I first heard about it from my son yesterday. He often watches Fox. The first news source reporting the story was Fox with a link to the UK article.
The second source was the Boston Globe. I did not find any other news sites covering the story.

Well, there is a solution: DEPORT HER, along with the other MILLIONS of ILLEGAL ALIENS sucking the life out of our country.
Simple. *DARE* INS to start enforcing the laws regarding illegal aliens in the USA!

“I was startled to read in today’s Associated Press that a ‘federal law enforcement official’ has leaked information about an immigration case involving a relative of Senator Obama,” said a letter sent to Chertoff by Rep. John Conyers, D-Michigan, who chairs the House Judiciary Committee.
“Even more troubling, the AP reports that it ‘could not establish whether anyone at a political level in the Bush administration or in the McCain campaign had been involved,’ a very disturbing (suggestion) indeed,” the letter said.
“This leak is deplorable and I urge you to take immediate action to investigate and discipline those responsible.”
The AP reported Saturday that Obama’s Kenyan aunt, Zeituni Onyango, is living in the United States illegally, even though an immigration judge rejected her request for asylum four years ago. The story cites two sources, one of them a federal law enforcement official.
CNN has not been able to independently verify the aunt’s immigration status. Immigration and Customs Enforcement spokeswoman Kelly Nantel declined comment, saying the agency “is prohibited from commenting on any individual’s status.”

May I point out that this is now NO difference in the numbers Gallup gets using its two different sets of voter projections.
I would also point out Zogby uses projections based on the turnout in previous elections (in which case he is assuming more Republicans will vote than Democrats, and he still has Obama ahead).
The same is true of Rasmussen which has a 3-4 pt Republican lean and which also shows Obama ahead.
I advise you also to check the state polls. Obama is trending up in Florida and holding steady elsewhere.
AND I would note that Arizona is now regarded as a toss-up.
Finally I point to the Wall Street Journal which is already talking about a Democratic victory mandate.

People have lost homes, health care, pensions, the ability to afford to send their children to higher education, and meanwhile, the rich have gotten super rich. CEOs like McCain adviser Fiorina got a 40 million dollar parachute for laying off thousands. Even after the bailout, corporations have scheduled 70 Billion Dollars in bonuses for their executives this year. McCain’s advisers are former lobbyists and CEOs who got rich off the very companies that shafted the Middle Class. People understand that Bush-Cheney’s, McCain-Gramm’s “help the rich get super rich and the Middle Class get jobless” philosophy will just continue under John McCain. They understand McCain will extend Bush’s tax cuts to the rich, give corporations (including oil companies) Billions in tax breaks, tax health care premiums and do away with employer-matched health care and a whole lot more. They understand that McCain’s smears, no matter how he goes around the barn to make them, are just attempts to cause us to forget. We need a president who cares for the Middle Class. There was a good deal reported on Senator Obama when he was in the Illinois Senate. Check the Chicago Tribune’s archives, for example.
And its funny, because if you do that, you find that back in the day, even his Republican colleagues had nothing but good things to say about him.
As for his early life, I only wish Sarah Palin’s life had gotten that much scrutiny.
Just because what the media has reported (and what sources like factcheck have confirmed) contradicts the lies and smears on the right wing blogs and right wing talk radio does not mean it has been “covered up.”

Interesting comment Jim. On PBS recently I watched the American Experience Presidents episode on Richard Nixon–whose Presidency was shrouded in secrecy. The similarity of the Nixon and Obama campaigns is uncanny. I even recognized a number of phrases in Nixon’s speeches that Obama has used in his. And like Obama, Nixon was extremely effective at campaigning–the biggest reason Eisenhower chose him for his running mate.

It didn’t break free from the essential constraints that were placed by the Founding Fathers in the Constitution, at least as it’s been interpreted, and the Warren Court interpreted it in the same way that generally the Constitution is a charter of negative liberties. It says what the states can’t do to you, says what the federal government can’t do to you, but it doesn’t say what the federal government or the state government must do on your behalf. (My mistake, I always thought that the Bill of Rights gave me some pretty positive rights to defend against the tyranny of government… And yes it does it says it must provide for the common defense among other things. And, not being a Constitutional Scholar, I wasn’t aware that the Supreme Court Justices were suppose to attempt to break free of the constraints that the Constitution put on them.)

My dad was a minister, and he was a member of Ministerial Alliance, which is a community faith based group of ministers, rabbis, clerics, Priests, Hindu and Buddha Priests, who gather weekly and monthly to determine needs of the community, happenings, crime, development, financial health, health care, etc. These entities are concerns and joys for their congregations and communities. Secondly, National Guard is community based planners. They interact with cities and rural areas to determine development and growth, and prepare areas for disaster preparations. United Way is a community planning organization. They support Boys and Girls Clubs of America, Women’s Safe Have Shelters for Women and Children in Domestic Violence and Issues, Catholic Diocese Legal System to assist low wage clients with legal services and offered to all community and region involved. Food Banks are community based and planners to get Thanksgiving Dinners out to homeless, misplaced employees, needy families, and homebound seniors, and provide food to need all year round. Senior Citizen Centers are community based planners to give Seniors a location to go and be around their peers with activities and prepared meals. Back To Work programs are community based planners in helping the underskilled become skilled workers and employees, and help them find work through Workforce Employment. Community Planners help pregnant girls prepare for their babies, and how to be a great mom from teenager to adult ages. There are many many more services of community based planners. Again, when you have a Republican ask “What is a community planner?”, just know they aren’t community involved.

I have been listening to the Mccain campaign for months and months now and the one thing they have not done is actually state their stance on issues concerning the american people. When I read about it in the Washington Times, I wrote him. His reply is below. He sounds like an amazing person.

I’m sure that there have been Presidents that have had criminals as relatives, just not illegal immigrants.
