You know, I believe it was said that it was more an idea than a promise.

That’s the thing Obama was not properly vetted by the DNC. This is a person that was in the senate for only 143 days before he decided to run for office. Clearly he put his career aspirations before the people of Illinois who elected him.
I think a lot of voters who still do not know what they will do when they go to vote may end up just not casting a vote for president – there is nothing that says we HAVE to vote.
My state will more than likely remain blue but I have to vote for McCain so that I can at least assure myself that I did the right thing. Not voting, or voting a third party, IMHO is no longer an option. This will be a close race in many states and sitting back, no matter for what reason, is not going to help.
I know we are encouraged to vote our consciences but this vote is a matter of life or the loss of democracy.

When are the Obama fans going to realize that they have been taken in by the biggest con man in modern history? Just as he did not know the preaching of Wright after attending the Church for 20 years, he(Obama) did not know about Ayers even after he kicked off in Ayers home. Then there’s the case of the other guy that is in jail now, which Obama does not know why. Obama does not explain he and Sen Dodd receiving alot of money from Fannie Mac, then hiting the ceo after Fannie Mac went defunk. I could go on and on. We all read Obama’s books. It is one of the main reasons I decided to vote for him. They are not only beautiful, but clearly articulate his knowledge of the important issues.

I don’t care about the contributions, you can only go by what a person tells you. I do care that Obama doesn’t know the situation his aunt lives in. Also I care that he doesn’t care enough to take his two girls to see his dying grandma. My 85 year old mother lives with me, even though I don’t have the resources that the Obamas have.
