I would venture it’s a statement to the press carefully worded and read. Unless, Mr. Blagojevich in his unflappable good spirits decides to be spontaneous instead. Given some of his behavior lately, it’s not entirely discountable that he might come sprinting onto the scene in a jogging suit in a state of disconnect. But I’m sure it will be a carefully crafted scene with Mr. Genson at his side or nearby.
Mr. Genson’s most recent case was the R. Kelly child pornography case, which I read a little of this morning. Seems like Mr. Kelly has a history of paying off underage accusers. That may have been why the underage girl in the video denied she was in it and subsequently, the witnesses that she was in it came outside the immediate family. At any rate, the Genson team had some creative defense tactics. Ultimately, the poor quality copy of a copy of the original video shown to the court was the main evidence of contention, I think.
He wasn’t so successful with Conrad Black, a media mogul, who I understand put in a request to Bush for his sentence to be commuted. Like Blago, Conrad Black was presented in a similar spirit to the public- as victim and object of a witch hunt. And as a last word, the scandal aspects lie with Blago and the attorney he’s chosen, not with Obama coincidentally being a senator and political figure in Illinois. But it seems like the media prefers the gossamer cotton candy associations to the real meat.

“The Governor, “talked loud and said nothing”. There is more here than any eye can see. I believe he has “the goods” on a lot of other people who have yet to be discovered. They all are “hoping” he resigns, because they know there will be “political blood and gore” all over the floor. His fellow political “co-conspirators” have come to the realization that this guy is going to go out “kicking and screaming, holding on to the door”. He is doing the equivalent of what a “suicide bomber” would do: “Take a lot of politicians down with him”. Why everybody keeps saying that seat belongs to Obama is beyond me. That seat belongs to the people of Illinois. The governor said, ” I will fight, I will fight, I will fight”! Then his “lying lips” brings in the ghost of poor Kipling, what an arrogant “huggermugger”. What he and his Democrat co-conspirators fail to realize is, the voters are waiting to give all these bums a “knockout” punch. This guy has almost “sub-zero”approval ratings, and he is thanking people for their support? Excuse me! This is unbelieveable, maybe they should “tap” his phones to see who is giving him all the support. I’m sure Jesse “Bugeyed” Jackson,Jr., is “kissing on his assahollah”, he wants that job so bad, he would “give up his manhood” to get it, by any means necessary. The lil’ “switcher-snitcher” what a lil’ douchebag! I am hoping that Blago will “fight with all his might”,and in doing so will “discredit”, and “bring down” the whole “Chicago Democrat corrupted machine”, and that the vacant Senate will go to the most “qualified” candidate, even if it is a Republican.
