Bush Schedules Final Press Conference for 9:15am
EmailABC News’ Jennifer Duck Reports: President Bush is holding his final press conference this morning, just ahead of his administration’s last week in office.
Though President Bush took reporter questions last month in Baghdad, it has been nearly six months since his last full press conference which took place on July 15, 2008.
Ahead of the president’s press conference, White House Press Secretary Dana Perino said, ""The President will make a brief opening statement, commenting on the important role the White House press corps has in covering presidents and the White House, and then will take questions."
Adding that "The president is looking forward to discussing the important events of the last eight years as well as issues in the news today."
Much has changed for the nation since his last full press conference. At his July 15 presser, Bush said this on the economy: "The bottom line is this: We’re going through a tough time, but our economy has continued growing, consumers are spending, businesses are investing, exports continue increasing, and American productivity remains strong. We can have confidence in the long-term foundation of our economy, and I believe we will come through this challenge stronger than ever before."
Bush leaves office on January 20 after President-elect Barack Obama is sworn in.

What the h3ll is Bush talking about?Sounds like Bush is rambling on incoherently….sounds like my teenagers when they are in a tight spot trying to talk their way out of something except my teenagers are more intelligent and do a better job of it.

Bush is a damn fool lol. I have never watched one of his press conferences, but this one is something else. I am not a bush supporter. I’ve never listened to him I turn the TV everytime he has something to say, but I will say that some of the things that he said today makes sense. It’s easy to be on the outside looking in and monday morning quarterbacking, but it has to be a difficult thing to see those daily intel breifings and knowing all of the things that can go wrong at the drop of a hat in this country and having to make the right decisions, until you walk in the shoes of the President you will never know. I won’t miss him, but I will give him the respect for keeping the terrorist away from the homeland for the last couple of years.

God have mercy upon this fellow while the country is nothing but the greatest disaster ever! This man has done more harm against Christianity than the pagans could ever have done. Yes, may God have mercy upon him, because he may not have known what he did? It is obvious and more obvious; each time he talks that he may believe that he did his hero Jesus, the greatest favor ever.
I am glad that God is the final judge, of us all! His, George W.’s war mentality/mindset was his never ending solution to any and everything he faced as a Commander in Chief; however, speaking and acting like the Emperor and King of all times!
