Barack and Bibi Exchange Gifts
So it turns out that apparently the report in Ha-aretz was not correct, and Israeli Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu did not gift President Obama with a copy of that Mark Twain book, as we explored Monday.
We’re told that Mr. Netanyahu gave President Obama a traditional Jerusalem Bible.
President Obama gave Mr. Netanyahu a glass peace box with olive branches on the side. I’m not exactly sure what a "peace box" is, but there you go. If you know what it is, let us know below.

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
“President Obama gave Mr. Netanyahu a glass peace box with olive branches on the side.”
Was there a dead horsehead inside?

You introduce children to the “Peace Box” with a photo of Maria Montessori, then follow with other Peace Makers you are fond of (Helen Keller, Gandhi, Martin Luther King Jr. Johnny Appleseed). Then mid year when your children are familiar with discovering peacemakers inside the box, you include photos of them! Isn’t that lovely?

Bibi has sent a message with his gift of the Bible to obama. “Dial into jewish beliefs” Iseral will not be swayed by obama, who is acting on behalf of Iran. Iseral will take care of itself, with or without the current
US positions.

Are you wishing for further Middle East disasters and tragedies? Apparently, the GOP talking point of wanting Obama to fail hasn’t been extinguished yet.

Obama is doing a great job of failing on his own, he dosn’t need any more help or wishful thinking.

if Israel can take care of itself without US positions or support then why don’t they?

BO has created so many loose ends. This is another one. Go to the problem fix it and leave the unintended consequences behind. He is a failure and will go down in history as and idiot president.

Now everybody and their brother is sueing Chrysler. The mortgage problem hasn’t been touched by the “web site ” that is suppossed to help it. Name one success of this President, not what he wants to do but has been fixed.

How is that? The majority of Americans certainly don’t have that view. CNN had a poll out just this week where he has over a 60% aproval ratng for how he’s handling foreign policy. His overall popularity ratings are staying in the higher levels.
Creating thematic bags and boxes strikes me as a uniquely American venture in creative problem solving. No, I’m not referring to the consumer driven ones, which someone is having a good time mocking, but visionary and planning devices. Both American corporations and education use them. In a way, it’s a statement gift of Amercan ingenuity and creativity. The best leaders in a time of crisis use good resolution skills which involve a willingness to see and implement options beyond the range of conventional wisdom. Laugh if you will and debunk. Who knows? Maybe Netanyahu can be receptive to new solutions, since the old ways have obviously not worked.

Paul wall: because I want this country to be free and not fail I do pray for BO ‘s failure. He is a socialist at heart. Just read his book. He wants to take from producers and give to non-producers , how long do you think that will last?

I’m not sure what a peace box is, or who prescribed it, but I’m pretty sure they’re supposed to be legal in California?

Hey – Read the script! No one has to pray for obamas slide, he’s doing it himself.
1. Loss of the Jewish vote. = 78% 11/08
2. Loss of support and votes by Catholics. = 27% 11/08
3. Loss of labor rank & file vote.
obama sold out GM to the Chinese,
cars for GM will be built in China,
not Mich., Ohio., or Indiania,
No jobs = no votes.
And it’s only been 100+ days.

Sounds like Mr Obama is at last putting some thought into his gifts. Gordon Brown is still trying to figure out how to play the fire sale dvd’s he got on his trip to see the president!

The peace box is a nice gift. The ones that are for sale in the White House gift shop are available with an assortment of candies inside. The maple peace box is rather nice and has a photo of Obama on the lid.

The Olive Branch Chest that was presented to Mr. Netanyahuis is a glass chest with the seal of the President of the United States in gold on the top, and has gold olive branches on the sides, it was produced and designed by glass artist Stephen Schlanser.
