1) cause Hillary to win the nomination (which he desperately tried to do)

I can’t believe the Justice Department is not investigating Rahm Emanual for conspiring with the liberal news media to attack Rush. After all, Rush is a private citizen and not a government official.

Knowing Limbaugh’s past drug abuse, I would recommend a really close watch so that he doesn’t attempt to physically harm President Obama. You never know what a drugged out psycho believes he’s capable of doing. There are psycho hospitals across the country with folks who have deluded themselves (with the help of drugs) into thinking they need to kill. Limbaugh’s quite capable of doing that, especially considering his warped ego.

It was an idiotic question to begin with. “Do you hope Obama succeeds?” It’s a loaded question. If you answer yes, then you are a supporter. If you don’t answer yes, you are an ‘ill-wisher.’ It’s ridiculous. Can’t we get past this obvious smear campaign by the Demogogues and discuss how these plans are going to bankrupt or help us?

Evidently you don’t read the polls. Obama went from an approval rating of 87% to 57% according to the Rasmussen poll. He is at 37% in other polls.
Even the poll that gives him the highest rating: 67% has him down by at least 20%.
As for Rush, his audience seems to be increasing.

Skipping over all of the rhetoric and banter … Rush is the “overlooked/ignored bully” … since he was not invited to the press luncheon with the President and the President has chosen NOT to dignify any of his comments with a response (among other personal issues he may have against the President), he has decided to turn up the noise and challenge the President to a debate.
He appears to be looking for validation for his position as an out of touch political shock jock. What better way to get validation than from the President of the United States. If that were to happen, he would REALLY be uncontrollable … especially since the leadership of the GOP is unable to pull the reigns in on one of their party-created monsters.
From an outsider’s perspective, Rush has been very entertaining lately. The comedy increased with the apparent indecisiveness of the leadership of the GOP. Unfortunately, the actions of the Party leadership shows why the approval rate for its members continues to decline and why the Republican incumbents will be in the fights for their political careers. I imagine that the Rush Circus will continue to escalate further out of control as the President stays focused on what is really important; getting the country back on track. This recession officially started in January 2007 even before President Obama declared his candidacy. Now we need to fix it. Even small business owners need to spend money to kick start it and then pay back the debt when profits start to come in. Unfortunately, the USA is not a small business that needs just a bit of money! Yes, Dems had a two year majority but how many Republicans posting have been honest enough to mention the word cloture filibuster that was either used frequently or threatened by the Republican senators to block Dem legislature? The number is the highest in Senate history – 100 times! And, President Bush threatened veto 39 times. You can check official sites and count for yourselves. Bipartisan by the GOP was non-existant in those two years. Please note that I have been polite but I will not tolerate my President, or any future President of either Party, been called out to debate by an entertainer who has not been elected to anything other than appointed by his/her fans. Limbaugh’s ratings may go up but presumably his financial contract is fixed whether they go up or down? So, let him claim that he will own the United States of America.
