This was my 5th trip down into DC for Rolling Thunder. Although my bike was in the shop…I still was there to show my support for the Vets.
This year I had my 20 year-old Niece in tow and she was moved by the Event and the Vets at “The Wall.” She knows what “Memorial Day” is really about and she made me proud to be her Uncle.
I never served in the Military but I do appreciate all they have sacraficed for my freedoms.
Salute to all who have served and sacrificed!!!

I was there at Rolling Thunder XXII. It’s hard to believe it was only two days ago. The ride through DC was amazing, and the outpouring of gratitude from the veterans waiting along the parade route brought tears to my eyes. I want to personally thank everyone who participated and the spectators as well. From this veteran to all the rest, Bless you in your efforts to keep my country free.

I guess Obama was finally guilted into meeting with them. he must have realized what an ### he was being for not planning to in the first place. Yes they may ride motorcycles, but they are Veterans and heroes. I guess that because his administration has already branded them “extremists”, he decided that he would offend George Soros and his left-wing power base if he met with them. Thus the low key news story that got little exposure when he finally did meet with them. Obama is an embarrassment. He make Bill Clinton look like a great president. At least he is accomplishing one thing: He is showing America and the world that BUSH WAS RIGHT!!!

Good Guys.
We had a Soldier being buried here, and those freaks who like to protest at Soldiers funerals (cant remember the ‘church’ they are from), anyway Roling thunder showed up and placed themselves between these sickos and the family, drowned out there chanting with the bikes.
