Sunstein Will Be WH Regulatory Czar

ABC News has learned that Harvard Law School professor Cass Sunstein will be appointed regulatory czar in the Obama White House.

Sunstein met President-elect Barack Obama at University of Chicago law school, where both served on the faculty.

Sunstein will be quite a shift from Bush appointees to the White House Office of Information and Regulatory Affairs.

The Wall Street Journal first reported on Sustein’s pending appointment.

So has Obama hired both Susstein and Powers (husband and wife) for the White House?

Wow, I can’t wait for this guy to take office. I will find:
After 73 year on this earth I
have been behaving the wrong
way..now I will finally know
the proper conduct.
The $500 check I will be receiving
will really help me get out of
poverty. Now I won’t have to be
on welfare anymore. HA HA

Interesting. I remember a Susstein article in the NYT where he proposed gaming the 401K deductability to to influence people’s behavior.
Out of the box, but maybe a little too out of the box. I like having my money safely away from the government.
That may be a forlorn hope now since O will need trillions for his stately pleasure domes.

Chicago has such a fine upstanding government, with most of this administration being from Chicago, does that mean that all the states and cities will be run like Chicago?

Are they going to run like Chicago?
It is going to be a problem.

Quite a shift? Really? You should go back and read the nice things that Sunstein had to say about Bush’s choice for this position. And you should familiarize yourself a bit with Sunstein’s views on regulation.

Yeah, this guy likes to “manage behaviors.” He’s a Paternalist.
In four years, nobody will be allowed or able to wipe their own noses, much less think indepedently enough to make an informed voting decision. And that’s the way Obama wants it.
Welcome to Paternalland.
