Oh PAHLEEEEEEEEEEZE….
Look, the statement near the end of Jake’s comments….clearly indicates that Obama, from 2006 to DATE, did not want anything to do with Blogo! HELLO! does the American public need 50c for the clue here!?
This is just selling papers and keeping reporters jobs!!! Ugh.

George and I chatted with Charlie about it all tonight.
Well if the three of you talked, what can I say?
That is all you have done all day is chat Jake, innuendos, speculation, and trash.

Here’s the BIG QUESTION:
Will Bush pardon Blagojevich?
Get on it, Jake.

“I had tingles up my leg” when I heard the news (words stollen from Chris Mathews). This is great news…I hope they keep on arresting. All these cockroaches need to be put out of their jobs…I give so much thanks to the the Tribune writers for not being afraid to print the truth and a great big THANK YOU to Fitzgerald for a job well done. Keep up the great work. Jake you’re great too!

And Jake gets taken to task by Nate Silver for his obviously deficient reading of the complaint and supporting affidavit. Stop talking about it so much, Jake, and get your facts straight so that you can deal your innuendos from a more stable footing: http://www.fivethirtyeight.com/2008/12/what-jake-tapper-doesnt-know-about-what.html

there is no way Obama could have advanced as far as he did in so short a time unless he was as dirty as all of them in Illinois politics. Obama and Axelrod worked as advisors for Blago, for gosh sakes. And dontja worry….. do you think blago and Harris will keep quiet? these guys will get tortured in the slammer, they will do anything to stay out, and Obama has already thrown him under the bus….Blago and Harris will squeal like little pigs.
Obama….Axelrod….Michelle….you are all next, and America will not be satisfied until we see you all led away in handcuffs.

Poor innocent Obama so unaware of things happening right in front of his face. The last president that was so unaware said he didnt realize terroists planned to attack the U.S with planes even though an intelligence memo practically spelled it out for him. Either Obama better start getting aware or stop the lyinging. My guess Obama knew excatly what was happening and the Govenor of Ill. got too greedy and Obama got pissed and had his people drop the dime on him.

Obama’s staff.

I grew up in northern Illinois. The state’s given us some of our best public servants…
Lincoln, Dirksen, Douglas, Simon and Stevenson and some of our worst…Powell, Kerner, Walker, Ryan and Blago.
What makes Blago particularly noteworthy is that he’s been behaving like the prize-winning kid in the old tv show who was given a shopping cart and ten minutes in Marshall Field’s toy department. This kind of frenzied, over-the-top greed is unusual even in Illinois.
Maybe Blago, the Chicago Democrat, will end up sharing a cell with his predecessor, George Ryan, the Downstate Repbulican.

Obama was feeding him names who he did and did not want to fill the seat.
Mr Obama knew exactly what was going on.
Of course Obama and his team are going to elude, evade, deny, lie and blame others for everything. The obama way, The Illinois way, the Chicago way of doing politics.
If he gave him up to the FBI, he did it for one reason only. To save his own but and sell him out and to keep his name out of the law suit. A Plea Bargain.
Obama usual excuses
1. I did not know him well
2. I never heard him say anything like that
3. He is just a guy from the neighborhood.
4. It was a bone head Idea
5. I met him at a fund Raiser
6. He is still a nice guy
In reality they should take all the Illinois and Chicago Polititicans who ever were and are and replace them with new ones. The Corruption runs deep and right to the white house now.

Who would have thought our first affirmative action President(Hillary received more votes , RBC/DNC/Media denied her the victory) would be a crook. Wonder why the DNC moved to the most corrupt city in America?.
HAHA!!
Barry Soetoro unfit to lead.

Barry Blago-Rezko-Obama is sure going to be a sticky mess. I guess moving the DNC under Blago’s wing was a bad idea afterall.
Obama lies, about most everything. He just isn’t very good at it.

seah,
Obama already knew Blago was a slimy guy. Esp after his re-election, where he started getting involved in shady stuff, he and Obama had a pretty strained relationship.
Hello, the recorded convo had Blago referring to Obama using expletives, when did an expletive become the synonym for “my good buddy”? It’s clear that if Obama or his staff knew anything, they didn’t play ball with Blago- which was why he was so angry that the only thing they would give was “appreciation”. More likely, he’s just not going to comment because the investigation is ongoing, and if he said he knew something, the media would try to dig it out before the FBI is ready to release the info.

Bigtime,
Hey, I wonder why people like you feel an incessant need to use some other form of Obama’s name other then “Barack Obama”. What correlation is there in enunciating Obama’s failings by using his foreign names like “Hussein” and “Soetoro”? Perhaps you could enlighten me about the wise and complex ways of fear-mongering and bigotry.

“The truth will prevail.” Hopefully, the public will get the truth from the investigation. The governor is accused, not convicted. Frankly, I’m bothered by the accusations about the Senate seat. Where’s the proof of money or favors actually being carried out? Is this a political move and who benefits? This complaint doesn’t pass the smell test.

Tom,
how in the world do you even come close to equating this issue with regretting voting for Obama!?
You must be paying to close attention to the media versus the facts. Obama has distanced himself from Blogo since 2006. Read the reports and “quotes” and stop reading between the lines along with the media!!
