Al Gonzales: I Am One of the Many Casualties in the War on Terror

Former Attorney General Alberto Gonzales told the Wall Street Journal that "for some reason, I am portrayed as the one who is evil in formulating policies that people disagree with. I consider myself a casualty, one of the many casualties of the war on terror."

The former AG is shopping around a book about his experience in the Bush Administration. No publisher yet.

from the WSJ:
“The Harvard Law School graduate, onetime corporate lawyer … ”
Gonzalez, a “minority” power hustler who’s had his day, sounds like … Obama-of-the-future …

Evil?? Surely Al you can do better than that. Perhaps incompetent would be a better description. Your wounds are self-inflicted.

Here is a guy that is the chief law enforcement official in the US that ok’d so many policies and cultivated an environment that disregarded the laws of the land he should not be given a forum for sending out more lies. He is now trying to weasel his way out of his poor choices and his lack or moral fiber. Another Bushie that is now backtracking now that his boss and those of that ilk are being banished from Washington.

Considers himself a casualty? Gimme a break! He, the attorney-general, who promises to uphold the law of the WHOLE nation and ensures that all the people do likewise otherwise…….. Yet, he carried out policies detrimental to a law-abiding nation based on ideology! Trampled on many human rights, disregarded laws under guise of “security”, and in fact did injustice instead of justice. How can he, in good conscience, declare himself to be a victim?? This is the kind of warped thinking that he has had, and is now further confirming. That is is always right, and if we are not with him, we are against him. The true character of Gonzalez is now coming out.

Something even more comical is an ignorant political naive who can’t spell a simple word like comical. Gerard must have graduated from the Dan Quayle School for Political Chuckleheads. Gonzalez is a lying Bush stooge and it willbe great to rid the Justice Department of his vile Bush stench.

It’s the story of Sarah Palin, Michael Brown, Caroline Kennedy, Icarus, and George Costanza.
Flying too close to the sun on wings of pastrami.
There but for fortune may go you or I.
