No big deal. Chamblis won re-election in a very southern red state against a weak opponent. The modern Repub party is regional party and Georgia is, as Gov. Witless would say, “smack-dab in the middle of the region. Ya Betcha!

Yes, the Black vote had only one mission:
Elect the half-Black guy (even if he has NOTHING at all in common with 96% of us)to be President, by hook or by crook.
Once that mission was accomplished, they could care less about any other Democrats running for office.
