You really think ACORN made that big of a difference? They merely paid people to register voters, and if in the interest of making their commission those people made up some names and put them down as newly registered voters, that doesn’t change the actual outcome. Mickey Mouse may now be a registered voter, but he’s not showing up to vote. ACORN isn’t some big conspiracy, its just a bunch of low paid people selfishly looking to make a buck. McCain supports are just looking for something to whine about with this one.

What drives me nuts is that this has turned into a racial campaign! It is not Afican American Obama, ‘It’s American Obama!” He technically is an “African Caucasion” American! We never bring up the fact that his mom was white and that she raised him, just like Hally Berry. Can’t he just be an American? This drives me nuts! Should I start calling myself a Irish/Polish/Bohemian/Scottish American? Bringing up “classifications” of people constantly, will never end racism, it will make it linger on and on. We are all AMERICANS.

I feel confident that Obama will do a good job. He ran a great campaign over two years and that says a lot. He knows strategy, he is cool under fire and attacks, he knows how to inspire, and he has shown that he is much more intelligent than everyone in the Republican camp. The best man won.
I don’t have any expectations that Obama will work miracles. He is inheriting a colossal mess that Bush/Cheney and the Republican Congress saddled this country with, so it’s going to take some time and it’s going to require this country to unite like it has never before.
Once again, this is a triumph for democracy and the greatest country the world has ever known. Let us look to the future now. Let’s leave behind the dirty divisive politics and move on. This campaign has been way too long. We need to get back to fixing this country and becoming great again.

What an opportunity we all have to rise above (fill in the blank) with a leader who inspires. Now, let’s get to work.

Please give President Obama a chance to prove his promises of CHANGE and we will see his gutz how he can tranform the country’s economic problems.
Recession, unemployment, bankcruftcy, mishandling of Iraq issues, etc. etc. are now a big headache of President Obama.
Words can not tranforms all of these problems except the help of all American people and the cooperation of the entire world.

You know, I can take EVERYTHING you said about Obama and say the SAME things about the current President–George Bush.
Bush and surely Cheney have very questionable backgrounds, they both started a war on lies, and in case YOU haven’t noticed, this economy is in RUINS and the discourse in this country completely sucks, and for folks like ME who had to endure the last 8 years of a failed Bush/Cheney presidency and who had a cousin who came back from Iraq blind, this victory for Obama couldn’t come fast enough for us! And you wanna talk about hard working Americans? Well now those at the TOP WILL have to pay their fair share of taxes and I say thank GOODNESS for that. Warren Buffet whose a BILLIONAIRE and richest man in the world said it’s a shame His secretary pays more in taxes then HE does.

Obama was greatly under-estimated from the start of his campaign until the finish by… fellow African Americans, Hillary Clinton, John McCain, Sarah Palin, and Joe the Plumber.
Now Clinton’s jumped on the bus.
Now McCain’s faced the reality and horror of what he allowed himself to become.
Now Palin’s somewhere bitter in Alaska clinging to a wolf-killing machine gun and her wacky much-You Tubed religion.
Now The Plumber’s finally decided to really be a “real American” and pay his taxes by winning a really real reality show competition.
