Bush Avoids the Spotlight on Vacation, Despite International Conflict

ABC News’ Kirit Radia reports from Crawford, Texas:

Even an emerging crisis in the Middle East, one he pledged to resolve just 13 months ago, has not drawn President George W. Bush from his final vacation before leaving office. Despite his personal pledge at Annapolis last year to broker a deal between Israel and the Palestinians before 2009, this weekend Bush sent his spokesmen to comment in his stead.

The spokesman’s statement, while blaming Hamas for the outbreak of violence, did not signal that the United States is prepared to step in to resolve the conflict, suggesting that this president is content to leave the matter for his successor.

Since departing Washington for Crawford on Friday, President Bush has made no attempt to be seen in public. In fact, he has yet to leave his ranch.

His spokesmen said that the president has stayed in the loop, receiving his usual briefings and consulting with his top advisors. He had at least one talk with a foreign leader, a conversation with Saudi King Abdullah, yesterday.

Not atypically, we have yet to learn anything more about what is keeping the commander in chief busy, though one can assume there is brush to be cleared, trails to be biked, and perhaps even fish to be caught.

The Western White House expects to begin briefing reporters starting tomorrow, which will hopefully shed some light on the U.S. response to the Israel-Gaza situation… and on the president’s schedule.

Bush’s lack of understanding of the root causes of the problems of the middle east makes his lying low not a bad thing. He should fade away. Occupation in the territories is the real problem.

So Obama won’t make a statement because “there is only one President at a time”, while the man who IS still President says nothing while his Israeli allies commit war crimes against the Palestinians.
Sadly Bush–himself a war criminal–lacks the credibility and moral courage to make a humanitarian stand–even as the last act of his treasonous presidency.

In 1917 after the defeat of the Ottoman empire by Britain and France. 78% of Palestine was Muslim. 11% were Christian and only 11% were Jews. The Muslims had ruled that land for 500 years.
In the 1890???s Herzl proposed a ???homeland??? for the Jews. The movement was called Zionism. Jews were scattered around the world. The concept of developing a Jewish State ???for the Jews??? to bring them together was commendable. Except, if you want to create such a State, you have to take the land from somebody else!
In WW1, during the fighting in that area (Palestine), Britain promised control to the Arabs for their support in defeating the Turks. (Remember Lawrence of Arabia?) However, at the end of the war, Jewish lobbyists (Weisman and Balfour) convinced the British to declare Palestine a ???Homeland for the Jews???. This of course did not sit well with the Arabs.
Then, in Palestine, with the Jewish methods of takeover, similar to the way we in the US took over from the American Indians, resentment exploded. It has then spread to the whole of the he Mideast and can be argued to be the main cause of the situation there today.
The resentment lead to terrorism as a Palestinian defense because apparently, the Palestinians along with the rest of the Muslim world, have no will or capability to organize politically or otherwise to influence the Palestinian situation from a broader perspective.
On top of that , we the US, have never been perceived as treating the parties fairly. Why we sided with the Jews is a puzzle because from the beginning our interest have been oil and had we played the game more fairly we may not be having all the problems (global terrorism) we have today.
What a pity!

As a senator, Obama does not have access to the Executive branch briefings and resources to even properly monitor the situation, never mind implement any policy. Obama can’t even get permission to move into the president elect’s housing a couple weeks early. You are profoundly ignorant if you think Obama could do anything more than hold a press conference – a foolish move since it would undercut the American government and be done without full knowledge (8 minute call not withstanding).

This entire situation is extremely sad. Especially seeing the pictures of innocent children with blood streaming down their faces. As always seems the case in the Middle East, both sides share the blame. Hamas had to have known what the result would be when they began launching missiles into Israel. To say that Israel is engaging in war crimes by responding is a bit disingenuous. If Mexico or Canada began launching missiles into the U.S. the response would be the same. Israel has a right to defend itself. On the other hand the retaliation is leaving hundreds of innocent Palestinian women and children dead and injured and that indicates that Israel is being reckless in the manner of its response. Both sides have once again contributed to this disaster.

What few Americans seem to realize is that the Democratic and Republican parties are not part of the government? These are private organizations. They are not under the Constitution, so they can do pretty much whatever they please.
If the Democratic Party chooses to run Daffy Duck, and the Republican Party Goofy, they are fully entitled to do so. Indeed, many would argue they already have, many times.
Again, the parties are not art of the government, they are private organizations and they own the government. Washington isn’t ours, it’s theirs.
One of the few things you can be sure about is party honchos will do whatever they think is best for this private organization, regardless of how much damage they do to America.
As long as voters insist on seeing politics in terms of democratic vs. republican, or left vs. right, liberals vs. conservatives, there is little hope for this country.
When we switch back to seeing politics in terms of liberty vs. power as the early Americans did, then we will have regained the road to peace, freedom and abundance.
Every mainstream candidate is always on the side of power and will do whatever it takes to get it and keep it. They will not give up their government, their power and their riches that they took from you, the taxpayers.

Hamas is constantly attacking Israel. Hamas refuses Israel’s right to exist. Hamas is killing Israeli women and children intentionally.
I believe Israel is showing very considerable restraint and care for the people of Gaza by only attacking security targets.
The old arguement of the muslims were there before the jews is slightly crazy. To take such an absurd arguement you would then just go back a few thousand years and say that the jews were there before the muslims even existed. We have to look at the current situation and both sides need to recognize each other and live peacfully. Hamas has to give up it’s obsession with destroying Israel.

If one of these other countries cited (China, Russia, etc..) were to TAKE OVER our land, do you think we wouldn’t shoot missiles at them? Israel is way beyond its legitimate borders. Supposedly we attacked Iraq the FIRST time because Saddam invaded Kuwait (but we APPROVED that – google “April Glasspie.”). Yet we actually FUND Israel to invade land.

george bush likes money, and making his friends richer. Its all about who you know not what you know, un important credit slaves can claim all the things they want but at the end of the day are no where near connected to the circles that really rule our country and there for have no real idea of what is happening at the top. It is to me a systematic plundering of treasure , tax payer money.
Bush has done his deeds and so far has gotten away with it, we are so weak and afraid of saying things, its a shame true power and force exist because they will keep mouths shut at all costs. If this were a democracy that functioned the way it does on paper i feel our great leader would have been impeached, for being dishonest and going into war on false pretexts. We have dumped the american dollar in iraq for what reason? our government needs to secure the oil it needs in order to maintain its force and power using the technology. Devices that only work with constant supplies of power .
I always feel sorrow when i wonder what america would have been like if our leaders at the top decided to just re invest in america, spend 700 million on the inside let us all feel a little wealthy, make the average american a little better educated, a little healthier, and maybe happier. But as i write it becomes clear, us as a people can not handle wealth, we need to spend it on horrible strange things too.
gwb was planned and carried out by very smart influential men who have just become more powerful then anything conceived in any book or film. the government was ripe for a plunder and def got it self robbed silly. Last stage a financial crisis resulting from a mix of greed and over spending. when one expects too much money to grow way to fast things will fall and burn. growth is slow and steady, and the fact is some one has too lose. What a lot of hot air here. Why blame or criticize President Bush for this?
He gave MidEast peace a try same as all the other recent past presidents. Results are the same.
I think that pounding Hamas may bring them to the peace table and ultimately give Israel a temporary peace.
I compare this to having someone shooting at you and missing. What do you do? You shoot back. If they continue to shoot at you, you continue shooting back till they stop or are killed.

Hey if drudge hadn’t posted a link from ABC, who would even be seeing any of their stuff. But it does seem a bit unusal today that people with a bit of common sense who don’t won’t to be just haters are posting. I guess it’s because of the holiday. Most of the time we have to work. I would advise all the Obama haters though, lets not be like the Bush bashers, let him have a shot at the job. I know it is almost irresistable to jerk their chains, but they are Americans too. Let’s see what OB and the Dems can do. For sure they won’t have the mainstream media (ABC, CBS, CNN, CNBC, The Trib, NYT, etc ) on their ass and that should make his work a bit easier. Meantime if they do good we all do good. If not, we will get another chance somewhere down the road. Then we better not blow it. Anybody out there up for getting term limits passed? I read about the speculation that our president has fallen off the wagon and is hitting the bottle again, and I really don’t have a feel for how likely that is. But his absence from the public eye increases the speculation at the very least.

The rules of war have changed as they always and inevitably do, imposed by the most recent winner. As a correllary, the loser is the last one clinging to the old rules. That’s the way it works.
If you’re sane and like the Geneva Convention, you should be praying that Israel wins this war and utterly crushes Hamas. Hamas believes in abusing and ritual execution of prisoners, targeting civilians, terrorism, using civilian shields. The whole world should rise up against all of Hamas and punish it severely for these violations, or the current rules mean nothing.
GWB is doing exactly the right thing, here. It is in noone’s interest to stop the fighting before Israel has achieved a clear and decisive victory, eliminating Hamas entirely.
Oh, and would someone please sink Cynthia McKinney’s stupid little boat?

As for Bush43, seems that a lot of people are jumping to conclusions about what is and isn’t being done in his administration. He’s never revealed all the cards he’s playing. Why would he start now?

jd – I have no blog. I have no agenda. I like Bush, voted for him twice and voted straight Republican ticket this year. Not sure why you assume I am making up stories, I just read what I read and always approach rumors like that with healthy dose of skepticism. And I did call it speculation, nothing else. Like I said, I really don’t have a feel for how likely it is. I do hope he’s OK and still sober. He’s a good man and I wish him well. I’m not going to load up a bunch of links here because I don’t feel like even looking up any of the stuff I read back in November. But, no, jd, I’m not making stuff up. Maybe other people are, so I just try to filter what I read and balance it all out as best as I can. I’m not perfect, no genius, no intellectual… just a human being and American citizen.
I am a little curious as to why you would jump on my comment like that. It was a little weird but no harm done.

jd – OK, you don’t have to be blessed if you don’t want to. I’m not in charge of that anyway, God is. Perhaps you are an atheist? If so, that is your right. Or maybe you are just suspicious of people who try to be polite and say nice things. It might be a cultural difference. And I do hope that our president is OK. I have known many people who’ve battled alcoholism and it is a serious problem that always lurks in the background. It is not unusual for recovering addicts to relapse under stress and I do care about our president and hope that all is well. I have worked with and managed substance abuse counselors in a correctional facility and know how hard it is to stay straight from hearing their stories.

Instead they stayed there to cause problems for the Jewish Peoples.
Now the surrounding Arab countries don’t want them anymore because they act like barbaric animals, which we see today.
Since you have just stated that it is ok to resort to violence when pushed to the brink, you surely understand why Israel has started defending herself after weeks of rockets being fired unprovoked at her civilian population.

Absolutely incredible. All of you people shock me to the core. You have absolutely no idea what is going on…
First, I don’t care if you make $8/hr now. If every person made $50/hr everyone would be broke! You cannot share the riches of a society, class seperation will always be there.
Second, step into the presidents shoes for one day and see if you can even handle it. I would like to see you try and give a speech in front of 6 BILLION people. I know I certainly could not do it easily. How about deciding the fate of a few hundred? A few thousand? Hundreds of Millions? I think after 8 years of doing that I would be on vacation too. Oh heavy drinking would probably be involved. There are no problems you can “solve” as president. All you can do is try to keep a majority somewhat happy. Inevitably someone will be at the top and someone will get crapped on from the bottom. That simple fact has been around since, hmmm lets see, the dawn of man!!
Third, for all you international law, political genious forum posters out there. If you are so knowlegable about what is going on with the world around you why have you not sent any bills up through congress? Whats that? Didn’t know you could? Have you ever even spoken to your representatives? Did you know that either? Stop complaining about the inequities of life and do something about it.

This is amazing to me that everyone here believes that we see one tenth of what is going on. Obama stated he would turn things around immediately and after actually sitting in a meeting with the current President he emerged and stated that things will get worse with the economy. Everyone here thinks that Bush is on vacation but his vacation means he is working remotely from Texas not hanging on a beach somewhere…he is in constant meetings, paperwork, and briefings…this is why each President ages by multiple years in four…Obama is only now seeing the depth of hte job in which he has been elected…if things change in four years it will be a miracle as each President is in it for themselves and their friends.

I get the argument about “what would you do if someone shot rockets into your town”, but I think it comes up as a huge double standard if you compare what is going on to the Georgia/Russia conflict from earlier in the year. The Administration was all over that (as was the RNC candidate) to denounce the unbalanced use of force. Does Israel have a right to protect itself? Sure, but I think most people see what is going on as a huge overstepping of their self-preservation mandate.

Geez, is it irony that the people who are “granted” a land in perpetuity via prophecy a.) don’t believe most of the prophecy (i.e. Revelation) and b.) realize that Christianity-based nations who do believe in the prophecy won’t raise a whisper in protest regardless of what Israel does for fear of ending up on the wrong side of a foretold Armageddon. I think religious scholars would have my back in saying that, even in the Bible, the nation of Israel has been wrong every now and again. Again, I think Israel has the right to defend itself as a country, but in this instance, I feel that they are simply making an example of Gaza and in the future are making more problems for themselves. Every event in the Middle East doesn’t have to be the unveiling of the End of the World. For quite a few millenia now its simply been a very convenient place for people to hate and kill each other, regardless of religion.

And if you hadn’t noticed that region of the world has been fighting over that land for centuries, and no “peace” treaty will ever succeed as both the Israelis and the Palestinians hold claim to land and their hatred for each other based on their religious beliefs, which are deeply rooted on either side. Bush can’t stop that, and frankly, Obama won’t be able to do much either. Obama has made it clear that he does not want to be involved in wars, and would rather just talk about it – and history shows that peace talks never work in the Middle East.
So – again, Bush may not be the greatest President our nation has ever known, but considering the trying times our country was thrown into, beginning 9/11 – He has done a mighty good job keeping the country from complete shambles (and don’t bring up the economy, that has been a work in progress since the last depression- economies don’t crash overnight, let alone in 8 years.)

What can the president do, I’m tired of the world blaming bush for everything that goes wrong. I don’t care much for him or any other politician but he can’t possibly do anything about this, they have been fighting in some capacity for as long as we have records. The Palestinians should know there only bringing this pain on themselves, if my neighbor was firing rockets off, I would expect who ever was lucky enough to be receiving those rocket to retaliate

I like to see a few Bush supporters stepping up. And it amazes me how someone complains about going from 18.00 an hour to 9.00 as if it isn’t their fault. It boggles me why everyone has to point the finger. Our President has never put the blame on anyone else and has abandoned his own base to try and do what he thinks is the best situation. And shame on the person earning a 9.00 an hour wage for acting like he/she can even comprehend the kind of struggles and decisions our president has to deal with. At no point of his last four years has he been worry free. Not only worry free for his family and those he has to provide for, but for our nation as a whole. And instead of complaining that you job wage has been reduced, why not be thankful of having a safe homeland and taking advantage of the freedom we are provided. Our government does it’s part in protecting us and giving us the opportunity to succeed. It still sickens me how a country of such pride as we once were can produce citizens with some of the views I hear on this Blog.

Cool, there are actually some pro Bush comments that are easy to find. Kudos, some of you are actually polite and loyal to The President of The United States! One more thing for me to feel good about. You all know how it is, each President is surrounded by brilliant people, so no need for us to chime in. You may not like the Iraq war but that’s just because you are a lazy unpatriotic coward. You would rather abort an unborn American baby than abort a terrorist.
Just because The President knows IN GOD IS OUR TRUST is the National Motto and you think Roe vs. Wade is the motto does not mean you have to leave insulting comments. Why get pregnant to begin with if you refuse to be a parent? Love a child, don’t take a child to an abortion doctor, take a child to Disneyland instead.

You can’t change the narrow minds of most libs. I have lived in Colo. for over 25 years and I’ve watched it grow. Mostly people from the Northeast, Cali, Minn. etc. moving here because it sucked where they were living. Colo. used to be a nice red state but these people brought there screwed up voting habits and it’s starting to suck just like the the places they left. When will they get it. Thanks for trying GW.

Why does the reporter insinuate that the POTUS is clearing brush, cycling, or fishing? This reporter is obviously un-American, as he doesn’t even know that the regular season just ended, and the possibility exists that two brothers could face each other in the Superbowl as opposing quarterbacks! With that and the NCAAF bowl games, I’d be watching ball with Condoleeza.
What the hell could the POTUS do to sate the lefties, anyhow? Invade Israel and stop them from attacking the poor, poor, pitiful terrorists?

Anyone with any knowledge of the Presidency knows you don’t have to be in Washington, DC to communicate with any world leader you so desire. There isn’t anyone in the world that can make peace in that part of the world. I think we should just let the parties involved handle it.
You might want to check the background of the writer of this article. Kirit Radia,in my opinion, he is anti-Bush in all of his articles and I’m not what country he is from. ABC really know how to hire writers, as long as they are anti-Bush they qualify.

Those liberals who constantly complaine about President Bush and his accomplishments, always forget that the democraps for eight years have been doing everything possible that they can to thwart everything that President Bush has proposed including solutions to the ongoing financial crises. Bush didn’t cause it, the liberal democraps did. Senileator Reid and Reprehensible whats her name from Califmexico have faught everything Bush has proposed to solve problems and then go on blaming Bush for the failures of whatever. President Truman had as low of a poll rating after firing that arrogant General McArther for overstepping his bounds in administering the Japanese nation after the end of WW-II and attempting to get us into another nuclear war with the Soviets. Truman was a good President who came from a more or less common background. President Bush will go down in history as a good president who led the nation during very difficult times. His failures, if any, has to do with all the political garbage the democraps have hurled at him over the last eight years and not because of his own decisions. What will the liberal media do when they discover that Obama can’t really walk on water and feed the multitudes with a few dead fish? You know it will always be Bush’s fault in the liberal’s minds no matter what. Thank you President Bush for your good service to the nation for eight years.

It appears the cracks are already starting to appear in the Obama camp. I can’t wait to see how he handles himself on the world stage. I can only imagine the rookie mistakes he will make. I suspect after a few terrorist attacks in the US, the nutjobs opinions will change. They will change with the wind. A real stable bunch.
Regarding Israels reaction to Hamas, if you disagree with them, I recommend you move into one of the neighborhoods being randomly attacked by Hamas, and then proclaim your disgust with their actions. It’s easy to complain, sitting in your comfortable home when the last terrorist attack in the US was 7 years ago. Wait a few months, it will change.

You are one sick puppy if a vacationing Barack Obama with “his perspiration glistening off his manly pectorals” is a more substantive behavior than all the things Bush has done over the last 8 years to keep us safe and prosperous.
Bush bargained and accommodated the Democrats who were stuck in gridlock mode to try to prevent him from being successful and from keeping our nation competitive and prosperous. But GWB did the best he could even with that.
No one is perfect, not even Obama, as you will see and have seen already.
You know nothing about what makes the world go around, beyond your radical low road attempt to smear GWBush for what will go down in history as one of the more difficult yet also successful presidencies up until the time the Democrats gained control again due to the Republicans’ error in not keeping a lid on all the Democrats’ spending.
All the efforts of GWB to protect us just went into the sewer with these Democrats now guiding the nation, just like when the Clintons took the nation into the sewer when they were floated into the White House for 8 years on a FAIRYTALE message of CHANGE and HOPE.
Then the Clinton Regime did everything possible to tie the hands of the CIA and FBI and they gutted our Military instead just so they could fund their targeted domestic handout programs for votes, instead of funding the military and the intelligence people needed to protect us from 9-11 terrorist attacks.
Thanks GWBush for all your efforts and may you get the applause and the proper vindication in the history books that you deserve. It was a tough 8 years and you did the best anyone could do.

None of you Bush bashers would be happy no matter what he did. If he got the US involved in this he would be accused of leaving a mess for the Obamessiah. Since he is not pushing Obama into a corner on it then he accused of being disconnected. I would imagine the most disappointing aspect of his job is the perpetual whining and criticism from the ungrateful mob that many Americans have joined. Why don’t they report on Obama’s vacation, or “return home”, and conflict it with his plans for the Middle East? Mr. Obama lives basically a block away from my house here in disgusting Kailua, Hawaii. I see him at the Marine base gym when I go, even at the beach. Why isn’t the “oh mightiest one” sitting down and developing a plausible plan to at least dim down the conflict on the Gaza Strip now? He does not have to wait.
Bush has not done everything wrong(Missile defense systems that Clinton tried to destroy to appease Russia etc..), it’s just that you don’t hear anything from the mouths of reporters and journalists that convey the successful things he has done.

Anybody remember Northern Ireland? Long story short: the British oppressed the Irish for 800 years. The Irish had legitimate grievances, but very little power. The IRA were formed — freedom fighters doing what little they could. Decades later, while the oppression they originally resisted diminished, the IRA, though they became afflicted with murderous criminals and drug dealers, developed a political wing, Sinn Fein, which sought change through ballots, not bullets. Tony Blair, who sacrificed his legacy to follow Bush into Iraq, worked his butt off, along with others in Dublin and Belfast, to find a solution.
Israel and the Palestinians will get there too (or, alternatively, there will be a Middle East holocaust, hopefully but not likely confined to that area)

ABC has done this type story before about Bush on “vacation”, the things of it are. 1 it’s the Christmas/New Years holiday season, 2 do you blame him for getting out of DC? He’d be exposed to a bunch of loud lefty protesters in the streets outside the White House. 3 Its all been shown before that he has all the telecommunication equipment he needs to hold press conference’s by either himself or his staff, which he is doing (the Western White House). 4 He is taking Israel’s side so why should he make them look bad? 5 ABC is going to cry when they have to attack Obama, so much so that they wont. NON NEWS STORY! You lefties are going to be so depraved of someone to hate in 3 weeks, I pity you and your loved ones that you’ll take it out on instead of Bush. There are no innocent Palistinians, Hamas was voted in by a large margin. Gaza could be a wonderland if the people were not ideological haters. There are Arabs who are citizens of Isreal. Can’t we all just get along? Why do the Palistinians have to push the Israelis out instead of living peacefully among them?
The Israelis made Gaza as well as the rest of Palistine bloom. The Arabs destroy.

What would you have Bush do?
It is a sad fact of life that wars do not end until one side defeats the other. Just look at history….
WWI; ended when both sides agreed to quit fighting basically and it took the sound defeat in WW2 to end that. Korea is still a problem after ending in a “tie”. Vietnam, while USA military were soundly victorious, politics lost the war. Gulf War in the 90s left the other side still breathing and we were back again to finish the job.
For the Isreal and Hamas to end their fighting one side has to finish off the other. Until then the conflict will continue….. No matter who is President a world away….

It is so convuluted and childish that it could you make you laugh except that some people actually still believe that the news is really the news. The mistake here was ever giving the Gaza strip back to Hamas. They have made it into a hell whole. Bush has used a different approach with this situation and from it , the sucide bombings stopped, Arfat, the terroist, was ousted, and I could go on but smart people understand what he did by allowing Israel to take care of itself. All the previous postering by our Presidents, especially Clinton accomplised nothing and it was illadvised to recognize Arfat, the terroist. Bush stopped that immediately and recognized him for what he was. The Jews in Isreal recognize this, but the soft Jews here voted for an inexperienced puppet. The liberal American way. It is beyond the pale that what happened here happened. Thanks to our wonderful unbaised press and our socialist teaching school system; history is a thing of the past set to repeat itself.

I would just as soon see the US stop getting involved in foreign country’s problems. Just read that Bush signed off on millions for Palestine. We are taxed too much, if we keep giving our hard earned money to foreign countries over and over…and it’s time we demand our money stay here! Foreign aid should only be given in a case of a natural disaster.
Just think how many bills could be paid off if we weren’t taxed to death?
Israel & Palestine have fought for eons, if they can’t work out their problems, we sure can’t.

As an Israeli I hate to see the atrocities in the Gaza strip but at the same time seeing children, at the age of my own, running every several minutes to a shelter as the sirens are announcing another missile on its way from Gaza with a target of killing as many Israelis as possible, is as bad. Its target are innocent civilians, not army soldiers. And the sad thing about it, is that it has been the target for years now. How long do you think we can retain ourselves? Can you imagine your kid afraid of taking a bath as the next siren is inevitable? Yes, it is horrible to see innocent people pay a price, and the IDF is doing all in its power to avoid that, but targeting Hamas targets, hidden in civilian sites has its implications. It is time for the Palestinians to kick their oppressor and get to a discussion. We truly want peace but FOR BOTH SIDES!

Thankfully, the US leaders understand that they must support Israel. Israel’s fight against Hamas is part of the US’s and the rest of the free world’s fight against terror. Hamas does not recognize Israel’s right to exist and is supported by Iran and Syria which as known openly support terror against western countries. This campaign is only part of the world’s fight for democracy and freedom.

Yoel – That is what you would like us to think. Actually terrorism is a direct result of the foreign policy that we are following. People don’t like you meddling in their affairs. They kind of get resentful. I think a mistake was made in 1948, but I am willing to say Israel is there so leave it be. However, as long as Israel continues to steal land for settlement construction, they should be resisted. Let’s not forget all of the checkpoints that restrict Palestinian movements within their own territories. Isreal is in the wrong, and they need to make some changes like ending the occupation. Until that time they should be resisted. If the US continues sending tax dollars to fund this cruelty, then my country the USA should be held to account.
