Health Care Reform

The Obama administration holds discussions at the White House today about health care reform.

This may be the best chance since 1994 to actually get a comprehensive health care plan through Congress.

Watch my discussion on the plan with ABC’s Diane Sawyer on Good Morning America.

Plus, we discussed the extraordinary steps being taken by former Vice President Dick Cheney to discredit the Obama administration.

He says it’s his duty to speak out right now, and that a lot of the changes Obama has taken in counterterrorism policy — setting a timetable for closing down Guantanamo Bay, and doing away with the enhanced interrogation techniques — are making America less safe.

But a lot of Republicans are questioning why one of their least popular leaders is out in front right now when they’re trying to look to the future.
