who are victims of violence are being punished by God for being Jewish.
She also stands silently by when people call for Obama to be assasinated.
So what, again, was your point?

You could know a little more about what is in Obama’s heart if you listened to the guy. He has repeatedly comdemned militancy and spoken for personal responsibilty. He has never said anything racist or anti-American. The constant attempts at character assassination sound sillier than ever to voters as the get to know the man more.

Beto, as an independent who once admired and supported John McCain, I wish I could agree with you.
The point is that it is McCain who chose for his campaign the same scum that smeared him so shamefully in the 2000 campaign.
If his own filthy campaigning proves effective, he’ll reward, not fire, people employing the Obama-Osama tactic.

JB,
I have lots of those questions for these rabid right-wingers. They NEVER answer them.
The Walter Annenberg question is only one.
My other questions:
Which is Obama, Muslim, radical Black Christian or Communist (atheist), because they claim he is all 3.
Why is it that the media would be participating in a conspiracy against America organized by Al Qaeda and radical leftists and funded by Republican Walter Annenberg?
If there is a conspiracy between Right-Wing Republicans like Annenberg (and we can add Christopher Buckley to it I guess) and Al Qaeda and Communists, as these McCainiacs seem to believe, what is their common goal?
How did Barack Obama’s 18 year old mother know in advance that her son would run for President, which would be the reason she would try to have him born in Kenya and then cover that fact up?
Why would Walter Annenberg be forging Barack Obama’s birth certificate?
If anyone wants to answer these questions, please do. I have been waiting a long time.
If you answer them, I have some more for you.

The latest BS is trying to link Michelle with Ayers wife based on ‘speculations’, are you kidding me.
It’s a trick that has been played to much by the NeoCon thugs, slinging mud to see what sticks..

I am sure there must be somebody in McCain’s past that I do not approve off (thought I can not think of one who is as militant as MANY of Obama’s pals and spiritual advisers). MILITANCY (BOTH WHITE AND BLACK) HAS NO PLACE IN THE WHITE HOUSE.
OBAMA HAS NOT EXPERIENCE, NO CHARACTER and a POOR JUDGMENT. THIS IS ENOUGH FOR ME. AFTER VOTING ON THE DEMOCRATIC TICKET FOR 2 DECADES, I WILL VOTE AGAINST THE IDEOLOGY OF FAR FAR LEFT.

888,
Liberals do love facts. So, for a start, the radical form of Islam practiced by Al Qaeda is wahabism, not wahibism.
We also love questions.
I have posted a series of them several times. Please answer them.
For a start, please explain what Conservative Republican Walter Annenberg’s connection is to radical Islam, because according to all the right-wing conspiracy theories, he is the conspiracy’s mastermind and bankroller.
And since we do guilt by association, I guess Ronald Reagan was part of this conspiracy somewhere, because he was Annenberg’s close friend.
So what was his role.
And actually, since Cheney served with Reagan, he must be part of it too.
And since Bush and the neocons are involved with Cheney, they must be part of it too.
Egad! I figured it out, the whole thing is a BIG smokescreen by the neocons to keep McCain from being elected (because they always hated him anyway) and to put Obama in the White House because its really HIM they want.
Is that right?

The conventional wisdom is that the news media have turned on John McCain. But the truth is that when John McCain says “jump,” the media still ask, “How high?”
Whenever McCain unleashes a new attack on Barack Obama, the media grant it wall-to-wall coverage. And that certainly includes you, Jake, as I think you will admit yourself.
Polls show that by overwhelming margins, voters are most concerned with the economy. But McCain has made clear he’d rather focus on the candidates’ personal affiliations.
Incredibly, the media have sided with McCain – and, outrageously, they’ve done McCain the favor of paying attention only to Obama’s controversial affiliations. At the same time, the media are virtually ignoring McCain’s ties to Gordon Liddy, Charles Keating, and many others.

888 – you missed the arrow… Osama Bin Laden actually has ties to the Bush family…… yeah, that’s right. Bushy flew them all out of the country on 9/11 for protection. That is why we never seriously tried to get Osama. Bush sold our country out from underneath us, now Barrack will come in and try to get it back, but we all have to stand behind him to help!
With Barrack leading us, we can turn this around and bring back our legacy. With John Mccain we will unfortunately follow this same destructive path. John Mccain would like to go in a different direction, but he has proven to me that he doesn’t have the backing of his party. He has sold his soul for ambition.

But, here’s another question for you,
IF there is a problem with Obama’s eligibility to be President, why would the Democratically controlled Senate pass a special resolution declaring McCain to be eligible (because he’s foreign born) and NOT do the same for Obama?

The first poster asked, “WHERE IS THE MONEY COMING FROM?” The answer is simple: from Obama’s two best-selling books. Before that he was living in a small condo with his family, trying to pay down his and Michelle’s student loans.
The books are quite good, by the way. Anyone who says we “don’t know who Obama really is” should read them. They’ll find an impressive grasp of American history and a surprisingly moderate approach to the issues of the day.

AND NOW, as to answers, for any intelligent person who wants some answers
Google Obama + San Francisco Chronicle Editorial Board
You should find an interview Obama gave to them IN JANUARY (way before this mess) where he predicts the current economic crisis and gives a very thorough and thoughtful explanation of what would lead to it and what needed to be done about it.
He says many other interesting things.
I would love to see McCain (much less Sarah Palin) give that detailed and coherent a talk on the economy.
I would post the link, but ABC deletes any posts with links.
WARNING it is not for the feeble minded (well too bad, because they are the ones who need it) because its 55 minutes long so it requires sustained attention and the ability to reason…

West Coast Messenger States :Four things that McCain must do to win:
1) Talk about economics – make the undeniable connection between predatory lending, predatory market speculation, and predatory Washington lobbyists
(Problem: McCain can not defend the 7 uber lobbyist heading his campaign and in his inner circle; McCain has been a long-time champion of de-regulation with his most influential economic advisor, Phil Gramm – that’s another story)
2) Pledge to engage in a new Energy surge, which includes a comprehensive strategy on all forms of energy, including conservation, drilling, nuclear, wind, green electric, natural gas, and biofuels.
(Problem: McCain has voted over 50 times AGAINST clean energy. His votes are not where his mouth is)
3) Promise to have a ZERO tolerance policy of pork barrel spending
(Problem: Senator McCain continues to vote for pork barrel spending . He has offered no proof a President McCain would be different. Contrary to what McCain has said, he did secure 10 million dollars for the University of Arizona and 14.3 Million for Lukes AFB in Arizona via Earmarks.)
4) Highlight his vote on Fannie Mae reform, and Obama’s denial of that vote.
(Problem: Mark Buse, Rick Davis and his own voting record)
5) Promise to turn Iraq security over to the Iraqis as quickly as conditions warrant.
(Problem: McCain sees no end to our time there. Bush has a better plan now than McCain does.)
6) Talk bipartisanship at every turn.
(Problem: You can’t talk “bi-partisan” while being a bull in a china cabinet. Members of his own party are distancing themselves from McCain.)
7) Contrast his record with Obama’s rhetoric: I’ll put my record up against his rhetoric any day of the week.
(Problem: McCain has been horrifically inconsistent. His “rhetoric” and lack of vision is one of the main reasons his poll numbers are so low.)

Dee Dee, your questions are too hard….
here is an easy one..
Why would any sane person still support McCain after the boneheaded mistakes he has made since he selected Palin as VP?????
There is no answer to my question I realize that the only people left are the 19% of the brain dead people in this country who still think Bush did a good job and the rest are closet racists, homophobes and evangelical Christians who have forgotten what it means to be a Christian.

Dear Chipo1965, I dislike both far right and far left. I consider myself a centrist. I am fiscally conservative, socially liberal, I believe that the only way a country can negotiate anything in the world is from the position of strength. I also know that CHARACTER of a MAN matters, Experience is Essential, Judgment will be decisive when it comes to the presidency of the greatest country on earth.
OBAMA = Rev. WRITE + AYER + ACORN + REZCO + FARAKKAN + …………….
When Obama supporters can’t argue with the facts above, they call McCain supporters stupid, racist, etc. Call them whatever you want, but the reason I will continue to blog is BECAUSE I WANT TO TELL MY CHILDREN THAT AT LEAST I TRIED TO PREVENT AMERICA FROM MAKING THIS GRAVE MISTAKE.

Posted by: LostDemocracy | October 12, 2008, 5:37 pm 5:37 pm
Okay Chipo,
You got me. I can’t answer that one.
Well, I can maybe answer it anecdotally.
My mother in law, who is 70, and who is from Oklahoma, and who is a Democrat, has unequivocally refused in the past to vote for Obama no matter what because “there is something about him I don’t trust.”
Now, she uses a word in her normal vocabulary that I would never use, which reveals to me what that “something” is that she does not trust.
Of course, if I spell that out in plain English, the McCainiacs get all insensed.
But there’s an explanation for you.
On the other hand, she might be something I can’t say here, but she IS sane, so after her stock accounts tanked, EVEN SHE said she was voting for Obama.
So, we are back to your unanswerable question.

For those of you saying that Obama is muslim, That has been cleared by FactCheck as nothing more than an attempt to slime him.
FactCheck staff, have themselves, held, touched, examined and photographed the original.
You can look it up, if you dare find out information from an unbiased, non-liberal, non-MSM source. If you would simply open your eyes and actually look for facts and not rhetoric, you might actually learn something.
Don’t know what FactCheck is? This is from their website. Remember Annenberg? The close friend of Reagan and an Ambassador appointed by him? I wouldn’t call this foundation liberal by any stretch of the imagination. Please note where they get their funding.
“We are a nonpartisan, nonprofit “consumer advocate” for voters that aims to reduce the level of deception and confusion in U.S. politics. We monitor the factual accuracy of what is said by major U.S. political players in the form of TV ads, debates, speeches, interviews and news releases. Our goal is to apply the best practices of both journalism and scholarship, and to increase public knowledge and understanding.
The Annenberg Political Fact Check is a project of the Annenberg Public Policy Center of the University of Pennsylvania. The APPC was established by publisher and philanthropist Walter Annenberg in 1994 to create a community of scholars within the University of Pennsylvania that would address public policy issues at the local, state and federal levels.
The APPC accepts NO funding from business corporations, labor unions, political parties, lobbying organizations or individuals. It is funded primarily by the Annenberg Foundation.”

THE ANGRY McCAIN/PALIN MOBS and their chants of HATE are just the final gasp of a failed campaign…
The Republicans are lashing out in the most ERRATIC way against Obama now. In a last DESPERATE and PATHETIC try to maintain their evil hold over the country…
This effort in a MAJOR way is being controlled and funded by the rich and the large corporations, in an effort to hold on to their money and power…
The SAD thing is they are using the rednecks, Klan members and other “lower information” parts of the Republican base to further their movement…
In fact just like the Republicans that post here!
Unfortunately, it isn’t going to work this time and finally TRUTH, GOOD an the real AMERICAN WAY is winning in a LANDSLIDE FOR OBAMA!!!!!!

Democratic talking point: McCain has a “friend” whose husband belongs to an organization whose founder said: “the fires of hell are frozen glaciers compared to my hatred for the American government”.
OMG, that makes McCain a SECESSIONIST!! (And just where was HIS flag pin in the last debate?) Sounds almost as stupid as some of the Republican spewage, and yet they keep repeating it over and over like they are teaching dogs to roll over.

The money is coming from the little people in this country like me who have given the Obama/Biden ticket $25 to $55 donations when they/I can to defeat the Republican ticket that for the last 8 years that have torn this country to shreds. I am a man of modest means that owns a small cleaning business and will continue to support the ticket for the party that will rebuild this country, not tear it apart.

LostDemocracy,
Voting for McCain is voting for Bush. Truly, what’s the difference between John S. McCain and George W. Bush?
What’s the difference? I mean in terms of taxes, healthcare, education, Social Security, Foreign Policy.
McCain plans on continuing the Bush tax cuts. Under the McCain/Bush tax cuts the wealthy saves $700,000+, while the middle class saves $1,000+. The gap between rich and poor is at it’s greatest height.
Heathcare. McCain says he want to give every American a $5,000 tax credit. Basically giving every American $5,000 addition unto their annual income. News Flash McCain. At average, Healthcare is $12,000 for the average family. Also McCain plans to TAX the $5,000. Unbelieveable.
Education. McCain refused to invest in education. Foreign nations are out teaching us. If foreign nation can out teach us tiday then can out smart us tomorrow.
Social Security. McCain wants to privatize Social Security. Imagine now if your SS was invested into the Stock Market.
Foreign Policy. McCain wants to stay in Iraq while fighting an uphill battle in Afganistan. Start a cold war with Russia (McCain’s past rhetoric) and attack Iran.
We’ve seen this weekend what “talks” can do. Look at North Korea. Could Obama possible be right on Iran?

And Walter Annenberg (again) is a conservative Republican and a close friend of Ronald Reagan’s.
So is this entire thing a “vast right-wing conspiracy?”

Easy game to play. Example: Photo of McCain hugging Bush, campaigning for Bush, supporting Bush policies > Bush family connections to bin Laden family, George H.W. Bush meeting with Osama’s brother on 9/11 at Carlyle Group, etc > McCain 2 degrees from Osama.
See how easy that is?
There is a proverb about people who live in glass houses. Back slowly away from that stone, Mr. Frederick.

Nan,
Obama has shown his birth certificate and the McCain camp knows it. That’s why they, themselves, never bring this stupid non-issue up, lest they appear as crazy as the crack-pots who believe it.
Instead, they just let the fringe right-wing bloggers repeat it.

Dede well then I hope he brings it to the debate and just whips it out and shows everyone, that would be great! It would sure put my mind at rest. One less thing to worry about.

Lisa,
I go back to my original question to you.
Philip Berg sued the Bush administration because he claimed they orchestrated 9 11. They never showed any “evidence” to dispute that claim, and they had the lawsuit dismissed (as Obama is going to do with this nuisance lawsuit).
Does that, then, mean, that Berg’s claims about the Bush administration are true.
Please, answer my question.
And if not, then why is that lawsuit of his false, and the current one true?
I would love to see your answer.
My answer to your question is to repeat a Republican talking point about tort reform which is that anyone in this country can sue anyone for any reason. There does not have to be any factual basis to the claim.

Right, so in the tank for Obama, that’s why they support McCain’s assertion that he has a legal right to run for POTUS as well.
Nevermind that there are people challenging McCain’s “natural born” citizen status, who are just as pathetic as those challenging Obama’s.
Both challenges to the right of either candidate to run for office are lies and non-issues.
Posted by: This is SO Old | October 12, 2008, 6:23 pm 6:23 pm
Nan,
If McCain will bring his and his oath of citizenship, I am sure Obama will be happy to bring his.
I will reiterate, the DEMOCRATIC Senate passed a special resolution declaring McCain to be eligible to run for President.
If there were issues with Obama’s citizenship (which there are not) why would a DEMOCRATIC Senate have cleared the way for a Republican, and not a Democrat (which they could easily have done if there were a problem because it would be the same problem faced by McCain)?
Posted by: Dee Dee Lynn | October 12, 2008, 6:24 pm 6:24 pm
Dear Vanessa,
I am tiered of the mantra that McCain is another G.W. Bush, because McCain voted with him 90% of the time. Obama voted along the party line 97% of the time. By the same argument, I can say that Obama is a second term of Jimmy Carter (18% mortgage rates, high unemployment, American hostages in Iran for over 400 days, etc, etc, etc).
I guess I am old enough to remember McCain fighting Bush on many occasions. McCain is a conservative and therefore does agree with Bush on many fundamental issues. I believe McCain is much more to the center than Obama is. I will not vote for Obama because of Rev. Right, Ayers, ACORN, REZCO, FARAKKAN, etc. I do respect Joe Biden and wish the ticket was reversed, maybe then I would of been able to ignore all the Militant friends (both Black and White) Obama has surrounded himself with before this election.
FOR ME THIS ELECTION IS ABOUT WHAT BOTH MAN SAID AND DID PRIOR TO THE ELECTION SEASON. THAT IS WHY I GIVE MY VOTE TO MCCAIN/PALIN.

Do you all have any idea what Fannie and Freddie and Barney and Frankie have done too the world economy? Small contries may go broke and their people will be homeless and starving, all because of their greed, and all because the race card was used one too many times. Enough allready! The Race card has cost the world trillions and may cost some too lose EVERYTHING. Was it worth it?

This is a problem with the government reigning in people on the public payroll who think they won’t get caught spewing partisan hatred just to keep republicans in power. I heard a FEMA security personnel trainer speaking to a group of about 50 or more people warning against being violently attacked by ACORN. No reason for the attacks was given, but he selectively looked at the black people in the room and reiterated his warning against ACORN. Yes, the non-blacks turned to see who was peering so fiercely at!
I found his comments disgusting, partisan and racially-based. I wondered how many other classes he’s presented this fact to while I was paying his frickin’ salary.
We have to keep silent, though. On his recommendation, we can’t work! I hope the news orgs attend a training or two we all sponsor with tax-payer dollars to get to hear this bias racist people on the government payroll spew daily.
The guy reminded me of the Palin-camp fighting for republican power by inciting fear and division. I can’t wait to vote people like him OUT!

Jeff Frederick should be fired for his inappropriate, false, incendiary, racist, hate-filled instructions to his campaign workers. He’s not doing his candidate or party any favors, only reinforcing the growing belief that Conservatives like him are rabid ignoramuses who fuel the fire of racism in this country.

LostDemocracy,
I am old enough to remember (as Obama said) that John McCain never bucked the Republican Party on any “kitchen table” issues.
I am also old enough to remember that on all the issues where he did originally buck Bush, he has since backed down (including on torture, which I find particularly disgusting given his own experience).
I am also old enough to remember (as is Christopher Buckley apparently) that the John McCain of 2008 bears no resemblance to the John McCain of 2000, and that he hired the same team of sleaze masters to run his campaign that ran W.’s sleazy campaign against him in 2000, you know, the ones who said he gave up his fellow Americans under torture, that he was crazy and mentally unbalanced, and that he had an illegitimate half-black child.
Logically speaking, if those claims that these same people are making against Obama, the things they said about McCain must also be true.
Are they? If not, why were the things they said then false, but the things they say now true?

Can somebody please explain to me (the dumb, uneducated pro-McCain supporter) of why Obama did not speak up against anti-American, anti-White, anti-Semitic rhetoric for 20+ yrs. Instead he considered Rev. Write his spiritual adviser, until he was forced to turn his back on him for the benefit of his political career. He is very good at stepping over dead bodies to get to the top. Forgive my ignorance, but I think that speaks to character.
Posted by: LostDemocracy | October 12, 2008, 7:13 pm 7:13 pm
LostDemocracy,
There is no evidence there was such rhetoric for 20+ years. You have drawn this conclusion based on 2 sermons.
The Reverand Martin Marty, one of the foremost (white) theologians in the country knows Jeremiah Wright very well. He has said on many occassions that the media (and Republican) portrayal of Wright is “a caricature” and that claims like your are flatly untrue.
BUT if you want to talk churches, please explain to me why Sarah Palin has not denounced the views of her church, among which are the belief that Christians should overthrow Democracy in America and replace it with a Christian theocracy.

I find it more and more disheartening that reporters will not do more to expose mccain and palin’s campaign. It’s reminiscent of 2000 and 2004 when the Gore and Kerry, respectively, was criticized constantly in the press, while bush twisted the truth but was allowed a free ride. I don’t understand why this is happenning, but it is slightly heartening to see that there are fewer posts here than in the past.
Posted by: 2000 all over again | October 12, 2008, 7:43 pm 7:43 pm
Dear Dee Dee Lynn,
So what you are saying is that because we only have a film from 2 (though I am pretty sure it is more) events than it is somehow o.k. I have no doubt that Rev. Right has done some good things for the black community. That still does not excuse him. Both Stalin and Hitler did some great things for their people. I am not comparing Rev. Write or Obama to them, just making a point that you can have a great message to one group of people and than burn others alive. Militant Ideology and hate still has no place in the White House. As for Palin her association with the church you are describing is not as deep as Obama’s association with Rev. Write. That is not my words but Obama’s. Irrespective of one man or one church, it is not just Rev. Write (though in my book, he is the most damaging case), but Ayers, Farakkan, ACORN, the list goes on and on.
McCain is not my first choice or second, I disagree with Palin on her harsh stance on abortion, but Obama’s past pals, his inexperience and his judgment has taken him out of contention for my vote. Too bad, I love Joe Biden and Hilary and would of gladly given them my vote.
I agree with Joe Lieberman, the democratic party of the far far left fraction of Barack Obama and Nancy Pelosi, is not what the democratic party used to be when Bill Clinton was my president.
Or maybe I just subscribe to an opinion that “if you are not a liberal before you turn 30 years old you have no heart, if you are not a conservative after you are 30, you have no brain”
I guess in this election, I rather be missing a heart.

I must say I find this all hard to believe…That democrats are so so very desperate to get a dem in the white house that they will overlook all the underlying questions that Obama just sweeps under the rug…Let me give you all facts…Obama is friends with bill Ayers who is a known domestic terrorist..Was involved with Tony Rezco a convicted Felon which also helped Obama do some shady dealing to get his big fancy house in Hyde Park who just happens to be in the same neighborhood as Ayers Rezco Wright who was Obamas Pastor for 20 years who preached words of hate and louis Farrakhan who and I quote called Obama the Messiah…Have ya ever noticed that the only time Obama denounces any one is when it could hurt his political career??? Are you democrats that desperate to have control ? I am neither a Rep. Or Dem. I vote the best choice. And clearly McCain in this case is the best choice. You see if Obama can show such poor judgement in choosing his friends such as Ayers, Wright, Rezco who would he choose to be friends with if he were President??? Obama says he thought Ayers was rehabilated (sp) is he gonna think Bin Laden and the Taliban are too?? And I am sick of the democrats calling The Race Card anytime someone questions Obama there is nothing racial about asking questions and wanting REAL ANSWERS>not half truths as Obama is famous for telling. And the latest shady thing in his background is ACORN …Voter fraud…at first Obama camp said he had nothing to do with Acorn then as Media learned He was once a lawyer for Acorn Trained for Acorn and his Campaign gave them 800,000… all he does is lie it is sick and you all believe it…ask a chicago person when he was running for office there he promised lower taxes THEY GOT HIGHER TAXES .Think about it all then make your choice .I just hope you all wake up befor it is too late. I will take McCains record anyday at least when the Keating thing happened he was TRUTHFUL and by the way was cleared of any wrong doing by a Democrat.Obama is not truthful and to me that says alot….

Mayor Daley of Chicago says that Obama and Ayers are friends so what. Why didn’t Obama show americans the courtesy of an answer like that 1 1/2 years ago. No, he would rather lie to us for 1 1/2 years and incrementally change his story when his lies are exposed. Obama promised change, but delivered the same old coverup we get time and time from Washington.
I saw Obama when the national anthem was being played and he looked board and he didn’t place his hand over his heart. Everytime I hear the star spangled banner, I get a surge of emotion. I would hope that a potential future president would feel something other than boredom when the national anthem plays.

If McCane has an ounce of self-respect left, he will render a public apology to the American People – Republicans and Democrats – for the racist hate-filled dangerous divisive demagoguery of his campaign.
The McCain we see on the campaign trail is not the McCain that many once admired if not for any other reason, his service in the US Armed Forces and the years of his life he had to sacrifice as a prisoner of war in Vietnam. My Republican friends are saddened by the fact that McCain in a desperate attempt to win the presidential election at all costs, irrevocably tarnish his own reputation and legacy. I personally don’t think that there is much of reputation to tarnish – other than perhaps the carefully crafted public persona McCain has created for himself. The reality, given his ties to criminals like Gordon Liddy (of Watergate notoriety, an advocate of domestic terrorism), his cosy relationship with Cuban terrorists, and his and his wife Cindy McCain’s intimate connections with organized crime, is much uglier.
As for Sarah Pallin, David Brooks, a dyed-in-the-wool Bill Buckleyite conservative is right on the mark when he called Sarah Palin “a fatal cancer to the Republican Party”. In other words, the Republican party has a deadly case of SARAH PALINOMA.
If the Republican Party does not want to lose all those decent Republicans who are getting disgusted with McCane-Palin candidacy, it needs to denounce the McCain-Palin candidacy and focus on tough task ahead – that of rebuilding the Republican Party on the principles thatthe great Republican luminaries Abraham Lincoln stood for.

This is interesting how McCain’s campaign members are spreading hate. Another one was that crackpot woman at McCain’s Friday night rally is another one spewing hate. She actually admitted getting the ‘information’ from a library that Obama is an Arab, went to the local Kinko’s to make copies of it and mailed them to McCain supporters.
To Lexi I don’t believe you really asked that question. What proof do you require that Obama was born in the US? You believe what you want to believe, but in the end you and others like you are not only pitiful but scary.

It’s bad enough that the wingnuts who attend rallies say bs like this, but for the head of the GOP in Virginia to come up with such nonsense is unforgivable.
For the umpty umpth time: Obama is NOT responsible for the actions a person who happens to be on the Annenberg board, a board on which sit MANY Republicans, did when he was eight years old!
And if we’re talking about “guilt by association,” that would make McCain guilty too. And hey, what about G. Gordon Liddy? McCain’s his pal! And his campaign manager was being paid by a firm associated with Fannie until last month.
And Sarah Palin’s husband wanted Alaska to secede from the union, nad she’s been treated by a witch doctor.
The Republicans are hypocrites. When a party organizer comes out and deliberately spreads such hatespeech I now feel that the entire party are treasonous and un-American. I pray that people don’t fall for this kind of McCarthyism.

here is some irny for all you McPalin losers.
1. The 14th Amendment and matching policy limit citizenship to either natural born or naturalized, but not both.
2. John McCain was born in 1936 in the Canal Zone to citizen parents.
3. 8 USC 1403(a) declares naturalized citizenship in 1952 on persons born in the Canal Zone to citizen parents.
4. Therefore, 8 USC 1403(a) applies to John McCain at age 16.
5. Therefore, John McCain is a naturalized citizen.
6. By treaty, the Canal Zone was not part of the United States.
7. Therefore, John McCain was not born in the United States.
8. Therefore, John McCain is a citizen not born in the United States.
9. Therefore, John McCain is not a natural born citizen.
10. Article II of the Constitution states to be President a person must be a natural born citizen.
11. THEREFORE, John McCain is not eligible to be President of the United States under Article II of the Constitution;
he should be decertified and removed from all present and future Presidential ballots; and his past results should be disallowed,
including unbinding all of his committed delegates.

Republicanism is not a mental disorder, rather a lack of common sense. I’d rather be a nut than a mindless dumb@$$!

Wow, McCain-Palin supporters out in droves tonight!! Are you practicing your nastiness and scare tactics for Halloween? How can you McCain followers persist in spewing your false statements when they have all been debunked?? All of your crazy rantings are similiar to those of McCain and his high-heeled hyena with lipstick. Their rantings are crazy too!! McCain is NO war hero, he never did anything extraordinary while in the U.S. Navy. How long did he actually serve in Viet Nam before getting himself shot down? He claims his captors injured his arms, this is BS. He injured his arms because he did not know how to eject from his aircraft!! His arms were already broken when he was captured. He was also known as the Hanoi Songbird because he provided his captors with intelligence and information and put his comrades in great danger. McCain is NO hero, he is a lying ZERO!! NO integrity, NO honesty, and NO character!! He has lied about his service and his POW days all of his life and sadly he believes his lies!! Just recently he addressed his audience with, “My fellow PRISONERS”. The man believes he is still in the Hanoi Hotel!! Scarier–he did NOT correct himself!! McCain’s mind is deteriorating at a pretty fast pace—it is called dementia!!

Jake, honest question. How does the behaviour of four obviously idiotic hipsters in Philly earn the tag “vile” But this…individual does not. The Philly four are idots but they have no authority and arent Dems. This…person is a Rep. party chair. He would seem to have also earned the “vile” moniker.

This stuff is backfiring. McCain’s and Palin’s negatives are up. Obama’s positives are up. Swing voters don’t like this stuff any more than they like angry mobs.

Jake, I really appreciate the way you report incredulous and stupid statements and actually comment on the truthfulness of those comment.
Too often the media actually serve as the conduit of misinformation by refusing to call a lie a lie, and by hiding behind objectivity and reporting. Keep up the good work.

Even the Ayers thing was somewhat true, but now bringing in OSAMA? It’s disgusting how they’re trying to play on fears of Obama’s name and hinting at connections with terrorists.
Well, NEWSFLASH, GOP, if anyone’s been a friend of Osama, it’s been W and McCain. The terrorists would love for the US to continue the Iraq War. Al-Qaeda has received increased support from disillusioned and angry Iraqis who blame America for state their country is in. It adds to Al-Qaeda’s credibility that America is an oppressor and legitimizes the cause.
When Bush invaded Iraq, Al-Qaeda was in Afghanistan. On that day in 2003, somewhere in the mountains, Osama was laughing.

Am I the only person that loves this America we have? I fought to protect her once, or so I thought. I just don’t understand. John McCain was in the enemy’s hands for five and one-half years. He acknowledged that they broke him, just how much we don’t know. The enemy was, at the time, Vietnam, North Korea, China, Romania, Bulgaria, East Germany and the Soviet Union, plus a multitude of smaller communist countries. Mr. McCain was in their hands and was tortured by them, not for information you understand. Did they make him a MOLE? The CIA was researching and experimenting with “brain-washing” techniques at the time, so was the ENEMY, all of them. The Russians, Cubans and the Chinese routinely assisted the North Vietnamese in “questioning” the POWs that were in their hands. They used drugs in their interrogations.
I have known many X-POWs from Vietnam and I even had one as a business partner for over five years that spent 7 1/2 years as a POW. I heard the stories about “quiz time” from him, read that as “torture time”. They weren’t tortured for information, it is well known that any information is worthless 24 hours after their capture. They were tortured for “other” reasons. We (military personnel) were all trained for what to do after being taken prisoner. One thing I noticed, stories were repeated daily. Some feel “special” like McCain some don’t. All X-POWs were affected with PTSD, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Like most Vietnam Vets, PTSD and other emotional difficulties were hidden or not discussed at discharge and most never got treated for their disability. Can anyone tell me that McCain was unaffected? Cindy McCain says he wasn’t affected because he went to the Navy Academy, yea right that makes me feel better. I had Escape and Evasion at Tigerland Ft. Polk Lousianna in 1968, I learned more there than any Academy plebe ever did, just ask any other Tigerland graduate! We all know he was affected. He had Stockholm syndrome and didn’t want to leave Vietnam when he had the chance. A temper is also a good indicator, so I have been told by doctors at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Richmond. Believe me, I thank Mr. McCain for his service. After all, he wasn’t shot down only once. He lost a few airplanes I have read.
WHY ARE THE REPUBLICANS SO INTENT ON PUTTING SOMEONE LIKE McCAIN IN CHARGE? WE SHOULD NOT TRUST HIM. THE NAVY DIDN’T TRUST HIM ENOUGH TO ALLOW HIM TO FLY ANY OF THEIR AIRPLANES WHEN HE RETURNED HOME, NOT EVEN A PROP JOB. WE CAN’T AFFORD TO FOLLOW SOMEONE THAT MIGHT BE AN AGENT OF OUR ENEMIES AND ALLOW HIM TO CONTROL OUR MILITARY AND INTELLIGENCE AGENCIES AND NUKES. DON’T YOU GIVE A DAMN? HAVE YOU THOUGHT ABOUT THIS? YOU SHOULD.

This country has to wake up to this form of republican rhetoric which stems directly from the present Bush administration which has consistently lied to the citizens to gain its way and destroy the real american way of life. The Republican party will lose all unless they wake up and get rid of persons like this who will say and do anything to get their way: however misguided or wrong they may be1d Finally.,is this gentlement a
Christian?????

Firstly, I want to state to my fellow Democrats, that to blemish McCain by stating that he was perhaps brainwashed by the Vietnam/USSR while being held, is lowering yourself to what the McCain/Palin people are doing to Obama and you should be ashamed and more responsible.
Secondly, for those who state that if Obama gets in, things will worsen….well, as far as I can see it, I do not see any way, other than falling into another Great Depression, that things could get worse. We are in a war….we are laughed at, scorned by the international community, our economy is as close to disaster as you can get…unemployment is so high, double digit in certain states…gas prices….kids education funds out the windows…big corps. getting big breaks and ‘joe US’ getting none…and the list goes on. I do not know whether if Obama wins, that we will be better or worse, but it is better than remaining stagnant and at least being led by a man who is not after self interest and not trying to maintain his wealth through his job as Obama has no landed wealth….unlike the GOP leaders. Perhaps if issues were stuck to and personal crap thrown out, the choices would be easier but since the mud is getting thicker via the Virginia OP putting out the Obama=Osama ad, endorsed by McCain/Palin, has taken us to a new low, nevertheless the shouts of “Kill Him”, in reference to Obama in Wisconsin last week. I have never been to Wisconsin so that may be the norm for them, but it is so unAmerican not to mention cruel, lies, unethical, brutal and embarrasing. We are in the eyes of the world, and not in a good way…pull it together people. I am ashamed by both sides right now. Excuse bad typing but broken arm.

I am heartened that there are still thoughtful and responsible Republicans who put country and doing the right thing above the White House grab at all costs.
McCain has shown his inability to lead and make wise judgements. Dont drag the country down with this sinking ship.

John McCain has got to be kidding. He has to get a hold on this or it is going to lead to something bad. John McCain has to educate his ignorant campaign people. This is really bad. I am totsally ashamed of the way the McCain folks have steered the campaign. I am really scared of McCain-Palin.

Mr. Frederick continues, as he has for years, to embarrass himself and his “party.” Libertarians and Conservative Democrats (a.k.a. rational people with whom I have philosophical differences) should continue to identify this kind of hate-mongering fear-based fact-ignoring rhetorical nonsense as patently Republican (a.k.a. the new Bushian ideology of kill-those-unlike-me). Mr. Frederick is a delusional man that, like all members of the Rove Machine, fabricates information that scares people or rallies the hate-loving or frightened. The “genius” of the Rove Machine is rapidly falling apart PRECISELY because of this tactic. People now see through it because they’re finally waking up to the fact that now more than ever the government is lying to its people, not serving it. If I have to compare one of the presidential candidates to a terrorist, it’s the one on the right. Frederick = Bush = High Chancellor Sutler. If it smells like an autocratic fascist, talks like an autocratic fascist, and thinks like an autocratic fascist… it’s probably a Republican. Conservatives, I beg you: leave the party and form a new one. Here’s to Democrats and Libertarians in a SERIOUS election in 2016.

Maybe lets just respect each others vote. Honestly I dont think anyone of us knows everything about the candidates lively hood. Who is lying and who is being honest. Vote your gut feeling and see what happens. Personally I am voting Mcclain because thats my gut feeling and that I cant seem to get over the Musluim name. Example of the economy being the biggest problem it’s going to take lots of organization and time.

Who is Obama!
After repeated request, the Democratic Party and Obama fail to provide the following documents needed to clear the issue of Obama’s disqualification. As a result, Obama is considered disqualified by his own omission. Any attempts to provide information now will not be considered due to the extreme lapse of time and due to the possibility that further corruption would be involved to create favorable documents or destroy those less favorable.
(a) A certified copy of “vault” (original long version) birth certificate;
(b) Certified copies of all reissued and sealed birth certificates in the names Barack Hussein Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Dunham and Barry Dunham;
(c) A certified copy Certification of Citizenship;
(d) A certified copy Oath of Allegiance taken upon age of maturity;
(e) Certified copies of admission forms for Occidental College, Columbia University and Harvard Law School;
(f) Certified copies of any court orders or legal documents changing his name from Barry Soetoro.
(g) Verification of both American and Indonesian Passports under any of the aforementioned names.
By Obama hiring a team of lawyers to look for loopholes certifies without a doubt that Obama has perpetrated fraud by signing the document of certification stating he fully meets the qualification to run as the Democratic Presidential nominee when he knew he did not.
It is reasonable that these documents should be produced considering that his father is Kenyan, his adoptive father is Indonesian, and his grandmother claims to have been present at his birth in Kenya. If he is a natural born citizen then producing these documents should not be any problem.
When Obama’s mother remarried and moved to Indonesia, she had to denounce her and Obama’s U. S. citizenship (since dual citizenships were not allowed at that time) in order to obtain an Indonesian passport to enable them to stay in the country and for him to enter the Muslim school in Indonesia. When he returned to the U. S. to complete his education, his school and college records had to reflect his being a foreign exchange student .This would explain how Obama traveled to Indonesia and Pakistan during his college years without possessing a U.S. Passport. Records do not reflect Obama ever possessing a U.S. passport until he ran as Senator for Illinois.
Even if there would be any sympathy for the fact that Obama’s mother made the decision to renounce her and Obama’s U.S. citizenship thus cancelling out his “natural born status”, he cannot dismiss the fact that he knowingly traveled on that same foreign passport representing full acceptance of his mother’s decision. This was the option he took and was not coerced into making.
The issue of alias names comes into play that may be the reason why Obama refuses to produce the requested documents. Under what names would any of these documents appear: Barack Hussein Obama, Barry Soetoro, Barry Obama, Barack Dunham or Barry Dunham and had proper applications been filed in the U.S. to allow the legal use of any other name than his birth name?
When did Obama actually denounce his Indonesian citizenship or did he? If he used one name on his Indonesian Passport and denounced that citizenship under another name then his Indonesian Passport is still active, and he willingly committed fraud by taking the oath of allegiance to the U.S.! If he continued the charade and filed the necessary documentation to be recertified as an American citizen, due to his assumed Hawaiian birth, and had signed the oath of allegiance under the same pretense of the different alias he has compounded the charge of fraud.
Obama’s continued refusal to cooperate is taken as an assumption of guilt, a attempt to commit fraud, a betrayal of the people’s trust, and an attempt to deliberately circumvent our constitution .
We demand immediately action be taken. If he does not willingly step down, he should be arrested prior to the inauguration ceremony otherwise he will be considered a usurper, someone who does not qualify as our President, and will not receive our support nor will anything he places his signature one be considered legal.
He should not be allowed to continue with this charade under any circumstances nor be able to take up residency in the White House, otherwise a new scandal “ Obamagate” will result and will further discredit the Democratic Party and the integrity of our country.
The Democratic Chairman, Nancy Pelosi who attested to that fact that Obama did meet the full qualification by not coming forward to correct this travesty of injustice should be impeached for her involvement in continuing the charade together with other top officials involved.
Regardless of the type of documentation, when anyone denounces their U.S. citizenship, they can no longer be considered a “natural born “citizen. If they file the appropriate documentation they can be reclassified, but then they become a “naturalized citizen” incapable of qualifying as a Presidential nominee. If they do not file the appropriate documentation, they are considered and illegal immigrant. Which one is Obama, a “naturalized citizen or an illegal immigrant”?
The amount of anger presently shown on the internet will continue to grow. A number of the Obama voters are now demanding a revote due to a majority of the news media’s failure to report both sides of the election process. Had they known, Obama would not have received their vote.
If our news media refuses to report the facts shown in this communication, they should receive punishment for the bias commentary they promoted throughout the entire campaign.
We demand we be afforded the degree of justice we are entitled to under the laws of our government through the constitution and our civil rights. When more rights are given to one side versus that of the other, our government is promoting discrimination and civil unrest. If we were involved in this type of charade, we would have been investigated immediately and placed in jail. This type of discriminatory practice should not be allowed.
If our government allows this charade to continue and Obama to be inaugurated the only action left is impeachment. Knowing that the Democratic Party will not impeach Obama, as they themselves are involved, we will consider this a ploy to divert the people’s attention. But we will not be brushed aside.
We will be relentless in taking this situation as far as necessary: In addition to Impeachment, to pursue a full investigation into potential fraud involving Obama’s campaign funding, the Acorn $800,000 contribution and voter fraud, the Obama, Kerry and Dodd’s $100,000+excessive contribution by Fannie Mae and Freddie Max and the overall financial crisis caused by Obama and the Democratic Party, his involvement with other controversy within the State of Illinois. At this point, we prefer to keep our involvement with the Presidential election process.
I hope there are a sufficient number of African Americans with integrity that realize this is not an issue about race, but about an individual that manipulated and perpetrated one of the best frauds in political history (with the help of the Democratic Party) when he duped a majority of people into believing his lies. He destroyed the opportunity for an honorable African American to become the first President of the United States due to his deception. Why the Democratic Party could not have found an African American with more integrity similar to Collin Powell, I do not know. For I believe they could have found someone if they looked hard enough. Any anger resulting from this disaster should be addressed against the Democratic Party for their part in causing this dilemma.
