ABC News’ Rick Klein reports: Might there be sOme subliminal pOlitical messaging gOing On? The Los Angeles Times asked a couple of graphic artists to decode the Recovery.gov logo that’s being stamped on projects funded by the stimulus measure. As they point out, it is one very big “O.” Know any politicians whose name starts with “O”? “The Obama ‘O’ logo helped brand the then-senator on the campaign trail, and now Mode Project, the same Chicago firm that had a hand in that design, has returned to help him brand the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act,” the LA Times’ Adam Tschorn writes.  And there are eight stars in the top left quadrant . . . “If I were to take a guess, it might be one star for every year Obama will be in power — but maybe that’s just being optimistic,” said Armin Vit, a New York-based graphic designer who, according the newspaper, “specializes in corporate rebranding.” (h/t — Andrew Malcolm)
