Even Homer Simpson is now politicized and a victim of bipartisanship.

cannot access the episode on my work computer! My bet is McCain. After all he is Homer Simpson and he would for sure support the lowest common denominator.

Jenny Rome GA: No, he is trying to vote for Obama but the machine keeps voting McCain. He hit Obama’s name 6 times but the machine voted McCain 6 times instead… Scary….

McCain, Obama and Biden deserve equal credit for this bailout. Palin is the only one not involved. I guess if I was Homer I would vote for the ticket that included Palin.

“Don’t blame me. I voted for the green

I thought Homer worked at a nuclear power plant?
You would think he would support McCain.
Ingrate……………

bye the way, even if Palin does fine, it doesnt change much, John McCain is the top of the ticket and he blew it badly for 2 straight weeks, showing his uncontrolled strategy of ad hoc stunts, which he hoped to tie together long enough to get elected… his real message? the American people have no attention span, I will just tie enough prejudicial “events” together and form a negative impression of the opposition. After all, the peoples consciousness is only episodic and they never think through a thing ! This is why Sarah Palin, herself a gimmick, matters not…its who placed her before us who is to blame.

Obama (D-ACORN)
Biden (D-MBNA)

Posted by: geevill | October 2, 2008, 2:51 pm 2:51 pm

I heard the ACORN group in New Orleans is in BIG trouble.
Apparently the brother of one of the ACORN founders has embezzled millions from the group funds, and the relatives have been trying to keep the crimes under wraps for awhile.

Homer’s dad? Grandpa?
I thought he was in the old age home?
Are you thinking of BART, and not HOMER?

Posted by: SandyB | October 2, 2008, 2:52 pm 2:52 pm

I think he would go democrat. 20 seasons, wow.

SandyB,
The Simpsons in recent years have made a gag out of Homer never being in work or wroking dozens of different jobs for a single episode.
He may or may not still work at the power plant.
Depends on the storyline.

I love it. That’s good Groening.
From a man who started out with Life is Hell, it is the perfect place for Homer to be chewed up and spit out.

Jake shame on YOU,
Are you trying to say that American voters are JUST LIKE HOMER SIMPSON.
That we do the same stupid things as Homer.
If that is what you are saying then it is back firing.
American might have been like HOMER when they elected D…A.. Bush, but the beatens Americans have taking has moved a lot of Americans out of the “Fear, Alice in Wonderland, B.S.” of the Bush Era.
How dare you.
Obama 08

It won’t work JAKE,
People will not be moved, and will go out to vote for Obama..
And if it does come out with a corrupt results,
I would hate to be the people who organized it.
Rebellion is inevitable.

Umm, sorry Homer, but who’s screwing thing up in Ohio?
Jennifer Brunner
argues that they are merely “casting their ballot” rather than “voting”
Bans GOP election monitors
etc etc
Please tell us the truth about Freddie and Fannie, etc.
