God bless Ryan Crocker for his service and outstanding coordination with Gen Petraeus and the Iraq Govt.
Not to put down George Mitchell or Dennis Ross, Crocker is actually someone that should be called on for recent success in negotiating with the Muslim world.
And Negroponte, Khalizad and Petraeus all got promotions from serving in Iraq.

After a successful and quiet election in Iraq, a good Ambassador will be succeeded by another experienced one. It is called starting anew and clearing slates in anticipation of our pullout.
What does Mr Hill’s appointment have to do with nasty personal attacks on Obama and an assaulted man on the streets of Washington, D.C.?
Say something relevant and grow up.
