Biden in Iraq Visited Son’s National Guard Unit

While in Baghdad, Vice President-elect Joe Biden visited soldiers of the 261st Theater Tactical Signal Brigade and 4th Infantry Division. ABC News’ Matt Jaffe passes along these shots from the military.

His son, Captain Beau Biden, is not pictured below, but he’s one of 114 soldiers from the 261st Theater Tactical Signal Brigade.

Doesn’t that make it more dangerous for his son. I’m sure some already know where the VP’s son is, but now it is widely known because daddy came a calling.

When will Sarah Palin visit her son??? Sorry she claimed last week she is in lower class category. 2012 may be, if god will be kind enough to open doors for her!

What a good act on Biden’s part. This may already show he will also care about our other troops in harms’ way, unlike the Bushies who couldn’t have cared less whether our kids died for Bush/Cheney’s immoral and illegal war on Iraq.

It seems to me the trip was more for visting his son and putting pressure on his son’s Commanders.

Hey buzziea tell us exactly what your “morality” is and where it came from. And explain what “illegal” means when it wasn’t Bush that authorized the war but Congress?

I’m glad Biden visited Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iraq. He’s traveled to the region many times and they respect and trust him. I hope Obama continues to call on (it looks like he will) Joe Biden’s foreing policy skills and have Biden develop or heal relations with Putin and Russia. Putin has been using some anti-American rhetoric of late. I think we have neglected Russia for too long. Thank you for your service Joe Biden.
