Our exclusive one-on-one with the president-elect kicks off ABC News’ week-long series on the economy, “America’s Economy: What’s the Fix?” I sit down with Obama just as Congress is on the verge of introducing the economic stimulus package. We’ll cover all the big issues facing Obama in his first hundred days. We’ll also find out how his family is settling into life in Washington. Don’t miss it. If you have a question for the president-elect, email me HERE. Obama Avoids Questions on Contraception Rule
Wow,
Can we expect more hardball questions comparable to what the media has asked him so far…..
“where did you first meet michelle”?
“when did you realize that she was the one”?
“are you excited to move into the white house”?
“what is on your breakfast menu”?
These are the kinds of zingers barry has had to deal with thus far. God help us all.

Here are the haters! LOL! If you remember is was George and company that thought the American public wanted to hear them question PEBO about flag pins, trying to through him under a bus! Stop the silliness! This man has had Fox News and the rest of you digging into his backround! He’s been questioned alot more than silly Sarah! He will be your President, get over it!

For once in this whole election debacle, George, try to earn your keep and ask some thought provoking questions of PEBO like “why is this in-coming administration plagued with so much corruption even before they take office?” In the history of the USA, why is PEBO the least vetted public official ever? How is it that a civilian will be barred from getting security clearance but PEBO, who admitted taking hard drugs (cocaine), is allowed to be commander-in-chief? Please get your nose out of PEBO’s butt and at least pretend to be a journalist.

He’s had plenty of tough questions. Don’t blame him because you can’t be bothered to get yourself informed. And if you have a tough question for him, email George. And by tough, I don’t mean “uhhhhhhh….duhhhhhh…birth certificate! liberal! kool-aid! messiah!”

How in his administration has been shown to be corrupt? There you guys go again, just making stuff up. You are nothing but noise.

What is your evidence that he is “the least vetted public official ever?” And the presidents of the last 16 years have admitted to using drugs. Using drugs does not disqualify somebody from getting security clearance. Just a heads up. Two absolutely asinine questions which George, thankfully, knows better than to even entertain the notion of asking.

Are you going to stop the massacre by the Jews of innocent children and other civilians in the Gaza, or are you going to continue giving them carte blanche to keep on murdering Palestinians as they please?
Please respond. Thank you.

How can four days of Inaugural Balls be justified in light of the current economic crisis? If Mr. Obama would insist that this not happen, that would truly be ‘change’!
It seems the money being spent could be used more wisely, in a way that would ‘help’ the Americans who have lost jobs and losing their homes. I hear “one thing”…I’m seeing another.

President Obama, I am a ex-navy man. With all of the old navy ships that are in moth balls, why don’t we re-fit them and use them for emergency housing and regular housing. When Katrina hit, we could have used something like that. Also, with the way the economy is going, we could use them for housing for those that are in need.
Many Thanks,

With the news of Jett Travolta, I hope you, Mr. Obama are more aware of the dangers of epileptics living alone. In my case, I own my house, live alone, can’t work and get SSI for Rxs. Texas devalues the house to the heirs of the property owner with state assistance. The branch of state govt. is Tx. DADS. I feel my sons deserve the full inheritance of my property. People with DADS assistance, who don’t own property, don’t pay. What can you do to help make it fair for the adult epileptic who lives alone, has no assistance & doesn’t want heirs to lose the value of their inheritance? Here in McAllen, the only assistance I get is through the local ADA transportation provided. That is GOOD, but will everyone wait until the number of Jett Travolta cases keeps growing before epileptics-people with seizures are recognized for needing help?

President Obama, Now that oil & Gasoliene is going back up, which most figured it would, will you allow safe environment drilling, instead of letting China, Russa & everyone else get it, right off our coast? It would be nice to help Americans – for a Change!

CRY FOR HELP
THIS IS THE PROBLEM WITH SMALL BUSINESS AND WHY THERE ARE SO MANY PEOPLE NOT WORKING. WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE TO STIMULATE THIS ECONOMY NOW. NOT GIVING BIG BUSINESS MORE MONEY IS HELPFUL. SMALL BUSINESS NEEDS TO BE ABLE TO AFFORD TO PAY PEOPLE AND GROW TO HIRE PEOPLE AND THUS STARTING THE ECONOMY ROLLING ONE SMALL STEP AT A TIME. I HAVE BEEN SELF EMPLOYED FOR 15 PLUS YEARS AND I TRIED TO PAY PEOPLE TO WORK FOR ME AND I COULD NOT AFFORD THE PAYROLL TAX, SALES TAX, PROPERTY TAX, UNEMPLOYMENT TAX, INSURANCE, HIGH ENERGY COST TAX ON GAS, TO GET TO WORK, TAX ON THE COLD BEER AFTER WORK AND THE LIST GOES ON. HOW CAN A SMALL BUSINESS GROW?? I HAVE MOVED 4 TIMES IN THE TOWN I HOUSE MY BUSINESS BECAUSE THE RENTS KEEP GOING UP ALONG WITH THE SNOW BALL EFFECT OF ALL THE GOODS I USE AND SELL. I BUY AMERICAN PRODUCTS WHEN I CAN BUT MOST PRODUCTS COME FROM OVERSEAS. I BELIEVE IN BUY AMERICAN AND PUT AMERICANS BACK TO WORK, BUT YOU SEE WHAT WE ARE UP AGAINST.
RECENTLY I HEARD OUR MASSACHUSETTS GOVERNOR ON RADIO AND TV PROMOTING HIS PLAN TO HELP BUSINESS IN MASSACHUSETTS GROW. HE MENTIONED A COLLEGE STUDENT WITH NO HISTORY OF RUNNING A SMALL BUSINESS AND HOW THEY GAVE HIM A LOAN AND NOW HE EMPLOYS 20 PEOPLE. NO EXPERIENCE, NO CREDIT HISTORY GOOD OR BAD AND HE GETS MONEY TO START HIS BUSINESS. I FOUND A LOCATION DOWN THE STREET FROM MY BUSINESS THAT WAS FOR SALE FOR A LONG TIME AND I DECIDED TO MAKE AN OFFER ON THE BUILDING. THE ASKING PRICE FOR 3 UNITS THAT I COULD HOUSE MY BUSINESS AND RENT TWO OTHER UNITS FOR INCOME AND PROBABLY MAKE MONEY ON THE DEAL, IF NOTHING ELSE. THE OFFER THEY ACCEPTED WAS $50,000.00 LESS THAN THE CURRENT ASSESED VALUE GIVING ME 20% EQUITY IMMEDIATELY. THE SELLER WAS ASKING $325,000.00 FOR THE PROPERTIES AND I OFFERED $200,000.00 AND THEY ACCEPTED THE OFFER AND WERE GOING TO GIVE ME CASH BACK FOR CLOSING COST OF $10,000.00. WHEN I WENT TO MASS DEVELOPMENT IN OUR LOCATION FOR A LOAN, I WAS DENIED BECAUSE I COULDN’T SHOW ENOUGH PROFIT ON MY TAX RETURN TO SATISFY THE BOARD, YET A COLLEGE KID GETS MONEY WITHOUT ANY ESTABLISHED CREDIT.
HOW ABOUT BAILING OUT THE SMALL BUSINESS OWNERS OR EACH AMERICAN TAX PAYING CITIZEN. THIS WOULD TAKE ABOUT 500 BILLION DIVIDED UP BETWEEN ALL AMERICAN TAX PAYING CITIZENS. ROUGH ESTMATE $10-15,000.00 TO EACH OF US AND WE IN TURN WILL PAY OUR MORTGAGES BUY CARS AND PRODUCTS WHICH WILL IN TURN GET BANKS GOING AND ENERGY EFFICIENT CAR COMPANIES (HYDROGEN POWERED CARS IS THE WAY TO GO).
SINCE I HAVE PROPERTY I AM ON PAPER PROPERTY RICH BUT CASH POOR AND EVERY MOVE I MAKE TO BECOME LESS IN DEBT I GET SHOT DOWN BY BANKS BECAUSE MY DEBT TO INCOME RATIO IS LOW. I HAVE CO-SIGNED AND SIGNED FOR STUDENT LOANS, MORGAGES FOR MY PARENTS BECAUSE OF CREDIT CARD RATES OF 28 PERCENT BEING CHARGE ON LOANS WHICH WILL NEVER BE PAID FOR IF MINIMUM DUE PAYMENTS ARE MADE. MY FATHER IS 84 AND HE HAD CREDIT CARD DEBT ON 3 CARDS HIS PAYMENT HAD A PRINCIPAL PAYMENT OF ABOUT A DOLLAR A MONTH THE REST INTEREST. I HELPED HIM BY CO-SIGNING A LOAN ON HIS HOUSE AT A GOOD RATE. THIS HELPED HIM BUT HURTS MY NUMBERS WHEN TRYING TO BORROW MONEY. I CO-SIGNED MY DAUGHTERS STUDEN LOANS AND TOOK OUT MANY MY SELF TO HELP HER BECOME AN ARCHITECT. GREAT FOR HER BUT IT HURTS MY RATIO FOR CREDIT.
I NEED HELP AND I SPEAK FOR THE SMALLEST BUSINESS AND THE MIDDLE CLASS AMEICANS THAT PUT EVERYTHING INTO THE TAX SYSTEM AND NOW I AM READY TO CLOSE MY DOORS SEARCH FOR A JOB AND TRY TO SELL MY HOUSE AND BAIL OUT AND CUT MY LOSSES. THAT’S WHAT WE ARE FACING.
I CAN’T SEE GIVING BANKS, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND CAR COMPANIES MONEY WHEN IT’S US THAT NEED TO EXPAND AND US THAT NEED THE TAX RELIEF AND US THAT NEED A BREAK. WE WILL SPEND MONEY WE WILL BUY GOODS WE WILL BUY CARS AND WE WILL PAY OUR MORGAGES.
THANKS

WHY I AM NOT SPENDING MONEY IN THIS ECONOMY.
I SENT THE EMAIL BELOW TO DOZENS OF CAR DEALERSHIPS. PLEASE, READ !
I need a new car. But, since I am one of those of many responsible homeowners that have been paying their mortgages and daily bills on time, I am unable to refinance my mortgage loan because I have not defaulted on my obligations.
If I refinance my mortgage loan, I will have a higher montlhy payment. That is due to the monthly devaluation of my new property. No equity !
I contacted over 100 politicians, magazines, newspapers and radio stations telling them that the consumers such as myself would be able to buy a new car, or whatever that is being sold out there, if we would be able to refinance our mortgage loans at a lower rate. The money that we would be saving, it would then be injected into this stagnant economy.
The politicians are not listening to their constituents. However, I am sure that they would listen to those that make financial contributions into their political campaign.
I am doing my half by letting you know why you are not selling the cars in your parking lot.
Now, it is up to you if you want to keep your business open or make the headlines of tomorrow’s newspaper.
Contact the politicians and have them find a way to restructure the present mortgage loans held by responsible homeowners.
As I said before, I am doing my half. Don’t wait too long only to regret by sitting on your hands.
Respectfully,
Walter Serafim

Dear Mr.President Obama, my question of great concern for my self, grandparents, single parents and most importantly millions of children ….”What will you and congress do to enforce child support, since so many fathers are neglecting and not taking responsibility for the care of their children.” I don’t believe the suspension of a individuals drivers license and the forfeiture of income taxes to be a significant motivator.

Have you gotten my mail sent you please respond.
Do you believe that there is no justice just life?
That’s what I was told by my our attorney which is why I am here!!
Dear: President Elect Obama I hope that you have had both a safe and Merry Christmas. I am writing you today with the hope of protecting my family and friends. This letter was only crafted after her consistent encouragement and love. The justice system has treated us both harshly as of late. The negative events in that have taken place in our lives begin with a child custody battle with my wife’s former spouse. Dude to poor representation and communication were suppose to have a child exchange. Late that Friday evening told that it would not take place without a slip of paper. But when we called our attorney who said that it had been signed that it was finished business. She called back to tale her ex-husband that it had taken place he claimed that he nor his attorney had the papers and that he knew no about no such thing. So due to the fact that we didn’t have a copy ether. Due the time and day we were out shopping and running errands close to the courthouse naturally we stopped to request the papers. Which we did without result they offered little or no information. So we proceeded to drive next door in hopes of contacting the court appointed attorney for the childern. When we arrived they had began to lock up and their were only lights in a couple of offices near the back. So I decided to knock and give it a try the receptionist slowly walked about halfway to door looked at us with a fowl expression and turned around. While seeing this I called my wife to the door who was sitting in the car. By the time my wife had exit the car she had already returned to the office. She also tried knocking before I told her lets go and that we had done everything that we could. Prior to that day we only got to talk with the receptionist once which was she was rude an disrespectful. My wife tried to explain about abuse and neglect to the children. She cut my wife off rudely when she spoke and when I spoke to the receptionist she deflected my conversation onto my wife. She spoke to my wife as if I wasn’t even in the room she was questioned saying that she refused to even take a message or have the children’s attorney contact us. After leaving the parking lot about two miles away from the building there were blue lights behind me and my wife. As soon as I stopped the car. I rolled down the window to see what we had done wrong and a couple of officers came up to the car and opened the door and pull both of us out of the car. Then they did a complete search of our car. They had us both go to the police station were they forced questioning of my wife even after she asked for her attorney. The claimed they talked to both attorneys and the judge on our case because it had a gag order. After the got done with a phone call they took privately they knew more then they should have about the case. They made my wife go home after they told her I would been charged. Three police officers entered the room in front of the cell were they sat down for about 15 to 20 min.s laughing. Then I was pulled out of the cell by the Sargent. He tried get to agree with him that not had happened here is what he said. Then the three officers took me back to the cell. They then to me back into the cell and backed me into a corner to rouse me into an altercation. This was a blatant temp to start an altercation . While making the comments about and my wife’s relationships. That they didn’t like the fact that I was black and that I have a white wife. After this stuff happened they then had me transfer to the Rankin County Jail for five days on Misdemeanor. I had never been to jail or had any issues with the law until 07/11/08. On that Saturday talked to an inmate how was a military man who three way called my wife for me. I was only on the phone for about a minute when they cut the call off. They call me over to the speaker box and told me not to place any more call. After lights out a big heavy set male came to the cell an call me out. I asked him were we going and all he would tell me is that (you will see). We passed a desk with a black female officer whom I would find out here name later. I was then given death threats by a Deputy Sheriff with a tazer to my neck and between my legs. I have done everything that I can except making formal reports with little result. I have not mad the reports due to the fact that live with in this county. Mr. Obama I am not looking for a hand out just some justice. Me and my wife are willing to take a polygraph, Misdemeanor, or noliemir.com. I would be willing to do the Opra or Dr. Phil show.
Still Standing,
Derek

We are all keenly aware of the severe condition of the business and for profit sectors of our country. Very little is being said about the condition of the non-profits who are trying to assist individuals in all areas. I am the Exec. Director of a domestic violence shelter program that experience federal cuts for the current fiscal year (VOCA – Victims of Crime Act) and am holding my breath to make it through June.
Is President elect Obama looking into this critical sector of our communities (non-profits)?
I understand that there are so many questions that you cannon stay on the air long enough to make a dent but please at some point direct your attention to this need. Thanks for your excellent reporting!!! I will be watching Sunday!!

To All Americans
I sent this email to all are U.S. senators and other elected officials.
Dear Senator
Hi, Let me make this quick and simple.
Nothing has been done to help the working people in this country.
The credit card act, or law, that was passed, does not help people
in debt for 1.5 years. It will be too little, to late.
I have had this thought for awhile now.
Why not give each American working tax payer between the ages of 18 to 62.
A interest free 30 yr loan for $100,000.00!!! Or what the heck, in this economy every American. Make it so they can not file bankruptcy on it! If not paid! It will come out of there estate, or taxes, and if they retire, it will come out of there 401-k! Meaning safeguards can be put in place to protect the govt, and we will do this for the next 15 years for those who turn 18 or something like that, or we can just do it now as a one time deal. Well all the details could be worked out in a bill, at a later date. We just need to do it fast, and now for the working and poor of this country….
Just a thought, I think it will work, better than anything we have done so far..
Well anyways if not then, oh well I tried, and good luck coming up with
better solutions for the people of this country…..
Everyone I talk to always says “ONLY IF IA HAD $100,000.00 THAT WOULD STRAITEN UP EVERYTHING IN MY WORLD FOR ME, AND MY FAMILY”…. Well I hear that a lot. But your the one with the
power, I just hope you use it for the people……
Thanks again for your time and listening
THANK YOU………

We have an opportunity like no other to improve our economy and to make our nation a world leader in green investment and technology. President-elect Obama presented a plan that advances clean energy technologies and investment in green jobs as a key driver for economic recovery. His plan makes an important down payment on solutions that will transform America’s economy and lead to a clean energy future that will benefit generations to come.
It is vitally important that the government focuses on investing in newer, cleaner, more efficient technology and not wasting money on costly, business-as-usual approaches like new coal plants, dams, or “highways to nowhere.”
Please keep this plan focused on the priorities that will provide short-term economic recovery and long term economic stability and a cleaner, safer world.
* Invest in the most efficient green solutions.
* Boldly stimulate green industries.
* Fix existing needs first.
* Invest in environmental restoration and green infrastructure.
* Reject economic proposals which would increase global warming pollution, destroy important natural areas, or increase our reliance on wasteful water use.
Keep economic recovery focused on clean energy! Dr. Larry Bates would do good to serve as an economist at the helm of sighting cause an effect in terms of a real rational look at economy in harmony with ecology based jobs.
President-Elect Barack Obama is digesting critical thought for solutions in every matter or event concerning; vision, knowledge, implementation, experiences and wisdom; thus raising mankind from barbaric to bicameral behavior resulting in a collective conscience working Americans together. http://www.sidroth.org/site/News2?page=NewsArticle&id=7693&news_iv_ctrl=0&abbr=tv_

Upon reading the makeup of this week’s roundtable, I decided that someone saw the need to media-balance Obama with three conservatives and a liberal hawk.
Fortunately, given his skills, the balance is likely to favor Obama.
(Please let this kind of roundtable be the exception!)
Thanks.

I really want to know what Obama is going to do about American companies that are sending jobs to India, Mexico, Russia, and other third world countries. I think they should have to pay huge fines to a fund to pay unemployment funds to support Americans that are out of work.
I know of one company that shows their red white and blue all over their web site while sending jobs to India, Mexico and Russia.
That is just not right!
When I say fines I mean in the million dollar range. Something big enough that it would not be worth sending those jobs off shore.

As to why Obama didn’t get anything done to help the economy while he was in the Senate is because he WASN”T in the Senate, he was out campaigning to become president. He only got himself elected Senator as a stepping stone into the White House. WHY can;t anyone see how oppotunistic all his actions have been. It has all been a devious plan to get Obama to where he felt he deserved to be, just as Burris feels he deserves to be Senator. There is an arrogance in all this that doesn’t seem to bode well for the people, just Obama and Burris, if you get my drift.

Mr. Obama on January 9, asked for Americans to come forward with new ideas on how to help the economy. If He is really looking for help, please take a look at what I have worked on for the past two years. Lets talk about this package I created and bring it to His attention. I think that if we all come together (Americans) we can built a better Country.
Jobswap Inc.
P.O. Box 884
Bronx, New York 10465
January 2009
Jobswap is a company dedicated to strengthening the backbone of America and the working people. By slowly decreasing the amount of employees being laid off and being fired, Jobswap can help to create a better economy for the future.
As C.E.O. and President of Jobswap, I am asking Congress to implement a tax incentive to employees and employers whom submit, a W-4 Jobswap form to the IRS and the completion of one hundred forty calendar-worked days in the Jobswap program.
By rewarding employees and employers with this taxpayer incentive:
1. Companies would find it more beneficial to merge with each other. This will allow employees to Jobswap their positions, wages, and/or trade within the merge of two or more companies.
2. Jobswap creates extra options to companies having financial difficulties. Jobswap will encourage companies not to close doors, but to open them despite a bad economy or other reasons.
3. With each Jobswap employee tax incentive, companies will be able to apply this allowance to the Job swapper’s individual salary.
4. A tax incentive can assist businesses in payroll of employee’s salaries. This will allow for wholesale pricing to drop in companies merchandise. This ripple effect will then make it affordable for retailers and economical for the consumer.
5. Jobswap offers companies the opportunities to make them realize that the pay rate for a Jobswap employee becomes more affordable. This gives American companies greater opportunities to stop out-sourcing in order for lower pay rates.
6. With a tax allowance, companies would be able to offer employment to Jobswap employees, therefore decreasing unemployment.
7. Jobswap will immediately decrease unemployment payouts.
8. Jobswap encourages individual job swapping in place of the traditional firings from employment due to lack of employee performance.
9. A Jobswap incentive will bring changes in family relationships and personal health.
10. Jobswap will impact employees and employers. They will see how having the right job atmosphere can improve their attitude, work efforts, and overall performance.
11. Jobswap will improve employee and employer matching.
12. Jobswap will encourage employment in urban communities that lack in job skills.
13. Eventually, a Jobswap tax allowance will bring a sense of value and pride back to the U.S. Dollar, working Americans and American companies. Seen by the entire world as a country with pride in low unemployment rates.
14. Jobswap is a powerful stimulus economic recovery package that will create jobs immediately and for the rest of this country’s future.
15. Last but not least, there will always be companies that would rather remain basic taxpayers without the benefits of these tax incentives. Nevertheless, one guaranteed fact is that in every company, Business, Big or small, employees are always looking forward to living a better life.
With the help of this tax incentive, Jobswap can make a major impact in our American economy.
C.E.O. / President

illegal aliens have over a million jobs that we american citezens want. it seems no politiciann wants to address this.I have been personally been affected by this. as I became the 1% american citizen on any job site I went to.I no longer can get a job with the horse racing industry. The bosses are hispanic, they have taken womans lib back 30 years. On my job sites I was paid less then any of the hispanic men, and now there are no jobs for me for over a year. this is a career I chose and done well for twenty five years. Now I can not get a job mucking stalls. I seeillegals doing county jobs, construction, state workers and I feel a million jobs can be recovered by sending illegals back to there country. In marion county florida there are no jobs for american citizens in the horse industry.equine staffers no longer exist and there has been not one job in the classifieds. the govment does not even go after employers of these people. what are you going to do about illegal aliens?

REPAIRING FOREIGN RELATIONS WITH THE EU:
Mr.Obama, I’m curious to know if you plan anytime soon to begin repairing foreign relations with our ally countries, mainly the European Union who have stood behind us in Iraq and Afghan. Our country called on the EU to go to war with us and then we turned our backs on them playing the political games. Philanthropic foundations in Europe have repeatedly asked for the past 5 years now to have foreign currency converted to US dollars and transferred to support the alleviation of poverty, hunger and illness in Africa, but to no avail. What will you do to ensure this deliberate action of non-cooperation by the Treasury Department and other Agencies in Washington in working with our foreign allies is stopped.

Mr. Obama:
Specifically, what steps are you taking to allow immigrants to become legal working citizens of America? (1) Many children came to this country illegally through no fault of their own. America is the only country they know. For all practical intents and purposes – they are Americans. Many of these children are now adults and have children born in America. (2) Many illegal immigrants have lived in America for one or more decades. They have worked and paid taxes. These individuals will never be able to collect from the social security system they have willing paid into because of their status. (3) Not all illegal immigrants are part of the criminal community. (4) Americans can only blame our system for the lax attitude and approach we had toward illegal immigration for so many decades. (5) I can say factually you secured a lot of Latino votes in the hope that you would make life better for “los gentes.” Are you?

Mr. Obama will be a great President. He will fight for all the people of USA. Unfortunately, Mr. George W. Bush was there for the rich, favored laws and persons who does not care about thee common man or woman. I can tell you how the Obama administration will be different than the Bush administration:
a. economy will have more participants as opposed to a selected few (i.e. Federal Reserve Board, Treasury Dept.)
b. tax cuts for the middle & low income class of taxpayers
c. no more mega rich people getting away with not paying their fair share when it comes to taxes
d. no one should be denied health coverage
e. during Obama’s term, a conservative Supreme Court justice will retire and a new Supreme Court justice will serve by doing what is right for America, not by political motivations
When the Obama administration takes office on 1.20.2009-tuesday/the day after America observes the birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., we must all bow down on our knees and pray that he is successful in his initiatives and that his sworn enemies ( whomever they are ) shall not prevail. We are 1 nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and JUSTICE FOR ALL!

if Obama says that we all need to give to help economy, how about he starts us off by donating all the money he raised for his innauguration spectacle? OH wait..he means the rest of us, the little people need to give, not the dictators in government.

So, Mr. President-elect, we know that most Americans want enforcement of immigration laws, a secure border, and they vehemently oppose amnesty. How are you going to satisfy a narrow group of Democrats (such as myself) and special interest groups by passing an amnesty bill without jeopardizing the thing all first-term Presidents want…a second term?

The comments here only reflect the views of people who would critisize Obama even for washing his teeth in the morning.
Negative people are like magnet: they always end-up stuck together.
Sensible people will not be expressing premature conclusions even before his official Inauguration.
Which, by the way, is actually the ‘People Inaguration’ to mark such an historic American achievement, infact is being paied by people who have donated millions for the occasion, i.e. no tax-payers money is being touched for it.
Now, cynics sit back and enjoy…other people’s joy!

Obama (Mr Transparency)is unwilling to provide proof of his natural born citizenship, refuses to disclose his college admissions records, and Pakistani passport that allowed him to visit Pakistan at a time when Americans were denied acccess, YET ABC IS UNWILLING TO INVESTIGATE THIS MATTER, OR EVEN DISCUSS THE MANY COURT CASES THROUGHOUT THE COUNTRY CHALLENGING OBAMA/SOETOROS ELIGIBILITY TO BE PREZ.
George is nothing more than a bought and paid for spreader of pro-obama propaganda.
Hey George,, your messiah is a liah

From reading some of these comments, I see that individuals in this country are facing hard times; physically, mentally, and financially. So many people expect Obama to come in and solve all of their problems on day one.
I have never witnessed any other incoming president being asked to move heaven and earth for everyone.
There should be more of a focus on what Bush didn’t do which caused us so much grief. Let’s do a simple “before and after” exercise. Before Bush was Clinton and there was properity. Before Obama there was Bush and no one is outraged at what Bush has done to all of us and we people are transferring the burden to Obama before he enters office and while Bush is still in charge. What a travesty, what a farce, total cowardice.

Mr. President-Elect: During the campaign you promised to end the cronyism of the Bush administration. With your active pushing of both Valerie Jarrett (Senate Canidate #1) and Caroline Kennedy to be appointed to vacant Senate seats, while neither one has the qualifications to hold such a seat, are you not continuing the same practice of cronyism you vowed to end. From where I sit it sure sounds like “Brownie your doing a hell of a job” all over again.
