I think the FAA should study more birds fly pattern and seasons. So they can set up schedule accordingly. Birds had been flying since the creation. They are not going to stop flying just because we want them to stop. We are the ones that need to accomadate to their schedules.

Solutions to the problem of bird versus man attempting to occupy the same space ought to include increasing the amount of wetlands or natural habitat needed by these birds. In this way many birds may be redirected, and an increase in flights may not result in an increase in bird strikes. ABC, everyone, this is not rocket science.

Air travel is safer then driving a car so a few birds from time to time are not a real problem I don’t think. Design the planes better and keep on flying is my advice. Air travel is relatively safe even when a few birds getting in our way sometimes.

on the bird strike issue : how many rocket scientists does it take to design aircraft engines to withstand a damn bird stike? duh
