President Obama at Alfalfa Dinner
From an excerpt provided by the White House: "I am seriously glad to be here tonight at the annual Alfalfa dinner. I know that many of you are aware that this dinner began almost one hundred years ago as a way to celebrate the birthday of General Robert E. Lee. If he were here with us tonight, the General would be 202 years old. And very confused."

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
Witless from Wasilla is at the dinner tonight. She, like Gen. Lee, is also very confused.

Amazing how President Obama’s flower children can show so much hate for Governor Palin.
I think they fear her.

Dear Help: You obviously have not read the news. Obama has spoken to state governors, signed an emergency order (all within less than 24 hours). Didn’t you see the KY governor on television praising Obama for his quick response and that the governor was able to speak directly to Obama when he called the White House. Bush didn’t even have a briefing on Katrina for 2 days. Homeland Security is monitoring the situation and in constant contact with the KY governor. The National Guard is so depleted of equipment due to our two wars that they do not have enough equipment to assist properly.

another Dear Help: What’s been in the news is the details of the weather event and its devastation. Because that’s what has been the news. The government came through immediately.
My parents live in Missouri and they got the storm Tuesday and have been without electricity every since. My dad said their county was declared a FEDERAL disaster area Wednesday morning.
You watch too much Faux news

So is Obama having $100 wagyu steaks at this dinner like the $100 steaks he ordered for dinner the other night?
The children of Kentucky suffer while Obama lives it up!! This is FAR worse than Katrina. Every day Obama becomes a bigger and bigger disaster.

Can the good folks freezing to death in the Midwest get some of the table scraps left over from Obama gorging himself? It would be the least Obama could do since Midwesterners actually pay their taxes, unlike Obama’s appointees.
Posted by: Where's the change? | January 31, 2009, 11:19 pm 11:19 pm
If only Obaam didn’t spend $150,000,000.00 on his coronation (the most expensive in history) then there might be some money to help he children in Kentucky and Missouri who are freezing.

Ohio folk, I am actually delighted and I am hoping that Republicans choose her in 2012. She will be the path of least resistance. I will happily vote for her because I am already missing the SNL skids of her.

Actually, I think Lee would not be confused; he personally opposed slavery, his personal servant during the war was a freedman, and after the war, when a black came to the communion rail in a Richmond Episcopal church, and the whites stayed back (presumably in shock) Lee came to the rail to join him.

The Jokes on You Low Life’s thinking that Rush Limbaugh and those Republicans that Voted Against the Obama Stimulus Plan, are Against Obama’s Plan…
They are For it…Got It..Great.
Now Life about that…Low Life’s !!
———————
NEW YORK — Most Republican governors have broken with their GOP colleagues in Congress and are pushing for passage of President [Barack Obama's Economic Aid Plan ]that would send Billions to States for Education, Public Works and Health Care.
Their state treasuries drained by the financial crisis, governors would welcome the money from Capitol Hill, where GOP lawmakers are more skeptical of Obama’s spending priorities.
The 2008 GOP vice presidential nominee, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, planned to meet in Washington this weekend with Senate Republican leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky and other senators to press for her state’s share of the package.
Florida Gov. Charlie Crist worked the phones last week with members of his state’s congressional delegation, including House Republicans.
Vermont Gov. Jim Douglas, the Republican vice chairman of the National Governors Association, planned to be in Washington on Monday to urge the Senate to approve the plan.
“As the executive of a state experiencing budget challenges, Gov. Douglas has a different perspective on the situation than congressional Republicans,” said Douglas’ deputy chief of staff, Dennise Casey.
Not a single Republican voted with the majority last week when the House approved Obama’s $819 billion combination of tax cuts and new spending. The president’s goal is to create or preserve 3 million to 4 million jobs.
Republicans led by House Minority Leader John Boehner of Ohio complained that the plan is laden with pet projects and will not yield the jobs or stimulate the economy in the way Obama has promised.
The measure faces GOP opposition in the Senate, where it will be up for a vote in the week ahead.

Why do I feel suspect about this sudden populist sentiment directed against Obama? Heck, I bet it’s about authentic as a three dollar bill or Nancy Pelosi’s smile.

Hillary needs to resign as SOS and get ready for 2012.
The weak “Carter-like” Obama will only be around four years.
Obama is more afraid of Rush and Palin than Ahmadeinejad who basically called BO a wuss.
God help America.

“It sound like Obama is confused.”
That’s the trouble with concocting a celebrity presidency out of a Revlon-girl-style person who seems to know NOTHING about the history of the United States. Obama — many American blacks TRIED to point this out, early on — is “African-American” without being American in his experience or education. (Yeah, Hawaii is technically a “state”, much to the disliking of most Hawaiians … sooner or later, when push comes to shove, Hawaii WON’T be a US state.)
He gives offense — REAL offense having nothing to do with white-black blabla — to MILLIONS in and from the South (and maybe to people in other regions) by mocking General Lee, in the first place.
Secondly, The One is NEVER funny when he tries to joke.
His “the puppy had some tax problems” is NOT funny to those who think His trying to put scofflaw corporate hack Daschle in charge of “health” is a bad joke in itself.

“whos CEO got bailout they pay back to obama party and can get VIP when inaguration”
So … the Congress is kind of the bag man between the “Obama” organization and the corporations? It’s so post-racially sweet … sort of like Sicily.
Remember what happened to Mussolini. Sooo undignified.

Obama reminds me of Kwame Kilpatrick. The difference is Obama is better at hiding his mean streak and thuggishness. He has more people babysitting him to make sure he doesn’t get caught.

You can’t be so hateful and be happy. Be careful people! Too much hate will make your lives miserable. Please take a deep breath and relax! Whew! Your anger might suffocate you.
