Obama to Nominate Bill Richardson as Secretary of Commerce

Dec 2, 2008 2:53pm

ABC News has learned that in Chicago Wednesday morning, President-elect Obama will announce that he’s nominating New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson to be his Secretary of Commerce.

Also, for those of us keeping tabs with the diversity abacus, Richardson will be the first Latino named to the Cabinet.
