I always found Magic to be a fascinating character because of his business interests.
Yes he was a legend on the court and a notorious legend behind the late night desk but his investment in inner city revitalization is a big deal to me.

Say what you want – root for his demise or his success .. I could care less! What I’m proud of is that I live in the greatest country on earth where democracy thrives and the turnover is first class! Think what you want of Bush – he was gracious and it’s so obvious that Laura thinks a lot of Michelle! Props to them – NOW .. no more excuses! Get with it!

Why would someone claiming to have unprotected sex with hundreds of women, contracting HIV, be a role model for anyone? Who cares what he thinks about the Great O.

Martin Luther King knew better than Magic Johnson and Jake Tapper. In a 1964 interview, he predicted a “negro” president in less than 40 years, which was slightly early. He had apparently seen the potential from the rapid progress in civil rights in his lifetime. MLK was also a gifted visionary.
